Hotel-Lodging Review (mostly): To hear some folks speak on Circus Circus (either here in Reno or the sister property in Vegas), you'd think someone were describing the conditions inside a POW camp or prison. Haven't stayed or patronized the property here in decades. And the primary aim with this stay was getting back into the Caesar's Rewards program. Sure, it's an older property with it's proverbial warts, but the stay held appeal for me. And it didn't hurt that I upgraded to a Spa Suite, located in the Casino Tower. Check-in supervisor Asialene was a sweetheart who set the tone for my 1 night stay. Spa Suites have either an oversized soaking tub or one with the jets. Really relaxing and is always a highlight of any stay, no matter the property. These rooms are huge! Like an apartment almost. Wet bar, Keurig machine, mini fridge, 42" big screen, a 2nd screen in the master room, two sepate toilets in each suite. The climate A/C system works great, no nonsense old-school horsepower unlike at some of the fancier resorts around town that skimp on the room HVAC output. In short, quite a bit of sq. ft. & value for what you get here at Circus, comparatively speaking. Sure, other resorts are fancier no doubt, but, you're also shelling out more cash to get that in most cases. My normal go-to resort in Reno is usually Peppermill. Which defies comparison to Circus on many levels. But, one thing I actually appreciated about Circus was being about to get where I wanted with a lot fewer steps than at most other fancier resorts. For the same time + distance it takes you to weave from 1 side of Peppermill to the other including parking areas for example, you could cover about the same distance here between all 3 resorts under The Row (Circus Circus, Silver Legacy & El Dorado) it seems. Setbacks here at Circus like hot & stuffy hallways and lobbies, slow & inoperable escalators & elevators, a dystopian parking garage, closed rewards center (only at Circus, not at Silver Legacy & El Dorado) turned out to be very minor incoveniences that were fairly easily overlooked & remedied during the stay. I mean, who really judges a resort by the parking garage? Was here for Monday overnight, so most of the shops and some restaurants within the Circus were closed, owing to the idea that Monday's are typically one of the slowest days of the week. They've also swung the axe it would appear on table games here at Circus, a bummer from the heydey where lively floor crowds were the norm. But again, a short walk to either Silver Legacy or El Dorado casinos via the indoor connected walkways solves that riddle. I wasn't on the property long enough overall to relive the still-active midway-arcade, free circus acts (if they even still have those?), restaurants, etc, so can't comment there. But, it would be a sad day if this property ever closes. And I definitely wouldn't hesitate lodging again at any of the properties here at The Row. read more

I booked a room at the Circus Circus in Reno for two nights through the Priceline app. I was given the total amount, which I agreed to. I carefully checked to see if there would be any additional fees, and none were mentioned. I saw the complete fee, which I agreed to and paid. A few days after my booking, I got an additional charge for two hefty "resort fees" which is a hidden charge that I never agreed to. I have been staying with Circus Circus Reno for many years, and this is the first time such an issue has occurred. Per FTC federal law: The total amount must be given to me at the time of booking and must include any "drip booking" or charges such as "resort fees." Such fees cannot be hidden, and they must be disclosed before payment. This was also agreed upon by PriceLine. When I called Circus Circus, they gave me the run-around and said their resort fees were mandatory and to contact Priceline if I had an issue. I know the hotel can easily refund me such a fee, but they chose not to. Beware if you stay here - they can just charge your credit card as they like, it seems. read more

Stayed here for the weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and in order when we arrived. We stayed in the Sky Tower and had a nice view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. There were some bits of noise at times out in the hallways but nothing too distracting. My only issues with the room was the loud noise from the AC/Heater, very firm beds that weren't the most comfortable and a sink that makes a gurgling sound after you run water. But overall it's very convenient because you have full access to the Row. The Midway is still as fun as it was when I enjoyed going back in the 90s. Circus Circus has always been my favorite Hotel/Casino to navigate whenever I'm in Reno. read more

