Got my tuna and salmon sashimi. Fresh and no fishy taste or smell. Paired very well with sushi ginger only and not including wasabi. I like a little touch of wasabi when I eat sushi or sashimi but decided to skip it this time. Often times I feel like I enjoy the ginger and wasabi more than the fish so I skipped and see if it will still be as enjoyable and it was. I went for my sautéed green beans and mushroom next and liked the freshness and light sweet vegetable taste of them. Next was the snow crabs. Fresh juicy and clean. Got some grilled beef bulgogi next. Mildly seasoned and was good eaten hot from the grill. Disappointed with their baked oyster. Good flavor with whatever seasoning they had with it but it was grainy, like sand grain I think. Had to spit it out and asked for Diet Pepsi refill to wash off my palette before heading for my fruit dessert. Brightly colored not very sweet strawberries paired oddly with salty green olives was a good try. Loved their ripe juicy papayas. Finally with a piece of macaroon to finish off my meal. From the cashier to the crew they are nice. Quick service. Food as i've notice is nothing different from any other asian buffet I've been to in the SF valley area. As usual there's your salad station, tepanyaki, sushi station, soup, chow mein, fried rice, fried food and the usual asian dishes, fruits and other desserts etc etc. It was a friday dinner so we get the specials like the snow crab. But one thing I can say, the taste of their food is a little better from the asian buffets i've been to. They have a well balance taste, not bland and not too salty. But then again, there's nothing extra ordinary about these buffets and I don't know if the $40 per person justifies it. If it was $35/person then everything is really all good. Plus the drinks are separate while in the other buffets they are included. Will we come back? maybe and maybe not,,, but not to the point where we're gonna be craving for their food.
