Shrimp lo Vegetable Chow Mein

Everything is expensive and the food isn't as good as it used to be. I think it's because of the new staff.

Steel brush particle that cleans the grill or the wok .

I love this place and the tofu and broccoli is normally on point . Owners be careful with the steel bruh that cleans the woks . I found a steel brush tooth in my tofu / broccoli plate . I bit down and almost broke a tooth . I don't want a refund or a discount, I support this establishment 100% . This is just a heads up going forward for my favorite dish . The family is really nice to me when I go in and I'm always impressed with the children that works the front desk taking orders at the counter and over the phone . Seen you soon . Mahal kita

Sesame Chicken & Fried Rice w/ Onion

So, I am new to the Charlotte area and was in search of a good Chinese restaurant. My son raved about Mandarin. I have tried their chicken wings and french fries and they ROCK. I recently read a review and decided to try their sesame chicken & fried rice with onion. It was okay. The sesame chicken was a little rubbery and honestly, not that tasty. I was disappointed in the customer service or the lack-there-of ... I have only been here a couple of times so, I am willing to try them again. Wings & Fries here I come!

Plain jane interior, just as you might expect.

About as simple as they come. Typical strip mall, primarily take-out Chinese place. Lunch averages $5-$6 and is worth no more than that. Tried the Hunan Chicken and it was fairly blah. The fried rice was oily and the tea was old. The interior was below average. They didn't even have a drink or ice dispenser. You got your ice from a small blue Igloo cooler. Yup, just like the ones you take to a tailgate party! If you're in the area where Harris Blvd ends & connects with Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd, and are jonesing for some fast Chinese, then give'em a shot. If you're more than a stones throw away, then pick another spot! I gave'em two stars merely for the convenience factor. If it weren't for that, then it'd be one star.

I especially loved the beef steak -- it was juicy, tender, and seasoned really well. The combination of the steak with the fried rice was amazing. The pastries that came with the meal were also a wonderful surprise: warm, soft, and very tasty. Everything was served beautifully, and the portion size was generous. The atmosphere and service made the experience even better. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal!

I went back to my car and looked up reviews before driving away. Most of the reviews were good. At that moment, I made a decision: "We're going in!" Even though 'we' is just me. Don't judge; I'm sure you do the same from time to time: consciously or subconsciously. I ordered a Quart of Wonton Soup (very exciting) and Roast Pork Lo Mein (pretty cool). The wait was 10-15 minutes and I paid ahead of time. It was $16 and change but the woman behind the counter stared with great anticipation if i would leave a tip. If I could go back, I wouldn't. For what? They're already marking up prices and this part was strange. Not a fan. Fortunately, the food was good. There were only five wontons (quart usually has 6-8) but it was very good!) The Roast Pork Lo Mein was also strong. It actually had too much Roast Pork for me. At this location, I might just get Chicken Lo Mein next time. But I have been seeing more TikToks with chickens on farms and they're pretty chill so maybe just Lo Mein. I would eat from here again. Hope that helped!
