I stopped here for a quick dinner this evening. It's was pretty empty, but clean and the gentleman working the counter was very nice. I choose 2 of their new tacos the California Heat and the Margarita, both with tempera shrimp. The tacos were made quickly and were good portions. I enjoyed them both. The soda station was a bit run down and my root beer was almost pure syrup which was a bit gross.

Cheap and decent tacos. Chips and queso were also tasty! The California heat taco was my favorite-- I had this on corn tortilla with shrimp tempura

Stopped here after going to a race at Texas Motor Speedway. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I ordered veggie tacos without shredded cheese or feta since I am allergic to lactose. First order came with shredded cheese. Second order only came with shredded lettuce in the shell and two pieces of diced tomatoes and 4 black beans, missing the grilled veggies completely. Third order came correctly after 23 minutes. The guy at the register was the one that eventually made our orders and he was nice.

Pretty sparse if you ask me...especially for $6.49. The nachos used to cover the WHOLE plate with chips cascading into the tray!

We used to love coming here...with that being said. I was talking to the manager and apparently Fuzzy's has been bought out!!! Nooooooo!!! This means the prices go up and portions go down. Their menu has def changed. So now to the portion sizes.. Maybe it was a fluke that day. I shall definitely go back and try it again but I'm very skeptical. Why can't the new owners just keep Fuzzy's like it was??

I can only speak to our experience sitting at the bar since we were not seated in the dining room…read more We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and were able to grab two seats at the bar without any problem. The service was very good, although it was clear the bartender was extremely busy handling both the bar area and the outdoor seating. They could definitely benefit from a second bartender, as drink service was a little slow at times. That being said, the drinks were absolutely worth the wait. I had the Blueberry Habanero Margarita, which was tart, refreshing, and delicious. My husband started with a frozen margarita that he really enjoyed and later switched to a draft Modelo. For food, he ordered the pozole and I had the jumbo shrimp fajitas. Everything was exceptional. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, the dishes were well prepared, and the portions were generous enough that we left completely satisfied. What really excites us about this place is that it feels much more traditional Mexican than Tex Mex, which is much harder to find in this area. The food, drinks, and atmosphere all made a great impression on us, and we are so glad we discovered this spot. We will definitely be back!

In town for work. The hotel is near by and I wanted Tex-Mex…read more Waiter Sebastian was very patient and accommodating with my blood sugar needs. I had a light beer and the fajitas parrillada (half order), which comes with shrimp, chicken, and beef, plus guac, sour cream, pico de gallo, rice, and beans. I skipped the rice but had the rest, and everything was good. When the fajitas arrived, I was like, "OMG, that's WAY too much food, even for a half order!" But then I realized about 70% of it was a bed of veggies (onions, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms... a little confusing for fajitas hahaha) and the rest was the protein. The beef and chicken were not dry and had good flavor. I only got TWO shrimp though... wth?! But they were well seasoned and good. I couldn't have the totopos (chips) because I'm watching my blood sugar, but they let me have my own protein chips. I also tried the house salsa. It was blended (not chunky) and kind of spicy for my non-spicy-tolerant taste buds , but I liked it! Music was a mix or reggaeton and Latino Urbano from the 90's-2000s and made me smile hehe. In summary, it was good food and good service. Sebastian was great!

Great Tex-Mex restaurant, but not if you're vegetarian…read more Our server, Cristian, was great! He let me know about the menu and came back to check on us throughout the meal. The queso, all of the enchilada sauces except ranchero, black beans, and rice contained meat, which was disappointing. For those of you who are vegetarian, this place is not a great option. The chips are good, and the salsa is on the runnier side but still packed with flavor. Prices are reasonable. I hope one day they create a vegetarian menu and become more accommodating.

Unfortunately, I never made it far enough into the experience to actually order any. When I arrived, I was told there weren't any high-top tables available in the bar. I could see an empty one, so I politely asked about it. I was told the server "wouldn't be able to get to it." Okay then. I didn't push the issue and agreed to sit in the dining room. At that point, I didn't even dare ask about a booth. The hostess was giving less "welcome to Chuy's" and more "you're not on the list" nightclub-bouncer energy. I was seated at a table and waited three or four minutes without being greeted. No "hello," no "I'll be right with you," no acknowledgment at all. A manager even walked past me. Nothing. The server I assumed was assigned to my table was taking an order nearby, which is completely understandable. I wasn't expecting him to abandon another guest mid-order. But a quick "Hey, I'll be with you in just a minute" would have taken about five seconds and made all the difference. Instead, I sat there apparently participating in Chuy's new invisible-customer program. Eventually, I decided my time was worth more than waiting to find out whether anyone planned to acknowledge my existence, so I left. On the way out, I told the hostess that no one had greeted me and that I was leaving. I also asked for a business card for the manager or general manager. She seemed flustered by the request and didn't know where the cards were -- or whether they even had any. I was told I would need to call later and ask for him. What surprised me most was that there was absolutely no attempt to recover the situation. No "I'm sorry." No "Let me grab the manager." No "Can we get you seated with someone right now?" No effort whatsoever to keep a customer who was literally standing there explaining why he was leaving. Instead, I got a smile and a "have a great day," which came across less as sincere hospitality and more like the customer-service equivalent of "thoughts and prayers." Restaurants get busy. Servers get overwhelmed. I completely understand that. What I don't understand is an entire front-of-house experience where nobody seems particularly interested in whether a guest stays or leaves. I came in ready to spend money on Mexican food and an irresponsible amount of queso. Somehow Chuy's managed to lose the sale before I could even order a drink. That's honestly impressive.
