I've always enjoyed going here since it first opened. Always has a table open, but still has a great amount of patrons. The staff is always nice and helpful. Good environment in general. The food is constantly good. I enjoy their queso a lot. While I love the normal tacos, my favorite is their breakfast tacos. SO yummy! read more

So very rarely do I rate something this poorly. I will start with the fact that I had a coupon for free order of queso I redeemed it and asked for them to add ground beef which was like 50 cents more on the menu. They charged me $5.00 for the ground beef. So much for the free queso. Then there are signs everywhere saying happy hour M-F u til 6pm $1 off margaritas. I ordered 4 margaritas and not one of them were discounted. The service for the food took forever. There is no place at the trash cans to place silverware or trays. Really disappointed. read more

Fuzzy's does an impeccable job of making you feel unwelcome. Located in Pinnacle Hills, surrounded by endless options of well run, consistent establishments we made the choice to give Fuzzy's a try. What a mistake, indeed. Fuzzy's has a unique concept, which to someone who is dining in for the first time justifiably is quite confusing. A normal restaurant would ask if it was your first time dining with them, or maybe even simply ask if you have any questions. Nope, not here. From dismissive staff, to argumentative bartenders (i.e. some guy named John), we were met with nothing but annoyance for simply trying to order. Stopped in here a few weeks back and ordered some appetizers. The queso n chips were really good. It actually was enough to fill me up. I can't wait to come back to try there tacos and to have a signature margarita they have. It's a really kool place that has a full bar and lots of beers on tap. Ok so we decided to give this place a try on the way home and man we weren't disappointed... well the queso was a bit runny but that's not why we came. So I got the fajita chicken burrito with cilantro rice and retried beans and man was it good. I wish it woulda had a bit more chicken but I probably wouldn't have been able to finish it then and it was a decent size with everything in it... I'd def order it again. The wifey got a taco and cheese enchilada with beans and potatoes and she didn't stop or leaving anything behind. The potatoes weren't too shabby if I can say so myself. The kiddo got just a plain cheese quesadilla and said it was good but he's not a big foodie... Lastly the location and interior are pretty nice. This place has been here for years yet this was my first time. Our plans were inadvertently changed and I'm glad they were so that we could check this place out. I felt the atmosphere was perfect. We sat at bar and met a great bartender and some other patrons. The Fuzzymosa was great and the other regular mimosa was what you need in one of those!! We tried salsa and the Drunkin pig dip. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Front counter help was untrained. Pricing on beer signs were not honored on receipt. Pork is apparently the same as beef. Terrible experience! We met friends for hangover tacos and it didn't disappoint. Very big portions. There is something for everyone. My appetite was small but what I was able to eat was very good. And everyone in my part was very pleased with their food. My boyfriend got a blood Mary and he said it was great and would order again. We definitely want go back for Happy Hour. Solid food in a fun and informal fast casual restaurant. I like this place as a quick "go-to" Mexican meal when you don't have time for a longer sit down meal. Plus I thought it was very reasonably priced whether ordering a combo meal, salad or individual taco selections. I chose the fajita chicken burrito bowl and a single specialty ground beef taco. Both were good and plenty for a meal. The bowl had grilled tender chicken chunks, and served over rice and black beans along with some shredded lettuce, tomato and cheese sauce. The beef taco was not spicy but flavorful in a soft taco shell with lettuce tomato and cheese. I asked for a little extra salsa and sour cream to add for flavoring to taste. Our group did order a chicken nachos starter, and it was a good size portion to share for an appetizer. The chicken was shredded, and had a white cheese sauce over the nachos. I think after having the beef, next time I'd order nachos with ground beef. Also liked that they offered happy hour beverages most of the day until 7pm. Husband and I stopped and had lunch. Walk in up to cashier to order off the menu. Cashier seemed very confused or maybe new in training. I wasn't sure she was awake. One other couple in the place besides us. I had the fried avocado taco plate and hubby had a ginormous burrito. We also choose 2 sides each . Both of us had the margarita for our drink of choice, it seemed pretty watered down, not like what we expected for $8 each. No direction of signs as where to put our tray or plates and glasses, so manager just told us, just put them here in the garbage can. Fuzzy's is a great chain with a comfy atmosphere. Tacos are small but the price is reflective of the size unlike other places. I really enjoy the breakfast tacos and love that you can get them all day. They have great happy hour specials as well. Listen, my family I enjoy Fuzzy's. We've never dined in so I'm not sure what the atmosphere is like, but the food has never not been good. The attention to detail is what's lacking, in my opinion. The last two times I've been there, I've gotten home with an incorrect order. There's no reason to mess up a simple order like mine. For example, my most recent visit, I ordered 2 grilled shrimp tacos with flour tortilla shells for my wife and 3 shredded chicken tacos with flour tortilla shells for myself. I got home with the order reversed. Now it doesn't seem like that big of a deal because I like shrimp, so I ate it with no problem. But if I order chicken, that's what I want. It would've been very dangerous if they did that and served it to someone who may be allergic. I'm sure that's not what they want. I'll continue to patronize the restaurant. I'll just pay attention and check my order before I leave. I suggest you do the same and I would hope they pay better attention to what they're doing and provide customers the food they ordered. read more

