First time visit. Ordered the albacore roll, delish. The spicy edamame, great flavor but drenched in oil. My second roll, the caterpillar roll. The menu list, eel roll with avocado. I received a roll woth fried eel and topped with avo. I took a bit and it was terrible. Eel tasted old and like bad fry oil. I told the waiter that the menu didn't say it was fried. I wouldn't have ordered it. I also said it wasn't good. He left, came back and said there was nothing to be done and I'd be billed and they wouldn't replace it. Really? I'd understand if I didn't "like it" but they served me something that was made as described on their menu. Stopped by after getting my nails done today aka right next door. I guess they are famous for their all you can eat sushi? I waited about 30 minutes for my food (after 10-15 of waiting around for someone to take my order) and it had NO flavor. Seems like they use cheap ingredients and don't know how to prepare sushi. Rice was too sweet, fish had no flavor, shrimp tempura was too thick I think the oil had not been changed, and even the soy sauce was bland! How can soy sauce be bland? Go down the street to Sushi Fresh it's way better and they are much faster. Went here for the first time yesterday while trying to find ayce (all you can eat) sushi places around the 805... When you first walk in you aren't greeted unless you click their bell to notify the staff that you have arrived. It took me a couple of minutes for me to notice there was a bell to click.. The decor is very cute although half of their flooring is carpet and hard wood which is interesting design. As for their food, it is priced more on the affordable side but you do get what you pay for. Now i'm not saying their sushi was terrible but for the most part it was not the best.. For the AYCE I ordered their Baked Salmon roll & their Hot Philadelphia roll and as well as some appetizers such as their gyoza, seaweed salad and french fries. Fresh and generous servings. Tempura was excellent. Prices are reasonable and although I'm one for saving paper, they so need to update all you can eat prices on sushi sheet. Oh man... was looking forward to an AYCE sushi spot while we were in the area... we gave this place a try and it was disappointing... we ordered 8 different rolls... 4 of them were spicy rolls and were similar in sauces that was drizzled on top AND soooo much sauce... sushi shouldn't be drenched in sauce... the other half of the rolls all had the same sweet sauce on top too... the honey walnut kind of sauce... way tooo sweet! I couldnt eat more than 4 pieces, just tried a piece from 4 different rolls and felt sick to my stomach... and I still feel gross... The best thing was the agedashi tofu... everything else was just gross... They looked good but it was just way too much stuff/sauce on their rolls... Also, they served everything at once including appetizers, so the food that should have been served hot or warm, was already cold... having them serve the rolls as they're made would be better and having rolls with less sauce would make a huge difference too... it overpowered the flavors of the fish... read more

Friar timer here. Craving some AYCE sushi so wanted to try this place out since there really isn't any AYCE sushi around this area. Upon arrival, we came around 5 pm ish. Wasn't busy at all, was able to get seated right away. They handed us the AYCE menu with a sheet of paper that had all the sushi on it, but was kind of confused on what to do. since our waiter just sat us and walked away. Soon i realized this is how you order. The menu was for photos and descriptions on what was in the sushi. The tuna was amazing. The only complaint I would have is that it's too much rice. The raw oysters were good The udon was blah. to my tasting no flavor and kind of tasted like water. My bf ordered some other roll and that was absolutely not acceptable. The rice was super hard like little pebbles and the salmon tasted weird. We didn't bother sending it back since we were basically just finishing up and ready to head out. Ended up just swallowing it chasing it with water and had to stuff the rest in my bag to toss it out to not get charged for leaving sushi behind . I know really bad. But the waiter only checked up on us twice to see how we were doing and only (wish i remembered the name of that roll or what the name was) came to us to give us our food, dropped it off and walked away. This restaurant is a cute little restaurant with plenty of tv's to watch sports games. Service was great and the employees were really nice. The sushi and shushimi pieces came with a lot of rice. Big downfall in my book. Atleast the udon was amazing! Their AYCE menu also includes off the wall items like chicken nuggets, French fries, soups, poke salad which was nice to have for an option. Food was good, service great but far too much rice for what it's worth. The place could also use a good cleaning. Yummy AYCE sushi!! The food: really good sushi in general but absolutely phenomenal for AYCE! This was my third time here and it was great as usual. Arrived for a reservation at 6pm. We didn't our first plate from our first round of sushi until at least an hour later. The sushi chefs were constantly making to-go order after order, instead of making plates for the restaurant patrons. To-go order people didn't have to wait, the boxes were always ready for them. They were obviously hoping that all you can eat sushi patrons, would get full on water and not order much sushi. Several of the sushi orders were disappointing, tuna nigiri was half the size of sushi meat on top of full size rice ball, sushi cups were also barely filled with a one slice of uni and a slight covering smelt roe at the bottom. Many of the rice balls were nearly pressed together, so they fell apart easily. There were only 5 tables occupied in the restaurant and 2 of the 3 servers were working on Togo orders only. Went to Fujiya for my first time yesterday. This is the spot for all you can eat sushi! The location is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. I prefer family owned restaurants over corporations, so I felt even better about this spot. