I really like to take my kids here! Its $10 a kid if your local for an all day pass. It's a great place to take them when it's either way too hot to be outside or for like today when it's too cold! The reason I'm giving them 4 instead of 5 stars is the customer service when your buying the wristbands, it isn't the best and you always feel like your bothering them. A shame really, I've worked customer service my whole life and the front desk really plays an impact on customers who will return or not. Located inside of the Gran Sierra hotel. When you need babysitters and want to go to Lex to club or just hit the slots, this place does it. They'll "watch" okay well you pay for them to watch your kids, but honestly you just pay to put them here and no one really watched them. Lol. Seriously, unless you, yourself as the parent or gaurdians is there then your child has supervision. Oh yeah! This might be a nice place to go if you're bored, done with gambling, etc, but be aware that all of their machines might not work properly. Their skeeball lanes had missing balls and only two seemed to have the right about of balls. Of the four basketball games, one had no balls and the other had one flat ball. Other games seemed to be turned off or dinky. Oh and the prizes weren't too appealing either. I'd much rather go back to Circus Circus where I'd have better winnings there read more

After paying tons of money at GSR I took my son to Fun quest! He is a crazy 2 year old! He ripped off his arm band almost immediately after buying it! A associate had the nerv to try and kick us out the toddler area for not having a band on. After showing her the ripped ban she just walked away no apology it anything I already thought $12 was to much for a 2 year old to go down a slide but then to get accused of not paying! We have visited Fun Quest over the years for family vacations. The casino always gets better but Funquest stays exactly the same. They need a major upgrade on this place. All the games are so flashy/bright or old/broken. No one is ever monitoring the kids play area. My kids can play for 2 hours and no employees will come in once. Plus the couches are the worst. Also, please fix your AC! Saturday night, packed with families in the play area. It was so warm my son got a bloody nose. Do dress lightly for this place. There are some fun games and my kids always leave happy. Today there was a young lady at the front counter who was very helpful in a situation with a broken machine. We like the card system but invest in Sharpies so customers can write names on the card. Especially since there is a blank spot for a name. We will probably come back again during summer. Just hope to see Funquest upgraded! read more

It's small and all bunched together in the corner parking lot is the casino but we had fun driving the go carts. It was super hot and no shade while waiting. The guys that are in charge of the cars were really cool they even offered us half off to do the bungy swing...but there was no way in hell we were getting on that contraption lol. read more

Fun Quest is an entertaining place where you can hang out and play arcade games. We all had a nice time, however there were a lot of complaints. The place was kind of small and a lot of the arcade machines were broken. One arcade machine (the one where you stack blocks on top of each other) had many glitches including disappearing blocks and random flashes of blocks that were not placed by the player. Some other games are also a bit touchy, but are still fun. Don't get me wrong, Fun Quest was still very nice, it just wasn't as good as you would expect. read more

We came just for the Laser Tag our family was a party of 4-Genesis took our money and told us that someone just went in and it'll take about 15 mins-easy pease right! We waited on the bench for 10 mins then walked into the empty room! Stood there for about 10 plus minutes then seeing NO ONE in line at the register or laser tag I told her what we did and she said well lied and said I told you you needed to wait in the room. At first I was going to let it go and wait AGAIN!! But I was with three kids and they said that's not fair because she DIDN'T SAY THAT! So I went back and told her normally I wouldn't say anything but you are luring and kids are involve and I hold them accountable for their lies and now we want a refund because of your lies. -Really very calm with No seen and as politely You could explain to a grown up. She didn't say a word except That's fine with a huge smile. No accountability. Sammee helped with the refund and even said she would walk us over there - very pleasant and she apologized for the misunderstanding. (Professional) I thanked her for her help and appreciated her. I hope one day Genesis learns that it's okay to make a mistake and OWN it! I do not typically go to arcades, as I don't have children. However a group of us adults and 1, 5 year old went to Funquest. We played Laser Tag, and had an epic time. We laughed so hard. And we went on a Friday night, which I expected it to be slammed. It was not overly busy which was great. We also went on the bumper cars. They only have 6 bumper cars, and the area is pretty small, but I laughed so hard I was crying. Totally worth it, and the pricing was great. $65 for 6 people to play a game of laser tag and 6 people to do a round of bumper cars. Can't beat pricing like that. Side note: They sell beer in FunQuest for the parents/adults! Yes!!! read more

