Came back on the 1st day of new year after a long time but unfortunately didn't see any improvements but the price did go up and now it cost exactly $37 for 1 person buffet plus drink and you have to pay first before entering the buffet hall. Items were average to decent and some of the desserts weren't fresh and you can tell they were made a day or two before. Not worth the price at all!!

So I went to the Kings buffet recently located in Western. The service was good. We got sat pretty fast and the food was a decent price very much affordable we went with the group. We were able to all sit together and there are tons of options. Also, I wish they would've had games on. It would've definitely added to the vibe. It had nice lighting and little background music but if they would've had some of the basketball games on, it would've definitely helped the experience. So because I tried so many different things I wanna talk about the stand out the shrimp there really really good and there's fried shrimp there's baked shrimp. There's all different kinds of it. All good really good. The orange chicken was actually pretty solid. Nice flavor nice texture good consistency. The crab was good, but there wasn't a way to crack it so you have to crack it yourself and it was so freaking difficult. And the salmon was some of it was good went back for seconds wasn't as good as the first time like it's a buffet so there's expected to be inconsistencies. The desserts were OK. I enjoyed the ice cream tons of different flavors but the baked goods I wish there was brownies. There was some brownies and the cream cookies were just like I would go back to give it another chance maybe try some of the things a bit fresh but overall, the experience was cool.

For the most part, I liked this spot for the variety of dishes and the unexpected cleanliness at an Asian buffet! There is everything from broccoli beef , short ribs to soft shell crab which was my favorite and pizza for the kiddos. There is a coffee machine , a milk tea machine and i swear it's Thrifty Ice cream for self serve and a chocolate fountain ! Definitely family friendly. There is a Mongolian BBQ option as well , you dont see that in Vegas. Come here with the fam for all the selections.

I had family visiting from out of town, so we went to Hollywood and Highland to look at the Hollywood stars. After that, everyone was hungry, and my uncle wanted to eat at a buffet, so he suggested this place. We walked in, and once we paid, they asked what we wanted to drink, and we went to find a table. The place is pretty big with enough tables for larger groups, but you can't move the tables, so we had to sit at different tables to fit everyone. The buffet is like any other buffet where you grab a plate and serve yourself. They had a lot of seafood items, including sushi. I didn't get to try the sushi because I was super full, but my sister said the sushi was pretty good considering it was a buffet. The rest of the buffet includes Chinese food and a Mongolian BBQ station where they prepare the food for you. They also had a boba drink station, which was pretty cool! The chocolate fountain was also a hit with all the kids! The food that I tried was pretty good, and it tasted fresh. Now for the service. Unfortunately, the service was just okay. For some reason, when I asked for extra utensils, the waitress seemed bothered and said I should have some on my table, but I didn't, so she brought out 5 forks, and I only needed one. Also, one of the other waiters didn't seem friendly at all and was almost upset when I asked him for my son's drink. Even with the service not meeting my expectations, I would go back for the food since everyone else also loved it.

Honestly very upset, I was looking forward to the oysters just to find out they wont be having any till who knows when because they don't even know. False advertisement and a bit pricey. A lot of the "hot" foods were mostly cold. Service was okay, they aren't as attentive as I was hoping but again it is a buffet. Sodas were also flat and warm. I will say that the workers are nice and will help if asked. Overall not sure if my family and I will come back again.

For a buffet that's ~$35 per person on a weekend, I think you get a reasonably clean place with a wide array of options and free parking (which was so nice). My mom and I came here for a relative's birthday dinner and we were seated in a separate area next to the main room. They have sushi, dim sum, a Mongolian BBQ station, and more. The desserts had a good variety as well, with a chocolate fountain being the crowning jewel. The food was decent and though some was a bit on the cool side, I didn't have any stomach issues the next day. No tips are expected and there's a 10% service charge on top of the main price (there's a discount for senior citizens). Overall, you come here when you're looking for quantity while minimizing price.

More miles and miles of choices.

I've left six reviews in the past and I have to say that this place gets better and better! It never fails to deliver. I cannot believe their rating is what it is, as we find this restaurant to be an amazing entity. Now they are including boba drinks in the normal meal tab; now how terrific is that - and of course, a wide range of coffee choices are also included. As ever, the shear range of choices is mind-blowing. FYI: we start with sushi dishes and graduate to hot dumplings, fish and other hot dishes. For desert there are yummy pastries, fresh fruit and the ever popular chocolate fountain, not tho mention a large variety of ice cream and toppings.

    No tips!

30-11-25-18:00-There were noticeable less cars in the lot. Strange for a Sunday. Well, I quickly discovered why? They have these weird signs posted all over the place saying "No tip required". I thought, "That's strange". Then I saw other signs saying "10% Mandatory service fee imposed". What the heck is that?! So, 3 people came to $101!! The food quality has really gone down. Many item dried up sitting around. Unfortunately, we used to love this place but, won't be back. We'll go to the other place in Montebello. I don't recommend this place at all!!

