Sunny's is a great place in Boerne to grab brunch. We came by on a Saturday around 12pm and we were imm seated. The inside was warm, but I would imagine that had more to do with the doors constantly opening between the inside dining and patio areas. They did have a couple wall units in place to help cool the temp. The service was good and our waiter was on top of things. You can tell that they are an efficient business. They had plenty of servers on staff and people were always bringing our delicious looking food from the kitchen. The waiter was able to bring me a menu that listed out the allergens, so that I could make my own decisions about which food to order. It was nice in that it listed out the allergens in each item and it provided modifications that could possibly be made to accommodate said allergen. In regards to the actual food, I LOVED my breakfast bagel. It was stuffed with delicious avocado, fresh arugula, bacon and ham. It was quite messy, but a delicious meal nonetheless. I was also quite happy to find that the side of fruit was mainly "good fruit"...aka minimal melon. Absolutely loved this. Overall, a great experience at Sunny's.

The first time I visited Sunny's was around Christmas. I am not fond of brunch food or even American food in general. Since we were in Boerne for a Christmas event we decided to check it out. They had one burger that they don't have on the menu anymore sad! We ordered that and a couple of other things from the appetizer menu. The appetizers were ok but that burger! My mother kept on talking about it until recently my friend and her mom came to visit and we went back to Boerne. Sadly the waitress had to tell the kitchen to make it as close as possible to the one we had the first time still it is absolutely delicious! We got a chicken dish too. My friend and her mom enjoyed their dishes too! The patio seating is so nice! It is right across the river. If you are in Boerne do not miss this restaurant!

Sunny's pancakes. Tiny and disappointing if you order to-go

Last time we ordered to-go, they forgot the syrup and capri sauce. We left a message to make sure they added it. Not only did they forget this time again. They didn't give sweet potato fries, just regular fries with my wife's capri order. My sausage was undercooked and pink on the inside. I'm not looking for parasites. This is just basic type of things you'd think that a restaurant would know. I didn't take a photo and I definitely should have. Please make sure they cook it properly. You don't want parasites related to pork. $15 for 4 tiny pancakes. You can't make this up. When you dine they make sure and give you good sized ones. It's not a deal breaker but since I'm here. It's just completely disappointing. We've had good experiences when we dine in, but taking it to-go is just horrible for the top dollar price you pay.

I was in the Boerne area and Sunny's was highly recommended to me by my friends, So I brought my sister along to try it. They do have indoor and outdoor seating available, but we chose to sit inside due to the rainy weather. The decor inside is very cute, it gave brunch spot. I ordered a hot tiramisu latte to start and it was delightful! It didn't taste bitter, it wasn't overly milky, and it wasn't too sweet. I would drive all the way to Boerne just for that latte again. I ordered the El Jefe Chilaquiles and my sister ordered The Flirt, along with a side of breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. The chilaquiles were good, they gave a good amount of birria and avocado. They also offered the salsa on the side and it was a mild flavor, so I did ask for some hot sauce. Every place does their chilaquiles differently, my preference is to have it cooked in the salsa and to be on the spicier side. My sister's stack of red velvet pancakes (The Flirt) were nice and fluffy. They weren't too sweet and also a good portion size. My sister did wish it at least came with a side, thus why she ordered the extra sides of breakfast potatoes and eggs. We did have a great experience at Sunny's, the staff was kind and the food came out promptly. We are already planning on when to return again to try out the rest of the menu.

I visited this buzzing restaurant as my last stop in town before heading home. They play good music and have a nice selection of pretty much everything they are doing. We were seated right away and even got seated in a prime location on the patio which is a rarity for me. I ordered the El Jefe Chilaquiles even though I just had some earlier in the week at a restaurant in another part of Texas and their version was delicious. I was very happy with the amount of birria you receive in this dish as well. I also added a mango passion fruit mimosa which was pretty tasty. Then, we ordered a Provocado and a Tiramisu Latte. The goodness here kept coming as these were both delicious as well, especially the latte. There are tons of staff, at least in the mornings, so service is really good as they'll check in on your table numerous times. Apparently, I visited at just the right time (about 930am) because I was also able to snag a front parking spot on the curb by the entrance and when I was leaving there was a line of customers, about 20 people, waiting to get in. I couldn't find one thing wrong during my visit, even the restrooms were clean and being maintained. Visiting this restaurant didn't really feel like being in a small hill country town, but maybe that's why the customers love it so much. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Boerne and make it my first breakfast instead of my last before leaving town. Everything just went perfect during my experience; therefore, they are very deserving of my 5 stars.