I can't speak to the rooms on the lower price range, but what I got, was absolutely amazing. I was here on Cinco de Mayo, but because it was a Tuesday, the rates were very reasonable. I have "status", so I was offered an upgrade to a spa suite, for a very reasonable price. The price range, of course depends on what day of the week it is, as well if there are any events going on, but even at full price, that spa suite is well worth the splurge. I was checked in by Claudia, and she was very friendly and helpful. My room was in the tower that is connected to the main casino. I was on the fifth floor. The view during the daytime wasn't much, but at night time and sunrise, it was very pretty. I walked into the room, and I couldn't believe it! I had actually gotten a two room suite it was a beautiful suite. The living room had 2 very comfortable couches. One of them had a hide-a- bed in it, or you could just sleep across the couch. it had a mini bar that had a Keurig on it, there were two TVs, with a good picture and lots of channels, as well as the movies for rent, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and there were also two bathrooms. The bathroom attached to the living room does not have a tub or shower. There was also a huge closet. There was a fridge, but no microwave. The bed was a bit firm for my personal taste, but I still got an OK nights sleep. I do realize that everybody's taste is different. I had to laugh when I saw the Jacuzzi tub. It was heart shaped. That tells me that this "spa suite" doubles as the honeymoon/romantic getaway suite. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing! It filled up quick, and it was so absolutely relaxing. My body was just melting away. I sat in that thing for almost a half hour, and when I got out, I went to sleep very quick. My only regret, is that I didn't have a special someone to share it with. (for those of you who have met me, I apologize for putting that image into your brain. Please, I beg of you, let it go... LET IT GO...... :) Circus Circus is a nice property, like the El Dorado and Silver Legacy, it is a Caesars property. The casino is nice, they have a midway with lots of fun games for the kids, and also live circus acts. There is plenty to do. You can walk between all three properties without ever going outside, and there is plenty of gaming, bars with different themes, and lots of restaurants throughout all three properties ...The food court is just OK. The arcade was the best arcade I have ever taken my kiddos to? The employees were so nice! So many games to choose from, the prizes were so fun and not cheap, I'd say it's not super expensive but not cheap either can be more affordable. My kiddos definitely enjoyed it, I like how they have small circus acts. Very clean facility, restrooms were so clean and this place is every kids dream I'd say. read more

By far the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel anywhere in the world. I could give this place -5 stars. Where to begin? We get in to our room and it stunk, looked dirty, to the point I almost felt like my skin was going to turn color if I touched their linens. After being there for a few minutes I went to the bathroom and lifted up the toilet cover to find (I would assume previous guest) left the whole toilet bowl full of shit, didn't flush (it looked like it been there for awhile see my pictures if you dare) but better yet the maids didn't see this??? I won't even mention how filthy the rest of the bathroom and room was. We called front desk and explained the bathroom situation and were told they would move us to another room, just a lame apology like this happens quite often, refund was not an option. As we go to another room we come to find out our tv doesn't work, looked like previous guests cut the coaxial cable from wall to tv. We AGAIN call front desk and they send someone up to fix it. The maintenance guy says he will have to bring us a new tv because the cable was actually severed off in the current tv. About 20 minutes later he returned with a new tv. He then states to us his shift is over and he has to go, but someone else would be right up to connect the new tv. He leaves both tv's and takes off. I thought WTF ? Where am I? And what is happening??? Finally someone else shows up and connects tv. Really at this point we were just glad we were staying 1 night, and we just wanted to be out of the room for as long as possible and have this nightmare be over. I am not at all surprised of the conditions, they are owned by Caesar's entertainment which I reviewed harrahs in Reno a few years ago and same thing, just not this filthy. These people just don't care anymore, the rooms are run down and filthy and they smell something awful. Do yourself a favor and stay at a newer casino that actually cares if you can find one, all the places in Reno are just run down and filthy period. read more

After our stay, my overall opinion on the casino really didn't change. As far as actually navigating the casino, it didn't improve from my initial experience. The elevators are still tucked away and very hidden and every single pair of escalators we found had one side broken so you had to just wander around until you found an elevator or a working escalator. There were also random 1 way escalators scattered about which was off The actual elevators in the main lobby were a nightmare. No matter if there were a lot of people or nobody, they would take forever to come down (and I believe one was broken). There was a time in particular there were 20-30 people all waiting around for the elevator. I asked an employee where the stairs were (since I was on the second floor). It took two employees to even figure out if there were stairs, and then I had to wait around for security (who never came) in order to go up them. The room, while decently clean and modern, was missing hand soap, and the AC rattled extremely loud when the compressor would turn on. I finally figured out I could jam a pillow in between the bed and AC to keep it quiet. Throughout the stay, the front desk people were very unhelpful, either not knowing anything, or just saying "yeah I can't help, go ask the bell hop". The only saving grace was the midway, which while expensive, was a nice little break for people like us with little kids. read more

