What a great concept. Given how popular American Ninja Warrior is, I'm surprised there aren't more places like this. This is a very basic version of the ones featured on TV show, but still quite challenging and provides just enough variety to appeal to the whole family. I mainly bought a ticket for my son but also got to try some of the courses since I purchased a guardian pass. There are two main areas. The inflatable section is good for little kids. It has inflatable slides, and the whole area is basically a huge bouncy room. The main area is composed of more challenging obstacle courses sectioned off by difficulty level. I wish this place would provide some instruction or show a video on how to do some of the courses as I wasn't sure on some of them. There's a cafe and private rooms for large parties, which I assume would require advance reservation and fee. Tickets can be purchased at the facility, or you can purchase in advance on its website. Everyone entering the facility must sign a waiver. It's located on the second floor of Santa Ana Main Place by JC Penney. Parking structure 4 is the closest area to park.

It's cheaper to get tickets from Groupon than buying directly from them. I got the 1hour voucher and felt like that was plenty of time. Sign the waiver before you check in tho. During check in, they'll ask if you would like to buy their sock so you can go into the inflatable obstacle course area (it's optional if you buy it, but entrance include both the regular and inflatable course). There's free lockers to use to put your belonging and shoes. The regular course included 5 different course. Start from the left and difficulty increases as you go to the right. This is such a workout, but fun. Some areas are def harder than others. The staff was super friendly and nice and made sure everyone was safe. The inflatable course was a bit on the easier side (it's made for kids). There's climbing stairs, slides, and rock climbing. The bathroom is also pretty clean!

We went to the Ninja on New Years today because they had a deal that was too good to pass up: $5 for 60 min. They also have a winter deal running now for $10 for 90 min. There is a parent pass for $3.99 those accompanying kids under 8 but this wasn't available with the special deals. Normal prices are $23.99 for 60 min ($21.99 online) and $29.99 for 90 min ($26.99 online). So definitely always book online first instead of at the park and check for any running promos. Grip socks from Funparx are required for the inflatable for $3.50 per person and they have a lot of sizes to match your shoe size. These socks are different from other grip socks we have because the grip is at the front and very strong. We booked in the morning for a group of 6 and by lunchtime, timeslots from 12-3 were sold out. We were given information on the best /closest place to park. Booking online, we could fill out our waivers first online so that we could be ready for check-in and getting socks as soon as we arrived. There are 3 computers to fill out waivers there if you didn't do so beforehand. The person checking us in was very helpful at explaining things and friendly. There is a long row of free lockers right when you walk in for you to put your purse/wallet/jackets etc. A few of the lockers were not working. Don't put your shoes in there because after you walk in, there are shelves for your shoes by the inflatable section and you can also leave your water bottle there for easy access while playing. Since my son almost 4 years old, I was wondering how much of the courses he could do. It was very pleasantly surprised. As long as there is an adult with him, he could do all of the inflatable area. And he can even go through the ninja warrior area with a parent to lift him through. There isn't anything too dangerous for young ones even though they're on the same course as everyone. The ninja course area is 5 different courses parallel with each other. Other people there was good about waiting in line and waiting for others to pass through if they needed more time. We all had such a blast! Within 15 minutes we were all soaked in sweat. It really is fun for all ages - whether you are just bouncing around on the inflatable or trying to get through a certain section of the course. There isn't much air circulation / airflow there so it's very hot and stuffy. Hopefully that could be improved. There was one section of the course that wasn't working but it was clearly marked. Also when booking online, it says there will be a safety briefing 3-5 minutes before the start of the session but we didn't get one or see where it is. There wasn't a person to check our wristbands upon entering or at the end of your time because there is a long wait at the check-in area. It does require some time to check-in with multiple large groups in front of you so give yourself plenty of time by arriving early before your timeslot. I would love to go again next time using the parent pass (2 max per family)!

