I was hit at a stop sign in a 5 mph collision and the other driver's insurance paid for repairs to my front bumper and a scratch on the hood for my newer BMW. I chose precision based on the recommendation of a local BMW auto shop. Nick is very nice guy and willing to communicate. He dealt with the insurance and it was fully covered. I was only called twice at the end of the repair to let me know it was ready. Otherwise, to check on progress (did parts arrive, etc) and to get estimates of when it would be done (it took 3 weeks rather than 1), I had to call. When I got the call the car was ready, I went to pick it up, but found it was not "precise": the hood was raised on one side above the bumper and side panel, and the gaps around the headlights were uneven. I pointed this out to Nick, who said he'd fix it, and he kept the car for a few more days. When I picked up the car, it looked good. But I noticed the odometer had 22 more miles on it than when I dropped it off (based on Nick's precise odometer record when he began the repair: 39,998 miles at drop off, 40,020 at pickup). I asked him about this and he had no explanation. He denied using it for personal or business use and stayed on the lot, but I can't imagine how it was driven 22 miles for a bumper repair. I appreciate that Nick stood behind his work, but I was disappointed in the lack of communication for a repair that took such a long time, the imprecise standard when I was first offered the car back, and the unexplained 22 miles on my car. I hope I don't need a repair shop any time soon, but for these reasons I would choose another shop if I did. read more

Some hit my beautiful 2013 BMW 7 series in the rear bumper, this is an $ 85,000 vehicle and naturally I was not happy that it was damaged. The car was in perfect condition before the incident and I just wanted it to look perfect again. I love this car and I wasn't going to just let any repair shop fix it, I knew I needed to find the best place in town to fix my BMW. My buddies at GS tuning recommended I contact Nick at Precision Body and Frame. I meet with Nick (one of the owners) and he told me he could make my car look perfect again. After meeting with him, I had confidence that he was the right guy to make the repairs. Their shop isn't fancy like G&C auto body, but don't let that fool you, these guys are experts that take pride in their work. (Trust me, don't take car to G&C auto body, I had them fix a car 10 years ago and they are mediocre at best) I cannot tell you how happy I was when I picked up my car, it looks better than it did before the accident. That is because Nick clear coated the bumper after he painted it and it matches the paint gloss on the car better than it did before the accident where the bumper wraps around and meets the metal. If you love your car as much I as I do, take it to Precision Body and Frame, you will not be disappointed. read more

Neighborhood vandalism can really put a damper on the summer months, but Nick Simi and Bud Simi at Precision Auto Body fixed the car damage right up...and it looks GREAT! These guys stand behind their word which is rare these days. The service is top notch, the quality is excellent, and the quotes are fair. When it comes to having to take your car to the repair shop, it is never a good day...but if you choose right and take it to Precision, you will not be sorry. Stay away, seriously, With the crazy amount of money out of pocket I gave these Guys (Bud and son) I did not expect orange peel, poorly fitted panels and deflected responsibility. When I expressed any displeasure I was promptly reminded of how many years they have in the business ect. - nothing about the problems in front of us. Add to that, the hood paint cracked badly 2 months after their delivery. I'm so disappointed I took my car here, I can not tell you. read more

Friendly service trumps background music, shiny walls and cavernous lobbies any day of the year. Compared to the slick, high-end auto body shops that seem to be popping up everywhere, Precision may not impress anyone with their wallpaper, however they offer solid, competent service and quality work with a smile and a full measure of neighborliness. They'll work with you when dealing with the insurance company to get the results you want. In my case, my car was smacked on the right rear corner, punching a big hole in the rear bumper where it wraps around to the side. Since I was dealing with the other party's insurance company, it wasn't compelled to demonstrate any loyalty to me. Bud at Precision explained to me that the insurer had a legal responsibility to me to make it right, no matter the cost. He emphasized that I was in the driver's seat, not the other way around. That was valuable information when it came time to square off with the adjustor. The insurer did object to using a new OEM plastic bumper cover, however Precision proposed that the refurbished cover be ordered and then, if it was delivered in poor condition or if it couldn't be properly aligned on my vehicle, they would simply insist on replacing it with a new one. That set my mind at ease with the realization that they actually cared about the final result and weren't going to simply slap it together no matter what. As it happened, the bumper cover arrived in great condition and was properly installed. It was impossible to discern that it had been replaced. The painting was done quickly and the color matched very nicely. I had my vehicle back in my garage in just a little over 2 days. Since I was driving a rental provided by the insurance company, it really didn't matter to me, however it was nice to see such responsive service. Oh, and they drove me to Enterprise to pick up the rental vehicle and would have come to pick me up, had it not been that Enterprise (to their credit) shuttled me to Precision when it was time to retrieve my car. Bud was particularly helpful all along the way. Add that into an equation that included great body work and I'd say they're a winner all around. I'd take another vehicle to Precision Frame and Body Shop should the time ever come that it's necessary. Of course, I'd rather that wouldn't happen, however it's nice to know that they are there to help take the pain out of the process should it ever be necessary. read more
