I live withing walking distance of this place and have seen how busy this place is. We finally tried this place on New Years Eve and again a few weeks ago. We eat standard chinese food so we got Pupu Platters and lo mein which was excellent. I got Mai Tai's and my wife got scorpion bowls. We liked it so much we took my inlaws here and they loved it too. It's a great combination of solid food and drinks. I used to like Han's Garden in Haverhill for Chinese food and drinks, but this place is better and closer which is a plus. Then only negative to this place is that it is small and limited parking. Then again that is part of this places charm. Since I can walk here, parking is not an issue though you can park across without any problems. read more

Once was one of the better places to eat in Methuen, now one of the worst. My last visit we ordered a huge assortment of dishes from Chinese fare to sushi. Everything had literally no taste. It was a busy day when we went to pickup the food but that is never an excuse to provide dishes with literally no seasoning. With so many Japanese and Chinese restaurants in the area, this small restaurant shines like a gem. Having spent a number of years in Hawaii, I have become jaded about American Style Chinese. Everything is smothered in brown sauce here. In Hawaii, the food was crisp, fresh and light. This restaurant captures that sentiment, and combines ith with wonderfully attentive staff and decor. Nestled in the middle of a relatively non-descript part of Methuen, MA, they are a worthy find. I highly recommend you try the crispy Pad Thai. read more

When this place first opened it was great. Service and quality of food. Lately the food is bland, the service has been subpar. Ordered chicken teriyaki, cost over $10 and only came with 6 pcs. In my experience orders usually have 8 pcs. I asked the manager why only 6 pcs. He gave me a tude and said "food expensive" I laughed, said its chicken pal for 10 bucks I think you could throw 8 of em in there. We came here to try the vegetarian sushi which was pretty good and we would've come back except that they made such a fuss over us not liking the pad thai. And I can tell you that the pad thai is nothing like the pad thai that you would have had anywhere else and not in a good way. We don't feel comfortable coming back. We'd call this a fusion restaurant of some very good food and some very bad food, or maybe a fusion of good waitstaff and bad management. Although the food is usually delicious the past few negative experiences has prompted me to write a review. 1. Large sushi order was given to another customer by accident. Instead of remaking the order immediately, Fusion House wanted the customer to bring back sushi 40 minutes after it had been picked up. They were being sketchy when we asked where the sushi was coming from, but finally were informed they were trying to give us sushi already given to another customer.. Totally unacceptable. 2. Went to pick up sushi another time and was given a 20 minute estimate for the order to be ready. Went to pick it up and had to wait an additional 40 minutes for 3 sushi rolls.. who know maybe they made the same mistake as above. 3. Another time the "fresh" fish on a another menu item was served deep fried in its frozen plastic packaging. Yum..I'm sure everyone enjoyed the extra plastic flavor in their food that night. 4. They have the best crab rangoon around but once the cream cheese they were made from was rancid. Another time they missed including order of crab rangoon in my bag and asked if I was lying, when I called up to tell them it was missing. read more

I've ordered food here many times and it has always been very good. I especially like the crab rangoon, chicken fingers, and fried rice. It seems like the food here is much better quality than a lot of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. The only drawback is that the food is a bit pricey. read more

The three stars is only because I've ordered takeout for lunch from here a few times with no issues. I took my girlfriend here today for lunch- forgiving the torn and worn booths, literally no other customers in the place and yet took us ten minutes to be approached by a server and ask for a drink menu. The server had to ask us several times to repeat our orders. My girlfriend ordered the szechuan chicken with white rice and it came out with fried. They corrected it, but as she stated and as I can confirm, it had the consistency of cartilage and seemed more like chicken with peanuts that was not spicy- I think they got it wrong. They then brought out my sushi which was the wrong order. I ate it anyways as it was actually the dish I had been considering- I guess they made my decision for me. The sushi was good but nothing exceptional and the drinks were expensive and weak. Overall, there's a sushi place right next to my place that serves very strong drinks and good sushi and has yet to screw up an order. I think I'll continue going there. read more

We have been ordering from Fusion House once or twice a month for 15 years. Great food. Nice small dining room. Great drinks. Since the pandemic hit, they have only been doing pick up and delivery. Tonight, we decided we wanted their food. Their website quoted 65 minutes for delivery and 15 minutes for ick up. We ordered and I drove out to get it. I placed my order at 6:01. It took me 5 minutes to get there, so I waited a little in the car. At 6:22 I went to pick it up, and the food was not ready. I was asked to wait 10 minutes. I went to my car and waited. At 6:35 I went back to get it and was asked to wait 5 more minutes. I asked why they quoted 15 minutes if it was going to take 35+. Got no answer. I waited again. Now, it's 19 degrees out and you can't go in the restaurant. So I'm freezing. Finally at 6:40 our food is ready. I tell the woman handing it to me the I was disappointed that I had to wait almost an extra half hour for food that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. I could have stayed home and stayed warm for this amount of time. Did she apologize? NO. Did she offer a $5.00 coupon off next order? No. Did she offer me any explanation? NO. She replied "GOOD FOOD IS WORTH WAITING FOR." Maybe I should stop payment on my debit card for a few days. After all GOOD MONEY IS WORTH WAITING FOR. I like your food a lot. But it will be a cold day in hell before I spend another dollar in your establishment because of tonight's service; but mostly because of your attitude. read more

