Pros: - broth was a bit salty but had nice flavor - you can pick and choose the toppings - The pork was nice and tender. (You can't see it from the picture but there was some small pork pieces in the broth as well. ) Cons: - the portion is small. This was with the extra noodles (additional charge of $3) - noodles were soft with no bite - it's pricey! $23 (with the $3 extra noodle) for this small bowl of mediocre ramen! Door dash offered a 40% discount but I don't think I would order if it was without the discount. I'm glad I got to try it. For a fast casual restaurant, I gotta say this place surprised me! I went in solely focused on sushi, so I can't comment on the bowls. I liked their sushi roll options, so I went with the spicy tuna roll instead of customizing. Although I tasted zero spice, the roll was very yummy! A solid choice that I would order again! I LOVE Fusian. Been a loyal customer for like 10 years, been to many different locations. Just went to the Easton location and was super disappointed with their drinks. They are DEFINITELY cutting their drinks with water at this location. Haven't had this issue here before, but I know what to expect from their drinks and these are almost unbearable. I cut my toddler's drinks with water. I don't need them diluting a $3+ drink for me. Not even a little bit either, like I'm betting they used 2-3x the amount of water they're supposed to use. Miso soup also sucked today. Don't know if they changed their tofu product or what, but it was slimy and weird, not like any miso soup tofu I've ever had... The people working were very nice, though. Warm and friendly. Still will be returning to Fusian, but will be eyeing the drinks before I pay for one. read more

I've been meeting a co-worker/friend for lunch on a monthly basis for over a year now. We've been making our rounds trying new (to us) Easton restaurants - the most recent ones that offer make your own "bowls." I had checked out the menu of Fusian online and offered it for our next meet-up. The idea was gladly accepted and we made our plans. My first concern was access. Fusian is located in a land-locked area of Easton with limited entrances and exits. Additionally, the parking is not always positioned very well. Despite these concerns, I headed over and hoped for the best. I had looked for the location of the restuarant online so I knew where to park (in general) and not have to walk too far. I got lucky and quickly found a spot right where I had aimed. And this was after getting into the area without a problem (it's getting out and back onto Stelzer going the right direction which can be a b*tch). My friend was arriving just as I was. Perfect! This restaurant is much like other bowl places - where you work through line and order your food and selected "toppings" as you move down the line. I had opted for a greens bowl with roasted tofu. I love roasted tofu - just not enough to make it myself at home. My friend ordered what she thought were egg roll types things - 2 of them. She placed her ordered and they worked it up while I worked my bowl down the line. Drinks - they do no have fountain soft drinks - only a few canned soda and fountain drinks I've never heard of. So I got water. My friend got a can of Coke. We picked up silverware and found an open table to sit at. As it turns out - my friend ended up with 2 orders of what she called a CA roll type this. Not what she had planned to order but good all the same. She offered me one (order had 6) but I had piled on EVERYTHING on my bowl. Actually - lots of healthy stuff and no dressing. But it was LOADED. So I declined her offer. Needless to say, I dug into my bowl and ate the whole thing! It was delicious. Although, when you get to build your own - can you really go that wrong?? Pricewise - I think the cost was in line with other places. I was very ticked off that the promtional coupon I had would not load to the app and the cashier was unable to help me with it. That was honestly why I had picked this place out. Another bonus - no drink cost since they don't have what I like. And finally, no server to tip. All to say - I like the total being much lower than having table service at other restaurants. I hate spending over $20 for lunch. And this trip was only around $13. Getting out of the area was not too bad. So I guess it's much better during the day - as opposed to shopping over at Whole Foods on the weekend or any time in the evening. Will I be back? Nope. Hubby doesn't like this food and I don't foresee suggesting it myself. Been there, done that. And I'm still pissed about not being able to use my coupon. I love Fusian. All clean and healthy ingredients. I don't feel guilty eating here as it is loaded with goodness. They add generous amounts of filling in the sushi. I love their shrimp tempura with tempura topping; it is my favorite sushi here. I tried their dessert mango sticky rice as a togo order, and I hated it. To begin with, it wasn't packaged well. They had packed the rice in a regular size transparent plastic cup, and it was topped with few mango pieces. It was too oily and fatty. I ordered Fusian through DoorDash, so this review is based on my takeout experience. I love that you have the option to make a customizable roll. I got an inside out roll with white rice, seaweed, avocado (small up charge), asparagus, carrot, cucumber, scallion, and sweet pepper. I got it topped with spicy Mayo and tempura crunch. The spicy Mayo was not very spicy, so next time I think I will also get it topped with siracha! I don't think I will get the tempura flakes again as they got a little soggy. They also reminded me a little bit of Rice Krispies cereal. You get 10 pieces of sushi