Next to open heart surgery I think buying a car is the next stressful event in ones life. The haggle, the back and forth, the hours in the box. Just the thought of needing to buy a car makes me want to have my wisdom teeth pulled out again. However...I have never had a more painless, professional, simple, easy, hassle free car buying experience than what I experienced yesterday. This all started Saturday when I came to this dealership to drop of my end of lease. My salesperson was Ed Osuna. Super nice, laid back, no pressure tactics. We asked if we could drive the new Seltos and he kindly obliged. During that time the manager Aaron came out and greeted my wife and son and that was really nice. We took the drive and decided that the Seltos was not enough car for us, but we had to think about it. They shook our hands and let us leave. After I got home and a few hours later I called Ed and told him I wanted to work out numbers on a Sportage. I went online filled out their application to get ahead of the wait time and to make sure we were qualified. By phone we discussed some numbers and ultimately came close to reaching an agreed price. Then his manager Jose called me. We spoke and it was just a simple conversation about what I was looking for and what he could do. Withing a few minutes it was settled. I live about an hour away so I asked if they could have everything ready and to please not do the "car" games and wait games I am used too. When I got to the dealership our car was outside, clean, fueled and ready to go. The paperwork was ready and Hector called us into finance. Super nice finance guy, efficient, friendly and no pressure as well. I am just beyond impressed with these 4 guys. Aaron & Jose (managers), my sales guy Ed Osuna and the finance guy Hector. You 4 have earned my future business and brought more revenue to the service department. Keep up the good work. Do not go here to buy a car. We had scheduled an appointment and on our way we're asked to confirm the appointment. When we got to the dealership we were told that they sold the car yesterday! We drove from two hours away and they knew that to tell us that they sold it but wanted us to put a deposit on another vehicle. The sales person was extremely disrespectful after figuring out we would t be doing that. Do not go to this dealership. read more

I do wish is was possible to give negative star reviews. I purchased a car from them and had it less the 30 days before the transmission completely went out and the car had to be towed back to the dealership. We were quoted up to 45 days for it to be looked at. I then called the sales manager to discuss returning the vehicle because it obviously had undisclosed problems. They called me back the next day and said the car would be looked at immediately. They found that the transmission had indeed went out,which was fully covered by the warranty. Looking at up to 30 days to get a new one,we asked about rental cars/loaner cars. They approved a one week rental. I have no transportation and live in a very rural area,which is why I bought the car and warranty to begin with. There is no public transportation and nothing without a 30 minutes drive,4 hour walk from my residence. I have already spent 900 on car rentals for the past 3 wks and can not afford any more. I went to pick up the rental that said they had for me (for a 7 day rental) after paying someone 50 dollars to give me a ride ,I was told they never had a reservation for me and I was out of luck. No matter what I do they will not return my calls,they do not care about their customers or the service they are providing them. The management team is unresponsive and they don't know what is going on,I get passed from one person to the next without any answers. My review is explicitly based on the sales team, more specifically Victor. At first Victor had a pleasant behavior, however once we started asking question about pricing he became highly defensive. He said that unless we ran our credit application, he couldn't give us a price if the vehicle. Which we didn't want to do until we knew the price of the car itself, as we are still shopping around. We went for the EV6, as we specifically wanted an EV for commuting. When we refuse to fill any paperwork with out a ball park of the car price, he got rude and offensive and said that he could sell us a 30k car instead as insinuating we couldn't possibly afford it and that's why we didn't want to fill the application. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! We love our Kia, but FUTURE KIA OF CLOVIS has left such a sour taste in our mouth that we will never buy another Kia. We payed top dollar to purchase an extended warranty for our Sedona and were told that it would cover everything except regular wear and tear like brake pads. Our AC decides today to stop working (gets cold for a second, then starts blowing hot air when the car is idle). Called Kia to get it serviced, they aren't able to schedule until end of August. We can drop it off and hope in 5-10 business days they will have gotten to it, but then we're out our car for that long. Asked to speak to a manager to hopefully get something resolved; I was hopeful they could give us a loaner in the meantime or be helpful in SOME way, but he told us we had to call the third party insurance company that handles the extended warranty (this is the FIRST time they told us the warranty was through a third party) and that they wouldn't be able to give us a rental until they diagnosed the car to SEE if the part needed is covered under the warranty, which again, would be at least 5-10 business days. We paid so much for a stupid extended warranty that we've never used, and now the one time we need KIA to come through, they are leaving us high and dry. And of course, the manager who sold us this "great" extended warranty no longer works for the dealership. Such an upsetting and disappointing experience. *update #1: it didn't take very long for them to look at our car; I got a call on Monday that they had diagnosed the problem and, because it was going to be costly, were waiting for approval from the extended warranty. Got another call on Wednesday updating me saying that the parts/labor had been approved (over 2k) so I would only be responsible for the $100 deductible (which, again, was not disclosed when we purchased the extended warranty). They are not just waiting on the parts, and we should *hopefully* get our car back by next week. I will give a final update once we have our car back. read more

