Good quality with everything I had. I do see the issue with too much rice on the sishi and hand rolls. I understand what they mean by the sushi rice being a little dry.... But hands down worth the price offered, and I feel like you receive far more than what you pay for. This isint the place for Los Angeles connisuers looking to judge every cut, this is a great place for solid fresh fish at a great AYCE price. Staff was very nice amd attentive

Camarillo classic, always a solid hitter, good vibes, old school vibes and they offer the all you can eat but this time we did not do that, The garlic bomb was bomb.com Only thing is they switched out their siracha bottle sauce for packets that did not taste the same Service was a little forgetful but very nice

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this AYCE restaurant. We go to get sushi fairly often and was in town to grab a quick dinner. Only made it through one round of AYCE. Sushi of fish to rice ratio was terrible. There was so much rice with small amount of fish. The rice was extremely dry. When confronting the waitress and owner about it, she was upset with us. Her reaction was not a pleasant and tried to put it on us that this is how the proportions are everywhere. We tried to communicate with her and showed her what the sushi looked like, however, she didn't want to reason, gave us an attitude, and insisted in us ordering a 2nd round. Very upsetting experience. Would not recommend going to this restaurant. They don't care about their customers here. If we can put a 0 Star don't recommend, we would.

We've been coming to Fujiya for all you can eat sushi for years. They have a great diverse menu and we love the quality of the fish. Great place to come for special occasions, with friends, etc. The service has always been great and personable, though there can be a small wait on holidays (we went on Valentine's Day one year but expected the wait). The price of all you can eat has steadily risen, now it's around $36 per person, but still the only one in Camarillo. We end up spending around $90 for two people all you can eat plus drinks and tip. The location is small and cute, you can see the sushi makers behind the bar. The bathroom could use an update.

We went here last night. It was pretty good. We didn't do the all you can eat. The main roll I got was okay. Not great but not awful. Their sea urchin was pretty good but maybe a bit too much rice for my taste. All in all pretty good.

Had them for delivery TWICE!!! Always fresh, lots of food and very worth the money! You get more than you paid for. Been inside once to eat, even better with amazing service. This will not disappoint you at all!!

We went with 4 regulars who love this place. We were a party of 7 and our server was super helpful when it came to splitting the check. Everyone in the group did all you can eat so it was simple for them to break it down. The pros: would I go back? Absolutely, and that's probably the most important part. The fish was fresh and all you can eat pricing is an insane deal if you go when you're hungry. The servers were friendly, the music was good and not too loud. Everyone loved their food. I really appreciate the ordering sheet lets you order in rounds. The cons: the bathroom was rough. The servers disappeared for long stretches of time. We ran out of water and soda multiple times. To be fair the place was busy and it was a Saturday evening, but it felt like they needed more staff.

Seems as though Fujiya is under new ownership. Thank goodness! Previous long time owners started utilizing delay tactics which caused us to stop patronizing this place. Only returned due to the recent reviews. Glad we did! Food seems to be about the same but the service is 100% better. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. Give this place a try!

But this afternoon there were a few customers enjoying dine in, while I opted for take out. (I ate outside in the community patio area that is shared with other restaurants) I ordered the lunch A sushi combo. 4 pieces of sushi and a California roll. I was going to get the Alaskan roll, but chose this and was very satisfied. I'll be coming back so I'll get the Alaskan roll next time. For $14.99 I was given a piece of tuna, albacore, salmon and shrimp sushi, along with a California roll. You also got a small miso soup, which was delicious. The fish was fresh tasting and of very good quality. My least favorite was the shrimp piece. Although fresh and presented well I felt the taste was rather bland. Very easy to happen with shrimp sushi. I stay away from it for that reason. Perhaps I'll see if, for an upcharge, I can sub a different piece for it next time. This combo choice for lunch was the perfect amount and very reasonably priced. The sushi chef and server were both very pleasant and welcoming. I found the restaurant and sushi area (open sushi bar) very clean and organized. I would definitely come back.

My favorites are the Chirashi, assorted sashimi salad and various nigiri sushi. It's a small restaurant and can get quite busy during the weekend, so service may be lacking at times. When it's busy I find sitting at the bar is more effective because you can order directly with the sushi chefs.

