We ate a late lunch, and it was delicious. 3 teenagers were very satisfied and enjoyed the ambiance from the music. Our waiter was very friendly and made sure to keep our glasses full. Excellent service for sure!

The food is not authentic but it is really good Mexican food. I had the Chicken & Rice with queso which was really good. Also, it came with a tostada which was also really good. Service was great, I forgot his name. Restaurant was clean and it was not too noisy. Men's restroom was missing a soap dispenser and the other was empty :( We had a BOGO coupon which made it even better! We will be back!

My friend and I came here earlier in the summer. We were quickly greeted and seated at Mexican Inn Cafe. Our server was attentive throughout our time there. I ordered the chicken enchiladas which comes with three chicken enchiladas over sour cream sauce with a side of refried beans and Mexican rice. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. The atmosphere at Mexican Inn is warm and inviting. Our food came out hot and quickly. Mexican Inn is one of our favorite TexMex restaurants. They have great lunch specials 7 days a week, fresh homemade tortillas and chips. My favorite is fajitas, very tender and taste fire grilled, their enchiladas are delicious filled with a lot of meat and very saucy. My server fixed his hair with his hands then made my flour tortillas. After making my tortillas, he grabbed a giant bucket for dishes---all without washing his hands. Food came out looking terrible and I was so grossed out at that point, I couldn't eat it. Guy was running around sitting people making tortillas and serving----all without washing his hands. I read a LOT of reviews on this place prior to trying it. Looked at the History of the place on their website. Looked at how many review a lot of the people have given, than made a decision to try the place. I grew up eating Tacos and Enchiladas on a weekly basis. I think I am a pretty good judge when it comes to Mexican food. My wife ordered Tamales with Sauce on the side. She was very impressed with the food. I promise you that's a BIG Deal. LOL I ordered the create your own combo and decided to have just 2 enchiladas with the Chile Con Carne Sauce. It's been a LONG time since I've had such good enchiladas. But it shouldn't even be precooked weight. Everywhere else I order fajitas where they say "1 lb" I actually get 1 lb. So why Fresco's thinks it can get away with this utter nonsense - twice - and probably on a daily basis with other customers, is beyond me. I hate that Fresco's has such great food. They're happy to see us a make me us feel special, great service top to bottom. The place is different than other breakfast joints, since it has the Cajun atmosphere. The food has a Cajun influence. It's one of the few places that you can get fish & grits with your egg. The specialty drinks are really good but expensive. The parking is better than I've never had to wait too long to get in and get seated.. it's a really interesting & great place if you wanna take an out of towner out for breakfast.. Of course the big question is would I go back. it's been answered eight times..

Augustine was not only friendly and attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently answered all our questions and made some fantastic recommendations. It's evident that he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the diners' experience. Kathy, the manager, also played a pivotal role in ensuring our visit was memorable. She checked in on each table, ensuring everything was running smoothly, and even took a moment to chat with us, making us feel like valued guests. As for the food, it was outstanding. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was impeccable. The margaritas were top-notch too! I have been a long time fan of the Mexican Inn. The Lancaster and DT Fort Worth locations for years have been serving it up right and delicious. I was thrilled to see one come to Keller and couldn't wait to give it a try. I was highly disappointed. Their salsa tasted very tomato pasty and their service kept me from enjoying my dinner. Our waitress was on her cell phone constantly and never attentive to any of her tables. The table next to us told the managers that they to were frustrated with her and the manager just blew them off. I hope they work out some of the kinks and meet the reputation of the other locations. read more

The food we love. We had take for a small group of employees and they messed up the order. We had enchiladas and Tamales, extra chips and salsa. They didn't put the extra salsa in the order. I caught that before leaving. Once we put the food out it was missing the rice and beans that go with the enchiladas and tamales. Along with no queso. Then the corn tortillas looked really thick and were barely cooked. I have to say very disappointed with this order. I had to make a trip back to the restaurant for the rest. Check your order closely before leaving. Save your self a trip back. read more

Our server was amazing - so nice, friendly and helpful. He really took care of us. However, I was very disappointed in the food. It was not good quality at all - more like I was eating cheap fast food Mexican food. I will not go back because the food is definitely not worth the money or worth paying to be waited on. There are many other really good Mexican restaurants where the food is not cheap quality food. Sorry I have to post such a negative review. read more

Shout out to the staff at Mexican Inn tonight! This is the first time I've been at a restaurant that worked as a TEAM! Glass empty? Someone would help out our waiter and get us a refill. The BEST service I have ever had! Lorenzo delivered our ships and salsa and was the friendliest person I have ever met. Our waiter was on point, and also helped out other tables around us just as the waiters helped him out. Our drinks and chips were never empty. AWESOME! read more

Love love love my Mexican Inn! Grew up in FORT WORTH! The only Mexican food I ate as a kid! The chips and salsa are addictive! Some people don't get it, they don't think it's that good.....then they didn't grow up in Fort Worth! Since 1936 Mexican Inn has served my family and friends! Now I can walk to the new location in Keller and see the sign from my back patio! Thank you Keller! read more

This is short and to the point. Great servers, nasty, greasy, and sorta cooked food. I left, complained to the mgr. was offered food, I tip the server well, after all, not their fault. To the managers of eateries... If someone complains about the food, what makes you think they want more unacceptable food? read more