We recently celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at FunParx, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The kids had a blast--especially on the obstacle courses and the inflatables. It was the perfect balance of safe, high-energy fun that kept everyone entertained the entire time. The communication with the FunParx staff was excellent, both before and during the party. Booking was incredibly easy and the whole process felt smooth and organized. I really appreciated being able to use the push cart to transport all of our things to and from the car--it made setup and cleanup so much easier. They even stored our cake in the fridge for us, which was a huge help. The staff deserve a special shout-out for being so friendly, patient, and professional. They were always nearby, ready to assist and offer support whenever needed. Alyssa was amazing--so kind and helpful in planning the party and answering all my questions. She went above and beyond by surprising my daughter with the sweetest capybara plush to match her party theme. It truly made my daughter's day even more special. Joy was also fantastic! She helped serve the guests, played games with the kids, and even handed out coupons at the end of the party for their next visit. FunParx's flexibility, accommodations, and attention to detail made the whole experience less stressful and enjoyable. The cost was a great value for what we received. We left feeling so grateful and impressed. Overall, it was a fantastic celebration with exceptional customer service and memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

This was a really fun experience to do with a group of friends or for a date! I'm 5'3 and felt like some of the portions of the course was hard to do since I wasn't tall enough. But nonetheless it was still fun! We booked a 1 hour time slot and finished within an 45 min. We arrived before the 7pm slot, which is the last slot before closing!

Love this place!! So clean, affordable and such a fun time for the kids! If you are going to get a membership anywhere for your child this is the place!! Even the food is affordably priced. All the employees are great and helpful as well!!

Super fun activity for kids and adults! At first I felt a bit uncomfortable because there were a lot of kids. But after a while you learn that you are all there to have fun and to try something new. They had quite a number of children there but the obstacles vary by difficulty. They had some workers on the floor to provide support or to cheer us on. These courses were no joke! I posted videos to show how difficult they could be. They offered a one or two hour option but honestly one hour is enough! You are doing a lot of physical activity so you will sweat and get tired! I think we were on the active floor for about 35 minutes. They have about 5 obstacle courses at different levels. I was able to complete the first one but the last one was super challenging and I could not complete it. They also had a large bounce house with slides and obstacles where you had to climb.  There was a sign in the front that said it is cheaper online but I could not find an individual ticket or for a party of two. If you look online they offer memberships or party packages only.  In person I purchased the one hour for 2 people + grip socks which cost a total $46.96. I highly recommend bringing water and taking breaks when you need them and to stretch! They play a quick tutorial video before you start so you know the dos and don't. They have a lot of lockers available for free to store your items and if you don't know how to use them you can ask the workers there.  It is located in Mainplace Mall on the side near Macy's where parking is free. I took my little cousin to try it out and we would like to take friends/ family there too! It is a great place to celebrate a birthday with their large seating area or to do a physical activity.

Fun for kids and adults alike!!! We came in on a Sunday afternoon, and it felt like equal parts adults and kids using the courses. Definitely more kids in the "bouncy" obstacle area and adults on the rest of them it seemed. These courses are no joke! As many other reviews stated, my partner and I got 90 minute passes but could barely last an hour! We both felt that this was a great workout. It was fun and challenging. The sense of accomplishment we both felt finally getting a course after trying a few times was unmatched. We're already planning to come back. I will echo what some other reviewers said and say watch out for kids! Signs state only one person on a course at a time, but that wasn't the case. Some small kids were weaving in and out, so stay alert! I saw on the TVs there that the third Thursday evening of each month is adults only -- would be fun to check out!

Great experience for my kids especially my daughter who had her birthday there with 10 of her friends. It's very clean and the people who work there are very nice. Get the party package if you want something easy yet, fun and enjoyable for everyone and any age.

I would love to have my son's birthday party here but I see no outside food is allowed? Is that correct? How do you keep adults entertained while the kids play? Your menu is limited and there's not even fruit or vegetables on there. It seems silly

They've recently changed rules so that you can bring outside food as long as it's not something they have in their cafe for $50. Kids play for an hour; it's not long for adults to hang out and watch the kids and chat.

Is it just for kids? Any teen or adult obstacle courses?

They're for all ages. The courses are challenging at any fitness level I think.

When my 5 year old tried to go into the smaller kid area (ages 4 and under) she was asked to leave by the female teenage employee at the entrance. This was at the same time that a 10 year old girl had been playing in there the past 20-30 minutes. When my daughter came to me crying I tried to walk her in there thinking it must not be a big deal because there were a few big kids in there, who looked to be around ages 8-10. I was surprised to be turned away by that same employee (while the other big kids were still in there). So confusing! I pointed this out and she said "that girl is sitting" (she had been hanging all over the merry go round just minutes before, which is right next to where she was standing at the entrance) and then the employee said "she also has a little brother here" (he looked about 4 or 5). So then I said "okay so can my daughter stay because my 2 year old wants to play in here" she then told us no and blocked us from entering. I went to the front desk and told that girl about the situation and she got the manager. He explained that it's for safety WHICH I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND - but then take out the other big kids so it's not confusing for anyone! He finally did have the bigger kids removed, and there were about 4-5 other way bigger kids than my daughter. It felt like we were being singled out by the staff here. They said they asked the other people to leave the area but they "didn't listen." Lol. So people like me and my daughter who listened were the only ones removed I guess. I guess you can just act like you don't understand and you get to break the rules, even if the rules are there for everyone else's "safety." This could be a learning opportunity for the staff here but you can go find out for yourself. I wanted to avoid this word but it truly felt like discrimination based on us being the only family removed. We won't be returning.