This is only a review on the Circus Circus game floor. Our two little ones ages 8 and 6 years old had a blast. My husband had nostalgia. Two things that I noticed, there are no more performances. When I came here as a little kid the Circus shows were my highlight and I would stop and watch each one. The cost of the games was outrageous. We won one of those humongous sonic dolls from the string cutting game. We did our best to try and play all the games, but they are short staffed. Our favorite games were the horse racing game and you roll the ball into the holes, coin drop game to collect cards, and VR rabbit ride. When it came time to exchange our tickets for prizes, we were surprised to find out the coin game gave us a thousand tickets. Prizes were decent. There were no crowds so we were able to do everything we wanted. read more

My huge quandry: 1. Circus Circus Reno? 2. Hollywood Tower of Terror? Similarities: 1. Both have very fast elevators, and they seem to work very well. At the Hollywood Tower, the insider suggestion is to take the maintenance elevator to get to your room even quicker. 2. Both are quite skinny looking and old. (see pics below) Circus Circus is from that booming 1970s prosperity era of beautiful modern concrete. Hollywood from the glamorous 1920 art deco era. 3. Both locations make you feel like you are in the Twlight Zone...but yet, both are very different. Contrasts: 1. At Circus Circus, if you have a question, no one seems to know anything. It's like it's everyone's first day...every day. At Hollywood Tower, they prefer to just stare at you and not say anything. 2. I appreciated the Bell Hops uniforms at Hollywood Tower. They didn't smile a lot, but as a guest, they made me feel...rich and powerful. That's important because in reality I'm just another poor sap pretending to be a Reno High Roller on $50/day...the cost of our room in the "skytower." The bell hops at Circus Circus don't even wear uniforms or those classy looking hats. Since it appears to be everyone's first day, they probably haven't found the uniforms so I'll give them a pass on that. 3. Unlike Hollywood Towers classy, rich, famous and elite clientele, the Circus Circus clientele was straight from the Brady Bunch. Except everyone appears older and fat. I think I caught Marcia with 5 tattoos smoking behind a broken slot machine. More details and photo documentation below: The front desk: If you get a choice, and want to be part of the "scene" at Circus Circus, choose whatever they call the "tower" that is closest to the casino. If you want nothing to do with the casino, choose what they call "the sky tower." Just know that the monorail/tram/trolley thing that crosses the street hasn't worked in years so you will walk a ways. If you do the arcade instead of slots, be rest assured that you will part ways with a minimum $30. That's pretty steep right? But remember, most rooms here are $50 per night for 2 people so be happy to spend $30 on the Ring Toss and score a mini teddy bear. Speaking of the arcade, gee wiz...has that ever changed! Once upon a time, the arcade had circus type shows with acrobats swinging and clowns doing tricks. Today, the show consists of an old man, old lady, and a dog that does tricks. The old lady does stuff on a hoop attached to a rope that goes to the ceiling, but it's nothing that any stripper or college gymnast can't do. The old man sits at the side of the stage and does nothing. I'm guessing he is there if she accidentally falls? The well behaved dog sits on its hind legs looking very cute. The entire show lasts 3:45 seconds. Why the lack of entertainment? I'm guessing those $50 rooms won't allow for much extra entertainment. Be aware that in March, there is no "entertainment" from the old man/lady/dog Monday-Wednesday. Then they get wild and crazy Thursday-Sunday. Speaking of wild and crazy...those arcade employees look like they are on a 4-hour prison release. I suspect the minimum wage doesn't include any obligatory fake smiles so again...those $50 rooms..you pay for what you get. Don't ask them any questions like "when is the next show?" Like elsewhere at Circus Circus, it seems like it's everyones first day. I did get lucky and run into a nice guy who said the good ol days of arcade entertainment are long gone at Circus Circus, and he directed me to the front door where I took a pic of the entertainment schedule. Just remember they typically don't last longer than a few minutes. Of course you can still walk the Row, and nothing ever changes except menu prices. Again, they have to make up for the $50 room. The Row is pretty much like it always has been. Compared to the Row, there is a cheaper food court at Circus Circus. The Epilogue: You pay for what you get. It could be worse...like stuck in an elevator with Carol Brady. Or maybe get lucky like you just scored $200 from the Money Roll downstairs. But in general, I think you pay for what you get...Pricelines $50 per day for 2 people. Unfortunately at Hollywood Tower Hotel, the prices run closer to $400 per day for 2, with lots of screaming going on, not to mention a $35 daily parking fee and a very long walk to the hotel. To have a good time, it's best to lower your expectations to the lowest of low...then have an adventure. read more

