Good, Solid Tacos - Not Quite Fantastic... I swung by Fuzzy's Tacos in Grapevine recently, looking for a casual bite, and it largely hit the spot. My service was good, there was a new guy on the register and he did a nice job, emperor being new. The kitchen prepared my meal fairly quickly. I opted for the Grilled Shrimp Tacos, and they were definitely good. The shrimp were well-cooked and flavorful, and the overall combination of ingredients was enjoyable. They were a bit over-powered by the garlic sauce they put on the taco, but that's just my taste. Along with that, I got the Queso and Chips The queso was a bit thin but still satisfying, and the chips were perfectly crisp for dipping. Everything I tried was pretty tasty and well-prepared. It's a solid choice for a quick, satisfying taco fix. However, I wouldn't go as far as to say anything was "fantastic." They were good, dependable, and I'd certainly return for another meal, but they didn't quite reach that "wow" level for me. If you're in the area and craving some casual, quality tacos, Fuzzy's is a reliable bet.

Bunch of broken chips. Broken just like my heart over the sub quality food

The only good thing about this place today was the service. We were looking for something quick that served margaritas. The margarita was terrible, like I couldn't drink it. Can you screw up queso? Yep, they did. Bland, like no seasoning my whatsoever: The prices have gone up and the quality has reached a new low. I should have read my own review.

We have come here quite a few times for some quick fish tacos and a beer or the impressive grilled shrimp salad . . . and a beer; what is really impressive about this location is the management. Yesterday we met the general manager working the register, greeting the customers and taking orders left and right. He took orders, poured beers, checked on the kitchen, and went around ensuring all the tables were picked up and clean. Not a COVID thing, either - he did this before. Our chips were stale - he intercepted me on my way to the kitchen window and asked if there was an issue. I told him there was, what it was, and he immediately set out to fix it. He went back in the kitchen and found me a fresh new batch of chips that h himself tried out for freshness. No rudeness, no rolling of the eyes - just what is the problem, and let me make it right. Damned impressive, especially nowadays. As for the beer - ice cold. Food - delicious. It is a Fuzzy's, it is a chain, but the service here sets it up a notch.

In search of a great taco shop and this was a miss. Ladies at the cash register are nice but the food is lacking flavor and volume. If you take an order to go, hot sauce is extra. I'm still in search of that great taco shop with great homemade salsa and hot sauce.

The food was fantastic, our whole table enjoyed our dinner and drinks. What really made it 5 stars: the workers. They were so incredibly patient and kind to my overtired child. She was exhausted and on the brink of a meltdown. One of the staff members went to the crane game and won a stuffed animal for my daughter. She brought it over and completely changed my kiddos mood. She spent the rest of the night holding it and taking pictures with it. This woman completely turned our dinner around. I didn't catch her name but she had colored hair and gauges. Absolutely fantastic service, some of the best I've ever had.

I've always loved Fuzzy's tacos and they have great taco specials. Their margaritas are the BEST!!! I would visit each and every Thursday to get my fix. There is nothing much to say about Fuzzy's, it's just a great spot to eat tacos and grab a margarita, literally !!!

Practically no queso. I feel like i paid $10 for soggy chips.

These dudes skimped me HARD on my nachos. Thankfully i ordered a side of queso. I paid extra for sour cream and refried beans, and they put less queso than sour cream. Not what i would call nachos. Not very much shredded chicken either. NACHOS SHOULD NEVER LOOK NAKED!!!

Because the weather was cooperative, the windows of the enclosed patio and the bar were opened. Diners were able to sit at the bar in the patio area. The bar was initially staffed by a single bartender. Not only did she introduce herself, she also asked for my name. As I needed a menu, she asked the host for a stack for myself and other diners. A second employee, not as friendly, arrived sometime later to assist setting up the bar. There were some minor inconveniences arriving this early. Because I was the first to require a refill, the bartender had to get a coffee pot from the kitchen. Afterwards, she kept the pot at the bar. I decided on the Breakfast Egg Rolls. Not sure how something tagged "new" can be a house specialty. The breakfast jam lacked flavor. The egg rolls were saved due to the taste of the fried wontons. Of the two sauces, the maple syrup was better than the spicy hollandaise. The hollandaise lacked both heat and spiciness. When I was served coffee, I was not provided either cream nor sweeteners. As I did not notice any nearby, rather than wait to have the her return to the kitchen, I decided to give it a sip. Surprisingly, the coffee tasted great. A few different table options and it looked like they had patio out back. Friendly staff. Quick service. Large portions but expect that with prices. Menu with lots of options. They even have specials - todays was huevos rancheros and poblano steak and eggs. We enjoyed Bacado omelet (3 egg, bacon, spinach, tomato, avocado) with hash browns and a biscuit. The salsa is good and medium spice level. The BLTAM was also enjoyed with a side of fruit (choice of side is fruit, fries, okra, soup or salad). We got without mayo and ordered a side of ranch which I'll typically put a little on sandwich. The ranch dressing was not good - couldn't eat it. Luckily the sandwich had enough moisture from the delicious tomatoes, avocado & bacon. The sourdough bread was good. We'd definitely go back to try more of their food.

I ordered the traditional breakfast with two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. Everything was okay, just not particularly memorable. The hash browns had no salt and weren't cooked all the way. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our meal. I want to be clear that she was not involved in what ultimately left us disappointed. The reason for the 2-star review was the ending to our visit. We had been seated for right at an hour when the hostess came to our table and asked if we could leave because there was a wait. We had already finished our meal and paid the check and were simply enjoying coffee while catching up with friends we hadn't seen in quite some time. We happily left and were gracious about the request. We understand there were several parties waiting, although from our table in the back corner we couldn't really see the crowd, and there had been plenty of open tables when we arrived. Even so, being asked to leave after only about an hour felt rushed and took away from what brunch is often about, relaxing and enjoying good company. I understand restaurants need to turn tables during busy times, but unless there's a posted seating limit, being asked to leave so soon wasn't something I've experienced before. It left us feeling like the focus had shifted from hospitality to table turnover. If you were to ask me about returning it would be a meh for me...food just ok and an inability to visit which is ultimately why we were there. With all of the brunch spots in the area, there are many others I'd recommend over this one. A little more flexibility, or simply allowing guests a bit more time to finish their coffee and conversation, would have made for a much more enjoyable experience and a slightly higher rating.