Worse customer service ever (but I see that is the trend). Placed 100$ take out order - person on phone couldn't rush me through my order any faster. Got my food delivered in a decent time. BUT received two incorrect dishes. Called to inform them of this and was told in a rude manner by the manager I need to return the incorrect dishes (like I'm trying to get free food out of them). I told them they can have it just send me my correct items. Then the manager calls me back to argue with me telling me what he sent is correct. He kept attacking me and was rude and ultimately refused to rectify the mistake their take out girl did. Maybe if she listened better instead of trying to rush people off the phone they'd get the order right. I ended up returning the items and was never issued a refund or replacement dish. Customer service is pathetic. We have had a few issues over the years and the responses have always been to tell us we are wrong (even yelling at us one of the times) and ultimately refusing to do anything to make up for their error. Tonight we were missing one of our rolls and we called to get a credit since we live too far away to go back and had already arrived at home. We were told that the roll was in there and to "take a look" a couple of times. Based on past experience I knew I would have to argue and it would lead nowhere. I have been a very frequent customer at this restaurant. In fact, I live around the corner. All of the employees know me and my boyfriend by name, and we know their names as well. It has always been a very friendly atmosphere, and the food has been good in general. The sushi is nearly excellent, although the specialty dishes (such as pad thai and "typical" fried Chinese food) always varied in quality. Sometimes it was quite good, and other times not so great. Occasionally, it frankly was lousy. It seems that they let their chefs do their own thing rather than follow an exact method on how to cook and prepare their dishes. For example, the pad thai has been almost always NOT spicy, despite the fact that it's labeled as a spicy dish. Occasionally, however, it is EXTREMELY spicy. Also, sometimes it is very wet, with a bland-tasting, loose sauce. Yet other times it is very oily. And then again, there are the times that it is loaded with rice noodles that haven't even hit the sauce and it's a pile of dry noodles with sauce surrounding it. However, we never complained. We loved the place. We loved the location. We loved the "homey" atmosphere and the personal attention we received from being regular customers. Unfortunately, we will not -- and CANNOT -- go back to this establishment again after our treatment today. My boyfriend and I took our children there for lunch as a treat. The first dish that came out was my pad thai -- just that one dish. Everyone else waited and waited. Finally, I took a bite of my food because I figured it would get cold as I waited, and I discovered that it already WAS cold. I told the waitress, and she took it back, with apologies. She returned with a clearly microwaved version of the same dish I sent back, which was disappointing for such a "high scale" Asian restaurant. Still, my boyfriend and our kids were waiting to be served. Two more dishes came out. The other kids continued to wait. Our waitress noticed that no one was eating yet and laughed, "You don't want to eat without the others' food?" And we explained that we didn't. She acted like it wasn't odd at all that our table's order was coming out piecemeal. Finally, we all had our meals. All of the fried items (egg rolls and dumplings) were extremely greasy, to the point where they squirted oil when you bit into them. We were going to let this go, until I discovered how greasy my pad thai was. It was swimming in oil, and microwaving it probably didn't help that. It also didn't taste like anything at all. I picked at it, and then finally asked the waitress to take it because I couldn't eat it due to the oil. I also explained that it didn't taste very good. She said, "Next time, I'll tell the chef not to put so much oil." Um, how about just telling the chef that he didn't make it right? When the waitress brought the check, we noticed that the pad thai was not removed from the bill. We asked the waitress to remove it because I had sent it back because it was too oily to eat. At that point, the manager, Nicole -- who always acts very friendly and nice to us -- came over and with a very large, phony smile and began to argue that "everything is cooked the same and no one else complains," and then she pointed out that I order that dish all the time and "it's always okay." I said that it is actually NOT always okay, that it is actually very inconsistently made, but that this time it was INEDIBLE. I also pointed out that the fried food on everyone's plate (including the egg roll that came with my pad thai) was very greasy. She denied that, and proceeded to tell me that "we use the same vat of oil for all our fried food so it is impossible for the appetizers to be too greasy." This obviously makes no sense, and also, she is seriously arguing with me about whether the food was good or not?? I could not believe how she was talking to me! Then she flatly refused to take the pad thai off the bill "because there was nothing wrong with the food. It's always the same." We're talking SEVEN DOLLARS that Nicole was arguing. This woman should not be in charge of a restaurant! How unprofessional! To make matters worse, she then refused to honor the coupon we had for no reason -- she just gave it back to us. Very childish! For two years, I had many so-so meals that I could've complained about, but not once did I send any food back. This was the first time, and suddenly all of her friendliness and sweetness over the years went right out the window. I told her very calmly that we wouldn't be able to come there anymore because of how she was handling this, and she said with a big, phony smile, "Good. Don't come anymore." WOW! And then she proceeded to mouth off at us all the way out the door. I said, "I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about this." She called out as we left, "You go right ahead and tell everyone!" UNBELIEVABLE! I am beyond disgusted with and disappointed in this poorly run establishment. read more