This year, I wanted to do something different and give myself a break from all the planning, setup, cleanup, and stress. I chose Kids Empire after attending another birthday party here that was so well done. I expected to have that same experience, but unfortunately, ours was the complete opposite. We hosted our daughter's 5th birthday on Thursday, July 11, with about 40 guests. I dropped off our balloons, cake, and drinks ahead of time and was told I didn't need to arrive early because everything would be set up. Thankfully, I did anyway because almost nothing had been put out except the tablecloths, cups, and Kids Empire's drinks. I ended up setting everything up myself. The biggest concern was safety. Both restrooms were closed due to plumbing issues, forcing our guests to walk to Target just to use the restroom. Meanwhile, the back exit door was left wide open for the plumber with no employee monitoring it. Parents from my party stood by the door because we were worried children could accidentally walk outside. When we expressed our concerns, the only response was, "It's open for the plumber." Our party package included seven pizzas, but Kids Empire forgot to order them. We didn't find out until we asked where they were around 6:30. The pizzas didn't arrive until 7:40--after our party had ended--so I ended up giving away full pizza boxes for families to take home. We were also told the dragon mascot would come out, but instead of interacting with the kids, it was only a rushed photo before we were hurried along. I will say the local manager was kind, empathetic, and did everything she could to help. Tried offering free passes to come back. She followed up with me and escalated everything to the regional manager. Unfortunately, the overall handling of the situation still left me disappointed. When the regional manager took away the passes to come back. I chose to have the party here so I could relax and enjoy my daughter's special day instead of worrying about the details. Instead, I found myself handling many of the things I paid the venue to take care of while dealing with issues that should never happen at a children's party. Sadly, I can't recommend hosting a birthday party here. Many parents at our party told me it was their first time visiting Kids Empire, and after everything they witnessed, several said they wouldn't be coming back. Unfortunately, I won't be referring anyone here either.

Restrooms were super clean which is a plus. My son enjoyed the many options of fun games. We will definitely return as we were both impressed. Customer Service was top notch as well.

My frustration was with the way management handled changes to party packages. I booked and prepaid for my son's birthday party in June (for a July party) during a promotion. Before the party, I even called the party hotline twice to go over the details of my reservation, and at no point was I told that the attraction tiers had changed or that there would be optional upgrades available. When we checked in with seven excited kids ready to play, I was told I would need to pay additional fees as their packages had changed. Mind you, I had already paid the $200 for the party in June. I had to pay $35 for an extra kid because the new package included 5, not 6 kids. In addition, I had to pay an additional $9 per child if I wanted everyone to have access to the attractions they wanted to use. That wasn't the time to be making an unexpected spending decision, and realistically I wasn't going to tell a group of kids that some of them couldn't participate. (I was prepared to pay for one extra kid and an extra pizza). We ended up paying $360 instead of the $260 I had budgeted. To add to the confusion, I also didn't receive the balloons that were included with my party package. After reaching out to management, they explained that the attraction tiers had changed after I booked and clarified how the pricing worked. While I still think the communication leading up to the event could have been much better, I do appreciate that they took the time to respond, acknowledged that the communication wasn't clear, and offered two complimentary Unlimited Play passes and a large pizza as a goodwill gesture. My suggestion to Urban Air would be simple: if party packages change after customers have already booked, proactively notify them before their event. It would avoid confusion, unexpected charges at check-in, and allow parents to make informed decisions before arriving with a group of excited kids. What would be even better is that when you book a package, you are locked into that price and details instead of it changing. I would be really hesitant to book another party here because I wouldn't know what price I would ultimately be paying day of. Overall, the kids had a blast, and we'd likely return to play. I just hope the communication around birthday parties improves, because that's what took away from an otherwise fun celebration.