Circus Circus' Midway of Fun is still a great time, albeit more expensive to play but what isn't nowadays? There are the classic manned midway games (ball tosses, ring tosses, water gun races) and standalone games (skeeball, claw games) but the regular video games (shooting, racing) are gone. Everything is done by a pre-paid card so no cash is exchanged with the workers. They also have the free midway shows - which is always a treat to see. As for their casino, they removed manned table games years ago and only have slot machines and automated gaming machines (craps, roulette, blackjack). It's a bit sad compared to when we used to come visit back in the 90s - when the downtown casinos were packed with patrons even on the weekdays. But, I'm happy they're still around. Their food court is a nice option when we're not in the mood to have a sit-down meal. The Habit is a favorite of ours and they always put out some great burgers and shakes. read more

I get that no one stays at Circus Circus to enjoy a quality hotel. You stay here because it may be cheaper, you have kids, or they entice you with a special offer. I arrived well after midnight as the shuttle never showed at the airport. I waited from 11:40pm - 12:20am and it didn't come. Taxi ride was close to $40, uber options weren't much better and would take longer. It was 28 degrees out. The front desk lady was nice and got me checked in right away. My room was #221, right next to the elevator and noisy ice machine. The room was in general disrepair. Wallpaper peeling off, sink mirror rotting, and a glorious hand print against the headboard wall - epic. The next morning I opened the window. Nice view of the HVAC. Oh well, not a huge problem. I was shocked to see decapitated and dismembered pieces of birds outside the window on the ground and HVAC. Take my word for it, nothing kills romance faster than bird entrails. Please clean that up outside room #221. I turned my AC unit off at it was loud. However it would come on in the middle of the might even louder, like it was angry at me. Alas not much sleep in 3 days. Bathroom was falling apart, but nice water pressure, volume and heat in the shower. Bed was okay, not super comfy. Overall the room reminded me of a Motel 6, only more post-apocalyptic. Full disclosure, I did not report this to staff. Front desk was always busy during the day and frankly moving rooms is a pain after you've unpacked. If any manager that sees this wants to chat, I'm happy to. Would like to see my "resort" fee (this is far from a resort property) returned as there was no shuttle and I had to incur taxi costs. This place is an okay location in downtown and prices are a little cheaper than others, buuut the check in is awful... Both times I've stayed the check in line was extremely long. First time we checked in around 5:30pm and the second time was really late, 3am. The self-service kiosks are not open after midnight. The line both times had over 20 people waiting. Check in took HOURS. If you want to save and don't mind the hassle, it could be worth it for you. I personally don't know if we will stay here again. read more

We actually liked our stay here. We booked 2 rooms & stayed during a very busy week during graduation events at UNR, and also there was an international bowling meet. If you want a quieter place to sleep, I would recommend the Sky tower, and this is where we stayed. If you want closer to the casino and arcades then stay at the North tower. The bedrooms are pretty clean, with basic amenities. There's also a refrigerator in each room which was helpful as we need it having stayed there for 4 days. Overall- Recommended. read more

My family and I enjoy the Midway located here above the casino floor. Plenty of games to play. My favorite arcade game is skee ball. And chicken in the pot. Nowadays you purchase a game card sold in machines located throughout the Midway. Like many things the price of games have gone up. $1.50 per skee ball game. $6.00 a bucket for ring toss. Chicken in the pot was dormant the two days we went. The live circus trapeze acts have been eliminated. Now there's a stage where various circus acts come out. We caught two the time we were there. 1:30pm & 2pm. But then the next time was 2:45pm. We left before then. Certain games earn you points that you can redeem for prizes. I let those go. I dropped my game card into the recycle box. Fun entertainment for all ages. read more

