I always love visiting Kerbey Lane Cafe when I am visiting San Antonio. Their service is always friendly and fast. We enjoyed a cloudy in the patio with our pet and enjoyed the environment. Our server was so nice and welcoming. The food was delicious and we were served so fast. Always a plus and never disappointed.

1st visit at Kerbey lane cafe and it was great. We went during their happy hour and they had a great cocktail list. They have a broad menu and a separate menu for gluten friendly options , their most popular dish seems to be the steak frites so I got it and it was amazing I definitely want to return and try the salmon coconut curry. Our server was Penny and she was great and very friendly and helpful with the menu and any questions we had. I'd love to return!

I stopped by the San Antonio location yesterday during the afternoon, and it was the perfect time to go! The place was super empty, which made for a very chill and relaxed vibe. The Highlights * Speedy Service: Since it wasn't crowded, the food came out incredibly fast. * Attentive Staff: The service was great--they really stayed on top of everything, especially with the drink refills. * The Spread: I went with the classic Biscuits, Eggs, Sausage & Gravy--the peppered gravy is exactly the kind of comfort food I was craving. We also had to get the Kerbey Queso (you can't skip the guac and pico) and a side of Deviled Eggs topped with that crispy prosciutto. Why You Should Go If you're looking for that scratch-made, "thoughtfully-sourced" comfort food without the crazy weekend wait times, an afternoon visit is definitely the way to do it. It's a San Antonio staple in the making! #KerbeyLane #SanAntonioEats #SATXFoodie #ComfortFood #KerbeyQueso

I met a friend for lunch here and we were both happy with the ambience, service and food for the most part. I had the harvest chicken with glazed brussel sprouts and thought it was pretty good. I tried different flavors of tea, though, and never found one that was to my liking. Kudos to the waitress who was super patient as I tried to find one that I thought was good. They do give large portions so I had lunch for another day thanks to leftovers. It is actually a very nice looking restaurant and my friend and I both agree we would most likely return.

I was shocked that the SA Kerbey Lane restaurant was so much fancier than the two locations in Austin. The newly renovated modern and clean interior of the restaurant made for a great setting. Our server seemed a little disgruntled that we had a large party but she was very professional throughout the experience. The food was all delicious. Really great flavor for the salmon and brussel sprouts. The pancakes weren't as good as the ones I've had from the Austin Kerbeys but they were still very good. Will definitely be back to try other parts of the menu!

Kerbey Lane was a staple for me throughout my college years in Austin - always reliable and tasty though the wait has gotten significantly longer since then. This Kerbey Lane is by the Rim but it can get a little difficult to find parking/you will probably miss a turn the first time you go. I highly recommend coming in around 10-11 am on Sundays to beat the brunch rush, it gets crazy packed here. Our breakfasts were delicious - I love the classic eggs Benny, my husband originally wanted oatmeal but the breakfast smell made him change his mind to a classic breakfast plate instead. I've always had just breakfast here. I'll need to swing by in the afternoon because the lunch/dinner menu looks interesting. Def a nice place to check out before your shopping trip at the Rim :)

Tuesday evenings is where it's at! Amazing service (ask for Carmen) Chef Victoria ‍ whipped up the steak and frites to perfection (the chimichurri is sooo good) and the wagyu bacon wrapped meatloaf was delicious! We got queso, our 2 mains, and tres leches for only $45 (dinner for two)

The restaurant is very clean and inviting. We went on a Thursday morning, so there was zero wait time. The servers were friendly and quick. The food was overall good, but would not recommend the avocado toast. They also have a variety of coffees and variety of other brunch beverages. We will go again.

The peppermint mocha was heavenly! It was the perfect hot holiday drink while on vacation. The pumpkin French toast was thick, moist, and very pumpkiny. Yum! I always order my bacon extra crispy and they did not disappoint. I love when restaurants have season menus. The fall season is my favorite and I have to take in as much pumpkin spice everything while it lasts. The combination of my breakfast with a holiday peppermint drink was the best! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

I went here for brunch for a friend's birthday. We were seated right away but unfortunately it took us over 30 minutes to order our food. Our server brought us our drinks but then was working the bar and had many other tables besides us. If we had known we should have ordered our food at the same time we ordered our drinks. I tried the Texas Benedict. The steak and eggs were cooked nicely and I liked the queso on top but felt like the ratio to cornbread was off. I feel like this review is skewed for me as it was difficult to enjoy my food after waiting so long to order and then again for our food to come out. Hangry was happening! However the food was tasty. At the end of the meal our server gave us coupons to come back to try dinner. If I come back I'll make sure to order my drink and food at the same time.

