Big and spacious with private rooms for groups. Don't order soda they now have milk tea, thai tea with different bobas included. Frog legs and escargot too

A nice seafood buffet restaurant in Temple City. Plenty of parking here. We were seated promptly upon arrival. Staffs were attentive and friendly. They got our drinks quickly while we went to get our food. Speaking about foods, there were plenty. They have all sorts of foods from seafood to soup, all kinds of meats. They have a nice dessert section as well. Foods were very good. There were too many things to try, didn't get to try everything. It will probably take many trips here to be able to try everything! We enjoyed eating here. The ambience is quite nice. Will be back one day to try other items.

A really average ayce chinese fusion buffet. You're not going to find the finest quality of ingredients here, but you'll certainly leave here full. Options range from chinese food to dim sum to so called japanese sushi. Service was good and the amount of seating is great. Not sure i would come back, but maybe once in a blue moon, i'll give it another shot. Parking is huge and shared with other shops around.

This place has a lot of variety from seafoods, bbq meat, sushi, desserts and drinks. Best place to buy to go food too. Highly recommended.

Lots of variety here especially on the weekends but it's pricier. There are more seafood options on weekends. They also have a coffee machine now and a few cold flavored teas to choose from, including a toppings station with boba and jellies. There's usually a line at the machine unless it's closer to slower hours around 3pm. All the teas are pretty good. Service is good. It's pretty loud inside though, hard to have a conversation. Also, the blue lights always throws me off. Wish they used regular lights.

We came hungry in the late afternoon/early evening for a hearty meal with lots of food--lunch is $25 and dinner is $38ish. When we walked in, we found the place to be extremely vast and exemplary of a classic Chinese seafood restaurant. Tables and booths are separated well enough for people to enjoy a private experience. The workers at Shiki buffet are very diligent about making sure that people who paid for the lunch fee do NOT touch the dinner options as well. The food itself is of pretty decent quality--nothing that knocks your socks off but it's fantastic for people who are down for a buffet. They offer mostly Asian dishes like dumplings, cooked and raw seafood, sushi, fried rice, stir-fries, meats, but they also have classic sides like fruits and mixed greens, plus some desserts such as cakes, parfaits, pastries, and even ice cream. You have to pay extra for some drink options, but they offer iced teas, water, juices, and smoothies. Even though I'm not much of a buffet girlie nowadays, I enjoyed my time here!

Dim Sum

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Overall, the experience was positive. For $24.99/adult (less for seniors 65+), I believe this buffet represents a great value for those with massive appetites (the price increases dramatically for dinner, holidays, and/or on weekends). The buffet offerings are diverse and expansive: sushi, dim sum, grilled meats, miscellaneous seafood, French fries, ice cream, etc. I even saw a chocolate fountain. There is truly something for everyone here, regardless of any dietary restrictions one may have. Quite a few of the menu items were hit or miss - e.g. the ice cream, black sugar boba, and milk tea were surprisingly good. The cream puffs were dry trash, and the Thai Tea was disappointing in flavor. I did enjoy the mussels and sushi. No crab legs appeared to be available - I suspect they must only be available during dinner/weekends. A large variety of free (included in the base admission price) non-alcoholic beverages were available. There is a 10-12% service charge (depending on the size of your party), but per the written notices posted everywhere in the restaurant, no tips are expected. The posted dining time limit is 2 hours. Plenty of parking was available in the lot outside. The restroom infrastructure on-site is *absurdly* inadequate relative to the capacity of the spacious dining area. Staff were very good about attentively clearing out empty dirty plates from our table. I did not experience any illness from dining here, but my cousin stated that he vomited shortly after dining here with me. I've been told that I have a cast iron stomach. Your mileage may vary.

Raw oysters

There was plenty of parking on the lot. The restaurant was in the same plaza as The Hat and GW Supermarket. Came on a weekend afternoon. It was $37.99 per person. They add 10% tips automatically. The interior was beautiful. Plenty of places to seat. Like most buffets, you pay first, then the waiter takes you to your seat. Non-alcoholic drinks were included. The melon juice and strawberry and banana smoothie were delicious. The crab legs were a must as they were juicy and sweet. The oysters and sushi were not fresh. Actually got food poisoning from the oysters and had to call out sick the next day. My fault for eating oysters at a buffet. The House Soup was really good and had sea cucumber. The hot and sour soup was not good. The fruits and ice cream was a hit or miss. Did not like that they didn't not refill most items as it became less crowded. The cooked oysters were empty every time I went back. Would come back if the food quality improves and the raw dishes were fresh.

