Well...... If you have a coupon DON'T use it if you want your order to be good/correct. I recently purchased a coupon book through a local high school. One of the coupons (buy one entree, get one free) was for the Roanoke location only..... If they don't want to take coupons then they shouldn't participate in the program. With that said..... We placed our order using the coupon (we also ordered additional food not covered by coupon) and the cashier didn't know the code to enter it and had to go back to the kitchen to get the managers card. When I got my food everything, and I do mean everything, was wrong. I ordered black beans and got refried, I ordered Mexican fried rice and got cilantro rice, I asked to cut all tomatoes and I got extra tomatoes. One mistake- fine, it happens. No big deal. Totally screwing up everything..... It's on purpose! When I looked at the receipt to see what it said.... Everything was exactly how I ordered it. The kitchen staff, manager, whoever she went and got the card to accept the coupon from, in my opinion purposely screwed it up. We eat at Fuzzy's all the time..... Not again at this one.... I came here with my girlfriend and ordered a cheese quesadilla and some chicken enchiladas and Chips & Queso. I received my food several minutes after her, only to bite into it and it be refrigerator cold. I asked the man at the food window what happened and he told me that they must've forgot to pop it in the oven. He proceeded to take out another enchilada, unwrap it, and place it in the microwave behind him. I got a full refund for my food and I have not been back and I never will. HORRIBLE food, Overpriced, and VERY disappointing. read more

I usually pick up a to go order from Fuzzy's to take to my Tuesday afternoon bible study. The food is great but I haven't always been thrilled with the service. The one thing I can count on is that my order will be wrong. Work on consistently getting the orders made right. On a positive note, I did get a chance to step out of my comfort zone and try something new that I did enjoy when they gave me an incorrect order. I don't mind if it takes a few more minutes because you have to check the order. I would prefer it be correct. read more

I love fuzzys! Food is very fresh soft taco shells are made to order. I had the bacon and egg taco, and the tempura shrimp taco. My wife had the crispy beef and shredded pork taco which she loved as well as a 16 oz shiner bock. GO to Fuzzy's! read more

This place can be a hit or miss. I have had several negative experiences at this place. I don't know if it's from the constant turnover of employees or that the kitchen staff has not been trained properly. Even went as far to send an email to the manager the last time. Decided to give it another chance and went back few weeks ago, and my order was completely wrong again. Go figure. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Went to dinner here last Wed. night (5/2/12) and the wait was literally 20 minutes but there were only 10 people in line ahead of me. One person at the register for most of that time. Employees need to be trained to keep the line moving. Everyone in the line was complaining about how long it was taking; we were all hungry. Food was good but definitely not worth the 35 minute total wait to get our food. I mentioned the wait to the guy at the register and he didn't apologize....just smiled and said, "really, the wait was that long....huh." Bad response. Owner should train their employees to keep a watchful eye on the line and ensure that folks are not waiting long. We literally stood in the same place for almost 10 minutes without the line even moving. It was weird?? This was only my second visit. On my first visit there wasn't anyone in front of me so we just ordered. I hope this was the exception and not the rule. UPDATE: Went back again tonight (5/5/12) and the service is still pretty slow. Seems as though this place is run by a bunch of college age kids. They need a manager presence in this restaurant to ensure that things run smoothly. There was a guy walking around asking how everyone's meal was but they should also be putting effort into getting folks orders taken quickly. It's a little too laid back at the register. UPDATE: (7/2/12) - we have been back to Fuzzy's 3 different times since my last update and have finally decided not to come back to this place. There is absolutely no consistency to their food and the establishment is run by young kids in their late teens/early 20's. The folks at the register are notoriously slow and they do not understand how to move the line along so that you are not waiting forever to order your food. Additionally, we didn't see a manager on the floor or in the restaurant on our last 3 visits. This place seems to be left to run itself by the young people that you see behind the registers and in the kitchen. The owners really need to get back into their restaurant and manage this place. The last 3 times that we have gone we have had burnt rice, dried out chicken tacos and undercooked potatoes. Just not worth the money or the wait to eat subpar food. read more

I definitely like the food, it's good stuff! However, I gave them an ok because both times that we have ordered it was for take-out and there has been something wrong. The first time the cashier did not place it to go so they had to box everything up and it looked like they shorted us on food. Then we also had food missing from our order. The second time the order didn't make it from the cashier to the kitchen so I had to wait a while until finally someone acknowledged that I was waiting for a to go order. After management acknowledged me they did have it ready in 3 minutes and apologized for the delay. I would suggest waiting a while to eat there till they can work out all the kinks. read more

New to Fuzzy's, I've been there twice. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is above average. What stands out to me the most are the small costs. You have to pay for salsa and sour cream. I could understand paying extra for guacamole or extra salsa, etc, but I can't stand being charged for basic items like that! If I ordered a salad, I would expect the dressing to be included in the price. I also don't like tip jars at the register. All they do is take your money and cook your food, the customer does the rest. read more

My family loves Fuzzy's.....we've been in the area for two years and just found out that there was a location in Roanoke which is closer to home. We've been going to the Denton location for a while which we love! I must admit that this location was not nearly as good as Denton. The food just didn't seem as fresh (such as wilted cilantro and salad). Slightly disappointed, but still love Fuzzy's! read more

Our first visit and last. Chicken quesadia's were the worst I ever had. Quacamole was the worst. Did not care for atmosphere. It was very loud and noise echoed. So we moved outside and parts of the patio was unlevel so tables and sloped. read more

