My daughter and son had an appointment in June. I got a check in the mail from my insurance company. I called my insurance company to ask why I received a payment, I was informed the dentist was unlicensed at the time when my kids had seen her, so they didn't know who to send the payment to. I called the dentist to figure out what is going on. Receptionist confirmed and retract her statement. I just received a bill from a bill collector under my 7yrs old name. How are you are sending my daughter who is 7 to a bill collector, and trying to ruin her credit. Do better!! read more

They filled a broken front tooth (one was a repair they did on work that had been done poorly by a prior dentist and then later fixing the same broken tooth when my son took a nerf gun to the face. Always service with a smile. My kids and I go here, it's super convenient and they are open on Sat. Dr. Kim has retained the best staff around. Almost always on time to start and end the Appt. I am not the greatest of patients with bad flossing habits but she and her staff always encourages the kids and shows them how to floss and brush properly. My whole family has been going to Kids Corner now for almost 3 years. We chose them based on a glowing recommendation from one of the other families that go there. It has been a fantastic change from our previous dentist, who seemed intent on selling us treatments we didn't need. At Kids Corner we feel they have our best interest in mind. They explain everything very well without feeling like you are receiving a lecture. They have everything kids love including movies, many choices for flavored polish, little toys afterward as rewards, and hand painted theme rooms. My daughter likes going there. As an adult, I enjoy the personal touches of them remembering details from our previous conversations, movies that can enjoy too, digital instant X-rays, and appointments on Saturdays, which was handy when I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled on two separate Saturdays. I want to share what wonderful experiences we have had at Kid's Corner Dental over the years. Years ago we had a referral from a friend after my son was scared of the dentist. The doctors and the staff been kind and extremely professional. They answer questions and make it easy for everyone. They have movies for the kids to watch while having procedures and they do their best to make the kids very comfortable. The doctors share lots of information with you about their dental health and offer options such as sealants as I have a son that was quite prone to cavities before he got them. On our first visit, I explained to the staff how they're scared of past experiences and they took extra time to explain to my boys everything. They're always friendly and very kind. I am a Registered Dental Assistant current employee at Kid's Corner Dental. Working here is such an enjoyable experience the office is so up to date with great technology which in turn makes for a better more comfortable dental visit. Like for example SOLEA it's a dental laser, that allows us to place fillings with out needing local anesthetic and the dental CEREC machine we can make a permanent crown in the office. These are just a couple of examples, I am always learning new things which I really love and appreciate. The patients are so nice and many have ben patients for so many years. The entire staff was inviting and accommodating from the beginning. We had specific requests for our daughter and this staff responded with understanding and professionalism. We most appreciated how thorough and patient Dr. Pat was with us, she kept us informed through every step, letting us know all sides of the treatment options, proceeding with what we were comfortable with and knowing when to postpone treatment. The end results of her treatment were beyond expectations. No complications, no traumatizing pain, no infections. Our daughter doesn't even remember the pain of pulled teeth. On top of this, Dr. Pat was an angel with our daughter, who still professes her love for her dentist daily. Special thanks to Maddie, who is our daughter's other favorite, thank you for your attentiveness and care. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate us. Both Dr. Pat's and Maddie's positive energy vibes were consistent and calming. What we appreciated the most was that everybody (especially Tiffany) was friendly but not fake, professional but not distant, and that they actually listened to us and actually responded helpfully. Tiffany went out of her way to make the paperwork aspect easy. She even color-coded and labelled the details we needed to understand for treatment, and was always very patient and genuine. The best physical aspect of this location is the fact that there are no doors closing the patients and dentists away from parents or other dentists, yet there is still a sense of privacy. The atmosphere is safe, clean, organized, and friendly and it is a relief as a parent to be able to bring back my child for further dental work to a place where the staff has the child's health AND comfort as top priorities. read more

Unfortunately my 4 year old ended up with quite a few cavities. I took him to a children's dentistry and he had a hard time there he wouldn't let them even touch him. So I decided to try a new place. Kids Corner made him very comfortable. Kathy was able to take x rays on him no problem she was great. The day of the service I was very nervous. They gave him the laughing gas to keep him calm. It was over in 15 min with no pain and no drama. Maddie was really good with him and the Dr was fast and efficient. The front office is also ran very well. Not good with children and didn't wait for anestesia to take effect and tried to blame my boy of getting scared after looking at the needle. Reality was he felt the pain because no time was given for sedation to take effect. Then my boy did not want to have cavity removed and then I got lectured how to be a parent. I apologize that this is looooong overdue. I have been with Kids Corner Dental for about 4 years? We came when my son was somewhere between 2.5-3yrs. He was naturally scared and not-so cooperative his first couple of visits, but with anything and with each visit after, was always greeted with friendly staff, and a non-aggressive approach. Going to the dentist is not-so-scary anymore. The clean space, videos, rewards, and warm greetings and kind voices have all played a part in our feeling comfortable. Andrea has been so sweet to my 4 year old daughter. Mariana (not sure if still there) in the beginning would help watch and occupy the kids while I got my work done. I mean, who would help watch your kids? Only Kids Corner does. Jennifer (not sure if still there) and the rest of the team do a great job in following up with you and any concerns. The dental technicians are wonderful. They are all so great and helpful. Dr Karen cleans my yellow teeth so awesome and gently reminds me to keep taking care of my teeth. Dr. Nguyen was fantastic! I had a crown done, which was my most evasive procedure yet, and I felt absolutely no pain. She was great monitoring how I felt all along. The fact that the office can work on you and fit you with a permanent crown all at once is so a big plus! Beats taking unnecessary extra days off work. And of course, Karla who was assisting, and Stephanie n Cindy who work in the front office are always so pleasant and helpful! I won't scare you with my horror stories from my past dentists, but I can tell you that I would have preferred to pull all my teeth out before setting foot in another dentist office again. If it wasn't for Yelp, I wouldn't have found Cottage Dental/Kid's Corner Dental and I probably would've had dentures by the time I turned 40. That's how badly I hated the dentist. I ended up caving in when I had some bad coffee stains on my front teeth and it got to the point where I wasn't smiling anymore. I just knew I was going to go in and they were going to tell me I needed a deep cleaning, root canals, bridges, bleaching, and probably braces (because everyone knows how much a normal dentist tries to upsell you on everything). I was dreading it. So I turned to Yelp and found Cottage Dental. Cottage Dental is located on Chapman Anenue in Fullerton, but I needed to make a Saturday appointment so they scheduled me at their Kid's Corner office, which is on Bastanchury and Brea in Fullerton. From the minute I walked in, I knew it was going to be a good experience. Stephanie, who works the front desk, was friendly and listened to my horror stories and suffered through my anxiety-riddled rant about dentists. She quickly put me at ease and didn't make me feel like I was a horrible person because I hadn't gone to the dentist in 6 years. The staff is so amazingly friendly, you just feel instantly at ease as soon as you get in the chair. I was still nervous about what I would need and I couldn't believe it when they told me a regular cleaning would get rid of the stains, a deep cleaning was not needed, as long as I came back after 4 months instead of 6, and I only had two cavities. Not only did they not upsell me, they worked with me on a payment plan that most dentists would never dream of doing. It's not Care Credit either, although thet do offer that. It's their own payment plan and it's honeslty really affordable. They don't make you feel like you have to do all the work in one sitting either. They schedule you months in advance and allow you to financially plan for the work you need. I could go on and on and on, but I will say that my kids actually LOOK FORWARD to going to the dentist now, I have been vigilant about going every six months for the past 3 years, and I have referred at least 5 different people to them.