The drinks alone were worth it to us. The good: Lots of options. Shrimp pasta, mac 'n' cheese, biscuits 'n' gravy, ham, beef tenderloin, sushi, all the breakfast things, salad, fruit, chicken milanese, salmon. A lot of it was overcooked but it's a buffet so whatever. The meh: Put us on the patio in direct sunlight. Asked about a table inside and they said nothing was available. The restaurant was never full and for the entire hour and 14 minutes we were there, I saw two tables that were empty the whole time. There were cobwebs all over the railings and weeds growing out of the planter. The dessert options were terrible. Nobody wants crepes. The pastries were not fresh baked but the macarons and carrot cake were passable. It looked like maybe the owner took the day off because I went two years ago and it was significantly better. At this price point I probably won't go back for the holiday stuff but definitely will continue to go for the regular menu and happy hour.

They were very good at being playing special attention to my niece see picture. My sister-in-law, I both had the valentine dinner menu that started off with a Wagyu croquette and it was to die for it was just absolutely perfect. I don't know what the sauce was but I wish I could've licked the plate. The beet salad that I ordered wasn't my favorite, but it was still very good, but the greatest part of the entire meal was the lobster. I mean in my life I have never had a lobster that good. It was cooked perfectly. The size was abundant everything it was just mouthwatering really good. My SIL said hers was the same. I didn't have any room for the fillet, but I did taste it and it was very good, perfectly medium rare. I brought it home, but my husband got it before I did. Everyone at the table had wonderful food and a wonderful experience. The drinks were fabulous. The only thing, if I was being picky, was that they only offered one dessert and that was the red velvet cake. I should've taken it home to have later, but I'm really not fond of red velvet cake so I passed, my bad. It was probably delicious.

To our surprise, the weekday earlyish dinner experience here was even BETTER than our great first impression in Ventura. The reason? Our stellar server Dan! Dan is if the soothing vocal affect & detail orientedness of Kelsey Grammer's Frasier Crane, + the compassion of Dr. Phil, + the genuine caring of your bff who really gets you all got infused into the body of a tall, tanned, actor-handsome golfer. We joked that Dan could heal anyone's daddy issues bc he was SO perfectly attentive & thoughtful in his details. From helpfully comprehensive explanations of the best of that day's daily fish, to the bringing us CHILLED spoons to eat some of our to-go blueberry cobbler before the ice cream could melt on the drive home, to bringing us new glasses of club soda mid meal - level thoughtfulness. When they say it's the little things, it really means it's all the little things that add up to a big thing. Green flags like crazy. Yep, that's our Dan! Dan was a totally unexpected surprise, but the comfy booth seating, cool decor & awesome food was not. We have come to expect a level of consistent excellence at Lure. This visit further reinforced this impression. Wild Cod Fish & Chips - likely some of the best - lightest & crispiest - cod we have had - ever, & I'm talking in the world (When we told Dan we'd share that dish, he offered to bring it first, so we could share it as an appetizer. Another green flag!) Sally's Sand Dabs - my 2nd time ordering this bc it's so perfect - pineapple slaw is always great & the garlicky spinach was buttery textured, simple, & fantastic Blue Eyed Trevalla - true to Dan's recommendation, a spectacular fish & cooked perfectly House salad - worth a special mention bc it was surprisingly great w/crispy raw corn kernels & a yum balsamic dressing Blueberry Cobbler a la mode - big enough to enjoy w/the ice cream there & also the rest at home later. Chilled spoons should be served with dessert all the time. Add the super easy parking situation to this great experience, & this was as perfect a dinner experience as you could ever have!

We sat down at the oyster bar and noticed a guy working behind the counter who walked past us quite a few times without acknowledging us. My date eventually had to call him over just to ask for menus, water, and silverware, which a waiter finally brought over for us. Looking around, we noticed a lot of new faces, especially behind the grill, which might explain some of the hiccups. For our meal, we ordered the clam chowder and the crab cakes. The chowder was incredibly thick and the flavor was completely different than usual--it just wasn't enjoyable. My date wasn't happy with it either. To the restaurant's credit, our waiter was nice enough to take the chowder off our bill, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the crab cakes didn't fare much better. They tasted very fishy and the flavor was just completely off. This was the first bad experience we've ever had here, so it really stood out compared to what we are used to. We love this place, so we are hoping this was just a temporary setback with a new crew. We will likely try it again in the future and hope it regains its usual excellence!