I used to eat Fuzzy's a lot because their salads are my favorite but this visit I was eating my salad and something stabbed me in the gums. I thought it was maybe a hard chip but it turned out to be a plastic piece of something that looked like the end of a zip tie. When I called the store and talked to the manager he said "well I'm just trying to figure out how it got in there because we don't use those", which is understandable so I sent him a picture. He said that he would get with his DM and see what he could do for me but I never heard back. I don't care about getting free food or a refund but at least stick to your word. When you say you are going to get back to someone then do it. When you eat here make sure to check every bite before you eat so you don't do any damage. Luckily it didn't stab the socket where I just had a molar pulled or I would have been in some serious pain!!! read more

Probably won't be coming back to this location. The service is always crappy and it seems like they have a really high turnover rate as I rarely see the same people working here. We came in around 5 p.m. and the place was dead since it's a Sunday evening and there's a cowboys game on. We were expecting things to be fast because the restaurant was empty but that was not the case. After ordering it took about 15 minutes for our food, nachos and tacos, to come out. When it came out my boyfriend's tacos were on corn tortillas after he had asked the cashier for flour. He sent them back and we waited another 15 minutes for them to come out. The side of cilantro rice I ordered was undercooked and there was crunchy bits throughout. I also ordered a fuzzy driver which I normally love but this time it tasted like they had replaced the tequila with some kind of cleaner. Thankfully the girl was nice enough to switch it out for a regular margarita. We also noticed that the floor looked like it hadn't been swept all day long, there was crumbs and trash everywhere. We will be going to Southlake or Argyle from now on. read more

The cashier here (eustolia?) is slow. It always takes ages to come here, even when they aren't busy. Food is decent but chips and queso should come out before the main meal. This is the 3rd time, and likely last time, we will come here. Poor staff. Restaurant dirty. Yeah, fuzzys itself is great, this location does the brand a major dis-service. Hire competent people and clean this place up! Food was awful tonight. Son got fajita nachos and it tasted like someone bathed it in garlic, had practically no beef and the rice was undercooked. My cheese enchiladas were awful. Cheese was nasty, rice undercooked also. They should just fire everyone here and start over. read more

I sure hope this is just a bad shift of employees and not how the staff usually is.. the lady we ordered with basically yelled at my girlfriend and made her repeat herself 3 times bc she said "soft flour" taco. The employee then said, "it's either soft corn or flour, there's no such thing as soft flour tortilla." Our quesadillas were basically soup they were so runny with grease and juice from the pico. Let me say I've eaten plenty of times at half a dozen Fuzzy's and I've never seen this. Also, if you have a choice between going to a plaque ridden 3rd world country or using this Fuzzy location's restroom, chance the plague- at least the mens... Its the safer/more sanitized option. This was my first time at the Fuzzy's in Trophy Club/Roanoke (your choice). After a long day doing work at a rental house of my families I contemplated between all the fast food places in the Roanoke/Trophy Club area. For some reason (not surprising though) I was craving Mexican food and remembered Fuzzy's. Normally I am a drive through or delivery person or else I pass by it in my web browser. After a long day I have found the last thing I want to do is sit in a restaurant and wait for someone to assist. I went into this Fuzzy's with an open mind since I did happen to order and wait for my ToGo food. Immediately the Hostess/waitress was smiling and happy. I ordered my food along with a Margarita while I waited (yes it was that kind of day). The food was promptly ready and when I got home I was super psyched to kick back and finish out The Walking Dead with some yummy food. After going through the appetizer I opened what I thought I ordered which were nachos. SURPRISE it was actually a quesadilla. Although I ordered the nachos after thinking through it while I ate, a quesadilla was better for my exhaustion and laziness tonight. I know the order was wrong, but man if you even THINK about saying Taco Bell, Taco Bueno or Taco Casa are better I'll be damned.... You cannot ask for a more fresh and fast Mexican style restaurant in this area at this time! I will be going here more often now that I know what the atmosphere is like, and how the people are. read more

Unsatisfactory isn't a harsh enough review for Fuzzy's Roanoke. My family visited on a very busy afternoon and expected a wait. The cashier was short and not friendly. We waited 50 minutes for 4 tacos and kids meal. When we went to check on our order we were simply shown how many orders they had without a response. As we were leaving with another employee "tisked" me for not busing our own table. I don't need friendly service to enjoy a meal at a restaurant, but I do believe you should be kind and respectful in all circumstances. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed as I am a Roanoke resident and long time employee in the city as well. I will not be back and will certainly share my view with anyone who asks. read more

We've visited this Fuzzy's a few times. It's not the greatest Tex-Mex, but will do. I usually get the chicken fajita quesadilla and husband gets a beef burrito. This past weekend, we decided to get some take-out - what a mistake. I thought they had mistakenly given us two burritos, because they stacked my quesadilla and then wrapped it all up in paper. The result was a mushy, greasy mess. It was absolutely disgusting. I have no idea why they would decide that this is the way to package quesadillas. Every place else puts them flat - either in a styrofoam to-go container or a pizza box. Never again! read more

First the good. The gentleman who took my order was very nice, personable and quick. The borracho beans were good. That was it for the good. I ordered take out. First of all, they no longer have crawfish on the menu. Very sad. I ordered my mother a shrimp burrito with the garlic sauce on the side and the tortilla soup. I ordered dinner combo. As one side I picked the rice. When I got the food home it was a mess. Half the soup had spilled over everything else and soaked through the bag it was packed in making a huge mess and coating everything. I don't think I have ever been to a place that puts soup in styrofoam containers then doesn't wrap it in Saran Wrap or something to prevent spilling. The rice had been dumped on top of the enchilada and was now glued to the enchilada and sauce, completely ruining both. I think they both would have been fine separately, but together not so much. While we got a ton of hot sauce we didn't want, we didn't get the garlic sauce for the burrito. Definitely won't be back for take out, and frankly, there are better Mexican restaurants in the area for eat in. Added - mom just told me her large burrito had exactly 2 shrimp in it. read more