I have been going to Fusion House for years now, their food is just simply delicious ! I love sushi, but FH tastes much more fresh. Crab Rangoon has tons of crab meat in it, crispy deliciousness; good to perfection. I haven't had a bad plate yet. Vegetable Lo Mein is very flavorful, PooPoo Platter for 2 is honestly enough for 4. Whether you dine in or get takeout it will be great ! Good for Functions, Family, or Date Night. We went to Fusion House for lunch. I had the ginger chicken with green beans lunch special and my wife had shrimp tempura bento box. The chicken dish was tender and delicious, seasoned perfectly. I enjoyed it tremendously. It came with two of the best crab rangoon I've ever tasted (I think I detected some chive in the filling), and fried rice. Everything tasted very fresh. My wife, on the other hand said that the tempura batter was heavy and greasy, more like the batter used for sweet-and-sour chicken in a Chinese restaurant. It was definitely not the light, fluffy tempura batter used in a Japanese restaurant. The two shrimp were overcooked and very chewy. The bento box also came with California roll (sushi) which tasted fresh and delicious, and fried dumpling which was good, (We had previously visited Fusion House and ordered sushi, which was above average.) I am giving this review 4* because most of the food we've had at Fusion House was exceptionally good. But we will never order tempura again. read more

Delicious food, excellent Mai Tai. I had a traditional Chinese dish of aromatic scallops, while my husband and our friend had sushi. We actually had our server bring back the menu so we could order more food. I just tried to order from Fusion House for the first time. A woman answered the phone who seemed completely disorganized and confused. When I asked to place an order for pick up (for 2 people, so not that much food), she said it would be an hour and forty minutes. I said "wow, that long?" My husband and I were in Methuen on the way up to NH and were looking for a place to eat. Fusion House is in a little strip mall and looks very unassuming, but we decided to give it a shot. And are we glad we did! For us, this was a great find and a perfect spot to make us both happy and full. I love Japanese and my husband loves Chinese, and this restaurant does both cuisines well. I had a house salad, two varieties of maki rolls, and white rice. My husband ordered chicken fingers, beef with broccoli, and pork fried rice. Everything was really tasty and fresh, and we were both happy with our meals. The prices were standard and fair, not a deal or a ripoff. The service was on point- attentive but not hovering. It was Friday early evening and not many people were seated at tables so I'm not sure if the waiters were just looking for something to do, but we were happy. I grew up in California, near San Francisco, and I think this is the best Chinese food I have found since moving to Mass. Everything I have tried is delicious, the staff is friendly, and pricing is reasonable. Love the crispy pan fried noodles, the spicy green beans, and won ton soup, but everything is good. Location is a little small, so if you go on a Friday or Saturday there is always a wait, and not a lot of space to wait in. Take out would be the safer option. read more

Last time Ill order here, got vegetable mooshi and the mooshi patties were all stuck together, the mooshi was dry. My girlfriends meal they forgot two items had to come back, im glad they did come back, because the price of the food is ridiculous and the price they charge for delivery is even worse. its good if you go in and sit down and eat, but dont get delivery from this place, it's never right. read more

The sushi is the best part about this place. Like someone else previously stated the main dishes do not bring rice on the side which I found weird. Ate their for the first time this past week and my wife and I thought it was really good. The restaurant itself has its own parking, and the interior is small and clean. We had a sushi roll that consisted of shrimp tempura surrounded by rice and topped with crab meat ("snow on the mountain") that we thought was fabulous. We also had a fried noodle dish with vegetables and beef that contained all fresh ingredients. Our server was very attentive, and made sure that we were happy with everything we got. We will definitely go back. We went on a Tuesday and had no trouble getting in, but we have heard from others that the place is wall-to-wall on weekends and you should expect to wait an hour or so at peak dining times to get seated. read more

I went to east coast for vacation and was craving for some sushi. This restaurant was the closest one near the area with good reviews. The reviews did not lied. This place is very well rounded. The sushi are beautifully presented, and they tasted wonderful. They have very unique rolls that I haven't eaten before. And have yet to find some of the rolls back in California. read more

Love this restaurant! Food is fresh & very good. Love the sushi maki rolls. I first went here thinking it was the crappy Chinese place that USED to be there and was surprised. I've been back many times, and have taken my friends - and now THEY have returned. The food is fresh and wonderful - even the fried food is light and crispy. Something for all Asian palates - Chinese, Japanese, and I think I saw a little Polynesian on the menu too (don't quote me on that one).
