This was my first and last time at this auto body shop. They got the job done. However, it was nothing exceptional--definitely not a place I'd go out of my way to recommend to friends or family. Unfortunately, my experience with David was disappointing. If he gets assigned to you, I'd suggest asking for someone else. From the start, his attitude was off--he was rude, inattentive, and seemed completely uninterested in ensuring customer satisfaction. When I went to pick up my car, I wanted to inspect it before making the payment--because why would anyone pay for something with their hard-earned money if they're not satisfied? I immediately noticed that the right side of the center console panel was misaligned compared to the left. When I pointed it out, David brushed it off, saying, "You know your car better than I do." That wasn't the point--it was clearly and visibly uneven. Instead of addressing the issue, he continued making excuses, mentioning that the console is held by clips. Why was he telling me this instead of just fixing it? It was clear he was getting annoyed, and when he finally offered to take the car back to adjust it, he made it seem like waiting was an inconvenience--what other choice did I have? Another frustrating part of the experience was the lack of communication. I had called on Monday for an update, and David told me they were waiting on two more parts and that my car should be ready by Wednesday. He specifically said he'd follow up with me that day. Wednesday came and went--no call, no text. While I wasn't in a rush, it's frustrating to be told one thing and then experience something completely different. When I brought it up, his response was, "We only do updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays." That's not what he said in his text, so where's the professionalism? After the second inspection, the console was noticeably better than before but still not perfectly even. As I tried to express my concerns, David--clearly disengaged--said, "Huh? What? Sorry, I wasn't listening." That pretty much summed up his attitude the entire time--he simply didn't care! On a positive note, Tim, the manager, and the reception staff were kind and helped make the experience slightly better. However, based on my encounter with David, I wouldn't return.

After photo. Looks like new. Paint match is perfect. Nicely done G&C. Thanks!

I'm a repeat customer with G&C. Always impressed when I get my vehicle back. Nicely Done!

This is an email I got CC'd on when I told them how frustrated I was with the lack of communication.

I was very hesitant to write this review but after this last call I think it's time. If I could give them 0 I would. My car got hit the first week of October. I heard great things about this auto body shop so I decided if my insurance is paying for it then might as well go to a highly rated place. They give me an estimate and said ordering parts right now is very delayed due to the pandemic. I understood and asked for an estimate. They said it could be a week it could be a month for the parts to come in. That was October 5th. November comes around and then December hits and no call. No email. Nothing. I call to ask and the person on the phone has no idea who I am or what's going on. They said the service member who took my estimate is not available. This was the common theme for the next few weeks. I call, no idea what I'm talking about, then they can't find the service member, but they will write an email. This happened about 5 times until I finally said enough is enough. What is going on?! Do I need to go somewhere else?! I finally reached the service member after complaining to the women on the phone for several minutes. He says the parts should be in next week on Wednesday and that he will call NO MATTER WHAT if the parts came in or not. That call never came. Another service member finally calls 5 days after that call was suppose to come in and says the parts have come in. At this point I'm frustrated and told him of the situation and he apologized but says we can get the car in in 3 weeks. I am appalled. I said I have been without a car since October 3rd and you want me to wait another 3 weeks even though the parts are in? He says he is going to put his manager on, his manager says he can make Monday work. So we brought the car in on December 13th. We have not heard a thing since the car has gone in except for this automated text messages that go to my cell phone saying the car is in track to be finished on time(January 7th). I called this morning(Jan10th) because we haven't heard anything. Some woman picks up. She couldn't find my vehicle under the last name. Finally after searching every detail of my car she was able to find it. Then puts me on hold to go locate my service provider, she comes back and says he's unavailable. Shocker. Then says she will write an email. Then informs me that the car looks like it's still being painted so it's definitely not close to being ready. At this point I'm not even surprised. Thought I'd share before you decided to take your car here. Get ready for 0 communication. The service provider that I never heard back from was Corey and the manager was James.

