The cost was about $16 but I added avocado which is extra. Please be patient as only one guy seemed to be working but he was very nice and knowledgeable of all the offerings. Sushi Bowl+ is my FAVORITE place for poke in Charlotte. A friend introduced the place to me and I've been hooked since. It's a small spot tucked away in the same shopping center as Pio Pio in Dilworth. The first time I visited, it did take me a few minutes to find it. It is next to Charlotte Running Co. The setup is similar to Chipotle where you can build your own bowl or choose from suggested combinations. Their ingredients are always fresh and the HUGE plus is that they don't upcharge or limit toppings! It's a great healthy option! I came in here with very high hopes after seeing the 5 star rating on Yelp and 4.9 star rating on Google. Been wanting to try new poke spots and came across this one that was in proximity to where I lived. I spent roughly $14 for a 2 scoop bowl that was packed to the brim. I loved the fast, friendly service and they were not shy on the serving scoops. What I like about this place is not only the abundant choices of toppings, but also having pickled radish as an option. I have not seen this anywhere else that I've been to so far, so that is a plus. I liked that the seaweed salad and masago is not an additional premium as compared to other places so, another plus. Stumbled upon this little place a few months ago and I've been back twice. I love that you can make your own, customized bowl from a great assortment of options. Everything is very fresh and the service is speedy. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I wish they would include less rice or salad in the bottom of the bowl and provide more of the proteins and other options. I'm not really full when I finish the bowl (although part of that is because I cannot eat so much rice). My only other gripe is that the shrimp sauce is way too sweet, but I just cut it with some soy sauce and it's yummy! read more

We popped in one afternoon after reading about it. Glad to have support a new locally-owned business. We were warmly greeted by owner and employee, who walked us through the menu and options. I went with a tofu bowl and my spouse got chicken breast. The bowls were packed with the fresh ingredients we chose and topped with yummy sauce (lots of options). We both loved our bowls and had plenty left to save for later. The restaurant was spotless as well and the location had amply parking. We will definitely go back. Honestly, Dilworth needed something like this. Yes, we have like 4-5 sushi places around but this is a more casual, in-and-out place you can go for lunch or dinner without feeling you have to make an event about it. There is no sushi as an item though, strictly bowls, but that is the appeal. Parking is plentiful which is also a challenge in this area so that is nice and convenient. The one bowl I had was the Muscle Bowl, pretty good with tons of different of flavors and textures, and though not cheap, it is not meant to be and you are given quality and quantity. The drink options are good, with some rare imported types (no alcohol) . I just had a Perrier with my bowl. The one gentleman that was manning the counter was extremely helpful as well. You can think of this as an Asian 'CAVA' if you are familiar with those - but a bit more casual. You can pick from 2-3 pre-made bowl combos or simply make your own from the tons of ingredients right there in front of you. Overall, I think this is a winner and will for sure add it to my regular places for lunch. read more
