To start, they've got some of the best rice bowls I've ever had. The sesame chicken and tempura shrimp bowl in particular is great. The ramen is enjoyable as well. The servings are hearty and the taste is good. They give a lot of food for the price, I've never been able to finish a meal in one go. Thankfully the food comes in resealable containers so you can easily take it home. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is the sushi is avoidable. Not terrible, but you'd do better get something else. And lastly, the tea. A good variety of flavors, nothing too special but it's good enough. Over all, I like eating here. (8/12/20) I've had the ramen bowls here before but never a poke bowl. I was on the way home from Amazon and decided to stop at Concord Mills for lunch. Looking through the menu, the Aloha Forever bowl caught my eye, so I ordered one along with a Thai tea boba tea. It was a never ending bowl of delicious food! Poke n' Ramen was better than I was expecting and FAR better than the Pho restaurant that used to have this food court stall. I feel like with some time, they could be the highlight of Concord Mills' food options, but a couple of things here and there left more to be desired. The restaurant specializes in Ramen, Poke Bowls, Bubble Tea, Onigiri, and they even have steamed Bao buns. I wasn't brave enough to do the Poke on my visit, but I'll give it a try soon. I got the Ramen bowl with Braised Pork Belly, Tonkotsu Broth, and mild spiciness. The dish also comes with seaweed, corn, a hardboiled egg, scallions, and onion crisps. I ordered to-go so they seperated the Tonkotsu broth in its own container so everything wouldn't get soggy. I also ordered a strawberry tea with mango popping boba. Starting with the Ramen, I found all of the supporting ingredients to be very high quality. Crisp veggies and a delicious hardboiled egg. They even throw in these cute "Narutomaki" fishcakes that have a pink spiral in the middle which accents the top of the bowl. The ramen had a good texture and was fresh. A couple of things that I wasn't a huge fan of: The tonkotsu broth was VERY salty. Before anyone gets up in arms with me regarding what tonkotsu is supposed to taste like, I've had the dish dozens of times, I've had Futo Buta's many times, I know what tonkotsu is supposed to be, and this was simply over-seasoned. I didn't get much "porky" flavor from the broth at all, just salt. It also appeared to be cloudier than most tonkotsu, so I think that day's batch of broth was more than likely rushed for service. A minor issue that the pork belly didn't seem as tender as most ramen shops tend to serve. Again, opening week, things to work through. The Strawberry Bubble tea had an overwhelming 'perfume-like' quality to it that was off-putting. I've never got a Strawberry tea at a place that does bubble teas so maybe that's just what it's like, but I'll get another option next time for sure. If you're thinking a three-star is harsh, keep in mind that three-star is A-OK! It's much higher than I would rate the majority of mall food court options. Since I find myself at Concord Mills 3-4 times a week, I'm sure I'll be back many times. read more

I'm so happy that we finally have a ramen place in the neighborhood! When I have a ramen craving I won't have to drive too far. Now, if I wanted really good ramen I will definitely want to take the drive to the other spots but this place will definitely satisfy the craving. I got the spicy shrimp tonkotsu ramen and my sister got the medium spice pork belly miso ramen. I like how much shrimp you got in one portion but the broth wasn't the best. It wasn't very flavorful but like I said, it'll do. There was hardly any spice in it even though I got the highest level. I definitely liked my sister's miso ramen a lot better. The flavor profile was more deep as expected with miso. I wasn't a huge fan of the pork belly- definitely have had better ones elsewhere. Now for my favorite part- the bubble tea! It was so good! No need to drive to university area for bubble tea anymore. They had so many flavors here and different topping options as well, which isn't seen in all the bubble tea shops in the area. They also seal the cups the usual way in plastic and not just the lids that you can find elsewhere. We got the passion fruit green tea with lychee and the Thai tea with boba. The boba was really good and Thai tea was awesome! I enjoyed my passionfruit as well I was definitely in a food coma after eating the ramen and drinking my tea. This place exceeded my expectations for a mall food court ramen and bubble tea spot. I'm not a huge fan of poke so I probably won't get it but I would definitely get the bubble tea here again and perhaps the ramen. We stood in line for a little bit but after we placed our order service was quick and efficient. Can't wait to come back! read more

He asked me to pull up my trusty Yelp and lo' and behold this new ramen spot pops up. I've read the 3 reviews and wasn't convinced I was going to be in for a treat. But wth I'll give it a try and Futo is too far. (Yes, I'm aware of my last review, but I wasn't thinking about any new places at the time). My dude went to get the ramen. I figured I'd try my usual miso. Hubs went with the Tonkatsu. Mine needed salt and definitely lacked flavor. To go noodles were all clumped together. I guess hot broth is supposed to separate them and cook them a little. The shrimp should have been cooked a little longer and seasoned. The tempura I should have taken out. That was my fault cause of course the battered skin was all woogly sitting in the broth. The other accoutrements were okay but what good is ramen if the broth ain't hittin??? Honestly if you want authentic poke go somewhere else. The fish quality is good but they have the most horrible sauces. Their 'poke' sauce is an orange sauce that looks like a yum yum sriracha Mayo. Everywhere else is your traditional brown sauce. This is my second time here and the first time someone was nice enough to relay to me that the poke sauce is NOT the poke sauce everyone expects it to be. So when I said I wanted ponzu instead I was expecting the savory citrus sauce it tastes like everywhere else. Wrong. It tasted like sweet teriyaki sauce. Absolutely disgusting. So when I came by to give this place another shot I accidentally ordered the poke sauce. When I saw it was the orange sauce I told them that was not what I wanted and if they could remake it with ponzu. They did for an extra dollar (probably for avocado) I stressed to them that last time it tasted like someone accidentally gave me teriyaki sauce and they assured me I got ponzu. Well when I asked why the sauce tasted the same as last time like a sweet teriyaki they only then tell me it's because it's a 'spicy sweet ponzu'. So after the attitude they gave me I left to eat this sweet tasting poke bowl again. Thank god for maki of Japan on the other side of the food court because they gave soy sauce that made it somewhat edible. Don't go here if you are expecting the traditional sauces. Likewise, their milk tea is no good either. It is artificially flavored and tasted like fruit loops or fruity pebbles cereal. I do not recommend it. read more

What a great place to eat ramen surprisingly. This Spicy Braised Pork Belly Ramen remind me of authentic ramen from my day in Japan as a soldier. This soup packed punch for only $10.95. I ordered a boba tea and a mango chicken rice bowl. Although the food was good, the proportions were off. There was way more chicken than rice, only 3 or 4 pieces of broccoli, and barely a spoonful of corn. The sauce on the chicken was fairly strong and there was a Lot of it-- so much that it was already mixed in with all the rice. Came here and was handed a menu with loads of options. I decided upon the ramen. You can customize the ramen to however you would like. You can even have udon noodles. Got ramen noodles, with tonkotsu broth, and with braised pork belly. The noodles were nice and tender. Tonkotsu could use a bit of work, but was good nonetheless. Pork belly was delicious.
