We walked in and I noticed a lot of dry pee spots throughout the store an a LOT of barking as we neared the Groomers. I was starting to be a little hesitant to drop him off but after waiting in line a good 8 minutes or so, we both calmed down a bit. I made an appointment online for the brush n bath and knew the price was going to be about $80. I told the gentleman at the front that my pup also needed his nails cut bad and he upsold me on the Essentials plus. (They really do try and upsell here and will try to get you to do the membership package and bill you every month.) My total grooming was $93 but let me tell you it was THE BEST GROOM my pup has ever had!! His fur is so soft (even after a week) Bailey did the best job. I don't want my pup to loose his curls so I just like him to be air dried. I've requested this before at Petsmart an he was given back to me damp with no real type of cut what so ever! It was horrible! I will continue to go to Petco and ask for Bailey!! All the dogs that came out from being groomed looked great! You even get the 8 groomers free! Thanks Bailey!

This was even after explaining what was happening. The next recommended vet said, "We can see you as soon as Monday." This left us no choice other but to "Google" local options. I chose CityVet because it was close. Our first experience with CityVet in Cedar Hill was one of compassion, understanding, & honesty. They even sent a sympathy card a few weeks later with personal messages from every staff member.

They gave him a breathing treatment but he looked worn down after the seizure and was no longer able to walk. We had to make the decision to allow him to cross over the rainbow to doggy heaven. The decision was very difficult for me but the staff was very supportive and sympathetic. I was able to love him for 14 great years and we had our favorite treat the night before, strawberries.

My dog had previously had bad experiences at other groomers because of his separation anxiety when he's taken away to the back where he can't see me. This place is different! My dog was less anxious and actually sat through his bath looking at me from the table. They are so friendly here and truly dog lovers!!! Anyone that can tame my little beast is awesome in my book. Update to review: I have emailed the owner over 3 times and…read moreshe has not responded. They clearly don't really care about anyone's experience. Never go to this location. My dog was injured at this location and I was never notified. I picked her up and she had a huge hole on her side that was infected. The front desk said she was bit and manager said it was due to play. I brought her to the vet and it was infected and needed stitches but due to Camp Bow Wow (manager Lisa) failing to provide proper care, it was too late. The vet said either a dog dug it's nail in it or more likely was stabbed by a fence not properly secured. Camp Bow Wow failed to provide medical attention to my dog. The manager is extremely rude and gaslights. On the phone she told me she'd pay for my medical expense and review video with me when I went on site. When I went on-site, she said the opposite and acted like I was lying. She changed the story to there is now no footage when she told me she investigated it and part of the process is having footage. She even tried to blame the new front desk girl for her lack of providing proper training. All around terrible experience. I asked her for the owners contact information and she refused to give it to me and she said it's up to the owner to contact me. Lisa is terrible and so is this location. I feel bad for the employees and worry about all pets safety here.

Because the staff pays such close attention to the dogs in their care, they noticed a problem early on. JoJo had been acting completely normal at drop-off, but a couple days into her stay, they sensed something was wrong and trusted their instincts.They immediately stepped up and took JoJo to the emergency vet. Mandie stayed by JoJo's side when we couldn't, acting as her comfort and protector while we cut our trip short and raced back home. Even after we returned to town and took over, Mandie constantly checked in on JoJo to see how she was doing.The most incredible part is that we didn't even really know Mandie, and we have never met her in person. JoJo had only been there for daycare and boarding a handful of times. For Mandie and the staff to treat JoJo with this level of devotion, love, and urgency is truly extraordinary. They didn't just board our dog; they saved her life and looked after our family during a terrifying time. We will never take JoJo anywhere else!