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is due to the aesthetic of the restaurant. The decor and feel of the restaurant is a little dated, but does not affect the taste of their food. The all you can eat menu has plenty of options to choose from. There are appetizers, salads, sushi rolls, chicken, soup, fried rice, and so much more! So if someone doesn't enjoy fish, they can still eat many things from the menu! There is an extra charge if you don't finish all of the food you order, which is how most all you can eat menus are. This is a good way to eliminate wasted food. If everyone at your table is getting the all you can eat menu, then you can share what you ordered. Great for double dates or just a group of friends! My mom and I finished shopping at the outlets and were hungry for dinner. I have heard about this AYCE sushi spot before so I finally decided we should check it out. We made it for their dinner prices of $24.95 around 9pm. We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Our female server was THE MOST SWEETEST and GENUINE server I've ever met! She had awesome suggestions on what to order and made our dinner very pleasant and fun. There was another male server too and he was just as efficient as our main server. This little spot will always be one of my favorites for AYCE sushi ! It's just so reasonably priced for lunch and the staff is generally always really helpful and friendly. This is the kind of place you want to come to when your beyond starving and sushis on your mind. You basically have three "rounds" to order as much sushi as you can eat, make sure your eyes aren't bigger then your stomach because whatever you don't finish you could end up paying for. Most AYCE sushi places are barley just good enough due to the large portions for a small price but here the sushi is A+, it's the kind of place you'd still come to even if it wasn't all you can eat simply because some of the rolls are really just that good. The two things you've got to try if your stoping by would be 1. The oyster shoots for the 21+ crowd, they are so freakin bomb! I won't say anymore about it just go try it! 2. Eagle eye!!!! I don't like giving negative reviews but Sushi Fujiya has some issues that everyone should know before going. For one, the atmosphere is shabby. You can tell immediately as you walk in the door no love has been put into the decor of the restaurant, they literally have a flat screen TV on top of an ironing board that's on top of cinder blocks, while bumping techno music for some reason. No friendly greeting, with the exception of the teenage server/food runner/bus boys I didn't see anyone on the staff smile. So props to them. Me and my friends wanted to try the all-you-can-eat option cause there's really none around the area anymore. I've been to a lot of sushi bars in the past with an AYCE option, and a lot of them turn out to be complete scams, and Fujiya is no different. Every piece of nigiri had so much sushi rice you could barely taste the fish. Plus the sushi rice was not good, it was very hard, and wasn't sticky so when you try and dip the sushi in soy sauce it just falls apart. I could also tell starch was added to the rice to make it heavier. It's a trick a lot of shady AYCE sushi bars use to make customers fuller off rice. As for the fish, the salmon had a strong fishy smell and taste, which means it was a low quality fish. The tuna was very low quality, light pink, zero taste. I'm not even gunna start on the Uni. All the food we had looked like it was from a sushi chef that hates his job. Very sloppy, very sad, zero passion. To top it off, what I assume was the manager or owner came up and basically said they weren't going to make the rest of our first round (you get 3 rounds) until we finished what they already brought out, there was only a few pieces so we were confused why she felt the need to do that. We told the lady to just make a few more pieces from our first round and forget the rest of our order so we could just pay the bill and leave. Everything we needed to know about this place was clear enough. Even the family sitting next to us said out loud as they were leaving "don't bother saying bye, they don't care." Wow. It's unfortunate but I can't recommend Fujiya to anyone. If you're on a budget there are a lot of other options around. Shabby atmosphere, unfriendly "management", low quality fish, and if you can't make sushi rice you really shouldn't be a sushi bar. Out of the 15-20 items I tried not one of them made me say "that's really good, I want more", not one. I'm actually surprised how bad this place is. I suppose maybe the quality level gets better if you don't get the AYCE option but from this first experience I'd rather go back to Take 5 next door and have a beer before I ever come back to Sushi Fujiya. I'm leaving 2 stars because of the two friendly teen servers/food runners. One for each of them. The chef and the manager/owner whoever she was, need to change their attitudes and put some pride into their restaurant or fire themselves. read more

I don't recommend to get basic rolls like California and spicy tuna roll they did not taste fresh. The other specialty rolls I ordered were great though. I am in love with this place! My husband and I went on a whim for a date night, and it was a wonderful experience. From the outside the place doesn't look like much and you may easily worry with the appearance. However, once you get inside you're greeted to a Japanese style Izakaya look. Korean, American, and Japanese can be heard whilst you get seated and staff was very friendly and helpful. There are specials listed for the day on boards around the shop, which makes it helpful when you're doing the AYCE versus the a la carte. My husband and I did the AYCE, which is three rounds, everything was great and I highly recommend that if you're new to AYCE sushi. Be careful on buying deep fried sushi, because those fill you up quick and there's a no food waste policy. I recommend this place for date nights or family outings, as there's a section on the AYCE that kids or picky eaters can enjoy such as fried chicken and French fries. Soooooo good, was going in medium hunger with the boys, we all got all you can eat first round started super heavy with 9 rolls to share with us, without a doubt the Golden Philadelphia and golden California rolls were so awesome and wasn't expecting it to be that good. Both are fried rolls and they were just awesome. Our roll count at the end of the night was 3 rounds with 25 rolls between the 4 of us..... just amazing deserve more attention and nice workers. Someone like me has a love/hate relationship with sushi because of money, but this place makes me feel good about coming here. 25$ all you can eat for pretty good sushi is O.K. with me, and it honestly shouldn't get too much cheaper than that.
