1/21/26 update. I had a great early dinner last Thursday as a belated birthday dinner with my first next door neighbor as a married person. Our server was lovely, engaging, very professional, and attentive as well as beyond sweet! The dishes are consistently goody, and everything we ordered was delicious. My dear friend hadn't eaten here before and she was impressed with the quality of the dishes and the freshness of each item. We enjoyed speing rolls, wonton soup, I got my go to dish of red chicken curry with brown rice and Karen got a different dish from the lunch menu. She loved it. I think their lunch menu is available until 3:00 every day (maybe not Sunday) and we arrived at 2:30. The lunch meals are a great value! To end our two hours here, Vivian gave me a free dessert which was cheesecake which was offered with or without chocolate topping. I thanked them and took it home for the Hubs who loves sweets. Thanks Fulin's for providing consistent dishes with something for everyone in a peaceful atmosphere great to spend hours with friends and never feeling rushed! This is a mid level Chinese place with higher level prices. Pork dumplings - tasted exactly like the frozen ones I eat often at home. Chicken on a stick - had an odd and slightly off putting taste. It also took forever to make. Not what one would expect when you order a chicken on a stick. Sushi Diner - A complete miss. The sushi roll was oversized. The sushi rice was off, it wasn't sticky and the wrong grain, the fish was cut wrong. Every piece except the eel, was tough and stringy. The sweet and sour pork was decent but a few pieces, the chicken looked like it had been cut with a butter knife. The food took ages to make. The waitress kept apologizing and saying that the guy making the sushi was struggling. He couldn't get the rolls right. Her words and we saw the evidence in the delivered product. Maybe we went on an off night? But the ratings for this place did not match what we got. read more

We stopped by Fulin's Asian Cuisine today about 12:45. The restaurant was 50%full. It was dark inside. I had trouble reading the menu. We looked at the menu and decided to place a to go order. I had the chicken lettuce wrap, hubs had a chicken, beef and shrimp lunch special with brown rice and a spring roll and a large order of wonton soup. Our foods were prepared quickly and brought out to us. When we arrived home, our foods were still pretty hot. My chicken lettuce cups were excellent. The dish was not too salty. Hubs lunch special was great he said. I didn't try his food because I do not care for shrimp. He said his food was not salty. He enjoyed his spring roll and the wonton soup. This is my favorite spot for Asian food in Madison. The prices are better than at Four Leaves and the quality is just as good. We have both dined in and had take out, every time has been consistently excellent. The place is clean and has an intimate atmosphere. Service is on point and fast. Highly recommend! read more

My wife loves the spicy crab roll. It was just what she expected. The service was okay. We have been to about 4 different Fulin's and I usually get the general Tsos chicken, this location was not as good as the others. Not bad but just not as good. read more

I had uber eats deliver Fulin's Asian Cuisine in Madison, AL and unfortunately had a very bad experience. After my meal, my husband and I became sick with symptoms of food poisoning. The illness started not long after eating food from there and was severe enough that I felt like I needed to report it to the health Dept. , of course uber eats refunded my money. For the last 10 years (except last year when they were closed) we have had Fulins on Christmas Eve. But traditions end. I understand busy, but poor planning is no excuse. Arrived around 5:45pm and was told it would be 30 min wait. Not unusual for the 25th. After 20 min, I went to check and no one was being seated. We were told that the kitchen was backed up so they weren't seating anyone. 30 min later, the hosts said the owner told them not to seat anyone for another 30-40 min because the kitchen was backed up with to-go orders. With 20+ people who have been waiting here for 45-60 min already and over half the tables empty for the last 1/2 hour. While still taking to-go orders. I only know any of this because I was stuck standing next to the host station for an hour. No communication otherwise. Prioritizing to-go orders while leaving customers standing is poor business. Grabbed carry out from here for lunch today because I wanted to try a new place. I placed my order through their online ordering system, which is convenient but not super user-friendly, in my opinion. I figured it out quickly enough, but it was a bit of a process. My food was ready when I arrived and the hostess and bartender that directed me and passed my food off to me were both quite pleasant. We ordered General Tso's chicken and curry chicken. The General Tso's got super mushy on the way home, steaming in its container, but I don't really hold that against them. It was generic but had an okay flavor. Wish there had been some more veggies. Unfortunately, the curry chicken was a monumental let-down. I chose it because I'd seen so many positive reviews of what people described as "red curry chicken." When I placed my order, this was the only curry dish on the menu, labeled "curry chicken," so I figured the red was just a descriptor given by readers and that's what I'd come home with. Not so; I don't know if the red curry was taken off the menu or if I didn't see it somehow or what, but I was given chicken in a distinctly greenish colored curry. Okay, no problem, user error on my part, I suppose, and I like green curry too so this is fine. Well...it would've been...except my meal was so, so, so, SO bland. I don't think I've ever had bland curry in my life until now, but this one was. The curry itself was also on the thin side, the chicken was chewy, and the bell peppers weren't cooked enough for my preference. My main complaint is the total lack of flavor, though. Wow. No spice, no saltiness, very minimal sweetness, just a touch of herbs but only in an aromatic way. All in all, a very disappointing shame. read more

Excellent food! A wonderful array of Chinese and Japanese dishes. The sushi is very good. Ordered for the first time on Mother's Day and we've been back half a dozen times since. The honey walnut shrimp is my favorite. They use large shrimp that are crisp and served with perfectly sweetened sauce. Excited for my next trip, maybe I'll try something new. read more

Our orders were prepared fresh and packed securely all during the pandemic. For pick up, non pandemic, menu items freshly prepared and packaged also securely. I hope they can prepare brown rice also. I'm having a hard time down here because some two years ago my wife and myself relocated down here from Chicago. Your talking about a place were there's thousand of restaurants, mucho competition. If your mo good you don't make it past a year or two. Down here people really don't know what good food is and they're being served slop, and they're liking it. We have eaten here numerous times since they opened years ago. The quality is barely comparable to was it was back then. We can start with the iced tea that was almost as clear as the water. Some at out table sent it back and ordered a soda, which had no carbonation. We ordered edamame, after eating almost all of it, we noticed a dried up chunk (nickel sized) of chicken stuck to the bowl. They did take the appetizer off our bill. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, which comes with mixed veggies under the chicken. Some of my mixed veggies were cold and some were too hot to eat, which leads me to believe that they were poorly microwaved before being served. The chicken was tasteless even though it was in a sauce. This used to be a top notched restaurant that we frequented a lot, but over the years it has declined, and I'm not sure that we will be back. My first time to eat at Fulin's and it did not disappoint! I had the special, Mongolian beef and coconut shrimp and it was amazing! It had such a good flavor and it was fresh and hot!. We also had the volcano sushi roll it was very good and fresh too. The staff was very friendly and our waitress checked on us quite a bit and kept out water glasses full. We have been to Fullin's many times. Never any complaints about the food, nor the service. I always order draft beer there. We were there a couple weeks back. We were seated where I could see the bar. My glass had a chip along the rim. I sent it back expecting a different glass with fresh pulled beer. The lady, I'm thinking she is the owner, simply poured from the chipped glass into a fresh glass. Very unacceptable! When I had the server take it back the owner and one other server at the bar laughed at my request. I hope they enjoyed their laugh at my expense. Food isn't so great that I can't go somewhere else. Always check your glass rims anywhere you go and ask for a new glass and new drink. Not worth the risk of getting glass into your body. read more

We stopped first at a smaller restaurant but it had only 5 tables and was more for carry out. When we found Fulin's, we knew we found the real deal for Asian food.
