UPDATE: I went in at 5:45 not realizing that they closed at 6:00 (yeah, I was even on the business listing with all their info but didn't process that beforehand) but they (two guys, "Joe" & an older gentleman) gave me 100% of their attention, mainly because I was the only customer in there. Joe looked over my silver bars & rounds, weighed them & re-weighed them. Then weighed them again just to triple-check. This made me nervous because ODD numbers remind me of my darkest days when the ODDS were stacked against me, and all I wanted to do was to get even, get even, get even. Then he weighed my silver once more, for an even four times. Unbelievably, the fourth time the flaccid sack of silver was TWO OUNCES HEAVIER! Upon seeing this, I began to hyperventilate...then the air was getting thinner...the only thought on my mind was heating up dinner...the suspense was making me sick, I pulled my inhaler out to do the trick...but I fainted for just a second it seemed. Suddenly, a homeless guy was pulling my leg...just like I'm doing to you now! 14K asked me what I was trying to get, I gave him a number and he agreed with me. ID in the "system," sign here & here, right thumbprint there, and the cash go here. 12 minutes, in & out, and right at closing time, no less. The guys were friendly & convivial, casual yet professional & honest, they paid me the exact amount agreed upon I would recommend 14k Gold & Coin to cash out your silver bullion. I wouldn't recommend coming in right at closing time, but if you had to I think they would accommodate you. I stand by the initial blind 5-star review that I began with, as they have earned it when judged by all sensible metrics. I've been here before when it was across the street in the smaller location, several years ago, maybe a decade ago. This new location is very well-lit with an easily traversable sidewalk and parking lot out front. Inside is bright, airy, clean, and organized. I've been to a few Pawn Shops/Gold & Coin Stores that were more cluttered & confusing than Sanford & Son's junkyard! No agent of chaos here! Nice looking spot that felt open & serene.

Absolutely Terrible Experience and Unacceptable Business Practices at Benson Jewelers…read more I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Benson Diamond Jewelers located at 35000 Warren Rd, Westland MI .In side Westland Mall. I attempted to redeem a gift card that was purchased on December 31st 2024 at their store, and I was met with nothing but incompetence and a complete refusal to honor it. Despite having the original receipt as proof of purchase, the staff claimed they could not accept the gift card because they had inexplicably failed to load any value onto it. This is utterly ridiculous and a clear indication of their negligence. I presented undeniable proof that the gift card was indeed purchased, yet they offered no reasonable solution or apology for their mistake. To simply refuse to accept their own gift card due to their error is beyond unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of customer service. To add insult to injury, while browsing their Pandora selection, I noticed a significant markup on their prices compared to what I've seen at official Pandora stores. Items were being sold for $15 to $25 more than their standard retail price. This blatant price gouging is unethical and makes it clear that this store is taking advantage of its customers. My experience at Benson Diamond Jewelers was nothing short of a nightmare. They not only failed to honor their own gift card due to their own mistake but also appear to be significantly overcharging for popular brands. I would strongly advise anyone considering shopping here to take their business elsewhere. This store lacks integrity, provides terrible customer service, and engages in questionable pricing practices. I will certainly never be returning and will be sharing my negative experience with everyone I know. The Owner Asked me why I waited 4 months to use the gift card. It was a big deal for me--an emotional, vulnerable step toward feeling like myself again. Instead of kindness or professionalism, I was met with open mockery. The stylist made fun of my hair--mocked me for how it looked growing in, laughed, and acted like I was a joke. She didn't even try to hide her attitude. There was no compassion, no care, no listening. She made me feel disgusting, like I didn't belong in that chair. She didn't offer any real service or support--just cruelty. I left feeling humiliated and honestly shattered. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. If you value empathy, dignity, or basic human decency, stay far away from this place.

I love getting my nails done at Ana's. It's so nice and relaxing. I love that it's just the two of us, some nice music and getting pampered for an hour- I swear it feels like a therapy hour for me. She has a great selection and has no problem helping me choose a color when I just can't decide. Ana has even done my daughters nails. I always tell my friends Magnolia feels like "Truvy's Beauty Spot" minus the large group of lady's- one stop shop for clothes, jewelry, purses, hair care products, haircut/color, nails. Besides the products and services, people come in for Ana!! I always pop in when I'm downtown just to say "Hi!" And see what's new- I swear she gets new stuff so often I find something new every time I'm in there- and I'm in there minimum every 2-3 weeks...but everyone pops in to say hello and to take a look around. Ana's always keeping us on our toes with her inventory and it's not uncommon to hear people running into to snag a new item she posted on social media before it's gone. Today I visited The Diamond Factory of Ann Arbor inside of Briarwood Mall. The store had a sign…read moreoutside claiming "WE BUY GOLD & Diamonds Highest Price Paid Guaranteed" which led me to believe that I would be presented with a fair and reasonable offer for my 2+ gram, 14K white gold engagement ring with two small side diamonds. A 2 gram 14K white gold melt value is $99. The spot price of gold is currently $2,633.53/ounce as of 12/7/24. The manager (supposedly named Victor) and his sales associate (Rafi) offered me only $56 for the ring, despite me already having a prior offer for $250. Victor (real name apparently Vicken Tufenkjian according to public state filings) even claimed that the store didn't have an owner when confronted about his false and misleading sign. Victor also refused to tell me his full name when I told him that I was going to file a complaint. At one point he even tried to falsely claim that my ring wasn't actually gold. To make matters worse, when I returned to the store and explained to Victor that other jewelers inside of Briarwood quoted my ring at around $400, he called the mall police to try to intimidate me instead of addressing my concerns professionally. Five allied security guards along with an Ann Arbor police officer were unnecessarily called on me. I left the store and immediately filed a complaint with the FTC. This experience was extremely frustrating, inconvenient, and disturbing. Please steer clear of this store and go somewhere where you will be treated fairly. PS: if you have bought any jewelry at this store in the past I would strongly suggest that you have it checked for authenticity by another jeweler.

We were told it could be done in an hour! We took a nice scenic drive and when we returned the job was done AND the rings were sparkling clean, beautifully repaired prongs and the resizing was perfect. I can say we were very impressed with the knowledge, competence, and instant service from La Jolla Jewelers. There is a reason they have been in business here in Chelsea for over 30 years! I highly recommend this company. The show room is delightful to stroll through as well. The pieces they produce are lovely works of art. The service is beyond stellar.