The newest or most luxurious? No! Fun? Yes! Where your kids want to go? Yes! Great value? Yes! Nothing is perfect but this hotel casino is a place where both kids and parents can both compromise a bit and both enjoy themselves. Very family friendly. Connected with Sliver Legacy and Eldorado your going to never have to leave the trio of resorts. Last I checked if you stay at Circus you could ask to use the little rooftop pool at Silver if you wanted to. Kids love that sort of thing. The midway isn't as happening as it was in the 90s but its still a cheerful place to be. I last went here with the kid brother years ago and he was so eager to go he accidently clicked 4 times and ordered four rooms - as we arrived the front desk promptly refunded the extra three rooms. Eager you and your childish inner self will also be. Its a fun place. Smiles and laughs. We can never have enough of that sort of thing. Granite counters and stainless steel appliances you won't find here. But that's ok. My mom once said that granite belongs only in grave yards. I've been an enthusiastic supporter of Circus Circus Reno since I was 10 years old. I loved it then and love it now. The lobby doors didn't work, the hallways and our room looked beat-up, the arcade and midway were expensive and basic (like dipping dots machine had no spoons and credit cards didn't work...which bummed my kiddos out), and it was sadly very underwhelming. We stayed one night at Circus Circus Reno with our big family, including our nieces & nephews. It's definitely budget and family friendly. The front desk was welcoming, and early check in was available for a $30 fee. We were able to check in at 9:30am, which was great. The arcade and food court were perfect for the kids and made the stay convenient. That said, the hotel is very old. Even with updated rooms, everything felt dated and a bit grimy, especially the hallways and casino. The room was clean but bare bones. There were only two pillows per bed and minimal amenities. So charging the $40 resort fee seemed excessive for what you got. And because it's the most affordable of the three connected hotels, it was extremely crowded. We waited 15-20 minutes just for the elevator. It worked for a quick family trip, but if it were just my husband and me, we'd stay somewhere nicer. read more

We had a lovely time staying here. Unfortunately, the one thingthat drove me nuts to no end was alllllllllllllllllll the water from the shower that always ended up all over the floor. The shower curtain inside the bathtub was too short. Water was everywhere all the time. Towels weren't too tough to get. I called a few times but at least they made it there. The room was very spacious which was nice and clean. We were conveniently located in the north tower on the 21st floor. All of our requests had been met. That alone was amazing and so helpful. The lady that ended up cleaning our room was so amazed when I gave her a $10 tip as we were checking out. I know that we take care of our room and that we do not leave any type of crazy mess behind. It goes to show you, around here, ppl (guests) probably do not take care of their housekeeping staff. Even our bell hop guys/workers were fantastic. Sometimes it's difficult to get them on the phone but once they pick up, they are in your room and picking up all of your luggage for you in less than five minutes. I tipped our bell hop $25 each time they helped us with our bags. We had tons of stuff, not just luggage but bowling equipment as well. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. read more

We like to come to this 3 hotel space at "the row". We usually stay at the silver legacy and kind of go back and forth the property eating at the el Dorado and usually gamble at the circus circus. This is the lower $ limit of the three properties and they have removed the tables but don't really mind as I don't do to much of that gambling anyway. I like the old style slots and roulette. They have a digital roulette with a $3 minimum at which we usually play for a long time. There are a couple of penny slots by the bar where the live music stage is and we usually win there. There is a cocktail waitress who always takes care of the wife and I and the drinks just keep on coming. I should know her name but I don't she is a blonde and great smile to go along with her amazing service. Came here for my birthday and we had a blast! Won my largest slot jackpot of $2.5k and had a great time. Last time we stayed here they put us in the old tower that used to have the little Tram so the wall all the way over there kind of sucks so we opt for the silver legacy when ever possible. read more

I used to enjoy coming here through the years, but now it's just been a total dump. The row does offer better entertainment with the other two around, but circus circus has very much to be desired. For starters, if you decided to get the "Mountain View" room you're more likely to get the sky tower which is not connected to the main hotel. Although I used to enjoy coming to this section of the place, it's a barren wasteland. They no longer service the tram post Covid. The area has no amenities and unlike the main hotel, this tower hasn't received a much needed face lift. Paint on the rooms are peeling. Stains are everywhere. The food court and the carnival style games are the only thing that makes this place entertaining and enjoyable, but staffing is a major issue. The food court, although delicious with the food and the friendly staff, the upkeep of the dining area is disappointing. Dirty floors, tables, etc. and it's hard to find staff to clean the area. The staff look overwhelmed and burnt out. They do what they can and I give them credit. I have no complaints about them. When person to person, they are nice and attentive. Only wish the rooms and attractions were just the same. read more

When traveling to Reno with the kids Circus Circus is a must for us. There's plenty of free parking. The pricing is the best around. There are plenty of rooms to pick from to suit your needs. It is connected to 2 other casinos so you don't even have to go outside! There are plenty of restaurants to choose from or the food court! And the best part....the arcade!!!! 6-night stay and only 1 of 2 beds ever got made, and that was once. housekeeping supposed to be every 3 days. ran out of washcloths, coffee, and needed trash pickup. I can do 3 days alright, but they need to provide a 3-day stock of essentials. read more

