We put a dining set on layaway for 3 months. When we went to pay the balance off they informed us that they no longer carry the set we put on layaway. So they refunded me the money I paid that day but as for the rest of our money they said they would have to order a refund check to be mailed to us. After waiting another month for my refund I called to ask about it. Turns out they had the refund check there at the store but never informed me and never mailed it to me like they promised. So now they are supposedly mailing me my refund check. We shall see. Horrible customer service with this transaction do not ever do layaway with this company because you pay but they lay nothing away for you. You are basically paying them without any guarantee that you will get the product you wanted. Ridiculous! read more

This is by far the best shopping experience we have had in a long time!! It is never easy having to buy new furniture for your living room especially when you have kids!! We bought our sofa set here and it was a hassle free experience the salesman was professional and answered all our questions. The best part is we were allowed to walk around by ourselves to find what we were looking for then as we looked for a salesman he politely came over and wasn't pushy about our purchase at all. This is the second purchase we have made there and both experiences were just as easy and both times we were able to get great deals on all the furniture purchased!! This bedroom furniture store is located in the same building as The Denver Mattress Co. From the outside it looks like separate stores, but when you go inside it is one big warehouse. After making our purchase at the Denver Mattress Co. we needed a bed frame so we went next door. Everything was on sale. We also got an additional 10% discount from purchasing our mattress. Our king sized bed frame was marked down to $850 from $1,100. They were also able to deliver the bed frame and mattress at the same time and set it up. On the day of delivery when the movers unpacked the bedframe a large crack was noticed all the way across the top of trhe headboard. They had not noticed this when they loaded it in the truck early that morning. They offered to let us keep it and give us a discount. They also called the store and happened to have another in stock. Since I did not want a broken bed frame, the delivery men went back to the store and got the other bedframe and then returned to set it up. I am giving them 4 stars because of this issue. We were called at 9am delivery day with a delivery time. We were told that our merchandise would be delivered between 11am-1:30pm. Of course they showed up right at 1:30 and then had that mishap with bedframe so that requried us to wait around another 2 hours. I just think they should have paid closer attention to the merchandise before loading it on the van. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting around all day for stuff like this and then end up having to wait longer. Otherwise this is a great company and I would probably do business here again. read more

Bedroom Expressions advertised for Black Friday that they were having a sale. In their newspaper ad I found a bed frame with matching bedroom set that I fell in love with! I woke up early on Friday (doors opened at 6AM) and went to Bedroom Expressions to purchase my $599 bedroom special. Upon arrival I received NO attention from ANY associate. They were all sitting around on their phones while customers were wandering around looking around. I approached one of the men and showed him the ad telling him I wanted to know where my Black Friday interest was located in the store so I could look at and hopefully buy. I was told that they didn't have it on the floor nor did they have it in store, it would have to be ordered. When I asked why would they have it in their ad but not available for purchase, I was told the ad came out months ago but they didn't know what would be in it. I was then offered to purchase a bedframe that didn't come in a set and was nowhere close to the look I showed him I liked. It also was $99. If I owned this company I think I would be extremely disappointed to learn not only are my employees offering what I paid top dollar to have in a Black Friday Newspaper but also offering a customer something for $99 when they were willing to spend $600? The man offered me no apology or anything to better my sour taste. I left unhappy and wen to another Furniture store and spent my money. Way to lose out on a sale! read more