We popped in for lunch on Tuesday. It wasn't busy, which was nice, but I took quite a while to receive a welcome greeting and to be seated. It then took a while to have our order taken. Our server Kimberly was so friendly and we appreciated her cheerful attitude. My wife and I got Wagyu bacon cheeseburgers with fries and they were awesome! My son and wife are both gluten free and they had a full gluten free menu, which was nice for our family. Food was wonderful and service was friendly. Very slow service overall.

Nice All Day Cafe near my daughter's house. Always good to find a place you can order quality breakfast food all day long. My daughter had cinnamon roll pancakes with side of eggs & bacon. Very happy with taste and amount, she took half of it home. I had their seasonal steak frites and it was cooked perfectly. We both fell in love with the Parmesan truffle fries that came with it. Definitely get your moneys worth as our bill was under $20/person. A place we'll return too. (only reason they didn't get 5 stars is our server was nice, but slow to refill drinks & bring check.)

Never a bad meal. The chumps giving less than 4-star reviews must be hungover or upset about the traffic around it (which is warranted). Comfort food but with a blend of unique ingredients like Mac n cheese with green chile sauce or the Howdy Burger with Waygu beef patties, BBQ sauce, cheddar, cole slaw, and pickled jalapenos. Our last visit had something new-a chai mule cocktail! I was speculative but the drink removed all doubts. Darn good. My waitress was also the bartender with 20 years making cocktails. Highly recommended for those of you who've had everything and are seeking something new. Oh and the music is a plus with recognizable tunes you can hum too.

It was probably our most favorite place that we ate while in San Antonio. The ambiance was great, beautifully decorated restaurant with great service. The cocktails were delicious so we had a few. Y'know it's impossible to find street parking especially on the weekends normally. I had made reservations to meet some friends here for brunch/lunch 1145 am on a Sunday. This place is bigger than it looks! There's seating at the main building, plus a huge outdoor patio seating area, and an entire other building beautifully decorated. The hostess was welcoming and friendly and our server was excellent. We were seated in the other building near the windows. The menu wasn't huge, but just right with a few lunch and brunch items. After debating for a while of what to order, I decided on the Texas Gulf Shrimp plate. Agua Fresca of the day per our server was strawberry pineapple. Our server was able to water mine down slightly- since it was very sweet, but love knowing that it was freshly made. Complimentary chips and salsa always a plus, and we were able to order some spicy salsa to accompany at no charge. My shrimp plate was delicious! 2 skewers of nicely cooked and seasoned shrimp atop salsa with perfectly cooked cilantro rice and a fresh leaf salad. A half slices avocado accompanied my plate. Oh how I love avocados. I thoroughly enjoyed my plate. The chicken al carbon was also a good choice - half a chicken that was juicy, not dry. The avocado toast was beautiful and the pecan salsa was quite interesting. The female performers during our brunch in the room, made it very hard for all of us to have conversations. The volume echoed loudly in the room, so it was very hard to speak and understand each other. Although a great idea, maybe outdoor patio area might be more suitable. Beautiful space, great service, good food.

Both my wife and I ordered breakfast plates--hers was the chorizo and egg and mine, huevos rancheros. The restaurant was empty besides one diner sitting outside with her dog and one family inside which should have been a red flag to stay away. My chorizo and potatoes were cold and my beans were not hot either. This was not like it had cooled down--cold. The ranchero sauce looked bad and all of the food on my plate had no flavor, no seasoning, literally no effort whatsoever. I had a bug crawl across my hand while we were there as well. She had the issue with her plate, food was not even warm. The tortillas were hot and tasted good so that was how I warmed up my food. Our waiter also decided that he would cross the street to go speak to a woman at the little outdoor patio restaurant across the street on the corner. Not kidding, he was there for at least five or ten minutes just talking to her. I have always wanted to try Tito's and wanted something new to us but I guarantee there is no way we will ever go back. We left hungry, disappointed and embarrassed by what we just went through.
