I am new to the McCoy Mills Ford Family as I recently purchased a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. A fastener on my front bumper had fallen off and part of my bumper was loose. I took my car to the service department at McCoy during my lunch to inquire about the repair. Most of the service techs were at lunch and the others were busy on other cars. Joe Green, in his very nice polo shirt, grabbed a tool box, crawled under my car and fixed the problem within 10 minutes so I could avoid waiting for a service tech. I bought my Ford F350 from McCoy Mills ford back in 2003. We were looking at purchasing a Fusion Hybrid so I contacted the dealership and was fortunate to talk to Hanan. I asked a lot of questions and requested pricing with different combinations of options and Hanan answered and researched everything for me. I told her that I thought I was being a pain in the rear but she reassured me that she was there to take care of my needs. The outcome was not good for the dealership because we decided to purchase a car from another manufacture but it was not because of Hanan. After the excellent customer service here I had to write a review. First of all, let me say I went to the Huntington Beach Ford before McCoy Mills for the same faulty clutch issue and had an absolutely horrid experience with the issue unresolved. McCoy Mills has restored my faith in quality service at a Ford dealership. On site each person that helped me was attentive and polite; inquiring about the issues I experienced with my Ford Focus and offering helpful input. They offered up front to get me a rent-a-car with no hassle while my Ford Focus was going to get the faulty clutch replaced. Along with this, I was really surprised to find that when they promised to give me a status update in the evening the same day they actually did call! Furthermore, when I had requested my Focus to be finished a few hours earlier than planned, they had not only agreed, but also called me the morning of when it had finished earlier than I had requested. After the maintenance, McCoy Mills did a follow up call the day after to make sure everything was working properly and that I was satisfied with the visit. It's been a week since the service and my car is driving absolutely smoothly, the janky gear shifting is completely gone and the car still handles well. Absolutely satisfied with this experience. McCoy Mills gets things done and checks to make sure you are satisfied with the service. I will definitely be coming back here for all my future services on my Focus. Great experience! I was looking at getting myself a 2015 Focus ST, but I absolutely needed the Performance Blue. I worked with a dealer local to me, which after saying they have the car and agreed to all the numbers (and ran my credit), they tell me they cannot actually get the car and offered me a higher trim and wouldn't negotiate the price. Using all the information I received, I went to McCoy Mills Ford. It was an inconvenient drive (25 miles), but they almost perfectly matched the price I was quoted at the previous dealer, and on top of that gave me a great deal on the Extended Warranty, cheaper than I was ever quoted from other dealers or expected at all! Joshua was very helpful, and with help from the Sales Manager, the paperwork went smoothly and we were ready to talk to Fianance! It was great that the General Manager came to shake my hand and talk about the car, they all seemed to actually know what they were selling. The finance department was very efficient in getting the paperwork through.. walking in, appraising trade-in, sorting price, test driving, and signing paperwork was all done in as quick as a couple hours! Finally! I've been trying to find a Ford dealer that didn't try to upsell me with un-needed service work for a while. I went to Ford of Orange and got the most blatant attempted upsell you could imagine. It really irked me. McCoy Mills' service writer Arthur gave me the best service I've had in a while. He arranged the rental car which was covered under my extended warranty without me asking. He didn't try to rip me off as I've seen in the past with other dealerships. Nicest auto dealership experience I've ever had. My salesperson was Lawrence. Great guy, no pressure, good conversation, never made you feel awkward the way most car salespeople do. My little daughter was running up and down the hallway and everyone was nice to her. She even walked away with a new stuffed animal (a Carfax fox). I stuck to my budget pretty hard and they never made it feel antagonistic - kind of the opposite, it felt like they were working with me to make it happen. I brought my F150 in here for routine maintenance based on a friends recommendation. This dealership is one of the most uncomfortable places I've ever taken my truck to. The employees seem overworked as I couldn't have even a short conversation with the service associate without then phones constantly ringing and the general chaos going on all around. I was told I would hear back about the progress of the service and if I could get my truck back same day but never heard back. I called several times to check the status and was