Went to Fuzzy's for breakfast on Sunday morning. We were the first customers of the day. My wife ordered the 2 breakfast taco plate with rice and refried beans as a side. I had the chicken Chilaquiles. After 30 minutes (we were the first people to order anything) we got our food and I noticed the rice was ice cold and the beans were barely warm. I went to the person in charge and asked for 2 sides of hot rice to replace ours. That took about 5 minutes of heating the rice in a microwave. By the time I got back to the table the rest of my food was cold. My wife said while her rice and beans were cold but the Tacos were good and she would eat them. I asked them to just bring me 2 breakfast tacos to replace my cold food. They brought me a refund for my Chilaquiles but no refund for the tax, oh well. Anyway we waited another 20 minutes, no tacos, my wife was done, we were full of coffee so we just left. A wasted hour and did not get anything eat after all. One other thing I just noticed; on their website the Chicken Chilaquiles are $6.29 and they charged me $6.99 so I guess you also need to watch your check for errors too! read more

The tacos were good- I opted for soft flour tortillas (you can get crunchy or soft corn tortillas). The California heat came with bacon, Sriracha, avocado, shrimp, pico & feta). I do not recommend. Lazy staff & BAD management, there was staff playing pool; The place was basically empty, not busy. We ordered our food; We received our 3 plates of food, and the potatoes on all 3 plates were COLD, shriveled up, look like the potatoes had sat under a warmer for hours, the rice cold no flavor & taco's served with wilted lettuce & meat was cold as well. We mentioned it to the manager and all she offered was to make fresh potatoes & she comes back with only 1 serving of potatoes. Went during lunch and it was busy, didn't have to wait in line to order but did have to wait in line at the kitchen to pick up my chips and queso and guac. You get a buzzer when your food is ready but also a ticket for any "starter apps". It wasn't the most pleasant experience standing in line as workers are milling in and out of the area just to wait on queso to be dipped in a cup and a basket of chips. Not a fan of this set up at all. Just give me a number for my table and deliver it. The place had plenty of seating, even a covered patio outside that would be nice on good weather days. They had a full bar along with plenty of choices on tap. The queso was good and the guac really good. I love a good guac with chunks of fresh avocado in it. You know its fresh and it tastes good. I have a shredded chicken soft taco and a spicy pork soft taco. A bit on the small side and mine tortilla busted on each one as I ate them. The chicken was bland. My husband wanted to know where the salsa was but that is on the starter menu for another $4. No thanks. There was a Fuzzy's hot sauce on the table he used. I did not. The spicy pork was much better in flavor. Again small and not much meat but for two tacos and chip and dip, I was full. I saw no reason to make my meal a taco plate with two sides as sides are rice, beans or some sort of fried potato. Filler I guess but you are going to pay a couple bucks more for it. Buy a large "souvenir" cup and bring back over and over for 99 cent refills. But if you are like me, you will end up buying on every time and have a nice collection of Fuzzy's cups for your next dinner party. They have Coke products-huge plus as do Pepsi, I don't. All in all it was a good lunch. First and last time I plan on visiting this place. For a taco place I sure felt like I didn't belong. Being Hispanic I got looks from everyone like I made a wrong turn. My son really wanted to try this place so I stayed. The cashier seem irritated that it was my first time and was taking up her time explaining what type of rice they had. Btw no red rice lol. She hurried me thru didn't explain where to get my food or where to return my pager. Found out you had to go to the cook station to grab your food. A tip jar for the cooks was there, wish I would have known prior to giving the tip up front. The food was ok but not good enough to return or pay what the are charging. Not sure what the tip was for you have to clean your area and plates that are not picked up are cleaned up just left so the flies can have a get together I guess. Overall hate giving a bad review for local shops but in between my discomfort and not aching stomach I had to. Tacos 4 life is across the street do yourself a favor and go there. read more

Fuzzys has great food, but just tired of standing in line to order. Line is about 10 customers in line, with only one Cashier. Just watched Cashier rub her nose with both thumbs then get a draft beer. I really don't want or need the flu from a Cashier getting me a beer. Staff needs more training.