Got a call from CURT telling me about they're first time buyers program stating that I would be approved and they would put me in a reliable car for 8 to 9 months all I had to do was make every payment on time, then I could pick one of they're more luxury vehicles. so I booked a appointment and came in, he gave me about 5 vehicles to choose from. I picked one didn't really care for any of the options but I picked what I thought may be the best option out of the 5 he came back with a monthly note plan and said my payment would be 750$ a month for a Kia soul 2022 and told me that after the 8 months my payment would go down and again I would be in a car that I actually wanted . so with the fact that it would only be 8 months I went ahead and did it WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! Once he took my money I didn't matter anymore and their word meant nothing!!!! they constantly gave me the run around especially after the 8 months. I made every payment on time actually early every single month not one late payment and they did not hold they're end of the bargain. the only reason I got the car was because of this supposedly first time buyers program if it wasn't for CURT lying to me about that program I would have never bought a car from them. So now what I was stuck with a car I never wanted from the beginning and a 750$ car payment. I had to do a voluntary repossession because I definitely was not going to keep paying 750 dollars a month for 76 months for a car that's only worth at the most 20,000 that I never wanted in the first place you do the math....‍ So now Instead of having no credit I have the worst credit because of this stupid car lot annnnd I have to buy another car THANKS ALOT CURT COWLING AND THANKS ALOT FURTURE FORD KIA YOU GUYS DID A GREAT JOB F**king OVER YOUR CUSTOMERS read more

Rude people with no professional experience. We went in to look at a car and walked around the lot for 10mins and then went inside to look for a rep, we saw a few but none greeted us. We took a seat at the 'waiting area' while their reps walked around not asking if we needed help or anything, they weren't even busy, the place was practically empty! We only saw one other customer that was being helped. Finally we asked for a rep and they told us to wait, which we did for another 15-20 minutes without anyone else checking in if we needed assistance, so we just left. read more

So im gonna start by saying George who I spoke with multiple times over the phone is AWESOME! He took time and listened to all my requests and wants/needs. It was only because of him I decided to come in. When I got to the dealership I was informed that George was only an online Specialist who had left for the day, and wouldn't be able to help me if he was there. Funny how I got an Email from George confirming my appointment with George but ok.... The guy that ran off the steps to help was no where near as helpful. But again I explained everything to George and he assured me it would not be in vain if I came in. It took me longer to fill out the pre-approval paperwork than it took for him to talk to the credit Dept. my trade in was never looked at, and after about 5mins he came back with no numbers, telling me everything I told him when I walked in, and that $10,000 would be needed in addition to my trade in for a $21,000 vehicle. When I asked for exact numbers he couldn't offer them only that his finance person had been in business for 25 years n knows his job, and how I needed to keep my car for another 1.5 years... blah blah blah. I have been at both my jobs for over 5 years, have 100% on time payment history, with not so great credit... The thing is I really wanted a Kia... and I really don't think he went above and beyond to help out... or even to offer other options... He basically told me if another dealership had a deal on the table I should go with them. I guess this is a Pretty Woman situation... where imma have to drive by next week in my new vehicle and beep the horn after being turned away.... Thank you to George for his AMAZING customer service, I wish he would've been the actual salesman I met with. They broke my dash panel, trying to tell me it was already broken. Put the panel on wrong and scratched up my dash board prying it out. My car was pristine inside b4 they "worked" on it & they refuse to fix the damage they did. Even worse, they took a bogus pic of the damage and said they took the pic before they worked on it, even after the tech admitted that he had worked on it before they took the pic!!! EDIT: Now they comment to contact them without leaving a contact name and they refuse any of my calls due to being scared of legal action?! I bought a 2015 Soul 7 years ago and added the full service plan. THE SERVICE DEPT performed beautifully doing all the things I expected EXCEPT FOR THE LAST TWO VISITS! There was a problem with a turn signal bulb blinking double fast. They replaced the bulb. As I'm headed home I noticed it was still not fixed after paying $65 for a bulb that retails at $4 ea. and takes less than a minute to install. Fixed it myself...my son told me all it needed was a dab of bulb lube, works perfectly. Not a huge deal, but next visit they stripped the theft proof socket and couldn't rotate the tires. Plus car wash out of order. Refused to rush the rotation through for me, so I'll take it to Costco who's always been quick. Disappointed, and worried about future service....the full svc warranty wasn't cheap, but worth it up until now. read more

