Love their taco plate and chips and salsa. Stephenville and Granbury stores do not allow the purchase of two beers at the same time. For years I have purchased two beers when I place my order so I don't have to charge a single beer to my card later when I am ready for my second beer. Only two places that I have found in the state of Texas that will not let me purchase two beers at the same time. I have one now and one later when I eat. Have been licensed in the state to sell alcohol and have worked in liquor/beer/wine sales. Have found no city, county, state law that prohibits the purchase of two beers at one time. So I don't go to Fuzzy's in Stephenville or Granbury, Texas. Other places to eat and drink. read more

I'm going to say this is one of my favorite places to eat here in Stephenville. I agree with a few other reviews here that say the quality is somewhat inconsistent, but a college town is going to be inconsistent, because staff comes and goes with the semester. Sometimes when I order the chips and guac, I get a wonderful heap of guac. Other times I get the last bit of room-temperature guac with a handful of shredded lettuce underneath to make the cup look more full. Apart from that, I've been generally pleased by the food. The fajita chicken salad is wonderful. I love the shrimp soft tacos, and it's always nice to see a fresh batch of tea being made. Portion size for price is really a good deal. For a while my go-to for this kind of food was Mi Familia, and it didn't matter that they were on the more expensive side. They cut the portion but not the cost right about the same time Fuzzy's came to town, and I have not been back to the other place since. Fuzzy's wins! I seriously enjoy the simplicity of the menu, because you go to Fuzzy's for a particular flavor that you crave. If you're craving Fuzzy's, there's nowhere else in town that will satisfy (unless you want to carry a bag of feta cheese and cilantro when you go out). I hate to write this but gross. Gnarly long black hair in my shrimp salad. When I went back to the kitchen window to point it out I had to stand there for awhile to get the cooks attention. Fuzzy's is pretty good but I have to crave something specific from here for me to come in. I usually get their pork nachos, they're so good! I hate their parking lot though. It's horrible and cars get hit all the time (that's what I've heard). Overall they're a pretty good restaurant and their drinks are pretty tasty! read more

I am typically a huge fan of Fuzzy's but this taco shop location was not good at all. All of our food was cold. I've never had cold tacos from Fuzzy's before. I had to send it back and have them reheat it. There was so much cilantro on the taco it ruined the flavor of the overall experience of the taco. The fajita chicken pieces were so big I'd have to bite the chicken in half just to eat it right. Other Fuzzy's in Denton and Fort Worth have been excellent. Hot food, small bite size meat, and seasoned correctly....all of which this location does not have. I was so excited to share my Fuzzy's experience with my mom and son, both have told me they would never return. I was supposed to share with a friend next weekend but I can assure you I am so freaked out that it will also be bad, I will pass on the Fuzzy's for a long time now. read more

Never been to a Fuzzy's before deciding to try this one in Stephenville. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good for the most part. Our order wasn't quite right at first, but they corrected the issues and everyone was satisfied. Will give it another try in the future. read more

Food was good i had enchilada plate. The enchiladas could have been a little hotter. There were a lot of college kids there it was Friday night in a college town so that was expected. I was kind of enjoying my food until I saw the cob webs all over window and around fixtures by booth we were in. Than it really didn't help my dining experience that there was a grasshopper and wasp in the window area next to me. If its this dirty in the seating area it scares me to think what the kitchen area is like :/ read more

My family and I visited the Fuzzy's in Stephenville on May 15, 2018. It was an absolute disaster. The employees were so rude, especially the lady at the front desk taking our order. The restaurant was packed, and they had a full room of empty seating blocked off. The staff would not let anyone use that room, so we had to sit at a table with people that we did not even know. It was absolutely ridiculous. Then to top it off, right after we paid for our meal they decide to turn off the soda machine. How do you turn off the soda machine when the restaurant is full, don't they think those people might want to drink the drinks that they paid for? Good food, good prices, good beer selection. A lot of flies on the porch- would sit inside.

The prices are expensive if you plan on paying for 2 people and their drinks. I easily spend about $60 every time I go there. The food is delicious, I have never had any issues with it. The only problem I have had is with the service. Some of the people that work there seem to be extremely dim-witted. Once I ordered a Taco Plate and got an Enchilada Plate instead. Another time, I ordered $55 worth of food and drinks, and when the cashier swiped my card she said it didnt go through. I had to repeat my order while she punched it in again and re-swiped my card. After I got my food, they called my name out again and said my order was ready. I spoke to a manager saying that I had already gotten my food and asked if my card was charged twice. He checked and said no, and that it was the machine's mistake. The next morning, however, I checked my billing statement and I was, in fact, charged twice for that order. After many calls later, I was eventually refunded for one of those orders. At least the food is good, otherwise I wouldnt go as often as I do. read more

Not happy with our order, and we wouldnt dare send it back cuz it'll come back with spit in it....thats just disgusting....we ordered nachos with beans, meat and regular queso and thats not what we got. They gave us feta cheese under our queso, yuck....and our chips on the bottom were soggy from being put on a wet plate (I know this cuz NONE of our queao ever made it to the bottom....thats just ridiculous....we didnt even finish our food....our first 2 trips there were great, now its just gone to shit. Fuzzys has been one of my worst experiences as far as restaurants go. The staff are friendly but thats about it..the first time i went my husband and i ordered food and our buzzer never rang so after about 20-25 minutes we took our receipt to the front and our food was sitting there...they just never buzzed us. So needless to say the food was cold and gross. Then the second time we went they messed our order up and for the money you spend there, you really dont get much. And its not even good! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Its really not worth your money. I can go to chili's and get an entree and a drink for what i spent here. Dont waste your time! read more

A few months after opening, this one is still not at the level of the other Fuzzy's locations. Most of he main dishes are OK ( they're finally getting the brisket cooked right), but breakfast is still sub-par. They also still haven't figured out the importance of really ice-cold schooners, and the booths appear to be of incredibly cheap workmanship. read more

we love FUZZY'S but this location is a down fall...the food was not good..the beer-ritas which we love was not of quality like the other FUZZY'S we have been too! The atmosphere wasnt like any other either..staff didnt speak, wasnt into the whole FUZZY'S perception...the staff could have cared less if they had buisness or not..I definitly wont be back this one, and I have also spread the word to friends about Stephenville's FUZZY'S TACO is not a place to go.... read more

Never really had great food here. Always pretty bland. The one in Denton is MUCH better. I think the best part about this place is their happy hour! Those margaritas are awesome, and they don't skimp out on the serving size, they serve them in schooner glasses. Great place to go for an after work drink! read more

Food is not top-notch, but okay for the price. Between fast-food and quality restaurant. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about when it comes to servers opening a tab at your table. This has happened about 2 out of the last 40 times I've been there. Normally the "servers" ignore your table, and you basically get no service unless you go ask for it. Half the time your order number is not called, so your food sits at the counter while you wait and wait for them to call your order, finally go up there and check and by then the food is cold. Overall poor service and food not worth the money, but the beer and beer selection is good, plus I live about a block from there, so that's why I go so often. read more
