I asked the guy how much it would cost, and he joked saying "one million dollars." I laughed it off and asked again... he never gave me a real answer. So I figured okay, putting on plates shouldn't be that much. Then I asked how much for brakes, and he tells me $1600 for front AND back Immediately I'm like yeah... I'll call my mechanic. By the time I said that, he had already put my plates on and then says it's $30. I asked if he takes tap or Apple Pay, and he says "cash only." Mind you, there's NOTHING posted saying cash only. When I said I didn't have cash, he goes "you can't even give me $10?" Sir... I don't have cash OR cards on me, and there's literally a tap pay sign on the door, so what are we doing here?? At that point I told him to take my plates OFF, and I went to another mechanic. Whole situation felt shady and unprofessional.