told my service guy would get back to me which he didn't until the next day. I understand businesses are impacted currently but based on this visit and based on the general appearance of this facility I will go back to the Ford dealer on Beach Blvd in Buena Park as they actually will keep you advised of your car or truck and it's actually a nice dealership. I'd like to give a zero star rating, but that's not an option! I have purchased vehicles from McCoy Mills and have been taking them to McCoy Mills for quite some time now. That has changed! I will not be using them anymore. McCoy Mills has totally screwed me on my current vehicle. I purchased a Mustang convertible out of town because McCoy couldn't get what I wanted. Since the dealer I purchased at is in San Diego, I continued using McCoy for all service. Shortly after I purchased the car, I noticed some problems with the convertible top. Art Bravo was able to get me a new one, the only good thing he has done! I understand that the dealer outsources work such as installing convertible tops, I get it, but apparently, they don't bother to inspect the work when it comes back. First, I find tools inside the side panels of my car, sharp tools! Then I see that the rubber molding around the windows is not properly installed. I take it back to McCoy Mills and they send it back to the shop that installed the top. AGAIN, when it comes back, there is a screwdriver shoved into the seat. Luckily, there were no holes in the leather! Then, the windows were not recalibrated, so they kept rolling down when trying to close them and rubbing against the brand new top, causing the vinyl to begin to tear. Still, the rubber molding looks sh*tty. I bring this up to Art. He re calibrates the windows and proceeds to tell me that the molding looks fine to him. It looks normal. NO. It does not! I have never seen another mustang with the molding hanging below where it should. Art tells me there is nothing he will do about it. Since the new top has been installed, I have had many problems with it but Art tells me there is nothing he can do. Then I start feeling excessive heat from the dash, floor and instrument panel. I take it in once, twice, nothing. I take it in a 3rd time. He is able to duplicate the problem and shows me his paperwork where he wrote down that the heat inside the car got up to 92 degrees. He calls the Ford hotline and they say its normal. I call bullshit on that one. Please, someone tell me how that is normal. Art then tells me he was able to duplicate the problem with another mustang on the lot, yet when I arrive to pick up my car, that mustang is not available and the Ford hotline was not told about this. I proceed to file a lemon claim. Art Bravo completely f*cked me! He wrote NONE of the findings in my paperwork, nor did he EVER give me a copy of my paperwork any time the car was in for service. He always had some bullshit excuse why he couldn't do this or that or why he did the things he did. This is the short version of my story. Because of the lack of information from McCoy Mills, I have lost my lemon law case and am now having to fight this excessive heat issue on my own. Thank you Art Bravo for completely screwing me! Now, because of the problems with the car, the resale value is so low, I can't even sell it and break even! I will never use McCoy Mills again! They cannot be trusted. Stereotypical dealer. They blow smoke up your ass and can't even be honest when the car is still under factory warranty! The very last time I took my car in for service, I had to have the drains cleaned out because there was water pooling up inside the door panels. Once again, they did something so my driver's side window does not work properly, but when I called to tell them about this, I was told I would have to pay my $100 deductible to have this fixed, even though THEY caused it! I will NEVER EVER EVER go back here even if my truck's motor is falling apart and won't get anywhere else. When I went there for a simple oil change, they screwed up and forgot I said I ONLY use FULL synthetic oil on my truck and ended up using PARTIAL synthetic instead. And they wouldn't let me wait near my truck to watch. I'd told the guy at the counter by the waiting room that I was bored in the waiting room and would rather go watch my truck getting worked on, so he told me I CAN'T WATCH (giving me a look like I was crazy for thinking I could do that by the way), but told me I could go to the other waiting room (which was even worse) if I wanted to. I like to see what they're doing to make sure they're not screwing up my car (since many mechanics do horrible things like steal good parts and switch them up for junkyard parts or just make negligent mistakes), and everywhere else I've been they let me watch the mechanics work on my car (until I decided to stick to my friendly, reliable, and HONEST mechanic at Nolan's Auto Center, and they've gained my trust to where I don't feel the need to watch). So being as they wouldn't let me see MY OWN truck makes me wonder what else they were doing with it that they didn't want me watching. They also estimated my wait would be 45 minutes, when I actually waited 2 HOURS. Then when I found out they put the wrong oil after me waiting THAT long and not letting me make sure they weren't screwing around with my truck, I declined their offer to change out the oil to the right kind since I didn't want them putting their filthy hands anywhere NEAR my truck ever again. And after all that, the next day my tire light went on (tire inflation was supposed to be included with the oil change). WORST experience I've EVER had for ANY repairs done to any car and truck and scooter I've ever owned. read more

