Fuzzy's manager Marybel and the cashier guy would not honor the military discount this morning, claiming that they don't do it for breakfast anymore. I've been coming to this Fuzzy's almost everyday since 2008, and have never heard of Fuzzy's not honoring the military discount in all of my nerely 6,500 meals at Fuzzy's. Seems like just another way Marybel has chosen to F over this locations best guests. I'm beyond frustrated with my experience at Fuzzy's Taco Shop. I ordered a salad with extra meat -- and not only did I not get the extra meat I paid for, but the salad looked poorly thrown together like no one cared. To make it worse, they completely forgot to include the taco in my to-go order. When I called to let them know, the manager had an attitude, insisting the taco "was in the bag." If it was in the bag, why would I be wasting my time calling the damn store? It's ridiculous to pay for food you don't receive and then get treated like you're lying about it. I tried calling three different times on my way to this location. The first two times it rang and rang and rang. The third time it was busy and then I called three more times and it was still busy. I finally walked in the front door with the phone, still giving a busy signal and looked on the wall where the phone is and it was off the hook on purpose. I made a comment to the girl who was taking my cash for a pick up order and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I still had to wait 10 more minutes for my food because I was not able to order it on the phone. I decided one last time right before I walked out the door to try calling again and it was still off the hook. If I was the owner, I would fire those employees. Tried out the new Baja tacos. Deal was that you buy a Baja taco and you get an OG taco for a $1. The guy working the front didn't seem to know about the special, and we almost didn't get it. The new Baja tacos weren't bad, but not real good either. The OG tacos were better tasting, just not loaded with as much stuff. Some things don't need fixing. Just keep the OG and ya can't go wrong. Last week we ordered shrimp tempura tacos... it literally looked like a salad in a tiny tortilla. Lay off the lettuce people! Wow what a strange shift in the vibe at y'all's location in North Richland hills. Sarah was so welcoming and friendly and y'all have brought in someone that literally doesn't even want to see your face. Me and my friend Willie we've been going in there for 3 years three four times a week he drinks patron. After asking the sweet girl taking the orders if they were going to get more patron she said that the new management decided they were not. You're talking about a customer that comes in almost every day. He is so sweet why would you not just order patron. This is the best Fuzzy's location. We love to come here, the employees are always friendly. They serve the food quickly. We love both the employees and the regular customers that come here. I came to the Fuzzy's Taco location on Rufe Snow for a family dinner. I usually visit the locations in Southlake or Fort Worth and have enjoyed them very much When I tried to order, they had no grilled vegetables available in the restaurant so there was no possibility of ordering a vegetarian meal. Very disappointing!! I ended up drinking a container of Muscle Milk that we had in the car. Not the best Saturday night meal. We come for breakfast once a month or so. It's a normal Fuzzy's. The food is reliably good and the staff efficient. The only real complaint here is there always seems to be something out of whack with the drinks. They're out of coffee or the tea has been sitting awhile and is tannic and bitter. With sour cream, pico, and a few shakes of Fuzzy's table sauce, It's creamy, flavorful, savory, tex-mex greatness. With a Left Hand Milk Stout in one of Fuzzy's perfectly chilled schooners, it's hard to do better! Service is typically quick and friendly. At this particular location, we arrived before closing and were helped by a friendly girl who had worked a double and had a derp while entering our order. She was endearlingly awkward about it, apologizing while she stared at the register as if she'd never seen it before. She super-attentive throughout the rest of the night. That realm of customer service is pretty unheard of especially in tough times of trying to build and create traffic for your restaurant. We'll, wished we would have passed, the shredded brisket burrito should have been renamed the rice burrito, the quesadilla order is easily 1/3 of the size pre Covid. On top of that our chips and queso order was short the chips as well as 2 extra orders of jalapeños. Then when my wife returned she was treated rudely by the lady at the counter (maybe she thinks people are scamming for free chips?) then she turned around screaming at the kitchen crew once she saw our receipt. My favorite is the spicy pork, then the shredded brisket. Today I'm trying the chicken fried chicken taco. It's a new special item on the menu for a limited time. I tried this new chicken taco. It has potatoes, fajita chicken and queso. It was okay, not my favorite. I usually avoid the fajita meat and ground beef. That's for uninformed gringos. I'm a landscaper gringo so I'm in the know! First time here. Quesadilla was exactly as expected and as ordered though the rest of my group seemed to have a lot of issues with their food. Had to send one taco back for their kid. This location is pretty good. There is not a lot of parking and their patio seating is very small. It was very busy when I came in on a Sunday afternoon but the staff (three in the kitchen and one on the register) got through the line and got out the food rather quickly.
