When I was first introduced to Aroma, I was struck by the atmosphere. Its a bit dark inside with wear and tear on the booths and menus. But I had been recommended by a friend and the food did not disappoint. The service was a little bit slow, but our waiter was friendly and the food pricing was very reasonable. Definitely the best value sushi in the area. And they don't compromise on the taste. My only complaint was I tried some of my friends fried rolls, which tasted great, but weren't warm. And it did take a bit to get our food. Overall would recommend for any sushi lovers that dont want to break the bank.

My waitress was super nice, the service was fast, the restaurant was nice and quiet at 3pm on a Friday. Order miso soup and a glass of wine for their happy hour 3pm-6pm. Ordered the Godzilla roll but unfortunately there was a small black hair in the ginger on the side so I asked for check and didn't eat the roll. Hygiene is super important to me so I won't be coming back.

Service was very friendly and helpful. I got the miso soup and fried green beans and we got a bunch of rolls and a teriyaki platter with shrimp (yum!). We ate the green beans so quickly and I didn't have a chance to take a photo. We loved them. All the rolls were good and made fresh - of course our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so we took home the left overs. We also got the saki strawberry to drink - we'd highly recommend. Great flavor! We'll be back! And yes, a game was on the t.v.

L - R: Yellowtail scallion, Volcano, Spider, Playgirl. Got the eel sauce as a side sauce for the first time. Game changer!

A go to on the rotation. They are consistently good but do get crowded but have always had good service. They even offer discounted sushi for carryout. I'd hit it...again.

All this and 20% tip for $15

I didn't realize it was still half price off the printed menu and assumed the prices on the sushi menu were already discounted. It was a steal of a lunch! Three rolls with 20% tip $15. It was cheaper than going to Fusasian. The layout has changed a bit since COVID with seating now booth-like vs just tables. I only knocked off a star because walking in the restaurant had an unpleasant scent. If you can get past that, they seat you quickly, the servers are attentive and the food comes out fast. Sushi has good quality fish and they don't pack on the rice as you might expect.

One of my wife's favorite sushi spots. They have some great sushi and a lot of half price rolls for dine in. I've had several of their rolls, and am also a fan of the pad thai and their sweet chili chicken. Today I had the special, which was a Korean spicy pork bulgogi and was excellent. My wife loved her Phoenix roll and lychee martini!

The service we had was great. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. The ambiance is pretty dark and simple. We got several sushi rolls and veggie pad Thai. They have half priced sushi every day, which is awesome. It's not the best sushi or pad Thai I've had in town, but it's decent.

Aroma Sushi has the best Sunday Morning roll in all of Cincinnati. That being said, I have very mixed feelings on this place. The interior is... fine. The seats are a little scuffed up and the music is solid. It's just not the place I'm looking for when I think of getting sushi. That being said, the prices are amazing. It's great for any 20 something or family of 5 looking for a cheap, delicious sushi spot. Just not for me.

Great food, portions, and service! Everything we had was hot, fresh, and delicious. This definitely makes our sushi rotation for trying again. The ambiance was also very cool and location was great for shopping. They had a very cool 3D picture/sign of the roebling bridge which was awesome. Perfect stop to refuel when in the area for your shopping needs. I'd love to tell you something specific to get but everything we had was great! Try it all!

It's located outside Kenwood town centre which means it can be quite busy especially near holiday season when people are out shopping. They have an extensive list of special rolls to try and it's HALF PRICED- even the sashimi and nigiri too. My recommendation is the Cincinnati roll as there's mango inside(which is not often seen in many sushi restaurants). As an unagi(eel) lover, I'm sad that they do not have much eel special rolls. The only two is the double dragon and dragon roll. Thus, I have to get some unagi nigiri which is quite expensive. It's a busy night as usual but I did not have to wait long for the sushi. It's even longer to get a table so it's better to make reservation before you do the shopping.

I went with two friends for lunch on a Sunday - it wasn't busy and they had the bengals game on. It appeared there were some regulars there watching the game and enjoying some noms. We each ordered a bunch of rolls and shared. Sushi is half priced every day when you eat in. The highlight was the Hawaiian Roll and the Play Girl. I also ordered the Dragon Roll and added cream cheese which was a good call. I love that you can add cream cheese to any roll for $1! Ordering is a breeze but please do make sure you read the description and provide all details needed to ensure order accuracy. The rolls came out on two giant plates - probably more sanitary than the giant wooden boats or bridges used elsewhere but I was still a little irrationally sad. You cannot enter through the mall which, to me, is a little weird... if you're going just for Aroma, your best bet is to park on the side of the mall across from Trio (easy in, easy out, short walk). I was also disappointed by humanity and that they needed to post disclaimers/notices and this distracted me at the table... the signage stated that they offered no refunds or exchanges for misordered rolls and a reminder to please eat and leave if there is a line of people waiting for a table... kudos to Aroma for at least not using comic sans. Service was fast and friendly but we weren't offered refills on drinks and we had to ask for a third set of chopsticks and a soy sauce bowl (we were originally given only 2 for 3 people).

