    Under cooked steak.

Food was disgusting, old and cold. None of my food would have been at temp for health department. Steak was under cooked. Told my family to stop eating because I was afraid of them getting sick. Restaurant was dirty. We will never be back at this location.

Avoid this location. Between the portions, lack of cleanliness, and staff, there aren't many good things to say about this Freebirds. The staff: I came in at 4pm, and there were a grand total of 3 people including myself eating in. I walked in, made eye contact with the staff member, and she proceeded by continuing to text on her phone. Smh. As I approached the ordering area, she went into the kitchen area to socialize with the other staff. Then she made eye contact with me again, but had to get her convo in before she could get me situated with food. Not good- especially when the place is empty. The food: They literally serve portions for ants. I know my view of food is a bit disproportional being a bigger guy, but they hardly gave me any meat; if I were to weigh it out I'd be willing to bet good money that the meat portion was less than what they're supposed to give and honestly only enough to satisfy a small child. When I asked if I could have a bit more, she literally put 2-3 pieces of chicken on there. The rice was stale, the beans were dry, and the salad was incredibly soggy. 4pm or not, the food should not be so stale and old at this hour. Cleanliness: A health inspector would have a heyday here- dirty everywhere!! Tables were not kept up with, drink stations were sticky, and the condiment area was not clean either- who knows how old those to go condiments are. Avoid the hassle and find somewhere else to eat. As someone who has seen Keller grow quickly for the past 5+ years Ive talked to people who come to the alliance town center from all over- from south Fort Worth all the way to southern Oklahoma. If as a business owner this is what you want to display to people who come to this area, then shame on you.

They were stuffed with tender meat and were not excessively greasy. They come with onion and cilantro and three different salsas. Kind of embarrassed to say I ate it all but I couldn't help it. The place has interesting murals and Mexican music and clay plates which made it feel more authentic. Service was friendly although they gave my plate to the person next to me, they went back and brought me my food fairly quickly. The horchata was also very good.

It's easily our favorite place for anything birria. From the birria pizza to the tacos, everything is incredible. The dipping consomé is seriously to die for, and the meat is cooked to absolute perfection. The service is great, and the Chicano art painted throughout the restaurant gives the whole place such a cool, authentic vibe. We always share the combo because you get a little bit of everything, and trust me, it will definitely fill you up. Seriously, get it. This is our number one taco spot in DFW, and after your first visit, it might be yours too.

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

Servers provided a great experience aside from a bunch of flies (ate outside on the patio and were waving at flys most of the night). Three stars for the prices. We are an entirely vegetarian meal with no alcohol and paid $400 for a party of six...and we were sharing (yes, you read that correctly). $13 for a side of Mexican rice. $18 for essentially a side mashed potatoes. $16 for grilled vegetables. And the portions were SMALL. We were sharing across four adults and three kids and everyone only ended up getting a tiny amount. It was really difficult believing we were receiving any real value...it felt like the Don and figured out how to have unsuspecting guests pay double! It to say this isn't a legit high-end Mexican restaurant, it is. But I would more realistically describe it as a high-end steak house with wrap-around Mexican dishes (which explains why the side prices were so extreme). Kids quesadillas with steak were $17 a piece with no sides other than potato chips (a little odd given the context). Anyway, I'll end it where I began...food was good, servers were great...but just not worth the price. If the bill had been half or the portions were larger, it would have felt like we were actually getting value for our money.

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
