This is the most honest auto repair place I've ever encountered. My car had broken down mid-driving, and I had had it towed to a car repair shop. They told me that my fuel pump and tank needed to be replaced and quoted $9000 for this. My brother-in-law recommended that I call Funfzehn for a quote. I called and spoke with Kenneth. After asking some questions, he told me that he was pretty sure that this could be done for free under warranty. He offered to call his contact at Sterling BMW and said that his contact would call me if this was the case. Fifteen minutes later, I received a call from his contact at Sterling BMW who confirmed what Kenneth had said, and I had the car towed there. Kenneth could have easily quoted me a price and made thousands of dollars. Instead, he shared his inside knowledge of the warranty for my situation and saved me lots of money. MY TEXT REVIEW WAS TOO MUCH AND I WROTE IT ALL. NOT GOOD SERVICE, CAR WORSE THAN WHEN TAKEN TO, 4 WAY HOSE FIXED A HOSE BURSTED ALL OVER MY HOOD SPRAYING COOLANT EVERYWHERE AND HOW IF THEY FIXED IT??? Highly Disappointed. horrible !!!!!! Had more to say !!!!! So I put coolant I had, tried to drive home after it had cooled down well a little ways away I see the light again and this time end up at an autozone. My car was smoking/ overheating, which it had NEVER done prior. I was stuck and stranded from 10am-12am. My fiancé called AAA as soon as she caught wind of what was going on (the two phones I did have on me were disconnected and autozone wouldn't let me borrow the phone and I had to wait till someone texted her for me so we used AAA towing again). We call Noel and Inform him of what happened. By now we have been so hung up on our car troubles and getting AAA to understand and just figuring everything out was a hassle. My fiancé had been using Lyft while the car was being fixed and it was around $40-$45 a day like to go to work, to lunch, from lunch, and home. That was spent on Lyft money each day, now, my fiancé and their schedules clashed, always and so we offered to pay $669.96 and the remainder the next day because we're also remodeling the house and we needed to buy supplies which costs way more money and he said no I'm sorry I wouldn't be able to let it go like that. Okay, fair enough. But I had to purchase the toilet and tile and everything for the bathroom and it had to be ASAP so now we had some of his money. Not our fault cause I'm not gonna put our project on hold cause he didn't wanna take it, cool so the next day he's hitting us up "so when will you be able to pick it up? Because our shops getting full and I'd hate to charge you a storage fee for storing the car here since the work was already done. " but when I had the $669.96 and told him if I could give him the rest tomorrow he didn't want it. So we count up all the money and we had $2 and some change in change and when I handed that change with some cash and 2 card payments they said I came up short and I was really thinking like dang are you for real maybe I did ??? But no, they weren't counting the change and wouldn't accept it. To the point where he's like you know what I'll just round it up and give you a $3 discount, but I had the exact amount so ????? I don't know even when I hit them up about this problem that occurred they just said to have it towed to them and they'll see what's up and what they can do. I call AAA and now they're kind of warning me about how many calls to AAA I've had and all have been over this car being messed up. If I pay TOP $$$$ I expect a good job or atleast an honest job. I open the hood glance down and the hose, connecting the coolant to the engine has a part the hose hold onto and it was blown off because the bottom of the part it hooks onto was disintegrated. So it didn't have enough of the part to properly hold it on. Now I've never seen a car and I caught this off the back, having done a full diagnostic they shoulda been like hey this part connecting to your engine is Highly Important and should probably be done before the cap and/ or even the tank. And they just jipped me for nothing. The car is worse than it was, 4 way hose it fixed and now I had to call AAA have them take it to 76 miles away to my regular shop because everyone said it , instead of them helping me by fixing their mistake, mis information and all that they might do it but they'll charge me and na I wasted all our money and then some. All for us to have to pay more and my fiancé's boss fired her because way too much issues were arising with the car and getting there on time or having a ride to work or being too focused on another issue (the car). So I'm totally unsatisfied and am wondering why not change things that actually mattered I don't mind the money just the service was not as expected if it was going to be like that then I would've just gone to the hole in the wall a few blocks up from where I live. NOT IMPRESSED BY WORK AND/ or SERVICE 0 stars if I could !!!! Would not recommend they don't have good prices and my dad showed me his previous service receipts and he's already had the tank replaced so super bad. I have a 750Li that was lowered on H&R springs by another shop (long story short, you get what you pay for), one day as I was driving the chassis light came on and as I pulled into church my car basically looked like it was on hydraulics. I was very upset that this happened and did not want to go back to the previous shop who installed them as I didn't trust them touching my car, I also didn't want to go to the dealer in fear of them ripping me off. I friend referred Ken and Funfzehn, when I called Ken he was very professional and was very familiar with my car and potential diagnosis. It could have been a number of issues but he was able to give me a very fair price estimate over the phone. When I arrived the shop was very clean and was full of cars being worked on. I showed up at 9:45am on Monday with no previous appointment, the garage bay was full of guys working on cars and when I pulled up they quickly fixed my issue. No more than 5 minutes of them taking it back, they pulled it up front and it was fixed. Ken didn't even charge me for the fix, and when I offered to at least buy him lunch he refused. I never expected anything like this, in fact, I was so anxious in trusting any shop with my car after what happened with the first shop. I can't thank Ken enough, I will definitely be bringing my car back here in the future. I had the best experience here after taking my car to Crevier BMW for service on an item that should have been covered by the extended CPO warranty but they never advised me of it. They wrote up the invoice for the service at a whopping $980!! When I brought it in to Funfzehn for a second quote for breaks and the oil gasket leak, Kenneth was kind enough to advise me the oil gasket leak should be covered by the warranty. The BMW dealers always want ridiculous estimate money just to tell me what I already know. With that being said, I ran into a pickle last week with my vehicle that I was not able to diagnose for myself. I searched yelp for independent shops in my area and I ran into Ken's fine establishment. I decided to stop by, and I would have to say I was really impressed by the overall aesthetics of the shop. I've had several BMWs throughout the last 20 years and have went through several different dealers and shops. Kenneth was referred to me by a friend and had excellent reviews on yelp. If you're lucky enough to have him work on your car he is the best. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable at what he does but his prices are very reasonable. I have shopped around and his prices were comparable if not lower than other BMW repair shops. I had an oil leak in my BMW and other shops quoted me higher than what I paid at Kenneth's shop. Another testament to his skill set is just look at the cars that he servicing, they are high-end performance vehicles. These people with extremely expensive cars trust Kenneth so maybe you should give him a shot. Once again I recommend him and I'm pretty confident you'll be more than satisfied with the service that he provides. Last but not least his communication skills are great. OMG!!! I'm so impressed by these guys!!! If you're looking for a BMW mechanic, look no more!!! These guys are the real deal!!! I had another mechanic try to fix my X5 and then tell me I had to replace the head gaskets on top of what was already done and that it would be over 4,000 to do it. So In search for a 2nd opinion I found Funfzehn online and read all their reviews. Let me tell you that from the first phone call speaking to Tim to taking my car in for an inspection and meeting the owner Ken who explained everything he would do to ensure he would tell me exactly what was wrong and provide me a fair price, I was pretty happy about the experience. When Ken called to tell me that it wasn't the head gaskets and what the real problem was and what was wrong with what the other guy did and that he could fix it all for a lot less, WOW I never thought I'd find a place like this!!!
