I had a nice quick lunch here with a colleague a few weeks ago. We arrived around noon and wereseated immediately right around the front entrance. I had a cup of hot and sour soup to started and the shrimp lo mein for my entree. The soup was good (I love hot and sour, but I also love egg drop and wonton, so I'll need to come back for those some time!) and the noodles were tasty - actual normal lo mein, and not the gross thick slimy udon that some asian restaurants serve without indicating it on the menu. Food was ordered online and I went to pick it up. Food took about 10 minutes and I could see them making it fresh in the back. So it was piping hot when received. It was flavorful and was even better when I warmed it the next day. Inside was clean but a little dark in the day but was fine. Grabbed some Singapore noodles to go from here, after seeing them on Yelp. I pass by frequently, so decided to give them a try. I called in my order and it was ready 15 minutes later, the estimated time I was given. So that was a plus. Upon entering, it was fairly quiet in the restaurant at about 6:15pm, with two parties seated inside. I got to the counter, being kindly greeted, and checkout was very quick and easy. No complaints at all! It's located in the Rose Commons shopping center in Gilead Road in Huntersville. So there is plenty of parking around/in the area, as well as a host of other retailers. My review is more so based on the food. I LOVE Singapore noodles and outside of sticking to two other places in Charlotte, I decided to try Fusion 108's noodles. I hate to say it, but they were somewhat of a letdown. Most other places will typically include chicken, pork and shrimp in the noodles. However, Fusion gave you the option to choose only one protein with the dish or likely up-charge to add others. Additionally, the noodle dish was somewhat dry when I went to eat it. Hot from a temperature perspective, but dry noodles, that stuck together. It also depicted spicy for the heat level in the description, but I had absolutely no spice. I was hoping it would be a 3rd option for noodles, close to home! But overall, it was a let down for me. I may try some other options down the road, but likely not the Singapore noodles. read more

This is a tough review. I ordered using their online system, which they told me does not give accurate timing. So the wait was very long. But the food was good. Very good. With the long wait (over 90 min) I was hoping we wouldn't like the food so I could write it off. But it was really good. We will try again on a standard night (tonight was Christmas Eve). read more

Best Asian / Thai I've had in North Carolina! My fiancé and I both are from up north and it is hard to find great takeout. We are also big foodies and love to cook ourselves and appreciate great food. We just moved to Huntersville area (from Charlotte/South End) and we have been blown away by everything we have had. Also the customer service is excellent and the food is ready so quick! My favorite is pad Thai and he loves the spicy chicken and shrimp. The coconut soup is amazing! I came to this place for lunch and it was not bad. I had pad Thai, which I probably wouldn't get again. It was fine, the sauce was just a tad on the sour side. It wasn't awful, just not my personal favorite. The ground up peanuts on top were really good. I also had the side salad, which had a ginger dressing on it. I liked that. So Yelp strikes again, either people hate this spot 1 star, or they totally love it with a 5 star. I do not throw around the coveted 5 star, but, oh boy, it was terrific. I had never been here and usually overlook it as it is kind of tucked away, out of sight, out of mind. Chinese - three types. 1. fast food Chinese, you know with the same red and green menu. 2. sit down, still fast food but a little more upscale, but not by much. 3. high end Chinese, usually in a upscale and pricey sushi restaurant. Fusion 108 is sit down, but way better than fast food type. I would say that this is a step up from House of Taipei. I was blown away by the flavor. One of the best Sesame Chicken and Mongolian Beef I have ever had. Both had excellent sauce flavor, thick and not to spicy, not to sweet, just a flavor explosion. Excellent job!!!!!! I want to note that initially I was a little confused, I could have sworn that I read the joint was inexpensive. Looking at the menu, every dish is $10 and up, I was like WTF? that ain't cheap Chinese!!!! Come on, most Chinese dishes are around the $6 to $9 range, with egg roll. Well, when they brought out the dishes, the serving size is just huge!!!!! Thank god, it was even better today, when I warmed up the leftovers!!!!! On another note, to bad the staff will not read this as they barely spoke English, the crab ragoons really suck. A tiny, sad, miniscule amount of crab-cream cheese. Like microscopic. Pretty sad as they tasted decent, but I felt yipped for my $7. All is all, the staff of ladies were all great. I might make this my go to Chinese spot, just awesome stuff! I'm not sure how there are so many good (and recent) reviews for this restaurant. We got the pad thai and the sesame chicken and both were inedible. The pad Thai is not pad thai at all, but there isn't a single restaurant in the Charlotte area that serves pad thai that's even close to traditional paid thai, so maybe that's typical here. It was just a weird, red, kind of spicy but somehow flavorless sauce not at all reminiscent of traditional pad thai. The sesame chicken was so strange.... the texture was almost soft, as if it was uncooked? It was cooked however, but the texture was so off-putting. The sauce was so ridiculously sweet, and gritty, like someone dumped sugar all over it. Overall a really strange experience and we got a full refund through Door Dash. read more

Stopped in here briefly tapas style to check out something new. From the get go the staff is the pushiest I've ever dealt with. Rude and almost angry even. Somebody please tell me it's just a culture thing or whatever. That aside they are ridiculously fast. I ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer. It was surprisingly small but did the trick for my appetite tonight. The sauce was good. Tasted like it had a bit of ponzu in it. Never a bad idea. The mood is chill and relaxing. I like the decor. If I were you... I would give this little Asian place a shot! Chose this place primarily out of convenience due to location to where my friend was. I was surprised how small the interior was, but the woman behind the counter was super nice. She sat me wherever I wanted since it was empty. I heard a bunch of calls and customers come in probably for pick up. But the woman was as attentive as I would want so no complaints. The menu was decently sized and priced. There were sections for hibachi, Thai curries, Thai type of noodles and fried rice, and Chinese noodles and stir fries. They also had wine and beer. I chose a pad thai with beef and my friend had a chicken nut stirfry. The pad thai was more saucey than others I've had with a sticky sweet sauce. Not a favorite but it was cooked pretty well (especially the beef) and I was hungry so I ate it all. My friend liked her dish too so she also ate nearly all of it. Cozy little spot that serves up all kinds of Asian food. I was going to get some Japanese sesame chicken, but changed my mind at the last minute to the Thai lemongrass chicken. The food came out quickly and was flawless. There is not a lot of fancy here, either with the atmosphere or food presentation, but I think they are worth five stars. There was very tasteful Asian music playing in the background. Our server was efficient and friendly. My friend, Toni, raved about her food and said she planned to bring her red hat group here for lunch. You won't be disappointed with this find! I was staying at the Best Western in Huntersville and found this quaint little place just a short drive away. Fusion is very nicely decorated and they play peaceful Asian music at a perfect decibel level. The town where I live has several Asian restaurants, but none where you want to sit and have a peaceful dinner, so this was a nice change. I started with a pot of green tea and a bowl of egg drop soup. The soup was a great flavor, the goopy texture may not please everyone, but I liked it. I ordered the white wine sauce with chicken. It was basically the same item as what you might find as moo goo gai pan in other places. It was delicious! The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the chicken was tender and yummy, the sauce was perfectly flavored. Since I'll be here until Wednesday, I may bring my coworker here for lunch or dinner another day. read more