WORSE SERVICE IN MY LIFE. please don't come here I have prof of everything I'm about to list I took my car for a my bumper to get fix and got the car in worse shape then when it went in 1st) they took more almost 2 months 2 nd) I picked up the car and it had scratches everywhere like they washed it with a super rough brush and didn't put sope on it so it got Scratches everywhere 3rd) they drew on the hood with a marker and they couldn't take of the letters on it (visible) 4th) they drove my car for 300miles with no permission 5th ) returned with BALD TIRES!!! 6) chipped windshield The manger said they weren't gone fix anything but the letters on the hood I tried to post the videos of the paint but it won't let me post them

Long Delays and Sloppy Work My car went off the road in a storm in January of 2023 and had extensive undercarriage damage. I took it into G&C and was helped by a woman named Tyler Walker. She and her team inspected my car and told me that she was going to order the necessary parts and give me a call when they arrived. Two weeks went by with no call. I called her back to get an update and I was told that they were still waiting on the parts due to supply chain delays and that they would keep me updated, yet again. I waited for TWO MONTHS with no call and no updates. At this point, I became very frustrated with the delays and lack of communication. I called and asked for Tyler and was told she no longer works there and that Alex Pantoja would be taking over my claim and that he would call me by the end of day. Alex called three days later apologizing for the delay and assuring me that the issue would be resolved ASAP. I was confused because I was told they were working on my claim in January, yet I received no updates and had to reach out to them myself in March. Even after reaching out to them, it took them until April to even start working on the repairs. Once repairs began, they took two weeks to complete and I was satisfied with the results, until I took my car in to Toyota for regular maintenance in August. Their technician informed me that there was significant mud and debris still left on my front axle, causing a pinhole leak that would become dangerous if left unchecked. I never went off road again after G&C completed repairs, so there was no way this was new damage. G&C wasted my time and then failed to notice and fix serious damage, causing me to reopen my claim with insurance and take time off from work to fix their mistake. This time I took it to Toyota, who promptly fixed the damage. If I had known how inefficient and unprofessional G&C was going to be, I would have gone straight to Toyota the first time to get the repairs done right. Oh, and shortly after repairs were "completed", G&C began calling me repeatedly asking for a 5 star review of their work. 5 stars for wasting my time and letting me drive a potentially unsafe car? Well, here's the review you hounded me for.

G&C did not bother to make sure my car has proper gap between the hood and fender

Just want to update with pictures. These are what I found after G&C "fixed" my car. Uneven gap between the hood and fender (driver side, accident side), different color of seatbelt buckle (they replaced it with black one instead of the oem cream color) and wrong color of wheel (gave me silverish color one instead of the oem chrome color one ) If you don't want your car to look like that, don't go there ...

I have owned several cars with prior paintwork, and not a single one of them ever stopped bugging me, and not a single other person in my life ever even noticed. So, that's me. Let's talk about Eddie's Paint Works: I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie and the team here highly enough. They repaired my wife's Ford Mustang Mach-E (got hit on the passenger's door) with a warm pearl white paint color - not an easy color to nail. I absolutely, positively, CANNOT tell that the car was ever hit, nor that it was partially repainted and blended. It's incredible. I'm simply blown away in a way that's hard to put into words - I went 38 years of life thinking that no paint repair could ever be undetectable, and here I am, proven wrong. In addition to incredible artisan-quality paintwork, Eddie used new parts directly from Ford for the repair and even took the car to a Ford dealer to make sure all the safety sensors were properly recalibrated. Eddie is a true "car guy" and I found this shop by looking for shops that people trusted with their true pride and joy - sports cars, hot rods, etc. Trust those people. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim and Eddie was incredibly helpful in educating me about the process and providing me with some advice and guidance. He worked seamlessly with my insurance and it was overall just a totally painless process. In CA, YOU have the right to choose what shop to get your car repaired at - your insurance can't tell you where to go. Do yourself a favor and go to Eddie! I hope I don't get in an accident anytime soon, but if I do, at least now I know I can go to Eddie and everything will turn out perfectly. I'll never look for another auto body shop as long as I live here and as long as Eddie is around.
