We hate this place because we get really shitty service here. They've actually forgotten to make our order before. And one time the cashier wouldn't wait on us even though there wasn't anyone else in line. We had to wait for this woman who came in before us to go to her table, ask her friends what they wanted to drink and then come BACK up to the cash register so she could order her beers at 8:30 in the morning. We just stood there in shock at how rude this cashier guy was and then we left and went to Shipley's for breakfast. we used to be regular customers here but they don't appreciate the customers so we are never coming back. read more

I've reviewed Fuzzy's before and gave it a good rating. However, one change is making me rethink my opinion. Every Fuzzy's store now uses lower quality, less tasty tortilla chips. They are too thick and almost taste stale. So, if you're a regular at Fuzzy's like I am please take the time to write or call their corporate office and voice your displeasure about the new chips. I've been going to the Berry St. location in Fort Worth for years and to find out they opened in Arlington was totally golden. :) I am a lover of spicy fish tacos. To enjoy it here, you gotta order it habanero style, fried, and on a corn tortilla with a twist of lime. If not, forget about it. There's something magical about this taco when served with a Corona and lime. You automatically get transported to the Boardwalk in Huntington Beach, CA. Just push back your sunglasses and open wide. Be ready for a fiesta in your mouth. The other items on the menu. eh. well stay away from their chicken nachos. I swear they make it with canned chicken. If they don't, they sure season the chicken to taste like they do. There's usually a good line so be prepared to wait, but rest assured- it's worth it. This is the worst fuzzys I've been to. Each time I've been to this location they've either messed up my order or been stingy with an ingredient. Today I asked for extra shrimp on my sandwich and was charged $4 for it I'm fine with being charged extra for that. I posted a picture of the sandwich with extra shrimp. I told the cook about it and they said that there was extra on the sandwich and that they normally only put 4 pieces on each sandwich. I call bs on that. I'm never coming back to this location and will tell my friends and coworkers about it. read more

visited fuzzy's this weekend. never heard of it until my husband's friend's wife started raving about it as we drove passed it looking for a bar. we stopped by afterwards to check it out. i was starving! i ordered the garlic beef burrito with chips and queso and my husband ordered a combo platter with a beef enchilada and garlic beef taco. after hearing the raves about how great the garlic beef was and the hot sauce, i was pretty psyched. after taking a few bites of my burrito, my mind was not blown. it was just a burrito...nothing special. i would prefer one from chipotle. the hot sauce didn't make it much better. the chips and queso were muy bueno. my husband said his dish had an overwhelming flavor of garlic, but after having a bite of his enchilada, seemed like he was just talking jive. it was ok, but i won't be driving 20 minutes outta my way for it. maybe i should have tried a breakfast taco instead. read more

The management here was the worst we have ever experienced. My husband had $20 in rewards from the Fuzzy's app. Which we earned $20 on the several visits. My husband had the code ready for the cashier and the cashier hit the button to redeem then clearing the code. the cashier spoke to the manager. He did NOT HONOR it. The manage was speaking Spanish. This we found very very rude. How do you not honor it? Not even a discount for the inconvenience. By the way we dined and our received a portion of our order. I went there with my Mother and was disappointed to find "white people Mexican food," i.e. chile con queso that tasted like Velveeta, pork tacos NOT al pastor or seasoned at all, & sugary salsa. I brought my Mom here since she wanted to try it. Conversation was impossible as the P.A. blasted order numbers at a level that stopped all conversation. I had been in New York on vacation and was looking forward to real Mexican food. This wasn't it. The food is really bad and won't appeal to anyone who enjoys genuine Tex-Mex or Mex-Mex. This place was not worth all the hype..Or was it? I don't know what it is about Tex-Mex.. maybe I'm just not a fan..from reading previous reviews this location is a hit or miss...today must have been a miss! I notice that there is a trend with reviews...almost everyone raves about the margaritas...you have to be drunk to enjoy this food..the guac was brown it wasn't green like guac should be. I came in around 9PM on a Sunday night and there wasn't really much of a line. Ordered a shredded chicken taco and it was pretty good. If you're in the mood for tacos- I'd recommend going here as opposed to a Taco Bell. The only critique I have is the customer service. I didn't notice the bucket for all of the pagers and the employee that pointed it out wasn't very friendly about it, nor was he all that friendly when he took my order. I place a order on my way home from work. It says my order will be ready by a certain time. I get it was close to closing time but I still had time to put my order in online. I get there by the time my order says it will be ready and they locked they doors. I call into Fuzzy's because well maybe they will have my order ready to pick up. The guy answers the phone I'm literally talking to him on the phone THROUGH THE WINDOW! Wouldn't even come to the door. He said no your ticket says tomorrow! I said no my online receipt says pick up TODAY! Still wouldn't come to the door to check. I asked for a refund he says sorry come back tomorrow we already closed. I said I placed my order before your closing time. Wouldn't do a refund! Kept saying sorry come back tomorrow over the phone. I leave I call him back because I thought well maybe my order says tomorrow and I'm wrong. NO! It said pick up TODAY. I call Fuzzy's as I'm on my way home home since I didn't get my food. He answer realizes it's me and hangs up! I call back again he answers says sorry we're closed hangs up. I call back again and does the same thing 5 times. Because he knew it was me calling. I really liked it here at Fuzzy's because it is the perfect balance between a restaurant and fast food. The food is ready quickly, awesome choices for alcohol, but you pick up the food yourself instead of having a server. This is the only location I've been to, but after having been here in Arlington, I will visit the one in OKC as well. I loved their top shelf margarita! The amount of food I get is a great value for what I pay and the flavors are stand out. Being from the northeast, we have a assumption of what a typical taco looks like. At Fuzzy's, the taco is reinvented with a touch of feta cheese and cilantro like I have never seen. It compliments the taco very well and the hot sauce has just the right amount of spice AND flavor. When I moved out to Texas, the first question I asked is where can I get good Mexican. They said Fuzzy's, because it has great Queso. QUESO does NOT make a good mexican place, maybe Tex-Mex. Fuzzy's is okay but not much flavor, I like seasoning on my meat and like spice. Fuzzy's is a bit more bland. Might work for some people, but not for me. Garlic shredded beef salad is pretty decent and Margaritas are good. Huge Frosty mugs for Beer is what moved it from 2 stars to 3. At the end of the day if you want tex-mex it gets the job done. This is a great place to get together with a big group, great location in Downtown Arlington which has really made some strides lately. Lots of seating and fast service.