Rude staff. Had a birthday party today there and it was horrible! I play at the gsr and stay there ALOT. I figured if fun quest was half as good as they are up stairs when I'm playing... I'd be happy. It was a horrible experience! Round table treated us poorly and the excuse was "were really busy" and the gentlemen inside fun quest with his atttitude of saying it's not his birthday party and if it was he wouldn't go to funquest either. I am so furious with this place and disgusted. I stay frequently and I gamble a lot there. Unless I hear something back from somebody there I will not be back to any portion of grand sierra. read more

I Took my daughter in here last night. We had an absolute blast! The games were great they also have these crazy bummer cars! You definitely have to try!! I like that they have a lot of games for younger children as well. I also love the huge play area, we were having a blast attempting to crawl through, and the ball pit! The staff was very kind and friendly, and the snack bar was reasonably priced. I'll definitely be coming back here, I actually can't wait to take her back! read more

Laser tag is only a broken down shadow of what it used to be. No teams or recharging. Much of the equipment is broken and doesn't work. My gun stopped working in the middle and I had to leave the arena and get a new vest activated and same with another player, yet we didn't get any additional time. $60 for our family of 8. This place is a joke, tumble town for example you pay at the desk but it doesn't matter they have no employee stationed to check wrist bands so any child can come in an play. Not only that but any child can walk in and be reckless. Parents just drop their kids off and leave. In the short amount of time sitting there I watched a group of kids just walk in and start cursing at each other in-front of small children and punch another child. Where are the employees? Never going to waste my time with this again. It's not worth the money. read more

The area is huge but there could have been more games to fill the place with. Variety of games is lacking, while some of the games they had were not working correctly. It's kinda ironic that while GSR is a nice "huge" and clean, some of the games were not working properly, thus game maintenance is really lacking! read more

We recently held our son's birthday party at Funquest. The experience compelled me to write this review. Upon arrival we checked in at the counter. We waited about 5 minutes to be introduced to our party host. As she walked us to our room I she asked if we needed to order food since there was none ordered on our reservation. This was very concerning to me as I had confirmed our food order 48 hours prior and guests would be arriving in 10 minutes. Fortunately the food and cake order was located, phew. As guests started arriving there is no clear place to check in and no one directing children to the correct party room, unlike other local children's party venues. 20 minutes after the start of the party we had no food and no token cards, which meant a room full of antsy 7-9 year olds with nothing to do. We spent most of the first hour trying to track down our party host because the service button located on the wall of the party room is clearly not operational and only serves to provide parents with a false sense of hope that your needs may be met in any kind of timely fashion. We had prepaid for 21 games of laser tag (the sole reason for the party taking place at funquest) after telling our hostess that we were ready to play and being given the card loaded with the games we entered the waiting room of the laser tag arena. 8 minutes later the attendant opened the door and told us that only 12 of our party would be able to play because they had kids playing multiple games in a row. When asked how this was possible with a party reservation we received nothing more than a shrug as an explanation. We split up the party so that kids with parents needing to leave could take their kids home rather than waiting another 10-15 minutes to start the game. Despite the inconveniences associated with the party and the delays in services we were then asked to rapidly vacate the party room without regard to the fact that we were waiting to play our laser tag games. When it was time to check out and pay for the party we were advised that the bill for food and the party space rental would be charged separately, obviously a very minor inconvenience. When reviewing the charges I discovered that we had been charged $5/game of laser tag. The quoted price was $10/3 games. At the total of 21 games purchased the price discrepancy was $35. Fortunately the error was caught and corrected. Although comparably priced to other party locations the service, lack of organization, and really bad food is absolutely not worth it. We will not be back. read more

Let me start off by saying that the play structure itself is great and they have a really nice area for little kids. The problem lies with the staff. We have a two year and a ten month old who we took here. The problem started with the fact that our ten month old was doing nothing more than literally sitting on the floor in the smaller toddler section, not playing with the toys or crawling around, literally just sitting on the floor minding her own business when an employee came and told us she that she had to have a wristband to even sit in the play structure. She then proceeded to tell us that "even if it's a one month old baby you have to pay for them to sit on the ground because this is play structure and that's how we make money"...seriously?! The second issue came when I was in the big play structure with the two year old, same employee came racing back in and told me that adults were not allowed in because "play structures like this are meant to hold adult weight... again seriously?! What happens when a kid goes up and gets lost or is too scared to come back down, because I'm guess an adult probably goes up and gets them. Very very unimpressed with the staff. Great way to drive off local business. read more

