Since I'm remote, I can only agree to it to move forward. 10mins later, got a call from the tech saying, "there are good and bad news! Good news, the unit was indeed completely fine and it's working alright. The unit was slightly "UNPLUGGED" from the outlet and it works perfectly after I plugged it back in. Bad news, the $175 is due. " I appreciate that the "diagnosis" save me hundreds instead of replacing a fully working unit, but I would have thought the first free initial check should have looked at the connection in the first place. Chris and Joe were my techs and gave me excellent service, great feedback and advice to make my lines better for the future and were just good guys. We had to sump dump the fluids first, then the line opening showed up and we snaked from the line to the street and the line to house. They did it twice in both directions to give me that peace of mind. I don't know plumbing and they did show me a picture of what how my connection was configured. I wish I would of asked for that picture. Please send if you see this. I want to make that correction in the future and extend my cleanout about 6 inches in height. Price padding a simple repair, especially when it feels like it's based on the assumption an insurance claim will be filed, isn't a good look. Honest pricing and integrity matter, and in this case, they missed the mark.
