$17... didn't put the broth in. It's good but not $17 worth.

The fact that WE the consumer have to pay for EVERY SINGLE INGREDIENT is ridiculous. You might as well go to the store and make it yourself, plenty of videos on how to make homemade ramen. Every time I go here to give it another chance there's always something that turns me away and I have to drive to highland. This place is very loud a it doesn't need to be (every time I've gone at night). I'm the only saving grace for this place is that they are 24/7 but that came with a cost.

Super good ramen place, open late which is super helpful. Only downside is it's on the expensive side. They charge you for EVERYTHING, greens, eggs, mushrooms, bamboo, anything. The Chaus is my favorite though, the torch it or grill it and tastes super good

This ramen spot is located in the same complex as a grocery store, so there's amble parking. It was pretty poppin for a Friday night, which is understandable considering temperatures are dropping. First thing to note here is that seeing is first come first serve. Meaning, you can order, but finding a table is basically on you and your party. My bf and I ate in the car for the first five minutes (lol) until one of the servers waved us down to let us know the bar had seats available. The ramen is really good and flavorful. The spicy level really is "just right". The edamame was way too salty. I had to dip it in my broth to take some of the salt off. Overall, a decent ramen place. But I personally wouldn't want to come when it's busy and hold my bowl of ramen waiting for a table to clear.

This local hidden gem is so So So goood !!! Stopped by when it was raining and got a few apps & ramen. Everything came out fresh and hot and flavorful with phenomenal quality customer service . Super busy restaurant no matter the day you come it's always worth the wait.

I can see why this place has so many reviews with such a hight rating. Came in last night and I would have to say it's going to be my top local ramen place going forward. Service was great and food was amazing. My wife and I got the tonkatsu base with yellow models, pork chashu (I wanted the ox tail but it was sold out) with wood ear mushroom and just right spice. The broth was flavorful without any oil or greasiness to it. Temperature was perfect for slurping. Noodles were cooked perfectly with just a slight chew to them. Chashu was the real star for me. It had great flavor and texture. Not too porky and a great crispiness to finish it off. Highly recommend for that authentic ramen flavor and vibe.

Well... once again messed up on my takeout order tonight. Since the phone doesn't work I feel like I needed to leave it here. It wasn't the cashiers fault cooks forgot. I refuse to go back out tonight to fix and let them know. I hate to leave this as a one star review because Customer Service with Cashier was excellent. But I would like my review to be knowledged and hopefully get a phone line to go thru to that location to take care of this type of stuff.

You order first then find a seat. If it is busy you may have trouble finding somewhere to sit but they also have a couple of seating spots outside. The staff was friendly and they are quick with cleaning up after someone leaves. The ramen I liked the flavor for the Tonkatsu and the "just right" spice lever really is perfect not too bad but the perfect kick. Only downside was that the ramen was kind of undercooked it was like stick all stuck together which threw us off and we kind of just had to wiggle it and wait for it to finish cooking. Not really the most ideal thing ,you kind of want your food ready but it wasn't the worst thing that could happen. Overall the experience was good besides the ramen being stuck together. I would come back and give it another try to see if maybe it just was a rushed batch.

This visit was muchhhh better! (Last time I got really chewy pork belly) BUT Donovan really put passion and flavor into our meals, you can so tell when someone is not only great at their job but also enjoys it. HUGE shout out to him!

First time here and it was so good. Food was quick, service was attentive, and the cooks knew what they were doing. The flavor of the Niku broth was amazing. Loved the vibe here.

    $23 tonkontsu ramen

Pay $23 for a bowl of Ramen as you can see in the picture there's hardly any soup in it. This place used to be really good now it's just a disappointment. Don't think I'll be coming back.

Their ramen was so good. I usually like some spice, and most places have spice levels where I have to choose a spicier option to get some spice. But here I'll have to remember that their 'spicy' option is actually quite spicy. Nonetheless, the broth was amazing and so was the meat. Service was great and the ambience was just right.

Ask the Community - Kaz Ramen

Yelp says they are open 24/7 but are they? I came by Tuesday morning at 7 am and the door was locked and there was nobody inside. Have they updated their hours?

    Do they charge gratuity?

No. However, you should be leaving a tip for the service.

    Can you dine inside?

Yes, they have inside seating only as if 3/2022

Is this place still open? I work in the area and every time I drive by they're closed.

    Open

Does it have new owners ? I'm a little confused what happened today I went order .. it's not 24 hrs anymore bad they didn't have any fried rice?

Is it open ? I've been in person and it looks closed 3 days in a row now can someone update the yelp or answer the phone please !

Hello, Kaz Ramen is open 5pm-10pm Thursday-Monday.… Read more

    Are they open now?

