Best Asian fusion around! Everything tastes made in house. All of the sauces are delicious, chicken katsu reminds me of when I lived in Hawaii. My go-to is the shrimp Mei Fun, always piping hot and packed with flavor. I've also tried the sushi, and it's easily some of the best I've had. The freshness is impeccable. What truly sets Fusion House apart, though, is the customer service. The owner is so warm and welcoming, I genuinely thought she was the host. They make you feel like family. Even the details stand out the carryout bags are stylish and insulated to keep your food hot, which I've never seen done like this before. I've been giving myself some time to think before posting this review, but I'm still bothered by my experience. I think it's so important to provide constructive criticism to any business especially a newer business that's trying to strive in today's economy. With that being said, let me deposit before I withdraw... The restaurant is nicely decorated, and appeared to be clean. I was excited to try fusion house because I've read the reviews and thought their pricing was reasonable. I did really enjoy the pork pot stickers, they were so good! We got there right at 11:30ish, they open at 11, and right as we walked in we weren't greeted immediately, I had to ask if they were prepared to receive customers. Our server seemed to be annoyed straight from the beginning. I had an issue locating the pot stickers, usually those are listed under the appetizers on a menu, when asked, she rudely pointed to the menu under dim sum... Honestly, I should have left, I had a feeling from that moment I wouldn't have a good experience. We order our drinks and our food, I was so excited to try the general tso chicken because I've seen nothing but great reviews about that dish, so naturally that's what I ordered. My son ordered the habachi chicken kids meal. Our food came out way to fast, as soon as she placed the dish in front of me I could tell it was old food.. The chicken pieces were rock hard, I can tell this was old food that had been refried. You can tell because the chicken inside the breading was beige and dry... My sons food seemed freshly prepared, but he didn't really care to much for the dish. This young lady did not come to check on us to ask how the food was, I had such a hard time getting anyone's attention, I finally got her attention and told her that my food was not edible and showed her how hard the chicken pieces were by tapping the metal fork on the chicken in front of her.. No apology, no willingness to help, I was just met with that's how we prepare it. I told her, I needed it to be prepared fresh and not fried so hard. She takes my dish back and I can see conversations being had, now everyone is looking my way.. She comes back with another dish with less chicken than the first dish and tells me they fried it for a minute less, the pieces are still dry.. So, I straight up ask her, "Is this old food? " she gets defensive and tells me no it's not old food, she tells me that they get the chicken pieces pre cooked and fry to order, which was a lie in my case because the chicken was dry and beige in the inside.. She expressed it takes to much time for them to freshly prepare the chicken pieces, so they use pre cooked chicken... One of the easiest things to prepare on their menu takes to much time?? Did they reduce the price of this meal since it's no longer freshly prepared? I was literally their first and only customer when I placed my order, they weren't busy or slammed, and they couldn't dust some fresh chicken fry to order and toss in sauce??? That would take too much time? Anyway, now the staff from the kitchen were looking at me as I was clearly disappointed in the old food they were serving me. The flavor was excellent, but it was clearly old food and not fresh, and even if it was pre cooked like she explained the chicken pieces would still be white when you bite into it. Not stale, beige hard bits.. Just look at the picture of my chicken vs the other photos posted on here, they look different. I noticed when other customers arrived the same server was providing them with great service, service that we never received.. When I asked for my tab, she noticed there was quite a bit of food on my plate and asked me if I wanted a to go box, and I'm thinking are you serious?? NO, no I do not!! They didn't offer to discount my tab for serving me old food (which I got sick from), didn't apologize for my experience, I still tipped because it's the right thing to do, but I'll never be back here again. We went to Fusion House again, but this time on a Friday evening. I wasn't really hungry so thankfully our server allowed me to get the kids size hibachi chicken. It was exactly the portion I needed and it was delicious!! I think my husband had the general Tso's chicken this time. I tasted it and it was delicious as well. Overall it was a great experience. We had takeout recently and I would probably not do that again. No utensils in the bag, no napkins and the food was packed poorly so it spilled out into the bag and subsequently all over my pants. Maybe that was a one time thing, but going forward I will eat inside the restaurant to prevent such an unpleasant experience. read more

A great addition to this area! Delicious sushi and the presentation is so pretty. The orange chicken and hibachi chicken were also tried by friends at our table and both were great. My curiosity had me ordering the Korean corn dog and it was fun to try. Basically a cheese stick fried in a sweet batter. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our group of 4. OMG!! Yes, please give this place a try. I have been there 3 times since they opened and I love each dish I ordered. Everything about this place was beyond my expectations! The service the first time I went was truly amazing but I will admit that the second and third time I could tell the servers were a bit overwhelmed. Right in my back door! First visit today. Got the sashimi appetizer and shimp udon. Both were excellent The only problem was they apparently haven't learned time management when an entrée and an appetizer is ordered. The udon came out about 10 minutes before the appetizer, but no problem! The other minor issue was with a first-day new server being a little out of sorts. Again, no problem. She was sweetheart! Unbelievably amazing food. We placed a to go order and now my daughter and I are in food comas we couldn't stop eating - everything was that great. We got the vegetarian udon noodles, hibachi chicken with a salad, the Korean corn dog - which actually was a cheese stick with cinnamon crunchy bits on it (so good!) - and a regular milk tea. We used to live in Texas and haven't been able to find a place like this since we moved to the area. Very thankful for this new addition to Harrisburg. Very disappointed. Took the family here and we ordered 4 poke bowls and uden noodle bowl. First, all 4 of the poke bowls were ice cold... I mean like it was pulled out of the fridge. Fusion House, the "new kids on the block" in Caldwell Commons Shopping Center (near Marco's Pizza and Great Clips), passed muster with us long-time sushi and Asian cuisine fans. We decided to try something new after church today and this was it. I tried one item from sushi menu (sashimi appetizer which included nine correctly sliced sizeable pieces for $13) and one from "main" menu - shrimp udon stir fry (you can also get lo mein) with an ample portion of succulent shrimp ($14). I took enough home for another meal. My brother had the chicken katsu udon noodle soup (ramen is also a choice here), $15. Even though not listed on the menu,we were able to get a pot of green tea we requested. Everything was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced - and served with a smile by attentive wait staff. I would have to say this is the best Asian restaurant in Cabarrus County. I have been here on a separate occasions. I have yet to be disappointed. My daughter's love the Katsu. I have had their hibachi steak and chicken. Both were outstanding as well as their wings. One of the real standouts is their perfectly cooked rice. It tastes great even when reheated. Before I even start, let me make something very clear: I have been vegetarian my entire life. This is not a preference I casually ignore, it is something I take seriously.I visited Fusion House around 7 PM yesterday with my family because we had been wanting to try it, especially since they advertised vegetarian options. We specifically ordered hibachi vegetables, vegetable dumplings, and ramen, and made it VERY clear that we do not eat meat and did not want any animal products in our food. When the food came out, the presentation looked great, and we were excited to eat. That quickly turned into disgust. While eating the hibachi vegetables, I bit into a chicken. CHICKEN. After clearly stating our dietary restriction, I was still served meat. I was immediately disturbed and disgusted. This is not a small mistake this is a serious issue, especially for people with strict diets or allergies. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability. When I brought this to their attention, there was NO apology. None. At that point, it stopped being just a mistake and became a reflection of carelessness and poor service. This experience has genuinely bothered me all day. I'm extremely upset and disappointed. If you have dietary restrictions, allergies, or simply expect your requests to be respected, I strongly urge you to be cautious when ordering from here. read more
