Your average pub, pool, darts, booze, local bands and cover bands a lot of nights. Small bar, but the bartenders rock. Outside smokers deck. The pub grub is way above average. Simply the best. Amazing staff! The only bar in Dover that I recommend. They always have live bands and a great environment. Have The liquor magician (a.k.a. This is more Bar than restaurant. We were there around 5:30 for dinner. The place seemed to be understaffed with the bartender serving double duty as the waitress in an ever increasingly busy environment. There were some things on the menu that they were out of and that was fine we were made aware of these before ordering. My wife ordered the caesars salad with chicken. My food came out first nice and hot but the waitress apologized that the Caesar was ready but they were out of dressing. So my wife took Blue cheese instead. Went here on Saturday night due to a suggestion from my sister. We were out for my other sisters bachelorette party and we ordered our drinks, found a table, and were enjoying ourselves until about 5 minutes in, the band started playing. Now, the type of music isn't what bugged me, I actually enjoy it every once in a while (I compared it to the entire soundtrack of Queen of the Damned) but it was WAY too loud. My entire group, including a few other people across the bar, were cringing and had to cover their ears the whole time. So much for enjoying ourselves with light conversation! We quickly finished our drinks and left, after wasting the cover money considering we were there for 10 minutes. Most people like live music and also talking with the people they are out with. We stopped here for live music after dinner. There was a 5.00 per person cover at the door. The bouncer took our EMPTY roadie cups?? WT?? One was even cracked. I said they are empty. He said I still have to take them?? But whatever. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because my bf really enjoyed the band playing. But they started at 11 when the sign said 9pm. The bartenders sucked and wouldn't make eye contact. And we were probably the oldest ones in the crowd. Probably no reason for me to return to Dover, NH so doubt I will be back. read more

Went here last night for the first time to see the final Gnarlemegne show. We got there a couple of hours early so we could have dinner and drinks before the show. The menu is not very big however they do offer some unique dish's which we decided to indulge in. For an appetizer we had bacon wrapped scallops with a maple syrup glaze. I know sounds strange but it was really good! I had an open faced turkey sandwich for my entree that was excellent and very filling! The prices were very reasonable as well. As the bar started to fill in we ordered a couple of drinks and the bartenders were very quick, personable, and fun! The drinks were mixed well and priced reasonably. As for the show, Fury's was a perfect place for their final send off. I live about an hour away but would be willing to drive here to see another local band or even for some food and drinks. It boasts a fun, local, atmosphere with good down to earth people. read more

Awesome! I've been to Fury's for dinner and late night for the music. I went to Biddy's before it was Fury's and the space is so much better than it used to be... The menu is not what you would expect. I went in CRAVING a burger (But there wasn't one :( )- but ended up splitting a Grilled Caesar, a hummus sandwich(I added the bacon, couldn't resist the hype and man- It was great!) and a lamb dinner and I was pleasantly surprised.. The music I saw on Saturday Night was great... I hope this place lives up to what it promises. read more

Just went to FPH last night with five other friends. Sat at a table not at the bar and waited for service. When none came I went to get menus at the bar and was told that we would get waited on soon after the taps at the bar were fixed. Our order was eventually ready and my other friends were served. I waited for my meal thinking it would be coming soon. When it never came we went to the bar but our waitress had been seen leaving to have a cigarette. Another bar tender went to inquire and the explanation was that the machine that prints the order "ran out". I finally got my meal after everyone else was done. We chased a bar tender to get our check and happily I was not charged for my meal. Everyone's food was good but I was totally disappointed I'm sure they'll not want to return. because I had chosen this place to show my friends. Not a very good advertisement. Have been here for beer, darts, and socializing many times. Leave it at that! Skip eating. With this type of experience I can't imagine what the place will be like on St. Patrick's Day when it is mobbed. read more
