    Grilled Steak Salad

I'm beyond frustrated with my experience at Fuzzy's Taco Shop. I ordered a salad with extra meat -- and not only did I not get the extra meat I paid for, but the salad looked poorly thrown together like no one cared. To make it worse, they completely forgot to include the taco in my to-go order. When I called to let them know, the manager had an attitude, insisting the taco "was in the bag." If it was in the bag, why would I be wasting my time calling the damn store? It's ridiculous to pay for food you don't receive and then get treated like you're lying about it. This location seriously needs to work on customer service and attention to detail. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Tried out the new Baja tacos. Deal was that you buy a Baja taco and you get an OG taco for a $1. The guy working the front didn't seem to know about the special, and we almost didn't get it. The new Baja tacos weren't bad, but not real good either. The OG tacos were better tasting, just not loaded with as much stuff. Some things don't need fixing. Just keep the OG and ya can't go wrong. Went for dinner on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Place was very clean too.

I came to the Fuzzy's Taco location on Rufe Snow for a family dinner. I usually visit the locations in Southlake or Fort Worth and have enjoyed them very much When I tried to order, they had no grilled vegetables available in the restaurant so there was no possibility of ordering a vegetarian meal. Very disappointing!! I ended up drinking a container of Muscle Milk that we had in the car. Not the best Saturday night meal. Edited- the server later came out and brought me a grilled veggie salad at no charge . I very much appreciate the effort made to make my customer experience better.

We come for breakfast once a month or so. It's a normal Fuzzy's. The food is reliably good and the staff efficient. The only real complaint here is there always seems to be something out of whack with the drinks. They're out of coffee or the tea has been sitting awhile and is tannic and bitter. Or they're out of ice etc. nothing major still a solid place where you know what to expect.

Super traditional diner food, done right. Nothing fancy, just solid, well cooked comfort food. The biggest standout was the speed. Our food came out in about ten minutes, and from the time we sat down to the time we paid and walked out, we were done in under forty five minutes. The service was excellent. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and clearly used to handling a busy crowd. The place was packed, which tells you everything you need to know. Despite how busy it was, we were taken great care of the entire time. My buddy ordered the chicken fried chicken and said it was delicious, with fantastic gravy and huge portions. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept, including the bathrooms, which always matters. This is not a fine dining spot, but it is a top notch diner that delivers exactly what it promises. If you are in Fort Worth and looking for a reliable breakfast or brunch spot, this is an easy recommendation.

Roots Café is a small, inviting spot in North Richland Hills that serves genuinely fresh food every day. And by fresh, I mean not pulled from a freezer and reheated--actually made fresh. I didn't get the chance to try the French toast that our server, Kate, highly recommended, but she still guided us toward options that matched exactly what my friend and I were looking for. The omelet was well seasoned and well prepared. I ordered pancakes as a substitute for the French toast, and they were excellent--impressive given that I normally don't enjoy pancakes due to their usual baking-soda taste. These were balanced, flavorful, and something I would order again without hesitation. The Roots Sandwich was also reported to be outstanding, with each bite hitting the mark. Overall, Roots Café exceeded expectations and is absolutely worth a return visit. By the way parking lot is free and has ample spacing. And inside is spacious seating of about 50-75 customers. .

I got the 2 egg combo with skirt steak. Pretty affordable at around $13. The skirt steak was tasty, the eggs were fresh, the fruit didnt taste like chemicals, and the potatoes were awesome. It came with toast or pancakes. I went with pancakes. They were decent. My family had the breakfast sandwich, patty melt, and biscuits and gravy. 2 thumbs up on the b&c they were pretty damn good and so was the patty melt. The breakfast sandwich was also good. It was like a breakfast croissant. I would definitely come back. I hope you come try it as well so they'll stay in business!

We got Turkey Bacon Melts that come on sourdough with fries. Bread was sturdy and sinfully buttery. I was pleasantly surprised with turkey breast (not deli meat). Bacon seemed like microwave bacon and cheese got lost. Fries were straight up frozen crinkle fries they didn't add seasoning to. I love dipping my fries in ranch but could not waste calories on this ranch - tasted like it came out of the big plastic tub from restaurant supply company. They have senior meals for really good price which is great! Lunch starts at 1030. This place leans more into the healthier eating and you can see the staff working right behind the open counter. Presentation for all of our food was good. We ordered Brussels sprouts to share. They felt a bit overcooked - more steamed and mushy vs. the stir-fried/air-fried Brussels that I enjoy. Didn't really have much flavor. Then I ordered the winter burger with potatoes. The burger was a decent size and the winter burger included a few apple slices on it. Sadly, the apple slices were the only things that gave this burger flavor since the burger patty itself lacked any seasoning. I enjoyed the baby potatoes but it, too, needed more salt. I ordered the olive oil cake to go for my husband. Again, good presentation but lacking in taste. It was closer to dry cornbread consistency rather than a moist cake (and I've made plenty of olive oil cakes before to know it can be moist!) Rating more for the service and ambience but would give it 2 stars for food. Overall, if I go back, I'll try something else like a salad or stick to the smoothies here.