My mom loves to come here whenever she's visiting, which means we've been here several times in the past couple of years. It's a typical "all you can eat" Chinese buffet, with much better décor than most (love the blue lighting and chandeliers). Eat In or To Go options/pricing available. They have a wide variety of food options, including salads, fruits, soups, seafood (fish, shellfish, crab legs, fresh sushi/sashimi), meats, vegetarian options, and desserts (ice cream, cookies, and little pastries). The grill section allows you to pick a protein, and a chef will grill it to your desired temperature. The service is very good and the young ladies who take care of your table/plate clearing, drink refills, etc. are wonderful. They have removed tipping at the tables and added a mandatory 10% to your bill. They also offer 10% off for senior citizens (65+).

Boba bar at a buffet

Came here yesterday with a friend for an early dinner. She's never been here but was always curious. I actually do love the variety of seafood they offer and everything else as pretty fresh except their escargot. I loved their variety of soups they had, most places only have clam chowder and hot and sour soup. This place had seaweed soup, herbal soup, chicken soup, and fish maw soup (my fav). They also offered two types of crab; snow crab legs and halves of rock crab (for those that love eating crab brains). They widened their sushi offerings. They had bbq stations available if you wanted them to grill for you. They had beef short ribs, shrimp, pork belly, and shockingly they had lamb chops as well. I loved their boba milk tea dispensers.

I went here on November 22 for my great aunt's birthday. I loved the variety of food that was available, I wasn't expecting there to be dim sum or sushi. Service was alright, it was a large party so a few dozen people were with me. There was a server that had a push cart with drinks. She asked if we wanted any and the options were soda and tea. You could get your own drink at the buffet too. Plates were taken quickly in the first hour or so, then it took a few minutes because more customers were appearing later on through the day. I loved the chairs, they were comfy. The walls were decorated and looked lovely.

No only on weekend lunch or weekday holidays but prepare to pay full price.

Do u have snow crabs for lunch?

Only on holidays and weekends

Do they take reservations?

How much is lunch buffet now?

$39 plus tax

No one is asking this but are the drinks lncluded with the price?

No. They are not included. Soft drinks are $2.69 with free refills. They also have orange juice and apple juice for less than $4 by glass but no refill. They also have beer but I forgot the price

Do they serve oysters, crab legs on week nights?

Crab legs on weeknights yes.

You have to pick up the food yourself. They charge you by weight according to what it is.

Can we reserve a single room for birthday or you do require minimum number of guests? Is there additional cost for room reservation?

Based on my understanding, you can get the tables in a separated “private” area if you have 54 people (9 Tables of 6 people each table). Otherwise, if less than 54, you are sharing the space with other parties, but it’ll still be “semi-private”.… Read more

Do they have a private or dedicated dining area for large groups of over 15 people?

They have a large side room that runs the majority of the length of the restaurant so you can probably request that for a "private" party. But they also have pretty large tables in the front area that can also accommodate large groups.

Wonder what seafood do they offer during lunch time? Thanks in advance

sushi with salmon and other fish, clams stew, clams soup, shrimp dipappetizers, cooked chips, fish fillet, Baby octopus appetizers, among others....NO crab legs or jumbo steamed shrimps

Do they have raw oysters?

They had raw oysters during the weekend buffet on the day of my visit.

