Went for my little brother's birthday and everyone had a blast. It was clean and the staff was kind. Zero complaints

The only thing that is close to being an old school game at Fun Quest

So it's been a while since I've been at some Quest I just went back and they don't have any classic games. They're pretty big arcade Here so you'd think they would have at least Maybe a few pinball machines but nope Peer it's all kitty crap With the exception of Oversized cocktail game It has a few Classics on it. No Street Fighter games, House of the Dead, Tron, Donkey Kong, Etc. I mean I'm not stupid I know that modern arcades really don't have much of this but you should have at least two or three of these and maybe a couple of pinball machines otherwise it's just not an arcade

Fun Quest is located inside the GSR they offer arcade games ,laser tag , bumper cars , bounces houses and a jungle gym area . We had a lot of fun here playing games and my kids love the bumper cars it was a big hit !! The staff was super friendly they just seem understaff for the bumper cars we had to wait 10 minutes after purchasing our tickets till the laser tag session was over the staff member was running both laser tag and the bumper cars . Overall it was a fun time ! Lots of arcade games great area for the kids ! Bumper cars is a must !We will try the laser tag next time we go .

During our visit, we brought our family down to play in the fun quest area. It was very clean. All the employees were very well informative, and helpful if needed. We actually got a chance to meet Shannon and she was amazing. Very knowledgeable, kind, friendly, you name it she has it dialed in. Re-recommended to all of our friends and family when they come to visit.

I like this place a lot. I was there on Christmas Day and it was super fun with all the arcade games and laser tag. It's a place for all ages where you can have fun and your kids can as well. It's located at the GSR so parking is not an issue.

If I could give negative ratings, I would. ~ 40% of the machines were not working. There was only one person working the redemption desk. We waited over an hour to get our tickets redeemed. I would have left but my daughter worked so hard for the tickets. Don't come.

Fun fun fun!!! Games to play together and games to play solo.

Great place for the kids! Some Games are about .50-$1.00 more than I've seen other places but a huge variety and lots of fun games to play! We had kids that were 4, 5, 8, and 11 and they all enjoyed themselves. Arcade games, carnival games, air hockey, bumper cars, shooting games, ticket grabbers, and lots of space to run around and get excited. They loved it. And they all had enough tickets to get a cool prize and leave happy. A few games were broken or would take the money off of your pre- paid card, so I just asked the front desk if they could reload my $3.00 and they did! It was nice and much appreciated.

My boy got his birthday party here this morning.. all the kids had so much fun!! The only down side about the place is : they don't offer juice for the kids....Not allow to bring outside drink either!! I feel so sad to see 12 of my guests are drinking soda which they have never drank before in their live!! Other than that, it is cool place to hang out and have a party for little ones!

    Cash in those tickets!

If you have small, medium or not so big kids, this place is a great way to kill some hours! There are actually several areas of action here. There's a climbing structure for small to medium kids - several levels and tons of climbs, drops, slides, tunnels and more can get the energy out of any kid. A small play area across form it is good for toddlers, lots of touchy, bouncy, climby things to do with an adult. There is laser tag for older kids, a bumper car in dark/neon atmosphere, and many arcade games around the area. There are also rooms to reserve for a party. On the other side of the check-in counter lies a large arcade, with games for adults and teens as well as kids - the HALO game is amazing! I'm glad I don't gamble - spent the money on that, and ,much better return! LOL Across the hallway there are other attractions, like ax throwing (!), a 3-D large screen coaster simulator with several scenarios, and a virtual reality experience - so fun to watch from the outside, as there are screens so WE see what THEY see! Cool . . . Most of the activities are reasonably priced, and you can spend at least a couple of hours here without thinking of the time. Good environment, safe and clean, and helpful staff if an issue arises (like that Ice Man (Plants vs. Zombie) game that ran out of water mid-game! Ugh). Overall, a great visit, and we plan to return the next time we are in the Reno area!

The offer card specials and we opted for the $60 one to give us an additional $15 as a bonus. The game area was clean and well lit up. They have video games on the top floor and some more ticket games on the bottom floor. I feel like we lost some credits on the machines because we would swipe and it wouldn't work, but I noticed that my money was going down. There wasn't an attendant to help. We spent like an hour there using up the card. The kids racked up about 1,000 tickets on their card. They use a self serve prize machine to redeem your tickets, which is pretty cool. Overall, we had a great time.