Curt Cowling, a dishonest sales rep increased the price of my car by $1000, telling me it was for "bank fees". However my sales contract, reflected the additional money as part of the sales price. Bait and switch! Luckily Fernando in finance realized that it wasn't good business, nor legal to do this so he offered to write up a new contract with the correct terms. So we DID IT!! Got my wife a new car along side with my sister. We came in on Monday to look for my Wife and she ended up looking and finding something that she absolutely loved so we took it out on a test drive as the Sale Representative Robert told us about all the functions and everything that the car came equip with all while never making us feel rushed and being very straight forward. So now it came down to the real work getting the car down to the price both me and my wife wanted alongside with the Monthly payment. After maybe an hour or two of negotiating Robert finally came out with a deal that worked for both me and my wife. And I gotta say the one thing that I loved the most about purchasing from Future Kia was the fact that Rob never had to bring out his manager or somebody higher up to explain things to me as if Rob can do that himself I just appreciate dealing with people that I started with. I really hate it when people have to bring out there Managers which this exactly happened at other dealers such as Lithia and Selma. So in my book Robert Andrade (Sales)and Michael Stratford (GSM) won in my book buy being straight for and helping us out as much as possible. And the great part is that since we did all the work for my wife we brought my sister in the next day and they were able to hook her up with same pricing and get her taken care of. The thing that puts Future Kia of Clovis so far ahead of any other Kia dealership is their amazing team!! I drove about an hour to get my next car from them and I would (I probably will when my lease is up!) be driving back to do business with them again without a second thought. I began working with Future Kia because the dealership I was working with in my hometown were not willing to work with me to get to the price I wanted. There were closer dealerships but Clovis had a HUGE selection of cars and I had a pretty good feeling. I got down to the monthly payment and down payment I wanted within a couple hours OVER THE PHONE! It was so cool because I was actually at work, exchanging calls with Gary and the deal was done by the time I left work. Working with Gary was so easy, I appreciated his tactfulness, sense of humor, and knowledge of the cars. He was helpful and impressive- not to mention hilarious. We set a time to pick up the car, which I had to change at the last minute to the following day (today) and it was no problem at all. Future Kia was willing to do whatever it took to not just get my business, but to make me a happy customer. When I arrived at the dealership, there was my car waiting for me with a sign on it (I Love that!). From the moment I set foot on the lot to the moment I drove off my dad and I were treated with nothing but respect. The paperwork was done quickly, there was no last minute bargaining or arguing. I bought my 2020 Kia Soul in August after talking about upgrading to something a bit bigger for a while. I'm always so nervous when it comes to car lots! After having a terrible experience at Michael Toyota my husband and I decided to try Kia. I had my husband fill out an online contact form while we drove out to Clovis that way it could lessen our time on the lot. While we were pulling in I actually received a call from Juan responding to our online form, I laughed and let him know we actually just pulled in! Juan met us out front to introduce himself and invite us formally to Kia. He invited us inside to ask a few more questions on what we were looking for and we let him know that we were thinking either the Kia soul or niro. The process was so painless, easy and actually fun. Juan was amazing to work with and found us the best deal possible. I was able to walk (well drive) off the lot in my brand new 2020 Kia Soul completely happy. That was a few months ago and I have to say Juan's attentiveness and professionalism is top tier. A month later vehicle started not turning on at random times took 3 months for them to agree to fix it. Now a loud sound in the transmission. I hardly drive this vehicle?! They had the color and model of the vehicle I wanted . I had already had a pre-approval letter from my bank and only needed a purchase contract from the dealer so I could go back to the bank and pick it up . They said after running my credit that my from bank was higher rate than what they could give me so I naturally bought the car through them . They sold me on an overpriced service contract and gap insurance . I've owed the car for almost 4 months now , I am in the process of trying get my service and gap insurance canceled but no one in the sales and finance dept wish to return my phone calls or emails . In my long life I have dealt with many mechanics and car service departments. My first such experience last week at Future Kia was the very BEST! I called and made an appointment and got in the next week. When I took my car in I was chatting with a service advisor within a minute. I answered a few questions and signed the paperwork and was out the door in less than 10 minutes. I got a call that afternoon at 3 saying my car was ready! (I was told it could have taken up to 24 hours) My car was clean and waiting when I arrived and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Bravo Future Kia! My Letter to Fresno Kia Dealership: (no response or acknowledgement received back from dealer in response to my letter below) Monday, October 9, 2017 Future Kia 900 West Shaw Ave Clovis, Ca 93612 RE: Dissatisfied Customer Dear Kia Sales and Maintenances Managers, I am writing to voice my dissatisfaction and disappointment with my last service performed on my 2012 Kia Sorento (invoice attached). I purchased this vehicle new from your dealership and in addition, also purchased over $4,384 in additional maintenance warranties, including the Ford Extended