and I think my roll ended up being around $11. The other person in my party got the spring chicken roll. I've never seen a sushi roll with chicken in it, so that was an interesting touch! We walked in to no line and the first thing that struck me was the aesthetic of the place. It was different from their Grandview and Clintonville locations and I really liked it, especially the giant mural on the wall. If you've never been here before, the best way to describe it is like Chipotle for sushi. You can choose a meal from the menu or you can build it yourself, which is what I do. I always get a roll but they offer a bowl option as well. The fella taking my order listened well and gave me exactly what I wanted. It was great! I ordered a shrimp tempura roll with avocado, cucumber, carrots, and jalapeno. I also got chives and sesame seeds sprinkled on top along with their spicy mayo and sweet soy sauces (their most popular sauce pairing). I also got lemonade to wash it all down and my total came to about $11. Very affordable! We grabbed a table outside on the patio and dove right in. It was delicious and I'm so glad we made this decision for lunch. I left full and happy! Needless to say, I love this concept with sushi and the price is spot on! This location of Fusian has the best rate of accuracy in my order. It's always made right and with the perfect proportions of ingredients. It's rolled tight with not too much sauce on top which I appreciate. The cucumbers in the cucumber salad were fresh cut and cold. The gyoza have good flavor, I would personally just prefer if they were pan seared as opposed to deep fried but that's personal preference. Such a cool concept. Basically this is Chipotle/Subway/Build your own...SUSHI! You can get different wraps, proteins, rice, and fill it almost to your hear's content with veggies and other things. KNowing me, the hardest part was not to overfill and/or have the flavors get lost. THe fish was fresh, the rice was warm, the veggies were crisp, and the staff was friendly. I got two sizeable rolls for takeout and the price was under $20. The interior is a lot of dark stone and hard edges, very hip. Great stop for a quick bite, or a sit and nosh. read more

What a unique place and I now wish I had one back home!! I was on my way from the airport to head to hotel and needed to grab dinner. This place is at Easton so we headed there. This is set up where you build your own sushi or can order from ones they suggest. Love this idea! I like being able to see all the ingredients to choose from. I decided to do brown rice and seaweed. I went with the raw salmon, cream cheese, avocado, and asparagus. Then I topped it with Tempura crunchies, crab, and spicy mayo. I got sweet soy sauce on the side to dip! I also got a drink since they had some unique teas/lemonades. They had a lavender lemonade that was so delicious!! I loved this place. DOORDASH REVIEW: Decent meal with nothing differentiating their sushi from other places. I'm not sure what I was expecting different, but the rolls tasted more on the bland side. I ordered a FUSIAN Flight (Shrimp tempura, crab) and veggie gyoza (potstickers). Food was a good temperature. The potstickers didn't have the best flavor to me and I wouldn't get them again. Prices were a bit on the high (but pretty normal with sushi). Again, everything tasted more like it had been prepared in the morning and left in the fridge all day or under a heat lamp. We arrive about an hour prior to then closing, and got in line. There was a gentleman being helped with on girl waiting. There were at least 3 people, if not 4, working, but only one helping the customers.... and it was taking awhile. The girl ahead of me had a larger order, no big deal. However, when another staff member came to help us (after realizing how long we had been there waiting), the person already making the rolls, refused to allow her to help us; he stated that 'they' needed to help what he was working on. Seriously?! While the customer service hasn't been quite what it was the last few times we have have been there, this was a whole new low. I am new to the sushi thing. Not very knowledgeable about the different rolls or options. I tried a "king kong" roll at a CM restaurant in town and loved it. And ever since wanted to try more. I drive by Fusian everyday on my way into the office. So i decided to look up their site. I was happy to see that they have a (i apologize for the over used comparison....) "Chipotle style" ordering. I figured it would be oerfect for me to actually see what the options I could have. So i stopped in. I told the staff that I was new and needed help. They were more that happy to help and describe all the options. We went down the line and i choose a crab,avocado,mushroom, and onion roll. Was also treated to a complimentary bowl of miso from their monthly special. The roll looked as delicious and it tasted. I kicked myself with every bite for not trying them sooner. It was more of those situations where the more you eat the sadder you get because its almost all gone!! The miso was also very tasty and hit the spot on a cold January afternoon. I checked Fusian out a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty good! The staff was pretty friendly and the sushi was on point! I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered the Left Coast roll. I was surprised by how large the roll was and that it came in 10 pieces instead of the regular 8 at other sushi places! It was definitely filling. The only thing that I didn't like about this place was the lemonade. Something was off. I tried both the Strawberry and the Agave and I didn't like either. Sorry! I'll definitely be back though!
