I gotta say that this fairly new restaurant slipped past me due to its slightly off the main drag location. If not for Yelp's hot new businesses category I probably would remain unaware. Curious, I dropped by the first time and tried the Korean ribs with rice and an appetizer. I was the only person there and it felt a bit strange. To his credit, the guy who served me was friendly and told me a little about the place. I found the cost to portion a bit high, and would rate the dish and wings only 3 stars apiece based on flavors, although I did get happy hour pricing on the wings. The second visit was like the first: no one there. I always root for the underdog, but this looks bad for the survival of a new place. I moved on in the menu and enjoyed the selection, and once again service was casual but capable (it had to be, only one customer, me). I left thinking I'd give them another shot. Third visit. This time there was another couple there eating, but when they left I found myself in a now familiar situation: dining alone in a big room. The pho proved to be the best dish I've tried here. Reasonably priced, albeit limited in options. However, I was happy with it as is. The broth tasted more authentic than the attempts at "fusion" I sampled previously. It is interesting that they also carry Italian options, but the lasagna must be made with prime steaks, because at nearly $16 it is $5-6 more than most competitors with a proven product. While I'm not rushing back anytime soon, their late hours could put them on the options list. I do hope that they succeed and find their true calling with regard to the menu. read more

My uncle and I were driving through downtown Riverside looking for a spot to eat. We opened up the yelp app and found this place close by. This place is a totally chill. Easy jazz music , friendly staff and excellent food. Natalie was a great bartender, waitress and security guard. Cheyenne was also behind the bar giving great service and delicious cocktails. It's actually a bar that serves Vietnamese and Italian food. They serve raspberry iced tea but if you want regular iced tea they bring you hot tea and a glass of ice. Their spring rolls are good but their peanut sauce is waaay too sweet. My husband says the margarita is very good. The sandwich was great as was the beef salad. The vermicelli with shrimp was okay. The shrimp had an excellent flavor but the lettuce was not cut very thin and the sauce didn't have enough flavor. To be fair, I might be getting a cold so don't take my word for it. Served with a good helping of white rice. I sampled his teriyaki chicken and it was delicious! I ordered the vermicelli with charbroiled Chicken and egg roll. It came on a bed of lettuce, with chopped cucumber, a little cilantro, charbroiled chopped chicken pieces, and a big helping of cooked vermicelli on top. I asked them to hold the peanuts and they did. An interesting mint-tasting, sort of vinaigrette, clear sauce was served on the side. The egg rolls are devine!! Prices are good, the ambiance in the restaurant was great, and the service was excellent with a helpful, friendly staff. We will most definitely be back and very soon! read more

So fresh and healthy. I got a chicken salad of sorts (forgot the exact name) I wasn't sure at the beginning but it grew on me. lol It was a good sized portion and my husband helped to finish it. He got a vegetarian stir fry item that was spicy basil. He liked it but said it got hotter as he ate. She was awesome about refilling his water!