Once we figured out their extremely confusing system, we did end up enjoying ourselves but it appears no one there knows how to do their job. First of all no prices are on their website and no one answers their phone. We finally just drove over and found it closed even though the sign posted said they open at 10am (apparently their hours changed and they now open at 12pm). We had to walk extremely far to get back to the arcade which is in the far back corner then found that each employee only had pricing information for the station they were manning, causing us to have to walk all over to get prices for bowling, lazer tag, combat simulator, the movies, go-karts, etc. They really should have a pricing sheet available for their customers and train their employees to answer basic questions. One guy actually said, "You would need to talk to the manager about that." and simply pointed him out instead of facilitating the conversation. REALLY POOR customer service. read more

Decent arcade for the under 21 year old kids and teens at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. I noticed they have laser tag, Battlefield, and bumper cars, as well as some play houses and contraptions for kids to run around in. I liked the giant connect 4 game! I was confused at first about the lack of physical tickets coming out of the machines, but I guess they went paperless and my card just records all the tickets I have. Very Eco-friendly but I guess young kids would be disappointed. read more

This review is for the Battlefield Live Laser Tag in Fun Quest, and not for the entirety of the arcade (a decent arcade for the most part). For three people, it cost thirty dollars for one game, in which you shoot up zombies as part of the Halloween season. A fairly higher than normal price for a game of laser tag, but we were looking forward to the experience due to all the advertising we've seen. And oh boy, did we get an "experience." After being told we couldn't run or jump over obstacles (which was a little odd for laser tag), we headed inside, and were greeted by the zombies. Or rather, bad makeup wearing employees who were eager for their shift to end. Most of the time, while we were walking around the area, there would be a group of them just talking with each other and saying, "Is this the last game of the night?" and other classic zombie sayings, while occasionally screaming in your face when they realized there were a few people around. And I can't forget that there was some other employee with loose gauze over his face, yelling about his friend named Johnny who was playing the game, which just gave the whole thing a very surreal feel to it. And very boring too, considering I didn't really shoot any zombies since it made me feel like I was going to interrupt their conversation. I'm sure regular laser tag (which is cheaper) to be better than this, but I wouldn't hold my breath. So, beware! Save your money and never venture inside this poor excuse for a zombie shoot 'em up! read more

I can describe this place in two words: birth control. Yep, you will be so disgusted and stressed over the chaos, disorganization, and uncleanliness you are sure to never want to have children. As if any dwelling that caters to hundreds of children isint frightening enough, this place lacks in every department. No joke at least half of the arcade games dont work. The ones that do work may or may not give you the tickets youre supposed to win. If you did get tickets it doesnt matter anyways because the line to put the tickets in ticket counter is 20 deep because it doesnt work right either. The play area for small kids is extremely dangerous because adults are not allowed in the play structure so kids under about 3 are shit out of luck. If youre an adult accompanying a child youre also shit out of luck because there is seating for about 8 adults in a place that accomodates a few hundred, so hopefully you like to stand for hours amongst screaming children. This place really could be a cash cow but it seems like such an after thought within the Grand Sierra that you are so much better off taking your kids pretty much anywhere but here. Coconut bowl does the same thing 10x better. read more

We tried to celebrate B-day for our kids. This place is a disaster. Soft drink choice is either Lemonade or Coca....and lemonade taste is like it was like a mix of powder and water from the toilet tank. You can not bring your own soda or juice, or ANYTHING! This would be good if they can offer a variety of choice to sell. But it is not, Only limited selection, basically like Water And Bread. If you want to play, prepare your self to walk a long miles because lots of the machines are OUT OF ORDER too. If you will see ppl standing by machine, this means that it is working, but you need to wait a long time for your turn. Well, on the other end. if you win tickets and try to exchange it for the toys, --- prepare to pass thru the worst customer service ever! I was waiting to be served for 30 min! Not because of the long line,but rather because gals behind the counter are busy with their talking and enjoying themselves. Absolutely not fun, when I called for the manager, gal gave me such an ugly look so I will remember her for life. This place is just a joke and waste of your time.
