This was my first visit to this chain and it was good. I got the large teriyaki chicken bowl with brown rice. I liked the vegetables that came with the bowl and the large is enough for two meals. My only complaint would be that you receive one small cup of teriyaki sauce for a regular bowl and for a large. If I had known that, I would've requested an additional but I think they should add it if you upsize or at least mention it to the customer. read more

Customer service was horrible and hinted at physical assault. The young lady working the front counter was the most unpleasant and unprofessional person I have ever encountered in a restaurant. I have eaten at TM for the last 4+ years. We mostly order online and pickup. During my my most recent order pickup, I entered the store and followed the sign to the "Order Here" location. The young lady was wiping tables and I waited for someone to come and assist with my order. The young lady did not make her way to help me until another customer entered the restaurant. And that customer was helped first. When I complained that I was there first, chaos ensued. The young lady was verbally aggressive and refused to refund my money after I decided they didn't need my money based on the service I had received. I was told in front of other customers to get out and that she would drag my ass because being helped 3 seconds after someone else was not a big deal. She also used the F word at least twice. I never cursed and in fact, said several times I was done talking and wanted my money back. I left without a refund. I plan to call corporate relations as well as file a complaint with my credit card company for the charge. read more

Teriyaki Madness is so easy to drive right by. It's on the end of a little strip set back off Highway 72. I had a coupon so decided to try it. It is at the light right across from the credit union, but still, it's easy to miss. You order at a counter from a menu board. You have a choice of a few starters and a variety of beef, chicken, tofu, salmon and veggie bowls. You select the type of rice you want, pay and, after a very short wait, get your food packaged ready to go. (Though you can eat there as they do have indoor seating). I ordered steak teriyaki, orange chicken and spicy chicken bowls. I also ordered a side of Japanese noodles. All of my bowls were "regulars" and came with steamed rice and a veggie mix that was very heavy with cabbage. Three of us shared the meals and had enough left for another dinner. My fave was definitely the orange chicken but everything was good. Each bowl comes with a little cup of extra teriyaki sauce which really amps up the flavor, especially the leftovers. The prices at Teriyaki Madness are very reasonable for the amount of food served. Next time, if I don't have a coupon, I'll probably just get a large bowl for the hubs and I to split. Reading the other review I either got lucky or they have improved immensely!! I ordered a large Teriyaki Chicken bowl with fried rice and vegetables. Paid DoorDash to deliver it and was very happy with my meal. The chicken was plentiful, tender and it had a great taste. The fried rice and vegetables were very good as well. I also ordered the chicken pop stickers and they were excellent. All I can say is that I will definitely be ordering from them again. I look forward to trying the various selections. read more

Friendly service with hot and quick served food make Teriyaki Madness a great stop for quick dinner. We ordered dinners to go, and they were ready in less than five minutes. The dining area is casual, and while small, I would think people rotate in and out quickly. Our food was packaged nice and clean, with no worries of spills in the ride home in their plastic bowls with secure fitting lids, which is a nice touch. My husband had an order of the orange chicken with stir fried veggies and noodles. He liked all of the components separately but said he didn't think the orange chicken and noodles were the best combo, but he said it was his fault and should have ordered it with rice. Overall, it was delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken breast with veggies and noodles and loved every bite! The chicken had perfect char and remained juicy. The vegetable mix contained cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and onion and were cooked without becoming soggy. The sauce they pack with the to go order was perfect to drizzle across the top. My faith has been restored in Teriyaki madness. Since my last visit I've gone vegan. I got the tofu bowl and it was truly amazing. It was piping hot and so yummy. I also have to brag on the cashier. I wish I knew her name because she made my day. There was a couple in front of my husband and I were hard of hearing. She took her customer service to next level. I am very honest when I do my reviews. I do my best to not exaggerate because I don't want false hope. This is my 3 rd time giving this place a try. The 1st time I didn't remember how many things went wrong and how the food tasted so not up to par. The 2nd time I ordered it was just my daughter and I and I thought I remembered good and yummy meal but one bite with my 3rd time today and all the memories of the taste and smells came flooding back. This food is by far one of the worst hibachi fast food places EVER. Our meal was close to $40. We ordered 2 JR meals - 1 chicken breast w fried rice and one steak with noodles minus the veggies on both, we also had 1 reg chicken breast w noodles and veggies. I also ordered a side of fried rice and 2 orders of edamame. So 1/2 JR meals was correct but the chicken was rubbery and flavorless and the JR steak looked like cat food (my 11 yr olds words not mine) and it was less then 1/4 cup of meat. The noodles was dry and rubbery. The REG chicken breast was prepared correctly but chicken was rubbery and cold and noodles where kind of crunchy but still editable. The extra fried rice was more of the dry noodles- so that one was wrong. As as far as the edamame they were not very hot and really puny pods w tiny beans and incredibly salty. I am sorry I don't know if it's the staff or the recipes or maybe a little bit of both but for the price and promises I expect a much better quality and quantity of food. Needless to say my family will never return to this chain again. My only hope is someone reads this and does something to change it or it will not last long in our town. We are a bit of food snobs and don't want to pay for bad food. If I could have given this a zero I would have. Oh I almost forgot when I placed my order it was correct but when I received my email receipt it had extra food added onto it. Not sure if this was an error or a scam. I did call the company and they corrected it. Well they said they did and I should see a refund in the next few business days. I'll be watching for it. First time here and I can't say I was really impressed. Price is way too high for mediocre quality food. Their steak teriyaki could have been so much better if they actually used real steak and not the same garbage strip steak that Subway uses on their steak subs. Service was fast and friendly but food in general was edible but not great. We got the pot stickers which were ok and the tofu with noodles which was also ok. The food and seasoning in general lacks flavor and I found it to be bland for what it was supposed to be. Probably won't go back.If I want teriyaki there's much better options read more