I went in to look a specific recliner that matched our living room furniture. When I was thinking about purchasing it, the sales person stated that they have 90 days same as cash NO INTEREST financing. I thought, "Hey, that's cool and easy to pay off" so I went with that. IT'S NOT FINANCING!!! IT'S LEASING! I got a phone call from a leasing company a couple days later, Progressive Leasing - HORRIBLE company by the way, they can't keep their paperwork straight and stories correct. Either way, the plan was to pay it off in 90 days, I didn't care as long as there wasn't any interest. Well, the Furniture Row salesperson lied to me about my supposed "first payment" which was required for $79. IT'S NOT a first payment. It's a leasing charge. So now, I'm paying $79 more for furniture than I wanted and a month later the leasing company can't get their stuff right at all. NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN, will I ever buy furniture from this company. Stick with Garrison's because they won't lie and they have quality furniture. read more

worst customer service ever. I ordered sofa and chair to Dan. After taking all my money, then that's when he said oh by the way your order will arrive in three weeks! But three weeks had passed..... I called them, said it will be 3-6 more weeks?! Don't buy.. Dan will sales talk you and be nice to you until he gets the sale.... Just saying be careful.... You need to ask them to write on the reciept when they will deliver it or approximately when... Be careful with Dan too. read more

We enjoyed working with Shawn while trying out various recliners. Finally chose one, waited weeks for it to come in, then had it delivered. After a week's use, the seat area looked like we'd sat in it for years. And we're lightweights. Shawn told us some leather chairs have "wrinkled" seats and some don't. Within 2 weeks, we requested a refund (talked to a rude Ronnie), but were told that they would exchange, but not refund. So, we proceeded to contact them to exchange it for the same model they had on the floor. At that point, all communication came to a half. No resolution, no attempt to work things out. It was not an inexpensive chair. It seems unless we go there and get feisty, they will continue to ignore the problem. It's unfortunate, because we liked the store and its selection, and would like to go back. Perhaps they need to improve their customer service policies. read more

Worst experience ever purchasing a couch and love seat from these people. Starting with our first visit when some lady gave us her business card and left us to look around. Once we selected our purchase we went to the front to wait for her roughly a half hour. We were completely ignored by every single person there and then said lady left the store without acknowledging us. We went back a few days later and actually purchased a couch and love seat. They told us it would be there in 14 days. We received the love seat and were told the couch would be there the following Sunday. (Prior to Christmas) so three weeks total. Well that Sunday came and went. We called again and they said Wednesday the 20th. Never showed up. So they told us Friday the 22nd. Again, not there. I called Sunday morning after they told Me it would be there on Saturday to Meet our needs for Christmas as my entire family was going to be at my house. Guess what, still not there! So I call this morning as the guy I talked to Sunday said it would be there today. And surprise surprise... not there and supposedly coming in tomorrow. This place is a joke! No one cares. And thanks to them. My family sat on the tile floor and lawn chairs. I can promise that I will never do business here and I will definitely not recommend them to any of my friends or family. read more

Went in with my mother with the hopes of buying a new futon and desk for my room... there were a bunch of people around, customers and sales associates alike. We were not greeted, nor were we offered any assistance throughout the duration of our visit. We walked from one end of the store to the other and saw nothing but employees whom were standing around eating and enjoying each other's company. Also after I told the sales rep what I needed as far as measurements he thought it would be a good idea to show me sectionals that would never fit in my apartment. I saw ads on TV that Furniture Row was having a great sale over Labor Day weekend. I was looking to fill the new condo I just moved in to. I walked in to Furniture Row and the whole time I was there I was not approached by a single person. Not a welcome; what are you looking for?; not a peep. And it wasn't busy, maybe two couples. As I walked around, I wasn't feeling a Sale. You know, the excitement you get when you're hopefully going to find something you love for a great price. I finally got to the back corner of the store (where most places have their biggest sales) and found a couple of large "leather?" couches marked down with large areas of "leather?" rubbed off - you could see the stuffing. If I were in the business, I wouldn't want any potential client to see such poor quality. It was cheap junk. Which made me take a second look at everything else they were selling. So as I continued walking, I had a different impression; that of being a possible victim of overpaying for poor quality furniture, as well as a staff who is inattentive and don't really care. Even the accessories looked cheap and I really didn't see Sale signs. Maybe they were discounting everything in the store, but I was never approached and told otherwise. I won't return. There are better places to shop...Craigslist anyone?? read more
