Great sandwich shop! It's very close to where I work, and was recommended by two of my coworkers. Workers are very friendly and will text us everyday to let us know the soup of the day. I usually get the veggie sandwich on squaw bread and a pickle. Portions are good and the value is great; a half sandwich, pickle, and canned drink is about $8. Would highly recommend!

Fullerton is a sandwich desert, right? I have been working near downtown for over a year and haven't been able to find a decent (non-chain) sandwich place. If anybody knows of others, please let me know! I've had this place on my radar for awhile, but to be honest, the pics didn't make me want to try it. The sliced bread just didn't appeal to me. I noticed on a pic of their menu (from a few years ago) that a French roll is an option. I decided to give them a shot, and i'm glad I did. I tried the Turkey Delight (turkey, lettuce, cream cheese, cranberry sauce) on a French roll. I am a fan! This is definitely not the best sandwich I have ever had, but it was good enough, and cheap! My sandwich was less than $10, which includes an up-charge for the roll, and also comes with a pickle. The rolls are super basic, you aren't going to get some fancy bread with a nice crunch. But their produce is FRESH and they don't skimp on anything.

Stopped by here for a bite to eat, opted for a pastrami sandwich on a French roll. It was delicious! The sandwich was freshly made with warm soft bread, had perfect amount of pastrami, mustard and pickles. Service was great, and the restaurant was clean had seating inside and outside. No public restrooms available.

A true staple Fullerton gem -- and in my opinion, home of the best veggie sandwich in town -- and I'm not even close to a vegetarian! Chicken cashew, turkey, tuna and any sandwich I've had is assembled with love and with generous toppings. Where else can you get a quality sandwich like this for under 9 bucks AFTER tax in today's economy?! Amazing service and attitude that makes you want to return. Keep up the great work!

This place has been open for over 15 years now according to the oldest Yelp review and I barely just heard about it the other day. I was on the way home from the dentist and had to stop by CVS right across the street to get a prescription and this sandwich place was the first thing that popped up in my Yelp search bar so I had to try it out! Got their honey baked ham with jalapenos on wheat bread. Very simple homemade sandwich but extremely delicious! Each sandwich also comes with a pickle to enjoy on the side. Every single ingredient is so fresh. Prices are fairly cheap and portions will fill up the average human being. I 100% recommend this little hole-in-the-wall if you're on a budget and looking for a simple sandwich. I will definitely be back for the great service and delicious food!

Waldorf chicken salad on squaw bread is the best. Service is excellent. It's a very small deli (for lack of a better word this very moment) place with a few tables and chairs. Most people I noticed come in pick up their lunch and head back to work. They have quite a few customers and because their food is delish.

This is a great place to grab a sandwich. Small, but seating available both inside and outside. The outside seating is covered so on a sunny day it's still comfortable. They have a great variety here in their menu of sandwiches I believe also fresh soups made daily The pricing here is affordable and the service is both pleasant and quick. What's not to like? I apologize for this photo but I was starving and had eaten the majority of this generously portion sandwich. Come and try it for yourselves

I love this place. A small mom and pop shop. I saw a lot of older folks eating there and the retro diner style from the 70s, I had to try it. Their turkey sandwich is amazing. Fresh roasted in house too. Everything was delicious. read more

I have been coming to TC Yummies for YEARS. The sandwiches are so tasty and always fresh! Chicken Waldorf, BLT add Chicken Fillet, and Club Sandwich are my faves! The guys and woman here are always friendly and kind. My entire meal was $14. 10/10 recommend - u live it here read more

Visiting from San Diego, and now I'm sad we don't have one of these near me. This is easily one of the best sandwich spots I've tried. Such a nice small mom and pop shop. The staff are nice and informative, and everything tastes fresh! I got half of the Chicken Waldorf (apples, grapes, walnuts, lettuce, and mayo on their soft sourdough bread is such a good combo. Along with the TC combo, which had various generous slices of deli meats in it. It's affordable and filling, and there's plenty of parking, which is a huge plus. It's also next to other businesses, so it's super convenient for lunch. Plus, they have cookies, chips, and yogurt smoothies, which is such a nice touch. read more

The hype is real! I was a bit disappointed with the inside of the place. The photos online make it look much nicer than it actually is. But the service was great, and the food even better. I went with the cashew chicken salad sandwich on squaw bread. It was as good as advertised. A little too much apple for my taste, so the chicken salad itself isn't the noticeable star, but this sandwich is a winner, as is this place. read more

I frequently stop by here on my lunch, breaks and call in an order only five minutes ahead and it's always ready for pick up. The chicken salad Waldorf sandwich and the Italian are incredible. Great portion sizes and it comes with a pickle! read more

Sandwiches are solid with lots of meat, and really good bread. Also, good prices. On top of this, the owner and workers are super friendly. My boyfriend was splitting a sandwich with me that I already had but ran in to buy some chips. It was close to closing and I think they shut down the credit card system and that's all he had. They said no worries, chips on the house. My boyfriend then came out and asked if I had cash because he felt bad. I did, so I ran in to pay and they again said, no worries. Enjoy! That was just one example but I can tell by the repeat customers that customer care and quality are important. Can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches, we have tried a few now. read more

I loved the squaw bread! I got a Waldorf chicken sandwich. It surprisingly had whole grapes and walnuts. I might prefer them chopped for smaller bites and more evenly distributed. Nonetheless it was a good pairing with dirty jalapeño chips. I called ahead bc I was told a lot of nurses and teachers frequent. I did see some nurses coming through but there was no wait. read more

Solid sandwich shop be very specific what you want on your sandwich they move pretty quick. It pretty general reminds me of the old deli shops without showing the meats recommended the roast beef and egg salad if you're up for it. If you need to grab a quick bite if you are at St.Jude definitely hit it up nothing around the area for solid eats unless you want to eat at the Korean restaurant which is also good right next door. read more

This place has been around for so long - and I recently just visited them when I was in the neighborhood- and the sandwiches were just as amazing as I remembered. This place has great sandwiches, but I'm always a little surprised when the final bill comes up--it's pretty pricey for a sandwich (average $15). Great food but horrible customer service from 1 specific person. I have been going there for years but only for the food and the close location to my place of work. This lady always gives me an attitude even when I have my order ready to give her. Today, my coworker was in front of me ordering her lunch when the silver haired lady came from around the counter to get my order to speed up the line forming behind me. She asked me what I would like, and as usual I ordered the same thing, salad, that was already made but had 3 chips and a drink in my hand as well. When she saw that i had more than one thing to purchase she rolled her eyes and under her breath let out a big sigh. This is the last time I will contribute to her business. read more

My favorite sandwich shop. Portions are huge. Just delicious. My favorite sandwich is the chicken Waldorf on squaw. You can taste the freshness in every bite. It is a bit on the expensive side but totally worth it. I paid $8.53 for a sandwich and a Snapple, not bad if you ask me. That's what you end up paying at McDonald's for frozen fried food. read more