Whenever I visit K-town, I try to go back to this buffet place. The lunch price went up $24-$28 (automatically includes a refillable drink). They've been having issues with people leaving without paying, so you must pay before you get a table. This place is enormous. Parking is FREE! They have a decent selection of food and a fresh grill option in the back. Service is quick. Workers always walk around to remove plates when you are done or refill drinks. For the price, I'd say it's pretty decent. The tasty buffet will fill you up for the rest of the day.

This place was okay. I thought they would have more options and they didn't even have cream cheese wontons. Came here before a dj event and was really hungry. It's not the best buffet that I been to but not the worst.

When we walked in we didn't notice the signs on the wall if you don't pay attention you will miss the notice as you walk in. The 10% is to help the owner offset gratuity and healthcare for the employees so you have no choice but to pay it even if you didn't see the posting on the wall. They also have a sign to say a tip is not required because of the service fee.

With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.

The seafood buffet is only available on Saturdays so my suggestion is to make reservations because it's going to be busy from the time they open until the time they close. The best part of the sushi bar is getting the hand made rolls. I wasn't a fan of the prepared sushi rolls. Neither of us were. There was so many other dishes of seafood if you preferred, too. My group's table was near this area, and the sound of silverware and plates being dumped and loaded into bins and carts reoccurred every few minutes and interrupted conversations. I will split up the food into two parts, seafood and everything else. Seafood- I do not eat seafood, so I took my family's word for it. They were very satisfied with the crab legs and the crawfish. They said it was worth the 40 dollars and they filled their bellies with multiple plates. My girlfriend said the shrimp did not taste good or fresh. All of the other food- i tried most of the other items, but I honestly only enjoyed one row of selection: the stir fry area. This included chow mein, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and black pepper beef. This was the most flavorful and fresh set of flavors I experience during. My dinner. Also, the chicken wings were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they needed sauce. Fuji buffet offers quite a few sauces, but none paired well with the wings. Also the restaurant provided 4 giant bottles of sauce, but they were not all labeled and they were admittedly dirty on the outside. In short- they were slippery to the point where they slide out of my grip. Also, the bottles had sauce dripping outside of them and needed to be clean. So, I decided to pass on them. The desert area was nice, but the items did not feel or taste fresh. The cream puffs were soggy and the tiramisu fell flat. I love the parsley salad, cabbage, roasted vegetables, the vegetable soup, and all the onions/tomatoes they have in some of the dishes on the buffet line. I LOVE rice (wow what a surprise) but here? It's such an afterthought for me. I will gladly eat all the roasted chicken, lamb shank, kofta, etc. with all the salads and veggies. It's the healthiest buffet I've ever been to. Sure, I might finish with a few bites of rice or a falafel or two, but I always leave here feeling healthy which is crazy to say after eating a buffet. No one is getting fat off vegetables and braised lamb and chicken. Well, maybe if you eat enough of the fried chicken (which is great by the way). I'm really bummed the Anaheim Hills location closed down, but I have no problems driving over here instead! I think after my next visit I'll finally get $15 off lmao. I told you I come here way too much.

Yesterday...having spent around $100.00 on a beef tongue bowl and a Kobe Hamari Skirt Steak Bowl at…read morethe Red Rock Izakaya in Arcadia Mall. I really began thinking, did I get any real value out of it...and no matter how I thought about it, I felt the end result was I overpaid for two entrees. Food was good, not exceptional, but it didn't match the price. And so today, before setting out on my rig for Oakley California, Ive decided to come back to one of San Gabriel Valley's most jam packed buffetts, and see what's changed. You walk in, there's a wait list, and on a weekday, seats filled with seniors amongst seniors, a sea of half bald Asian heads and grey hair. All I can say is, this place checks every box on a diner's list looking for true cost savings and a diverse array of dishes. The seniors have voted. The hibachi stall offering steaks, pork chops, pork bellies , Shrimp to be honest taste no less better than what Red Rock was trying to do with its grilled steaks. The sushi here is surprisingly fresh and Trumps Luxe Buffett in Ontario in terms of food freshness. They have an entire dim sum bar for brunch goers and the overall hot food bar I give it a 7/10 while giving the Cold Fruits and Desserts Bars a 9/10. Have no idea what to eat for lunch? Exactly why I walked in here today.

I was going to write an extensive review of our completely subpar experience, but it's enough to…read moresay this place is terrible, and you are doing yourself a huge favor by going anywhere but here. The food is below mediocre. The drinks are watered down. The service is non-existent. (I know it's a buffet, but they're still supposed to bring you the initial drink that you order when getting seated, and also regularly clear your table of dirty plates -- neither of those happened.) The serving stations are dirty. Other diners have little regard for cleanliness or the decency not to mix serving tongs or ice cream scoopers. About the only neutral thing you can count on here is the jello - because no one can mess up jello.