I've been to Teriyaki Madness a few times now. All of my experiences were very good until my latest one. I usually get the chicken teriyaki, noodles and veggies. This last time wasn't anything to brag about. Seemed like the quality of the chicken had changed maybe. The veggies were a bit undercooked as well. My past experiences have been positive. The flavor of the sauce was good, the protein quality was good, and the veggies cooked correctly. Not sure if this was just an off day or what. The fried rice is so good! The original chicken teriyaki is just so good. The smallest size you can order is called a "junior." I love that I could get a small portion since I don't normally eat a whole lot. The Yakisoba is just okay but it tastes better than the other Yakisoba I had. I've come here three times so far and had varying experiences each time. To start with the basics the staff are friendly, the place is clean, and the service is quick. The food is where I have mixed reviews due to the inconsistency in cook. Chicken Katsu: I enjoyed the katsu. The flavor is good but out of the 2 times I've had it was great once and dry the next. Teriyaki Chicken: 3/3 times it's been too dry. The last time I got it it was so dry it was inedible and I had to toss it. Teriyaki Tofu: 2/2 fantastic. It's hands down my favorite item here. The noodle option: 2/3 times it was great, 1/3 it was drenched in so much teriyaki it was inedible and I had to throw it out. We came here tonight because we received a money off coupon in the mail. The promotion was for 20% a dinner over ten dollars. After reviewing their menu, it turns the highest dinner they sell is $9.99, so none of the meals qualify for their discount. Ok, second offer was for a free appetizer, so we ordered the entrée and when we went to pay we were told the coupon required us to buy a spring roll to get the free apprizer. Salmon tasted a little burnt on the outer part but it was cooked perfectly (I think the burned came from the grill that touched the salmon), that's also the reason why I did not give 5 stars. My eight year old son and I tried this new place tonight for the first time. We purchased what is pictured and two drinks. It was $21. The picture is regular chicken teriyaki, noodles, and vegetables. The other is a junior orange chicken, broccoli, and rice. It was pretty good, but I'd compare it to Panda Express. I find them to be very similar. The best part of Teriyaki Madness over Panda Express is the friendliness. The female cashier taking our order was so helpful and nice. The real downfall was how sticky everything was. I requested our table be wiped down because another couple had just gotten up, and it was the only free table. Even after wiping it down, it was sticky. I went to use the restroom, and the floor all the way there was very sticky. Maybe towel and mop water needs to be changed more often. I will probably return, but it will be some time after they have figured everything out. read more

Made my first AND LAST visit to this place on December 12, 2018. Service slow...took over 20 min for a Junior chicken with rice. (Time I arrived was 5:45pm and there was one person in store waiting on his order.) Had to ask for my drink cup when order was finally ready...then lids for cup didn't fit cup...