I feel like I stayed in a different hotel than the other people leaving reviews. Yes, it's a tad dated & water pressure in the sink was laughable but it was clean. Free parking, I almost forgot what that was like. I saw multiple security guards pass through, keeping everything safe. We had a mini suite and there was nothing mini about it. We had so much room! We had great views of the area too. The shower pressure was great. The bed was comfortable. The black out shade was so handy for the early morning sunshine. Loved the mini fridge and coffee maker. Ice was free, plentiful & just a few steps away. This was our 3rd stay here over the decades & we keep returning. The layout can be a little confusing but once you get it, it's not a big deal. I could see those with mobility issues having a tough time navigating here. Checkin was easy and check out was even easier. read more

Always the place to stay with a kid under 18 and loves video games. Great gambling machines and games. Good food locations to choose from. Rooms are decent and good pricing for the visit. If you have kids under 18 headed into Reno, this is a great option to stay. read more

We stayed at Circus Circus last night for a staycation. Upon checking in, we were informed that we had been bumped from our reservation and lost our king bed in exchange for two queen beds. Our room was located in the Sky Terrace wing, which we didn't realize was quite far from the main areas, and unfortunately, the train service had been stopped. After settling in, we started hearing our neighbors partying, and it seemed like the walls were a bit thin. However, it was nice to find a refrigerator in the room. Although we were on the 10th floor, our view was not very impressive. Afterward, we went out for dinner and were able to make good use of the refrigerator. The next morning, we went out for breakfast and returned to find our neighbor overdosing, with paramedics attending to him. I suppose he had been vomiting all night, which could explain some of the loud noises we had been hearing. read more

How can you give less than 1 star? All of the escalators are broken. The vending machines give you hot Coke and Sprite. Not cold but hot. You go to the front desk and they are the rudest people in the world. Despite having a fried he right there with the drinks they will not swap out. Instead you just call the service company and order a repair for the machine. What? Like no wonder this place is going bankrupt. read more

I would not recommend Circus Circus unless you enjoy the smell of secondhand cigarette smoke. The smell is everywhere even the rooms and there's really no way around it. If you don't mind constant smoke exposure and potential headaches, then this might not bother you. Personally, it was overwhelming. Unfortunately, this seems to be an issue across many casinos in Reno, with that strong, old smoke smell lingering throughout. The hotel itself was clean, but the smell completely ruined the experience for me. I would not stay here again. read more

It's been a couple years since I visited Reno and I decided to book a room at a childhood favorite of mine--Circus Circus at the ROW. After looking at the reviews, I was debating whether or not to book somewhere else because of how terrible they were, but this resort honestly wasn't that bad as dramatic people made it seem on here. The rooms have been renovated quite nicely. There's amenities to use, the bed is a bit firm but comfy enough to sleep on, and it's overall quiet, at least from the tower we stayed at. We originally booked the sky tower but the lady at the front desk upselled us for the other tower since it's closer to the connecting casinos and parking lot, and I'm really glad she did so. However, I do have a complaint about how when she was upselling us, she said she'd give us a room with a higher floor and city view for an extra $20. Although our room was on the 19th floor, our room was facing away from the city. It's not a bad nitpick of mine since we were only staying here for a day, but it's the little things that count if you pay a bit extra for a better stay. She also took my card and proceeded to insert it through the chip for me instead of me doing it myself to pay the deposit? We were in no rush as well. The parking garage is very far from the original tower we booked at and I don't think we would have been able to find it so i'm glad she upselled us on the other tower. Speaking of the parking garage, I recommend parking at floors 3-4 since there are a few homeless people that wander around the ground floor. The Midway carnival was fun, it was empty since we came on a Monday but it was still entertaining and the employees were nice. I remember they used to give out grand prizes like guitars and posters, but it seems like they low budgeted to cheap toys due to inflation. It was still a good time regardless. The hotel itself is quite clean, not really as dirty as people made it seem to be so I'd definitely book a room here next time if I wanted to visit Reno again. Sadly, I noticed the city itself became quite infested with homeless people over time, I hope the environment here gets better in the future. read more

Even though the hotel is really old, they've done a good job updating the rooms. The garage is absolutely a nightmare to locate and is in IMMEDIATE need of repairs but we had a clean, quiet room with decent views. The arcade games are neat, lots of cool places to dine both in and around the hotel, and you can watch the free circus entertainment if you like. read more
