First time at this gem and it was amazing. Fast and friendly service and the food was outstanding. I also love that they've been around for 17 years! Love supporting local! Definitely recommend trying this place out again and again.

I'm as Caucasian as they come but, even I know this is not any type of mein. Lo or chow.

Tasted fine, pretty good and reasonable prices but three starts because my order was wrong. I ordered chicken lo mein from their website, rang up as chicken chow mein and received pork fried riced with a scoop of chop suey. There was no lo or chow in it. The egg roll and no-crab rangoons were okay. Still not a bad place for lunch.

Best Chinese take-out in the Charlotte area! Their food is delicious and the owners/staff are so kind and friendly. I sat and watched them share their own food with customers after being asked what they were eating. Great food, great vibe!

This is my favorite go to Chinese. They even take my request to add garlic and ginger to my stir fry's. Egg rolls are basic

Jin Jin is my #1 go to for Chinese food in the area! Over a year ago, I saw great reviews for Jin Jin and had to try them out...they did not disappoint! I'm typically a creature of habit, so I normally get the same things. But with all 4-6 items that I get (mix and match), they are always on point! Jin Jin is located in Huntersville, close to many other establishments such as Publix, Woodie's Auto, Wells Fargo, etc. They have a great pandemic setup (cannot go into the restaurant), with a kiosk/window for pickups and ordering. Whether you call in or order at the window, the staff is great, friendly and always gets the order right. Try them out and you will not be disappointed with service or taste!

Chicken broccoli, Sesame Chicken, fried rice, egg roll

Sesame chicken, chicken & broccoli, and steamed dumplings were amazing! Staff/owners were super nice when we went to pick it up too. Great place!

I ordered delivery through door dash maybe 20 minutes prior to them closing. The food is hit or miss. We got one dinner plate, two egg rolls, and a small shrimp lo mein. The sesame chicken was great but our pork fried rice tasted burnt. Definitely was disgusting. The lo mein was dry but it wasn't bad. The best part were the egg rolls. They do not offer dine in at the moment. Either delivery or order at the window. The small lo mein is extremely small for the price but I'm from the south and our small containers are larger.

I didn't realize how hard it is to find an egg roll without pork around my side of town but thankfully after a few calls I found Jin Jin and crossed my fingers as I attempted to satisfy this craving. They're currently set up for window only orders during the pandemic. The menu is pretty extensive and is very similar to the chinese spots we have back in VA. I ordered 2 shrimp egg rolls and a veggie fried rice(broccoli, onions, carrots, mushrooms) and thankfully the rolls hit the spot and the rice would have been great but there was lots of grease at the bottom of the container. I actually returned the following week for more shrimp egg rolls, they were really good. The reviews are pretty mixed so I'm not ready to try anything else at the moment.

I have never done a review like this before. I'm writing the first half of the review before I eat the food. I ordered General Tso's Chicken with white rice and a quart of Wonton Soup. I love Chinese food but don't eat it much because there aren't many great options in the area. Jin Jin used to be a good option, but their blinds being crooked for years turned me off. On the other hand, it's impeccably clean inside, and I have a broken blind in my house (not viewable from street), so I can't judge. The last time ate Jin Jin was on my son's birthday (4/21). That was Sesame Chicken with white rice, Lo-Mein, and Wonton Soup. I wasn't impressed that day, but I had birthday cake on my mind. Will continue this review at home after eating. Update: General Tso's Chicken: Very Good Wonton Soup: Pretty Good White Rice: It's white rice Noodles: Some were stale Service: Friendly Blinds: Crooked A generous 4.

Paid extra for "all white meat" and instead i got "all breading" Why is it to much to ask? I just want actual meat with my General Chicken.. Egg rolls were good. Walk-up window very nice COVID touch.

Tried this place for the first time last week and it was better than expected…read more Everything was great. Veggies and spinach bun was a shareable appetizer of 2 buns. Kind of reminded me of the texture of spanakopita in a bun. They were generously filled and delicious. Yangzhou fried rice had a mix of scallops, shrimp, chicken and veggies. Portion was huge, husband could barely finish it. I ordered spicy wonton in chili oil, and mini spare ribs in black bean sauce dim sum. Loved them both. Seasonings and spice level were perfect. I'd order those again. We also got a selection of dumplings - pork and veggie shumai, steamed potstickers, and crystal shrimp dumplings. Loved all of them. I love the relaxed vibe here. Our server was attentive, professional and gave us space to enjoy our meal with minimum interruptions. We were greeted when we arrived and she waved goodbye when we left. While dining, I saw quite a number of takeout orders picked up by customers and dashers, which is something we'll definitely do in the future. The dining area and bar are in one big room with huge windows that make the space feel spacious and light. Even tho it's one big room, tables aren't crammed together. Music is low enough to talk at normal volume. We really enjoyed our first time here, plan to eat here again and highly recommend it if you haven't been.

The Food- The Ambience-…read more The Service- I visited this place from out of town and the food was so dang good, I almost ordered a second helping of the eggplant dish just to bring back to Va. I didn't even get a picture of it because I was in a trance. I also had the braised beef noodle soup (pictured), top tier please visit this place. I'm plotting my next outing JUST to go here. I am a foodie at heart. My friend had the Ma-La Dried Peppers Chicken, that was also incredible. Everything has sooooo much flavor. The eggplant was hands down the best I've ever had in my life. Go on their website, the food looks just like the pictures in real life. It's also super clean inside. Just go, you won't be disappointed !

This review is for Sun's Kitchen, tucked down near LoSo/Lower South End, and let me tell you --…read morethese dan dan noodles absolutely hit the spot. I was in one of those "I need noodles immediately" moods, and Sun's Kitchen did not disappoint. I called my order in for takeout, and everything was packed perfectly. No leaks, no mess, still hot when I got home, and the portion was surprisingly generous for the price. The dan dan noodles here are rich, savory, a little spicy, and incredibly comforting. If you're not familiar with them, dan dan noodles are a classic Sichuan street food dish from Chengdu traditionally tossed in a spicy, numbing ma-la sauce with pork, scallions, and pickled vegetables. Sun's Kitchen does a really delicious version that's flavorful without feeling too heavy. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and every bite has just enough heat to keep you going back for more. If you're someone who's curious about ethnic food but maybe unsure where to start, this is honestly a great entry-level dish. Yes, there's a little spice, but it's approachable and balanced. The dining room itself is modern and beautiful, and now that they serve beer and wine, I definitely need to come back and enjoy a full dine-in experience instead of rushing home with takeout. The only caveat is the parking lot can get a little chaotic since it's shared with neighboring businesses, especially during busy hours. But trust me, it's worth circling for a spot. Charlotte, there's a big wide world of food out there, and places like Sun's Kitchen make exploring it easy and delicious. Get out there and eat your way through it.
