A group of four of us decided to come here due to its proximity to a friend's home. They've been open since 1988, so they may be doing something right. It's a small place located in a strip center next to a gas station with a dozen tables to sit at. No ceiling fans or music playing overhead. We all had the lunch specials which are well worth the $10 price range. They don't have much in the way of drinks, tea and canned beverages only, nothing alcoholic. Overall, it was a good dining experience and should be considered a great value if you're looking for a decent Chinese lunch.

The menu at Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant is a vault full of delicious surprises. I don't have a favorite meal because all their food is delicious. It all depends on what I'm in the mood for. The service is great, the tea is also on point, and the restaurant is tucked away in a nice area where it's quiet and away from the daily traffic noise. I love the location and the food. I highly recommend it if you like to sit and enjoy a nice hot meal that brings happiness to your gut.

The food was honestly terrible. We visited during lunchtime and ordered a special that included a hot dish with rice, one spring roll, and soup. We chose the wonton soup, but all we got was a piece of noodle and broth--there were no wontons at all. The soup was the only thing that tasted decent out of everything we tried. The food came out extremely fast, which was strange and made us wonder if it had been prepared in advance. Hopefully, we don't end up with food poisoning. The only thing we liked was the service, which was pleasant. The atmosphere in the place is strange, and there's an unpleasant smell of old oil.

If you are in a pinch for dinner four seasons is a great option in the Wells Branch area. I ordered takeout through them and got the four seasons delight. Which you get beef, chicken, shrimp, and crab meat. You get a lot of food! This can be easily shared between two people. The service was friendly and fast and the food came out hot and delicious. This will definitely be a spot I will be visiting often when I'm in a pinch.

Came back because I was craving egg drop soup; want to try the hot and sour since I've never had it and their egg drop is on point...IM A FAN! I don't know what to compare it to but it's something that I'd definitely get again. I might give another dish besides the soups another chance.

I live right down the street and ordered as I got in my truck... when I got there my food was already packaged and ready (probably not cooked on the spot when I ordered). My biggest complaint was the shrimp fried rice, and considering this is a Chinese restaurant; it's kind of sad that their rice was not very good (Dry). you can tell there was no love put into any of this meal. I consider myself to be a connoisseur of steamed dumplings, (safe to say these dumplings were depressing) not only were these dumplings super tiny, there was only 6. I would have ordered more dumplings if I had known this. The beef and broccoli was overall the best thing in my To-Go sack, aside that they had huge chunks of what seem to be raw carrots in there. Overall I thought this was a pretty poor experience, I will definitely not be going back there to spend over $30 on poor quality Chinese food.

Kung Pao Shrimp-Moderate heat, you can see I already moved the three hot peppers that were on top to the side.

Peapod tips in garlic, needed more garlic in cooking, but fortunately not too greasy. Mapo Tofu on the moderate spicy side and a large portion. Braised chicken and chicken broth soup and a container of white rice. Nice place, not great, but good. Prefer take out given the crowd and small tables. Did not have a reservation on this occasion, but they always make me feel welcome and manage to fit us in. Sat on the outdoor covered patio that was cool and shaded. Started the meal with cocktails including Lycheetini with Deep Eddy Vodka, Giffard Lichi-li. lemon, cranberry, I cut the cranberry. Also had a Fresa Paloma with Socorro Reposado Tequila, Contratto, strawberry, lime, grapefruit, five-spice that was very sweet and garnished with a flower. You are given a card where you can mark your dim sum selections. I ordered the Shrimp Pancake, Snow Crab Ball and Chinese Sausage Sticky Rice. The standout was the shrimp pancake that had a really great texture and flavor. The snow crab ball had a strange texture with shrimp surrounding the snow crab claw. The Chinese Sticky Rice is always a favorite. Also ordered the Truffle Egg Fried rice and Birds Nest with Seasonal Vegetable. The Truffle rice is so flavorful like a flavor explosion in your mouth. The Birds Nest is made with fried potato shreds which contain the a variety of vegetables including cauliflower, peppers, mushrooms and asparagus. The nest is also edible and has a crunchy texture. The presentation of the food is amazing and everything came out hot and fresh. The flavors were on point, and you can tell there's attention to detail in the preparation. Service was attentive outdoors and the pacing of dishes felt just right for a relaxed brunch. This restaurant is truly a gem whether you come for brunch or dinner service. Will definitely be back.

Service was fine but we were out front on the patio and though our waiter was attentive while we ordered, we ended up finishing and waiting 40 minutes for someone to come by so we could grab the check. I ended up just heading inside and the maître d' was able to close us out. Tables around us were open so I'm not sure what had them held up, and it could've been a one off, but definitely not ideal at this price point.

UPDATE: I changed this review from 3 stars to 4 stars... I had contacted the Tso's comments page…read moreand relayed the issues. I promptly received an email acknowledging the issues, with promise to communicate that forward. I also received a credit. The timeliness of the response made it clear to me that there is an eye to quality control and that there's earnestness in making things better. I'll raise my "C-" to a "B-" and will give them another chance. ------------- Delivery: It took 1hr 25min for an order of soup, spring rolls, and lettuce wraps to be delivered... on a Monday... after lunch rush... when the restaurant location is less than 2 miles away. Online order: 1:03p; food in hand: 2:27p. That was a bummer. It's normally 30-40 minutes. Food: The small container of the dipping sauce (packed in the spring roll container) had a warped, melted lid... it was packed at the top of my complete order bag, and I suspect that it sat under a heat lamp for about 40 minutes. The spring rolls were soft and pithy and soaked in in the sauce. Kinda yucky. No crunch left. Food: I ordered chicken lettuce wraps. That came in a bi-partition container; lettuce on one side and chicken on the other. The lettuce was totally limp. The lettuce was dark green and looked like it was the nasty stuff you might peel off of a head of lettuce that sat too long in your refrigerator drawer. I'm sure it started out fresh when the meal was packed, but putting it in a container with hot food, and then next to a container of soup, and then letting it all sit under a heat lamp for 40 minutes did it no good. I did contact Tso's online and suggested that they pack lettuce separately for their lettuce wraps. Food: The chicken, the hot & sour soup, and the spring rolls were all a bit salty... saltier than usual, IMHO. Tso's is usually a solid "B", but this meal barely met a "C-".
