My 7 year old daughter was recently referred to Fullerton Pediatric Dentistry, by our family dentist. She needed to have "her first" fillings... As a parent, I was nervous, but the dentists at Fullerton Pediatric were Amazing with her! When you walk into their office- it is so kid friendly; colorful murals on the walls, tvs for the kids to watch their favorite shows, and (to my daughters delight) a tower of fun prizes where kids earn a token and receive a prize for doing a good job. Plus the dentists are so patient and kind, and took the time to talk my daughter through each step. She received excellent care. The whole team is phenomenal! Sarah went above and beyond helping me and my son on a Saturday with no appointment. Child Friendly facility with colorful paintings on the walls, TVs in each room with a show on geared towards the littles. My son is so chill when we arrive and listens to the dr when he says open up say aghhhhh. They show them what they will do on their little fingers before they just get in and start drilling. Dr Hong is one of the most professional and talented Dentists in the area. Dr Hong has always been very gentle and considerate with my daughter. Our insurance changed and he is technically out of our network but I refuse to take my daughter to any other Pediatric dentist. All of his staff is also very professional and helpful. The Doctor was semi helpful however I felt like the back office staff was either having a bad day or just overall don't care much about children and there fear for the dentist. So bummed out I was looking forward to my children's dental visit. Only to see the two ladies in the back give each other a judgmental look because of my sons fear to get X-rays. I would totally recommend Dr. Hong to any moms. He was really nice, professional and experienced with young children. My 3 years old son really liked him. The reason why I only gave 3 stars is because of one of lady at the reception desk. When I called to make an appointment, she told me that they accept my insurance. Other places usually check over the phone first, but she scheduled appointment without checking my insurance. After check up with Dr. Hong, she told me that they don't accept my insurance and I will need to pay. I was actually shocked, because I wouldn't have come here if I known that they don't accept my insurance. Then she told me, "It is because your insurance sucks!!" These are exact words she told me. I can't believe person like her works as a receptionist, because she is totally rude, lazy, and unprofessional. There is another lady at the reception desk and I think her name is Mary. She is super nice and polite. When I called her next day, she told me they made a mistake and she will give some credit back. We have been taking our kids to Fullerton Pediatric Dentistry for the last 12 years. I started taking my oldest there when I worked in Fullerton. We still travel from Corona to Fullerton twice a year and it's well worth it! Our kids have seen both Dr. Hong and Dr. Lee and like them both. They do a great job explaining to both parent and child about dental care and have put out any fears when a tooth or two needed to be pulled. I am confident in the advice and care both doctors have offered over the years and as a result, my kids have great teeth. Mary in the front office also deserves a 5-star rating. I started going to Dr. Lee & Dr. Hong 18 years ago after my son had a horrible experience with another dentist. I honestly thought my son was scarred for life. But that was not the case, and I know it's because of how gentle and compassionate Dr Lee & Dr Hong were with him. Dr. Hong is the best! Always on time, super thorough and amazingly kind with our daughter. We drive 45min to see him and worth it. We have overcrowding issues with our daughter and Dr. Hong is patient and not high force with his treatment plan. This is where it's at!!!! Not all pediatric doctors are meant to work with little people but he is the real deal. He gets on my daughter's level and speaks directly to her and answers her questions. We recently moved to Brea, CA and this place was recommended to me by a friend from work after visiting a "family dental" office in Brea where we did not have a good experience. The Brea dental office did not do any cleanings or fluoride for my 2 year old and said my 1 year old was too young to be seen by a dentist!!!! I explained to my friend how I felt and that I didn't know where to take them. She referred me to Fullerton Pediatric Dentistry dentistry and WOW what a difference!!! My kids are ages 1 and 2 and they loved it here! The environment is such a kid friendly vibe and doesn't even feel like you're at the dentist. The staff was wonderful and Dr. Lee was great! He took the time to explain things to me unlike the other dentist in the Brea facility. This place is a farther drive for us but it's worth it! I now understand the difference between a family dental office vs. a pediatric dental office. It's unfortunate that some dentist don't take the time to explain these things to us and if they are not comfortable with children they should tell us these things before they bill us but thank God I found Fullerton pediatric dentistry. read more

Dr. Hong and Sarah are the dynamic duo! My daughter fell and chipped her tooth which became infected towards the end of 2020. We were so stressed about having to go see a dentist during that time as the rise in COVID 19 cases were at an extreme. I did my homework and was fortunate to find Fullerton Pediatric Dentristy. I emailed them early in the morning and within 30 minutes they called me! They made a same day appointment and we were introduced to Dr. Hong. He was so attentive to my daughter and took the time to make her feel comfortable. I was so appreciative of his time and how he went over the X-rays and procedures thoroughly. My daughter is very intuitive and questions all that is being done so I did not know how Dr. Hong was going to be able to perform any type of procedures on her.. but he did. Watching him and Sarah work together was impressive. My daughter was not aware of the shot that was given to her nor did she cry or complain about pain afterwards! Fast forward 6 month later, my daughter had multiple cavities this year and Dr. Hong was able to take care of them all while avoiding anesthesia. I highly recommend Fullerton Pediatric Dentistry to family and friends any chance I get. Everyone we've met there has been professional, polite and empathetic to our needs. We started taking my daughter to Dr. Lee when she was two; at first, she was very nervous and only sat in my lap. But, Dr. Lee was very patient and kind; after a few visits, my daughter was comfortable enough that she had her first cleaning at 3.5 years old. I was so impressed and grateful! Dr. Lee has been the pediatric dentist for my children for approximately 16 years. I was referred to his office by my own dentist for my three children, now ages 14, 17 & 19. The office is very organized and calm and decorated with a kid-friendly decor. The ladies who clean teeth and perform x-rays are so kind and gentle with my children. I especially appreciated that when my kids were young and I wasn't sure how they would react to the procedures. Dr. Lee is good at explaining information to parents as well as to children of all ages. I'm confident of the professional recommendations he gives, and the care my children have received. The receptionist is always kind and efficient about the billing. I actually don't have dental insurance. I have never had any problems with billing or appointment errors. I now receive text reminders for my appointments, - VERY HELPFUL for this busy mom who is trying to keep track of an appointment I made months ago. I highly recommend this office. Both Dr's are great, but, my kids see Dr. Lee because he's always there the days we can go. He is FANTASTIC with kids and make them feel SO at ease.