First time here and the service was great. Started with a mimosa and ordered the Citrus chicken. The ambiance here is amazing. They have a patio area and we chose indoors for today's lunch. We are definitely coming back.

We had a boerne Benedict and regular Benedict, friendly waiter, good food Only negatives are parking and if you sit inside it's very very loud ,

S Southern Hospitality. The jam was a big hit with the hubs.

What a nice place! Hubs ordered the southern hospitality. The berry jam, and sour dough bread was the hit here. I ordered a kids meal with an English muffin and was surprised at the size of the meal. It was very good. Crispy bacon and the English muffin was covered in butter which is great. The service was on point! Our server was very helpful and very sweet, attentive. Enjoy eating here!!

Dined in on a Monday, didnt make reservations; easily seated outside for a party of 5 around 1145 am. Loved the ambiance, waitress was helpful and didnt rush us at all. I enjoyed the tiramisu drink! Thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was just right for my liking. The chicken wrap lacked flavor for me, but I didnt ask for any additional sauce. My husband enjoyed the chilaquiles. My son got the french toast dippers as his meal, and he finished those! That's actually a good idea as an appetizer! Looking forward to coming back and trying other things on the menu!

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Fredericksburg. We joined the waitlist before arriving as this seems to be a very popular place and we were there during valentines. When we arrived there was a 45 minute wait; however, we were lucky to snag two seats at the bar which only has 4 seats. We ordered a glass of wine and my wife had a mimosa ! They have 1 or 2 choices of each type of alcohol and an array of juices for mimosas. We then ordered our food. I ordered the Barria Benny and she had the SCRAM! The food arrived pretty quickly . Food was hot and very flavorful. The Barria Benny was excellent. The meat was tender and flavor filled. The egg poached perfectly and the hollandaise amount was just right. Hate over dine sauce. My wife enjoyed her meal immensely. Eggs scrambled not too hard. Avocado was seasoned and good seasoning . I will comeback next time we are in Boerne or Fredericksburg.

Not big on doing brunch but I loved Sunny's! Great environment and friendly staff. It was a little crowded so be prepared to wait for a table. We just sat at the bar area. I ordered the chilaquiles and an iced ferrero mocha coffee. They did not disappoint! Everything looked good coming out of the kitchen. Cant wait to go back and try something else on the menu. Prices are your average brunch prices. $16-$20 a plate. They have an outside seating area as well. When in the mood for brunching I will definitely be driving out to Boerne for Sunny's.

Not very welcoming but not a big dealbreaker. I honestly wasn't that hungry, which was kind of bad timing because the breakfast menu looked really good. Walking to my table and seeing everyone else's food definitely made me feel like I picked the wrong day not to be starving. I ended up just getting a caramel macchiato, and my niece and I shared a cinnamon roll. The baked goods seemed homemade, which is always nice. Beware The "Pastrami Reuben"…read more I saw that hundreds of people on Yelp had reviewed Cibolo Creek Brewing and overall ratings were over 4 stars. I should have done a bit more reading and looking at the pictures. We stopped in on a mid-afternoon Sunday in early June. First impression upon entering through the front door was confusion. It was not really clear what the process was to order and get a seat. We approached the bar area and then noticed the "order here and seat yourself" signs. Several people came in behind us and so we felt a bit rushed to order. There were several craft beers on tap, but I was told I could not get a flight at the moment. I was able to get a taster, but with all the people behind me waiting to order, I didn't feel I had time to find out more about the beers before committing to a 16oz pour or lose my place in line. Shame on me for not doing my homework. We tried "The BEST Burger" and the "Pastrami Reuben", both with fries and two beers for close to $60 plus tip. The burger wasn't the best. It was sort of "meh". The homemade fries were good. The so-called Reuben was closer to a brisket sandwich than an actual Reuben. The meat was very mesquite-wood-smokey and then appeared to have been fried on a grill (definitely not steamed). It was very chewy despite being thinly sliced and had NONE of the flavor good pastrami has. The menu claims the meat is tri-tip, but tri-tip is known to be a tender cut. The meat on that sandwich was NOT tender. Cibolo Creek Brewery is in a great location (which sort of explains the prices) right next to the Cibolo Creek Trail and River Road Park and they do have a nice covered outdoor seating area with large family-style picnic tables. I may return to sample a few more of their beers and see if there is something I like better on the menu.