and the Extended Service plan. One hundred percent of all maintenance on this vehicle has been performed by your dealership and up to this point; we have been very satisfied with the service. In addition, we have also recommended Future Kia to our friends and family and several have purchased vehicles as a result of our recommendations. My wife brought our car in for the 75,000-mile maintenance service, only to be informed, after arriving, that our warranty had just expired. We were told that it expired at seven years or 75,000 miles and that our vehicle now had 75,058 miles. We were also not informed of the pending expiration date at our last 70,000 mile service. I called and spoke to the service advisor, Andrew Herandez, and asked why we were not informed at our last 5,000-mile service appointment that our policy was set to expire so that we could have this last and final service covered under warranty. I also requested that this service be honored under the warranty, as our appointment was made before the expiration date and that we were only 58 miles over. I was not offered any relief or solutions other that if you want oil change you will need to pay, even though I ask. I felt like a hostage, as my wife is extremely busy and already there, I went ahead and authorized the oil change at an additional $75.00 charge. I declined the additional work that would have been performed under warranty at the 75,000-mile check, such as several fluid changes and safety inspections. Even then, she was almost turned away to begin the work, as we had gone past our appointment time discussing the warranty! As you well know, customer satisfaction is earned and sadly, you just lost ours. In addition, we are looking into buying a new car this year and have lost our motivation to look into Kia vehicles. My daughter took her car in for a service appointment at Kia. They used their automated car wash to wash her car following the service appointment. The car wash malfunctioned and damaged the entire trunk of her car. The damage is severe and will need to be repainted. We contacted the dealer and took the car down. Louie is the first person we spoke to, very rude! He called back and said you were never here.... We have the receipt!!! Joe is the "manager" he didn't even return the call for almost a full day. We took the car down there to discuss. Joe just denied it was them, but said he would never put his car through an automated car wash.... This place is a mess. Not the first issue we have had with them. If you make a mistake you should just take responsibility!! If you are a "manager" don't be a liar and explain your terrible employee's mistakes as "they have a learning curve"???? Why don't you teach your employees good customer service??? Warning!!! If you are as unfortunate as I am to have to have your car serviced here don't let them take your car through their drive through car wash they will scratch your car and take no responsibility for it!!! For starters 6 months ago I went though a different car wash and half of my passenger side mirror fell off. I went back to Kia so I could order a new one for myself, no big deal it was 40 dollars. I wasn't mad at all. The guy in parts FRANK tells me it was my fault that the mirror fell off because I know that I'm not supposed to take my car through the car wash. Nobody EVER told me that my practically brand new 2020 car was too fragile for the car wash because things will start to fall off?? But again oh well then I won't take it to the car wash I guess. I take this part I ordered to a auto paint shop to have it painted my cars color where they tell me this mirror part is not even for my model of car! He said that's weird because you bought the car there and they have your vin number. But AGAIN no big deal I just took it back and told him just let me know when I can pick up the new one. Fast forward to now 6 months later it was ordered wrong 3 TIMES and now the 4th TIME it's finally right. This part actually arrived at Kia on 4/27 but FRANK didn't bother to call me it was just sitting there. When I showed up to pick it up all he had to say was "oh sorry I guess I'll comp this one since you paid the first time" after waiting 6 months for them to get their ordering straight it might as well be free!! So anyways I have NOT washed my car in 6 months due to the exposed wires on my mirror I do not want to get them wet so I was waiting for that part. Well a week ago I took my car to Kia for a standard service they did not tell me they were going to wash my car. Well I picked my car up it was washed and my trunk was completely scraped up I called back to tell them of the damage and LOUIE tells me on the phone that I was never in that week for a oil change and there is no record of it and I was there in December. I have a receipt and I waited a full 3 hours so I was for sure there. All the sudden there's record. I meet with the manager JOE who says sorry about LOUIE he has a learning curve. He then says they also keep record of how your car looked before you came in so I said please show me that I came in with this trunk full of scratches and he said again there was no record!!! but then long story short they didn't do it that no way it was their crappy car wash! JOE said out of his own mouth I wouldn't personally take my car through it but it's safe for your car LOL WHAT That is not true that is a lie!! They need to take responsibility for what is right!! I am not asking for anything other than for them to fix the damage they have caused! I took my car to a auto paint shop in town to see what they thought could cause that type of damage they said a automatic car wash I have not washed my car in 6 months!!! I took my Kia in for service on 12/23 and expressed concern with a low tire light. Gabriel, the Kia employee who I seemed to be bothering with my presence, didn't even pay attention to my concern. When we picked the car up my husband asked about the tire. Gabriel said they found nothing in the tire. Today I woke up to a FLAT TIRE! Thank goodness for Les Schwab in Hanford.
