We chose to enjoy the outside covered patio because of the beautiful weather. Our server, Katherine, was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. She made our experience truly memorable. And then came Chef Cole Roach, who elevated our dining experience to new heights. His passion for food and creativity shone through as he explained the flexibility of the menu and teased us with the upcoming Lemon Blueberry Ricotta pancakes - a tantalizing treat we can't wait to try on our next visit! As for the food, every dish was a masterpiece. This place went way downhill and fast. I'd avoid and try a different spot. Food is not good and management is awful.

Here is what was great, Flor our server and the cinnamon roll is to die for. The good, the breakfast potatoes and the crème brûlée coffee. The bad, they do not have AC so it's warm and causing a gnat problem. The hostess, you can't tell she's a hostess as she isn't in a name tag or uniform of any sort was not at the hostess stand. We walked in and assumed we seat ourselves. Then she looked at us as if we had committed a sin and rudely said "I seat you, do you have reservations?" I said no and she proceeded to seat us, keep in mind that there were only 4 tables of people eating and the rest of the restaurant as empty. A great place for the girlies from work and I to have a birthday breakfast. My understanding was no one had made a reservation and they still seated our party of 7! I'd say prices are high for the portion sizes, but everything has a freshness and quality to it. I love the menu options, I only fault myself for choosing something as safe as a salad- albeit, one with shrimp and tapenade. Still ended up being just another salad. Stopped by for some brunch but really only wanted a Bloody Mary but the food is so delicious. The French toast are some of the best I've had in SA. We also had the Huevos Diablo and it was very flavorful, we completely finished it, I've never had anything like it. The place is small venue so if you are coming with a party make sure you make a reservation. I ordered the "Chorizo Poblano Hash" and if that sounds like your style then don't question it, just go with it. I was needing some coffee, I wanted to try one of their specialties. I can't have sausage gravy but the fam said it was great. The waitress actually brought me homemade blueberry preserves which were out of this world good. The Lobster Benny I'll probably dream about for months. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were poached perfectly and big was there a long of lobster! I swapped potatoes out for the cheesy grits and they were honestly the best I've ever had. Had a fantastic Sunday Brunch with a good drink selection including mimosa's of course. The food selections are incredible. One word...biscuits. Service was good. Our server was great. Bar service was slow and we were compensated accordingly so they recognized the issue. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Both are decorated well, however the patio needs a good pressure washing. Even the door leading to patio looks a bit dirty. The service area the servers use is faded and possibly old kitchen cases that have been repurposed. Some inexpensive face lifting here would go a long way. I've been wanting to come try this place for a long time for their baked eggs. They change up their recipe every now and then with some compelling options. I ordered their pink hippo eggs, which include Paris baked eggs, spinach, bacon, garlic cream, cheese, and bacon. The focaccia bread was perfection. It is covered in garlic butter and is light and fluffy. They add a lot of garlic to the eggs too and it pairs well with the bread. The dish is very rich. My only complaint is that the bacon was too salty and it had an affect on the dish as I was finishing it. Overall I still enjoyed it though. The service was good too. read more

July 25th around 12:45. Saw it on instagram and decided to come try it out. It's was very busy. Came for the cinnamon roll and was very very disappointed because it had potential, flavor was good but it was almost burnt and oh so very dry. The whole table shook as I tried to cut it up to share with my son. We ended up just eating the center because it was so hard. The place was busy and the last thing you want is for guest to get to know your establishment with your worst products. I may go back in a few weeks to give them a second chance but honestly I may stick to my homemade cinnamon rolls. Hire a host and a buss boy to help get people in and out Yelp is doing reservations but they apparently they aren't getting them at the restaurant so don't bother doing that. Saw an image of the shrimp and grits here on Yelp and the only reason I looked at the menu was to be sure it was still there. It was and was fantastic. My accompanying Harchata White Chocolate Latte did its best to cool my mouth but couldn't quite keep up. The food was delicious and the service was great. Catherine provided a great experience for our party. There was a concern though with their restrooms. The sink was dirty along with toilets. In their defense short staffed that day but cleanliness is HUGE and especially with those restrooms being open to all genders. I would highly consider one for women and the other for men. There should be someone there solely to clean those restrooms as often as possible. Their food was great and I'll post photos below.