As far as the games go, they're all working but the place just feels tired a bit old and rundown. They don't offer a system where they're unlimited play cards include ticket games, but do not reward tickets so the selection of games available to the kids at the party was fairly limited as a result which bothered me, but of course didn't bother the kids who were just happy to continue swiping and playing. That said they do offer some games here that are not typically included in other arcades in town like the Minecraft game which spits out super cool cards and certainly captivated the kids for quite some time. The party room was large but parsley appointed in terms of decorations and really didn't offer much in terms of seeming or decor. There's truly a DIY situation and thankfully, we came with a couple of decorations to put up to make it feel more festive. One of the pizzas included in the party arrived squished in one corner and the supervisor was quick with the solution. Unfortunately, they couldn't remake the pizza which I'm not really sure why, but instead he offered additional cards that the kids could use to play the Midway games downstairs, which ended up being a huge hit. The birthday party deal is a great value to be honest. Works out to around 25 bucks a kid minimum of 10 and it includes pizza and unlimited soda plus a two hour arcade card and $15 to use on the midway or the games with redemption prizes. We ended up adding a $100 card to our party so that we could have the kids play some additional Midway games and that really did extend the fun quite a bit. Midway games are about to six dollars per play, so it does actually go a little ways. If you're staying at Circus Circus, the XP arcade is a fun stop over but if you're from the area, I personally wouldn't say this is the one to come to. That said if you wanna play the midway, you really can't do that anywhere else and it is super fun, especially rewarding when you win a prize. We'll certainly recommend this birthday party option to friends.

Hotel-Lodging Review (mostly):…read more To hear some folks speak on Circus Circus (either here in Reno or the sister property in Vegas), you'd think someone were describing the conditions inside a POW camp or prison. Haven't stayed or patronized the property here in decades. And the primary aim with this stay was getting back into the Caesar's Rewards program as quickly and as economically as possible. Sure, it's an older property with it's proverbial warts, but the stay held appeal for me. And it didn't hurt that I upgraded to a Spa King Suite, located in the Casino Tower. Check-in supervisor Asialene was a sweetheart who set the tone for my 1 night stay. Spa Suites have either an oversized soaking tub or one with jet nozzles (basically a mini whirlpool-jacuzzi). Really relaxing and is always a highlight of any stay, no matter the property. These rooms are huge! Around 680 sq. ft. Like an apartment almost. Easily accommodates multiple adults or a family with the non-king, 2 bed set up. Wet bar, Keurig machine, mini fridge, 42" big screen, a 2nd smaller screen in the master room, two separate toilets in each suite. The climate A/C system works great; no nonsense old-school horsepower blowing from 2 separate units in the suite. Unlike at some of the fancier resorts around town that skimp on the room HVAC output. In short and overall, there's quite a bit of value for what you get here at Circus, comparatively speaking. It serves well a niche for folks not wishing to break the bank for a simple night's stay while in Reno. Sure, other resorts are fancier no doubt, but, you're also shelling out more cash to get that in most cases. My normal go-to resort in Reno is usually Peppermill for example. Stay there several times a year. Which defies comparison to Circus on many levels. But, one thing I actually appreciated about Circus was being about to get where I wanted with a lot fewer steps than at most other fancier resorts. For the same time + distance it takes you to weave from 1 side of Peppermill to the other towers and parking areas for example, you could cover about the same distance between all 3 resorts under The Row (Circus Circus, Silver Legacy & El Dorado) it seems. Setbacks here at Circus like hot & stuffy hallways and lobbies, slow & inoperable escalators & elevators, a dystopian parking garage, closed rewards center & cashier cage (only at Circus, not at Silver Legacy & El Dorado) turned out to be minor inconveniences that were fairly easily overlooked & remedied during the stay. I mean, who really judges a resort by the parking garage for example? Was here for Monday overnight, so most of the shops and some restaurants within the Circus side were closed, owing to the idea that Monday's are typically one of the slowest days of the week. They've also swung the axe on table games here at Circus, a bummer from the heyday where lively floor crowds were the norm. Bartender blamed this on Covid when I inquired. But again, a short walk to either Silver Legacy or El Dorado casinos via the indoor connected walkways solves that riddle. I wasn't on the property long enough to relive the still-active midway-arcade, free circus acts (if they even still have those?), restaurants, etc, so can't comment there. But, it would be a sad day if this property ever closes. And I definitely wouldn't hesitate lodging here again at any of the other properties at The Row.