Chris runs the place, and if kindness were a competitive sport his family would already have Olympic gold. Chris and his kids treat customers the way you wish every business in America still did..,,like you're a neighbor, not a transaction. You walk in hungry and leave feeling like you've been adopted. Now the food. The Thai dishes are the real deal, bright, balanced, and so good you start wondering if the chef has a secret tunnel to Bangkok. But the sushi? That's where things get suspicious. The fish is so fresh and high-quality it feels like the tuna signed a waiver before arriving. Their standards are higher than most politicians claim for themselves. The result: incredible Thai food, exemplary sushi, and a family running the place with genuine warmth. In a world full of chain restaurants that feel like airport terminals with menus, Chris and his crew built something rare, food that's excellent and people who are even better. Eat here once and you'll understand why regulars keep coming back. Eat here twice and you'll start wondering if you should just rent an apartment nearby. Cincinnati is lucky to have them. And frankly, so is anyone with a fork.

Steamed vegetables tasted like they were out of a bag. Lastly, the sauce barely tasted like tamarind. Was this worth $30? Absolutely not. Seared salmon was ok. The service was great. The place felt clean and seemed liked a good hangout spot.

Ordered green tea, a Jade Dynasty cocktail and pot stickers to enjoy while we perused the menu (including the picture book!). The pot stickers were delicious! More like meatballs inside, served with a I-don't-know-what-this-is-but-it's-delicious sauce. We ordered and were pretty quickly delivered our mains: How Fun noodles (level 2 spice) with chicken and Pepper Beef (level 3 spice). Both were outstanding! The sauces on both were savory and delicious. The noodles were great - not slimy like they can sometimes be but firm yet delicate. The chicken was tasty. The pepper beef was tangy and tender with a nice balance of peppers and onions. Serving sizes big enough for lunch the next day. Vibrant decor made the place really feel alive and servers were friendly and efficient. We found street parking but I assume this part of Covington gets busy on weekend nights so allow a few minutes to find a spot. Bonus tip: stop at DelGardo's down the street and get a couple cannoli for dessert. Perfect end to a delicious meal!

Restaurant was crowded but we were sat immediately. Service was good - not super attentive but we were able to order quickly. I had to ask for more water throughout the meal and then they brought checks and boxes before we asked while we were still eating. We ordered the dumplings, orange chicken and how fun noodles. They have a spicy scale of 1-10, I opted for the 5 on the how fun noodles, and they were spicy!! Made me wonder what a 10 would taste like. Dumplings were good - though the bottom broke on them while we were eating them. Definitely homemade! My daughter loved the orange chicken / it also had cucumbers which she didn't love. My noodles were okay - nothing memorable in terms of flavor and very spicy. Overall a bright, well themed restaurant but I don't think I'd go back for the food.

I believe the food tastes significantly better than Kyoto, just down the street. It's a good bit cleaner inside too. We are in Mason OH for a sporting event and my daughter was craving sushi. After a quick search on…read moregoogle and Yelp she found this restaurant and based on the reviews decided to check it out. It's located in a strip mall next to Kroger. It's a smallish restaurant that has six 4+ top tables and a sushi bar. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a nice woman who was also our waitress and prepared food. The menu included some basic sushi rolls, a few speciality rolls, hibachi items, rice bowls and appetizers. It's small but includes a lot of classics. We ordered two house salads, miso soup, gyoza, crab Rangoon, spicy tuna roll, tempura California roll, and Thai boba tea. (We were hungry!) We had read a few reviews that service was slow but we had the opposite experience. The food came out extremely fast! Our salads and soup arrived first and then almost everything arrived at once, hot and fresh! The restaurant only had 2 other seated tables but they had a fair amount of togo orders while we were waiting. Let's start with salad and soup - traditional hibachi type salad and soup. The salad had the dressing on the side in cute heart shaped bowl. The soup was traditional and was hot and tasty. Next up appetizers - the menu didn't indicate the gyoza was deep fried but it was very good too. Crispy on the outside and moist and filling in the middle. The crab Rangoon had been mentioned in previous reviews and I'm so glad we tried it. It's on the sweeter side but filling is very creamy with pieces of imitation crab. I'd recommend them both. Finally onto the rolls - my daughter loved her California tempura roll - packed with traditional California roll filling and perfectly fried. My spicy tuna roll was extremely delicious, a little spicy and packed with flavor. Our total was $45, but we had a really great and extremely filling meal. I'd highly recommend dining in or ordering togo. Service was excellent and our waitress was so nice. One last detail, they have wooden chairs with smiley faces cut out.
