Teriyaki chicken breast with veggies and noodles.
    Aly A.

Friendly service with hot and quick served food make Teriyaki Madness a great stop for quick dinner. We ordered dinners to go, and they were ready in less than five minutes. The dining area is casual, and while small, I would think people rotate in and out quickly. Our food was packaged nice and clean, with no worries of spills in the ride home in their plastic bowls with secure fitting lids, which is a nice touch. My husband had an order of the orange chicken with stir fried veggies and noodles. He liked all of the components separately but said he didn't think the orange chicken and noodles were the best combo, but he said it was his fault and should have ordered it with rice. Overall, it was delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken breast with veggies and noodles and loved every bite! The chicken had perfect char and remained juicy. The vegetable mix contained cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and onion and were cooked without becoming soggy. The sauce they pack with the to go order was perfect to drizzle across the top. I feel like the prices are average but the value is great. The serving was plenty large enough for two meals. I would recommend giving them a try for a quick to go dinner.

The JR steak teriyaki bowl- gross steak was mushy and looked like dog food while the noodles were uneditable. Gross gross gross.

I am very honest when I do my reviews. I do my best to not exaggerate because I don't want false hope. This is my 3 rd time giving this place a try. The 1st time I didn't remember how many things went wrong and how the food tasted so not up to par. The 2nd time I ordered it was just my daughter and I and I thought I remembered good and yummy meal but one bite with my 3rd time today and all the memories of the taste and smells came flooding back. This food is by far one of the worst hibachi fast food places EVER. Our meal was close to $40. We ordered 2 JR meals - 1 chicken breast w fried rice and one steak with noodles minus the veggies on both, we also had 1 reg chicken breast w noodles and veggies. I also ordered a side of fried rice and 2 orders of edamame. So 1/2 JR meals was correct but the chicken was rubbery and flavorless and the JR steak looked like cat food (my 11 yr olds words not mine) and it was less then 1/4 cup of meat. The noodles was dry and rubbery. The REG chicken breast was prepared correctly but chicken was rubbery and cold and noodles where kind of crunchy but still editable. The extra fried rice was more of the dry noodles- so that one was wrong. As as far as the edamame they were not very hot and really puny pods w tiny beans and incredibly salty. I am sorry I don't know if it's the staff or the recipes or maybe a little bit of both but for the price and promises I expect a much better quality and quantity of food. Needless to say my family will never return to this chain again. My only hope is someone reads this and does something to change it or it will not last long in our town. We are a bit of food snobs and don't want to pay for bad food. If I could have given this a zero I would have. Oh I almost forgot when I placed my order it was correct but when I received my email receipt it had extra food added onto it. Not sure if this was an error or a scam. I did call the company and they corrected it. Well they said they did and I should see a refund in the next few business days. I'll be watching for it. If I don't receive it then I will think it's a scam. But for the good of people I hope not.

The fried rice is so good! The original chicken teriyaki is just so good. The smallest size you can order is called a "junior." I love that I could get a small portion since I don't normally eat a whole lot. The Yakisoba is just okay but it tastes better than the other Yakisoba I had. And they have a free teriyaki sauce on the table which is great!

Old chicken katsu and way too much salty cabbage.

The food was old, cold and plain gross. The food was overpriced. I was highly disappointed. Never against

I have to say that the staff is amazingly outstanding:) but the food in my opinion does not do any justice as far as taste, flavor and presentation:( I tried the spicy chicken, a very disappointing experience! The spicy chicken is spicy with no flavor other than lots of sugar, teriyaki and a somehow someone let it burn, because it had a lingering burnt after taste! My husband had teriyaki beef which was over cooked beef loaded with sugar and teriyaki:( the vegetables are advertised as diverse and fresh? Mostly cabbage:( Please cook fresh with flavor

It was very busy for a Thursday and opens at 4:30 for dinner. It's in the Lincoln Mill and entrance is right next to a coffee place, but right up front & easy to find. We ordered the brisket fritters (4 panko crispy balls of chopped brisket mixed with chihuahua cheese blend, topped with Japanese white sauce) & the crispy Brussel sprouts (tossed in hot honey, yuzu & tamari glaze). There were enough brussel sprouts that they could easily be a side for everyone at our table. Both were cooked perfectly & flavors amazing!! For our entrees, our daughter ordered the tempura crab sandwich, my husband the bulgogi cheesesteak, our granddaughter the chicken fingers & Mac & cheese, myself & son-in-law, the brisket burnt ends and the beef tallow fries & the creamy Ginger Serrano coleslaw. We arrived around 12:16 p.m. on Juneteenth and waited only about five minutes for a table of three. Once seated, Ethan provided exceptional service from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, offered thoughtful recommendations, and took the time to answer our questions about the menu. We kicked things off with the Texas Twinkies, served with white queso, queso fresco, serrano peppers, and cilantro. They were a flavorful way to begin the meal and set the tone for what was to come. I ordered the Smoked & Grilled Pork Chops with Beef Tallow Fries and Dr. Up Bushes Baked Beans. The pork chops were thick, juicy, and generously portioned. The fries arrived piping hot with an excellent crispy texture, while the baked beans were my favorite side of the meal. The portions were substantial enough that I took one pork chop home for later. My wife chose the Smoked Beef Burnt Ends with signature upgrades of Elote Crème Corn and Sweet Potato Fries. She loved the burnt ends and commented that the only thing that could have made them better was a little more bulgogi glaze. Both upgraded sides were excellent, especially the perfectly cooked sweet potato fries. Bethany went with the Bulgogi Cheesesteak and upgraded to the Truffle Fries, which were loaded with black truffle Parmesan seasoning, truffle aioli, and white queso. The fries were rich and indulgent, and paired well with the generous cheesesteak. Like the rest of us, she ended up taking home leftovers. The portions here are impressive, the menu is refreshingly creative without losing sight of great barbecue fundamentals, and the service elevated the entire experience. If you're visiting, don't skip the Texas Twinkies, and be prepared to leave with a to-go box.

However, behind this place's humble visuals is one of the most authentic experiences you can have outside of the US. Let's start with my intro on the looks and humble visuals... there is nothing fancy about the space or seating/table, but it is clean/immaculate and very thoughtful about spacing between tables. Other than that, it's clean and functional and very thoughtful as to how it is laid out. The staff is primarily related to the owners of the place (at least when I was there). They are attentive, fast, and efficient at taking your order and getting anything else you want or could need. They are friendly and want you to be comfortable with any dishes you order if you are not familiar with their cuisine. The food is authentic and traditional, and superbly executed. It comes in fairly large serving sizes, but I've never had anything quite like it here in the US. It was perfect in every way I could imagine, whether it was the spicy kimchi pancake, the pickles that accompanied our dishes, or the bibimbap in traditional stoneware that was presented to us. Are we talking about a fancy meal here? Not in the sense of it being white tablecloth or paying through the nose for a decent meal. Is it an excellent meal for an absolutely phenomenal price? ABSOLUTELY!!! I would direct anyone that has a love (or interest) for Korean cuisine to make their way to Haru and allow the experience to wrap them in warmth and comfort, because that is what I felt when I was there and as I departed for the airport to leave Huntsville.