I asked him to transfer my call to a sales manager. Paul called me, Barbara. I am not Barbara. Paul passed my phone to the sales manager, Jase, who came to the phone lectured me defensively for Paul shouted, "Paul is in finance ..." and Jase did not apologize. I asked Jase why did Paul call me, Barbara? He said, "We had a woman named Barbara this morning calling everyone ..." That demonstrates this dealership has greatly offended Barbara and now offended me. Jase was explosive, shouting and yelling at me and did not let me speak. I could not tolerate such outrageous conduct; my family and I will never buy a Ford car from McCoy & Mills. They have created more enemies than customers according to the reviews. I never like to Yelp when I am angry, that is why when I have a bad experience, I will wait a while to see if the company is even worth the time. After over a month, I decided that this one is. I drove all the way down to McCoy Mills Ford from Los Angeles for a car that I saw on their website. I already had my loan approved through my credit union and I told them so. All I needed was the purchase order so I could go to the bank and get the check cut. I sat for over four hours in the salesperson's office while he helped other people. I missed a friend's baby shower in the time that I sat there. A man came in who didn't even introduce himself, he told me that they can't hold the car for me but they will give me the purchase order and we will basically have to hope that the car is there when we come back. I told them I would go get the check and the insurance, and we made an appointment to return. Salesman said we should call on the way to make sure he can deliver the car personally. I call on my way down and he says, "let me check if the car is still here." I thought he was kidding. Being a sales person, wouldn't you think he would have called me when the car sold, so I wouldn't run all over trying to get everything I needed to pick up a car that wasn't there? If he wanted to retain my business he might have.... Or maybe once I was off the lot, he moved on to the next buyer. He said several times that he didn't want to lose our business over a few dollars, but that's what happened. For all I know, the car sold Sunday afternoon after I left. He never called to say someone was looking at the car, so that I could even have a chance to come down. He never even called after the car was sold, I had to call him. I had to return the check and cancel the loan and reapply which was a total pain. I was insured to drive a car that I did not own, so I had to cancel that too. When I told him what I thought of his customer service he said, "You were warned." Really?! That's all you have to say for yourself? When I told him that I will be posting a yelp review he said, " God forgive your malice intent." First of all, it's malicious!! Second, me trying to warn consumers is not MALICIOUS intent. I wish someone had done it before me so I would not have driven down to Fullerton to find out for myself! No apology for not calling or for the inconvenience that I went through for the car. After a long day of shopping for my 2013 ford fusion, and going through the hoops from 3 dealerships that actually had advertised their car for such a good price and I found out later that they do this just to get you to come in and magically things change and some rebates that they advertised most people won't even qualify for , so basically they used them as a bait to draw the customer in and they start pulling more money out of you, oh boy was I MADDDDD.... I sent an email enquiry and instantly I got a response from Jesse, the internet manager I think.. anyways, he sent me an email with a quote and a nice letter but the price was staright forward without all the FAKE discounts that never existed in the first place. And by doing this I decided to call him and ask questions. And I gotta tell you this.. This place is not your typical car dealership by all meanings. Jesse was straight forward on the price, description of the car in every detail. Very professional honest and after experiencing the hassle I went through with the other scummy dealerships I decided to come down and test drive the car at McCoy Mills. We were greeted like celebrities as we walked in. didn't get 5 salesmen running at us racing to talk to us. Walked in asked for jesse and things went as smooth as it can possibly be. Loved the car , exactly the one I wanted. The best part is that I felt so relaxed and confident that I wasn't being taken advantage of. Got the price with no haggling and no CLOSERS that almost threaten you if you don't buy from them and what a relief.