    Yes

I don't even wanna order, i just have a question bro. Why doesn't anyone answer the phone?

The music is probably too loud to hear the phone ring!

Why doesn't the restaurant answer the phone if the have one? It's impossible to call an order in and online (according to one of the staff members) they just set the wait time to 2hours even if that's not the real wait time.

    Are dogs allowed outside?

I'm not completely sure but I would think so since their outside seating area is just the sidewalk and parking lot of the restaurant/shopping center

Outdoor dining is closed.? Or is it open now?

According to their Instagram there is only take out at this time

    What are the hours now?

24/7 for pick up . No they don't answer their phone. And no patio eating as of right now

Does anyone know if this place is still 24 hours and dine outside . I've called but they don't answer?

    They don't answer

Do you not have working phones? Why put that you have take out then?

They rely on apps For take out. They're always busy when I go so no one really can pick up the phones

Been craving kaz ramen for such a long time but I'm on the keto diet so I wanted to know do they have keto ramen?

If you look at the menu they offer konjac noodles which is low carb, can't say anything about their broth and seasoning though.

Why dont they answer phone calls?

They literally never answer! I've been eating here for years and I think they have only answered my calls about 3 times. This is a continuous issue!

    Are they still open?

Kaz is open with outdoor seating

What r your new hours of operation now? Not 24 hours anymore?

Just asked and they're still open 24 hours with outdoor dining

    Open for dine-in?

Yes but you may want to call as it is limited seating and appears they are trying their best to social distance between parties

Are you guys open for dine in now?

According to their Instagram they're only taking take out orders

My girlfriend and I come here fairly often because it's a convenient place to eat after work, and we've generally enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our last three visits have been disappointing due to missing items we paid for and poor customer service. Today, my girlfriend, her little sister, and I ordered three ramen bowls. My girlfriend is vegetarian and cannot eat meat because it makes her sick. She ordered the vegan ramen with extra noodles and requested that the toppings be served on the side, as I usually eat them. The second bowl was a Shio ramen with grilled chicken, and my bowl came out correctly. While waiting for our food, I watched the cook remove the chicken from the Shio ramen and place it into a separate bowl while wearing gloves. When our order was called, my girlfriend's vegan ramen still had the toppings on it despite our request to have them on the side. We politely pointed this out to the employee at the pickup counter and asked if it could be corrected. The employee responded with noticeable attitude, which was frustrating considering we were simply asking for the order to be prepared as requested. The bowl was handed back to the cook, who then removed the toppings by hand while still wearing the same gloves that had been used to handle the chicken. This raised concerns for us about cross-contact, especially given that my girlfriend avoids meat and can become sick from it. Because of that, my girlfriend only took a couple of bites before deciding not to finish her meal. Shortly afterward, she began feeling unwell. While I cannot say for certain what caused it, the situation was concerning and left us disappointed. We have enjoyed eating here in the past, which makes this review difficult to write. However, after multiple visits involving missing items, incorrect orders, poor customer service, and now concerns about food handling, I felt it was important to share our experience.

It's hard to find Indonesian places in the US, though luckily it's a bit more common in California. For ambiance, this is actually a place I prefer to get my food to go. It's a little busy on the weekends when I have time to go, and it's a bit of a tight squeeze inside. Think of like the inside of a gas station or 7/11 with some tables squeezed inside. Not my fave to sit in, but the food is pretty good. I've gotten the Nasi Goreng Ayam (chicken friend rice), Nasi Goreng Kambing (lamb fried rice), Risoles, and Soto Ayam Kuning. Chicken friend rice is def good, especially when you add some of the red sambal they give you (an asian spicy hot sauce), but not totally authentic with how they serve it Indonesian style. The gooeyness of the yolk mixed in the rice is part of what makes it so yummy. But still good the way they make it. Same for the lamb fried rice, but again still good. Just wish it had the over easy egg. Between the two, loved the chicken fried rice more than the lamb. The risoles could have been cooked longer, but I'm basing this off of my Oma's recipes, so maybe I'm being a little biased here. Still very good though - just a bit too wet (if that makes sense) when biting inside. The Soto Ayam Kuning was actually the best. Again, not exactly like my Oma's recipe so I'm a bit biased once again, but it was delicious in its own way. The mix of egg, vermicelli noodles, rice, friend onions, and veggies made it at least reminiscent of my Oma's recipe and it was delicious still even if it wasn't exactly like me Oma's (yes, I get that's a hard thing to reach to). Would def order again. Overall, love this place for some yummy Indonesian food to-go or via DoorDash. Ps. when I'm inside I always buy some Indonesian snacks in the "gas station side" of the restaurant like krupuk (shrimp crackers) and sambal.
