It's a place to go to eat at. I've eaten there many times. You have Chinese food and American country food also.

Ok, nothing to bragg about. The concept is cool, having the Asian cooking and country cooking choices on the same buffet. Just wish the quality of the food was better. Sometimes the bar is not kept fresh as a buffet should be. What we did appreciate though, was if an item on the bar seemed old, like it had been out on the bar too long, they had no issues with cooking it fresh and bringing it to the table for you like "family style". This restaurant has a good selection for a buffet, the General Tso chicken was sweet,not spicy, which I really enjoyed! Their button mushrooms were excellent! The rest of the buffet wasn't good for me, but I have a hardened pallet! Catfish-bland-no taste/hushpuppies-hard and tasteless/ fried chicken, hard crust and dry/ coleslaw was dry, pork and beans were very good, cooked with bacon, dessert cakes were dry. I don't think I will be going back, maybe just order a take out portion of the mushrooms! :-) Definitely not worth $10 per person plus $1.99 per drink! This is a good place and they have the reasonable price to go with your friends or alone. I went there at the noon, the food was amazing. They just opened and are the buzz on this tiny town. Went there for dinner with my husband. Cost what a typical buffet cost, 8.99 for adults, and I believe $6.99 for children. The place is huge with lots of seating. We went on a very stormy day so it was almost empty. The buffet is not very big but the food was quite good. I had lots of honey chicken which was great. My husband liked the broccoli casserole. They have a large selection of sushi but we were a little afraid to try it because it seemed warm. They have a nice desert table with ice cream and cookies and some other little things like pudding. I am hoping they will get more variety once they are in business longer. Don't do it. The idea of combining Chinese and country is both very humorous and intriguing so my friend and I checked it out. It was difficult to eat more than a few bites of anything because none of the food was even close to being fresh. The sushi was scarily old from sitting out all day, and all 3 types of chicken had the exact same flavor. I wish I could provide more constructive feedback, but the food was just tasteless, stale and disgusting. At least the staff was very friendly, and the lunch buffet was relatively cheap. read more

Buffet style restaurant. I went late at night near closing time & was pleasantly surprised that the food was still good & plentiful! I tried a lot of items. But the fried chicken legs & noodles & long green beans were great! (maybe a lil withered but still good) The fried chicken was crispy on the outside & cooked, tender & juicy on the inside. (ALOT of places will give you fried chicken that is still pink inside :/) The salad was cold, fresh & crisp. Not withered like a lot of other places. And don't forget the fried cheese & crab wontons! Fusion buffet seems to be the only place left in town whose wontons still taste the same. If you are one to consider advice from others, don't go here. The food tastes just awful and I should have figured this when they decided to pair it with southern cuisine. I have been here twice and the reason I went back was to give it another chance and I made the huge mistake of bringing my fiancé and she's from China. Just recently moved to Live Oak and so very glad to have found this restaurant. I have eaten in many Chinese restaurants with buffets; this is by far the best. My fiancé does not like Chinese, but he can devour the country style buffet and the dessert bar. Love it. Every time we go to town we go there to eat. read more

Great food with a few issues. A little concerned with things not being hot enough and Cole slaw sits near hot stuff on ice. I have had bad sauce on a piece of sushi. I have seen a fly on desserts. All can be addressed and taken care of. Front desk guy is a little unfriendly. I will come back here to see how they fare and hope for a hotter meal. read more

OMG PUCH, Just about the worst Chinese ; Redneck restaurant we have ever eaten at, and we have had Dinners at many of them, and this one is about the worst of them. Some of the entrees were not recognizable, looked like dog puch , there were mixtures of redneck food and what you would call Chinese food, The seating was close, almost butt cheek to butt cheek with the other tables, looked in the kitchen and founf Mexican preparing and cooking the food. As my Wife was sitting at the table trying to eat, water was dripping from the ceiling on to Her food, She stopped eating and sat there with a hungry look in her eyes. We have had Chinese Buffets at many restaurants and found this one a health hazard , But if you are into a real fine Chinese buffet, and you live close to Gainesville Florida, make a very good effort to stop and have Dinner at the "OCEANS BUFFET" It is on New Berry road in front of the Oaks Mall, it is the very best I have ever been to the food is to absolutely die for.
