Evidently this location is under new ownership or something to that affect. I have been going there for 6 months or more and today was not good. 4 things have noticeably changed. 1) They have done away with Taco Tuesday! This was my favorite time to go. 2) They also did away with the Lil' Salad. The regular salad is too much and I do not enjoy wasting food. 3) The queso was cold. Not room temperature cold, but cold. 4) They now take your name instead of using a number. I do not care for fast food places that do this. They may be trying to make your order feel personal, but it is difficult to judge when your order will be ready, unless you are behind a group of friends. I have to be REALLY annoyed to write a review. So congrats to Fuzzy's for managing to annoy me enough to bother. I ordered a kids nachos, queso and chips, and a taco dinner to go. As you can see from the pic, the kids nachos were ridiculous. Barely any cheese and they couldn't even be bothered to melt it. We live 8min from Fuzzy's and the food was barely warm when we got to our house. The tacos were so so at best. Queso was decent once I reheated so it was actually warm. Cinnamon churros were also included, too bad they tasted like used deep fat fry oil. I won't bother ever trying this place again. read more

This location Never answers the phone, they leave the phone off the hook so they don't get calls. Any Togo order we get always has SOMETHING missing. But we love the tacos, dine in orders are spot on. read more

Like some others have said, I've always been pretty loyal to Fuzzy's since I first had it in Lubbock, TX, but this was my least favorite location I've ever been to. The customer service here was lacking. We may have come at a bad time, since it was early-ish Saturday afternoon, but the atmosphere just felt pretty uncomfortable and all I wanted to do was eat and get out as quickly as possible. The girl at the bar and the girl at the front register were both pretty disinterested in taking our orders, and weren't even at their spots the entire time. One family came in to order and had to wait until the front register girl she came back from talking with the girl at the bar. Unless they were working on something for work, it seemed pretty unprofessional to just be hanging out while on the clock and making customers wait for you to finish socializing. The food was okay, not blown away by anything. Queso was good, as usual, but I guess it was all overshadowed by the general experience here. If it's nearby, I'd say give it a try and see if our stop in was an off-day! Usually the Fuzzy's locations I have been to feel really vibrant and ready for a party, I just felt sad and awkward here scarfing down a burrito so we could get the heck out. read more

I ordered ground beef burrito to go.. No mention of rice and beans in the burrito on the menu. That was a wasted $6.29!! Apparently their menu isn't remotely accurate and they just feel like including whatever ingredients they want. We ate there for lunch last Tuesday and it was a complete joke. First, what fuzzys doesn't do taco Tuesdays? But even worse , we ordered our lunch and it took over an HOUR for our order to be ready. I visited this location with some co-workers and it was passable. I was never a fan of the food at Fuzzy's near the TCU campus and that carries over to this location. It was very busy during lunch but the line moved pretty quickly. I had a chicken fajita salad and shared some chips/queso with my party. Nothing was great but not bad either. Just an astounding "meh." I don't think I'll ever flat out choose to eat at Fuzzy's but I'll go if that's what everyone else wants. It's just one of those places. read more

I was beyond disappointed last night when we went. It was my first time at this location and I won't ever go back. Fuzzy's is never my first choice but we wanted something quick and easy with my 2 year old. We ordered the queso and chips and I had a shrimp salad. My shrimp was chewy and cold and probably cooked hours before. The queso was cold also so my husband went back to the window to see if they would heat it up and they just took it from him and poured a new one which was the same temp. We ended up leaving and not even eating our food and headed to another restaurant. Sadly the worst $21 ever spent and not going to go back which stinks because it is usually a great place to eat with our toddler. read more

Yum! Surprisingly their salad is great. Don't eat tortilla soup though. Love their chicken and cheese. Great atmosphere.

We've eaten here several times now and will definitely come back. Dine in only. Don't take out. Tacos are fresh, yummy and tasty. Tried salad and its ok. Tempura fish tacos is our favorite. Tried take out twice. Both horrible. Only live minutes away and food always cold and mushy and some reason don't get the same flavors dining in. Great prices and atmosphere. I was trying to go next door to the salad bowl -- but unfortunately they were closed. So stumbled in here. Food might have been decent, however. Fuzzy's fails the basic test of upcharging for items which are traditionally free. I ordered a beef fajita salad with avacado ranch, and my girlfriend a beef fajita nachos. Went up to the counter at request of my girlfriend to get some some salsa for her nachos (if it were taco cabana, pollo tropical, etc. -- i might just go to the salsa bar). When I went up there I was told -- that'd be extra. What? Nachos without salsa?????? A little disappointed I went back to my booth and proceeded to eat my salad -- which was very generously sized. -- a big bowl with a moderate amount of meat. However, given the large salad --- I quickly found myself in a predicament as the small cup of ranch they provided me was insufficient for the salad. I went up to the counter, confident in my request --- Sir that will be extra. What? No human being could have eaten that salad without 3x the ranch that was provided. I don't have a proper accounting of what they upsell for, however, I'd imagine most anything besides hotsauce. These requests are necessities and a cost of doing business. You can't provide nachos without salsa then upsell afterwards or a small cup of ranch with salad and then upsell afterwards. read more

This location gets 5 "Eat Me" stars. Their patio area is nicer and more inviting than most Fuzzys locations. However it's the seasoning of their protein that gets high marks. The "grilled" chicken here actually TASTES like grilled chicken, not just like "cooked" chicken. You don't have to kick it with hot sauce. Yummy from one savory bite to the next. read more

Love love love!! We go just about every week to get our fix. Love the queso, nachos and salad best. Beer ritas are great! This is our go-to place for a quick meal. They are always very friendly and you can't beat the prices the the amount of food you are given. There is also an app for your phone where you take a picture of the receipt and get points...basically every 25 points (dollars) there is an option to get a free taco! Popped into this location late one night while on a business trip. I usually go tot he location near TCU. This location was pretty dead. Tacos tasted about the same. Ordered some chips and salsa, not very warm. This is an important item to get right if you're serving TexMex. They need to re-tool. All in all, cheap TexMex eats. I prefer Fuzzy's for breakfast tacos. Pretty good stuff. read more

Have not been to this location in a while. Register staff was great, but the cook staff were not and 1/3rd of the tables were marked as broken and the margarita machine was broken. We Ordered for 2 adults and two toddlers, half the kids food was missing, two tacos were other then what was ordered, missing solid dressing, and another taco was missing. No one else in line at the time, no other orders being worked on, so it was not a mix up with someone else's order and the receipt had everything correct so it got to the cooks correct. When we pointed it out they looked at the order and provided what was missing but did not apologize, just looked annoyed and avoided eye contact. That all said, the lady's at the front were great, including making an on the rocks margarita and checking up on us in case the kids needed anything even before the food order issues came up. Also, the food we did get was great. The Baja shrimp taco is still a favorite and the solid was great once we got the dressing. read more

I was looking forward to eating at Fuzzy's all day long. Some friends from work had introduced me, so I was excited about taking my boys. Long story short, their service was atrocious. The capper to my several attempts to eat there tonight is that I finally called in to see if wouldn't take so long and the young man, Christian, left me on hold for over 15 minutes. I walked in and he was apologetic, but didn't offer to do anything for the incredible inconvenience he had put me through. I was ready to be a raving fan... but I will never go there again. This place isn't ready for primetime. They couldn't get it together when the place was empty. When they got a few customers it fell completely apart. read more