This location was recently named one of three LA area buffets in the top 150 in the country, based on Google reviews. I've been to a lot of buffets (Chinese and otherwise), and this was near the top, especially based on the price. We came about 30 minutes after its 11 am opening, and the place was already packed with a line waiting to get in. You pay first, getting water and soda cups at checkout (plates are plentiful near the buffet itself). Emmelyn was the check-in associate, and she was joyful and friendly, putting a smile on my wife's face after a stressful drive through LA traffic. We found out that my wife's lunch was free because it was her birthday. Lunch pricing is $15.19 (M-F), minus $1 for seniors and military. Refillable soda is $2.99. It's find your own seating, and we grabbed the first seats we could find. -- being super crowded meant the food was constantly being replenished and kept fresh. It also meant a lot of line (inadvertent) line cutting and careful, slow movements...need to be careful for sure. -- the taste of the food was good, mainly because most things were turning over quickly. However, the selection of dishes wasn't huge, and the soups didn't look too good. -- I focused on the sushi and was satisfied. They had different type simple rolls and nigiri, with soy sauce at each table. They also had a bottle of eel sauce to douse your rolls with more, if you want. Towards the end, discovered a New Zealand green mussel dish in a hot chili sauce, which I took full advantage of. -- the must get is the Mongolian Grill, which dominates the center of the restaurant. There were three types of sliced frozen meat (beef, chicken, pork), a variety of vegetables (including my favorite, baby corn), and various runny sauces that you pour on top when done. Once your bowl is complete, you need to give it to the operator. But here its a bit different: it operates on a unique system that I've only seen here. In the front counter, there are 20 spots where numbered pager sits. Once a person fills up a bowl with raw ingredients, they place it on the next available pager spot, taking the pager with them. Once the food is cooked, the pager goes off. You then exchange the bowl in your spot, with the pager...and the cycle continues. I asked myself what would happen if all 20 pagers were taken, and decided if that happened, you would have to wait since there would be no more space on the grill for your plate anyway. The system worked really well, with all three of us taking advantage of it. Taste wise, I've had better but certainly not for that price. And I just love the efficiency of it all. -- soft serve ice cream was available, and it was very thick and creamy (though a bit off in taste). My wife also mentioned that you can get cotton candy as well. -- Service was good, with an employee in a hostess outfit personally letting us know that she was there to assist us, including getting drinks. She did clear dishes when necessary, but also seemed to be supervising our section. What's interesting is that the same report mentioned King Buffet in Garden Grove, which now seems to be another branch of the Paradise chain. So need to be leery of such reports not being current...but in this case, following its suggestion paid off.

Definitely been a while since we came here, we used to come here almost every month before Covid…read more After Covid, the changes they made weren't so great. This time, we tried this place again and it's better! The food is still similar to all other buffets, but I think I prefer this place's chicken wings, baked mussels, bbq ribs, and beef stir fry. It is similar price range as other buffets ($20) and drinks are paid separate as usual. Refillable fountain drinks if you prefer but having water works too. The sushi is a hit or miss, I had great sushi rolls but other days it might have been sitting for too long. They refill their trays as food is getting less and I like that there's someone around to ask when they will bring a fresh batch. The tables are numbered so it's easy to know where we sit and where we have to go if it gets busy. Utensils are all plastic or one time use, no more checking if the forks are clean! The plates and bowls are still the reusable ones which is what I prefer for getting food. They have a popcorn machine (also a hit or miss in taste and freshness). For food: The crab legs are served cold and their butter is super yellow (it's most likely butter flavored oil). Bbq Ribs are good, served in single ribs, nice bbq flavor. Chicken skewers are still tender and flavorful, will keep having these! Chicken wings (fresh) are soooo juicy and crispy! They have chicken tenders but I didn't try them. No crab Rangoon or sesame balls unfortunately. Baked mussels taste just the same, great creamy sauce on chewy mussels. Coconut shrimp is fried with sweet creamy mayo sauce, it doesn't have coconut shredding so I love it. Beef stirfry is actually great, it had peppers and mushrooms, but the beef is tender (sometimes not so hit or miss). Ice cream is self serve scooped, they have a sign that it's $2.50 if anyone plans to take ice cream to go. Restrooms are clean when we went, I know during peak hours the restrooms can be a bit gross... Overall I'm glad we came back! Might come back more and hope the experience is good again!

I have always liked this restaurant and have been coming here frequently over the years. I've enjoyed their lobster several times with my family, and almost every dish I've tried here has been delicious. That's why I was especially disappointed with the Beef with Chinese Broccoli this time, as it was far too salty. Despite that, I still think this is a great place for lunch. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced, the service is always good, and the portions of rice are very generous. One thing I especially appreciate is the complimentary orange slices they serve to every customer after the meal. The oranges are always fresh and sweet, making a nice ending to lunch.
