    Shaken beef (bo luc lac)
    Helen H.

This is a tiny restaurant and bar with options for many eaters, including vegan options. I rate it as 3.5. The shaken beef (Bo luc lac) was very soft and tender with tons of garlic and raw purple onions and sautéed mushrooms. I prefer the onions to be cooked a little bit to make it more palatable. There was no typical side of lime with salt and pepper. The edamame was good and drenched in a soy flavor. The salad was good, but came with too much dressing that was somewhat too sweet. The dishes here are overly salty, but did pack a punch of flavor. Portions on some of the dishes are overly generous. The ambiance has a touch of imitation vines on the bulbs and was dim at night.

Food: 3.75-4.00. Came by for a Tuesday lunch. When we entered, we were promptly greeted and offered a table. We ordered their Garlic Wings, Vietnamese Sandwich (Grilled Pork), Vermicelli (Combination Charbroiled Beef, Shrimp, and Egg Roll), and fries. Food came out timely and at the right temperature. Wings were flavorful but I wish they were more crispy. Sandwich was a nice size and had very good flavor. Vermicelli was good. Service was prompt and efficient. Place is small but has a full bar Service: 4.25 Ambiance: 3.5 Value: 3.75

10/10 would recommend ,very savory food and awesome service, the ambiance is very laid back I came in on a Friday night around 8:30 and the restaurant was very chill.

Nice spot that offers a bar. The staff were friendly and checked in multiple times. I ordered the beef pho and added meatballs, the broth seemed mild but quickly dressed up with fixings and it seemed to fix the issue. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the food but the bowl it came in could have been larger since I spilled some of the broth at the start while moving the noodles and toppings to mix them.

My fiance and I try to keep our meat consumption to a minimum and decided to give Fusion a try since we had heard they had a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. The short of it, excellent customer service from the bartender/waitress, food was mediocre. We came around 6pm on a Saturday night, had no issues getting a seat immediately and immediate service. We quickly realized the bartender seemed to also be the waitress with no help from anyone else. She was very friendly, helpful and attentive given having to multitask and be spread thin. We ordered vegan spring rolls as a appetizer, they were really good and the peanut dipping sauce is probably the best I've ever had! For dinner, I ordered the Bo Luc Lac and my fiance ordered a vegan tofu "from the wok" dish. Nothing on the vegan /vegetarian menu stood out as sounding delicious so I decided to try something other than what I normally would and got the Bo Luc Lac, which was essentially fillet mignon sautéed with mushroom and onion, a side spring salad and steamed rice. The dressing on the salad was great, but some of the filet mignon was tough and the dish overall was way too peppery for my taste. I have never had Vietnamese food so I am not sure if that's typical, but I would not order it again. I did not finish it and even when I tried to eat my left overs the next day, I just couldn't do it. My fiancé however liked his dish, even though he ordered it with no onions or green beans and it came to us with both. Our waitress definitely wrote it down and confirmed it when he ordered, so I am not sure where the miscommunication happened. He was starving when it arrived and didn't want to wait to eat so he picked out all the chopped onion and left the green beans. The carrots also were crinkle cut, which is a dead give away that the veggies are frozen and from a bag, not fresh, which is disappointing. He was still hungry so he ordered a side of egg rolls as well, which were fine. I cannot recall the name but I also ordered a cocktail that has Skrewball PB whiskey, tequila, mango purée and was supposed to have tajin on the rim, but that was missing when it arrived. I asked the bartender to go easy on the purée to try to help make it less sweet, and she did, and I actually really enjoyed this drink, but I do think it had a excessive amount of ice in it for a $9 drink. I am not sure if I will come back or not, it seems a lot of others who have come in have had great experiences so maybe we came on a off day? If I do I'll try to make sure to update my review.

    Chicken wings

Awesome place. Super nice bartender and the owner is really nice also. Good food also. The pics I included were an after thought after I started eating. The fried rice portion is enough for two people. The chicken wings are really good and spiced with Jalapenos Nice customers and has outside patio

Our table ordered a variety of their vermicelli bowls (short rib, chicken, grilled pork+shrimp), Pho (special combo and brisket), eggrolls, thai iced tea, and vietnamese iced coffee. Everything we ordered was so delicious and there were generous portions of meat in all of our dishes. The fish sauce that came with the vermicelli bowls was super delicious and tasted so much more flavorful than any other Vietnamese restaurant I've dined at. The pho broth was piping hot and tasted so clean and refreshing. Drinks were also great and I honestly loved everything about today's lunch! I ordered a plate of beef & broccoli, steamed buns, and orange chicken plus a side of rice. Definitely had to take some home. The flavors were true to Chinese dishes. Things to note: Beef & Broccoli was a bit heavy on the oyster sauce for my taste, so it was a tad saltier than I'd like. I eat plain, but it balances out with the rice. My husband likes more intense flavors so it was perfect for him. Once the dish cools though, you do notice some of the sauce congeal because of the cornstarch. The orange chicken is not what anyone expects when they hear orange chicken. It's not crispy. Instead, it's slightly chewy because it's thinly cut chicken, but makes up for it with a great depth of flavor. There's much I wanted to try on the menu. I'll have to come back!

Secondly, it tasted really good. I ordered the vegetarian rice noodles. My only regret is that I didn't tell them I wanted the big flat noodles, so they defaulted to the skinny spaghetti-like ones. Now I know that even if they don't ask, tell them what I'd prefer anyway. Lastly, the portions are big enough to bring leftovers home which is a big deal for me since eating out can be expensive. If I'm paying that much, being able to get a second meal out of it is much appreciated. Parking wasn't an issue. I immediately found one right in front of the restaurant. As for the restaurant itself, it's modern and clean. Beware that if you end up sitting facing the windows like I did, I was blinded by the sun shining off a car window, so I had to scoot all the way inside the booth. It's because the door is made of glass and unlike the other windows it doesn't have signs to block glare. When I was about to leave, I told them there was no more toilet paper in the restroom and they went out of their way to stop what they were doing to get more for me. Apparently, the cabinet inside the restroom was empty, so one of the employees had to call another employee for help and they found more in another cabinet outside the restroom. I quite enjoyed my experience here and just writing this I'm already craving more of the food I had ordered.

However, I recently read their reviews and laughed that they give straight peanut butter as a dipping sauce for their spring rolls. That is a big no-no. Anywho, I was going to do takeout and drive home to eat because I had my dogs with me, but after I ordered I saw there was a table outside so I decided to stay. I ordered their salmon special with garlic noodles, spring rolls, and a vietnamese coffee. Total was $33 and I was able to split the portions for lunch and dinner. When I entered I did not speak vietnamese and neither was the employee in the front aware I was viet. After I paid and didn't leave a tip, she said something in vietnamese about either giving me a smaller portion because I didn't leave a tip or just complaining about not receiving a tip. Once I got my food and said thank you in vietnamese, the employee in the front got real quiet. Lmao I sat outside with the fur babies and enjoyed my salmon. It was flavorful but noodles were kind of dry. The spring rolls came in 2. They add avocado, tofu, and jicima in addition to other ingredients. This isn't your traditional spring roll. I can also confirm that dipping sauce is straight peanut butter with not even enough water mixed in to make the texture smooth. Its like getting a cup of peanut butter that is watery on the top and dry and chunky from the middle down. A sauce like this will not be acceptable in the vietnamese community down in Bolsa. Haha! The coffee was also only okay, didn't finish it. I dont think I would drive out of my way to eat here.
