Cute ambiance and you can see the water across the street
    Lucianna W.

Service was great! Our server was attentive and really kind. For food you get served bread complimentary (which I appreciate because many restaurants don't do that now!). The bread was so soft and delicious. We asked for olive oil and balsamic with it. Then for dinner I had fettuccini bolognese con polpette di pecora (with 2 lamb meatballs). Dinner comes with a house salad but I upgraded to Caesar for an extra $5. Dinner was delicious. They had a really big menu too for a small restaurant so I would definitely go back and try other things too! Ambiance is really cute and across from the water. I was glad we were more on the perimeter because there was a loud group in the middle and I feel like it could be hard to hear each other had we been closer.

Parking is bad the view is limited when you sit outside, the food is average. The food was good but average to me. The money we spent here we could have went somewhere else and get such a better taste and value. The tiramisu is yummy maybe close to the best I ever had but 14.00 yummy maybe not. We got the classic and it was so yummy. I got the filet mignon. It comes in three pieces and the veggies is just there. The spaghetti was average at best. It tasted like bottle spaghetti sauce. I don't mean to bag this place because it was a really good meal and it was good Italian food what everyone else got but is kind of expensive.i wouldn't come back right now but if my kids want to go I would. It just not my pick for eating out. The bread was yummy. The customer service was great!!

Rosie was WONDERFUL. All the staff was great! Food top notch! Very cute intimate place! Can't wait to come back! There was a medical emergency with one of the customers and the staff handled it perfectly.

Wonderful! While this place is kind of small and seating not very comfortable because of the chairs and closeness of the tables, it's certainly worth it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and took great care of us. We ordered several items, most of which were fantastic and I can't wait to go back. Probably our favorite was the oyster appetizer, what an interesting and delicious dish! The value and quality are certainly worth noting, it wasn't overly priced for what we got! They do take reservations, which I would highly encourage.

    The view from our table.

We went for a special birthday dinner (5:30pm). The food was absolutely delightful, we would highly recommend. I wish the service has slowed down though. We felt rushed as the dishes came out before we had half a moment to finish what we were enjoying. We ordered an appetizer, wine, salads, main, dessert. To top it off, the check was brought before we finished dessert. The restaurant wasn't full so not sure why the rush.

Son lives in this area and we wanted Italian for dinner on our last night here. The ambience is quaint and cozy. I loved the authentic decor. Jordan was our server and was absolutely fantastic. We ordered a nice bottle of Barbara and it was really good. Appetizer was a pork belly bruschetta. It was ok, it smelled gamey go me so I didn't eat it. Guys ate it and said it was more like a piece of pork On it. They ordered the Caesar salad with their entrée and I ordered a half salad, dressing could've been a little more, we our salads and then our wonderful dinner showed up, I ordered a fettuccine Bolognese with lamb and pork meatballs, SON ordered a pasta dish with Alfredo sauce husband ordered linguine with clams with white wine sauce. The food was nothing to write home about. I was bummed my fettuccini bolognese really had no flavor. An awesome Chef knows how to create food that tastes amazing. I barely ate mine. I was disappointed. Dessert Son had Tiramisu and I wanted Chocolate cake. Cake was a no go, so hubby ordered the special, Rhubarb Berry crisp. With homemade vanilla bean ice cream. Yummy and huge portions to share. I wasn't impressed with the food, but was impressed with the service.

Soggy oily risotto with drowned shrimp

I tend to be pretty forgiving when things aren't perfect but this was overall just such a disaster that I'm giving out my first ever 1 star review. And I think 1 star is pretty generous. First, when you make a reservation you have to put a $50 deposit. Given what the food tastes like this is honestly so insane to me that they require such a high amount to hold a reservation. $20 I get but $50 is a lot. Second, when we arrived the staff was just completely lost. It was chaotic and despite there being multiple staff members walking around, nobody said anything to us for a good few minutes. One lady's back was turned to us at the host stand and like she never turned around or said anything and just walked off. When we did get seated the one redeeming factor of this place is the location and the ambiance. It's cute and the patio has a great view. It's a place you'd think you might get some good home style Italian food... We ordered some bruschetta some salads and then a carbonara and a risotto. Bruschetta was fine, salads were fine though the caesar tasted a little off. But the main courses were truly disasters. The carbonara tasted like porky egg noodles and the risotto was basically an oil soup with some soggy rice and a few tiny shrimps. It was honestly disgusting. I picked around to eat the least oily bits of the risotto and dig out the shrimps and literally shook off the oil from the shrimps -- but clearly I didn't like it and when the server came to take our plates she said nothing and put my partners mostly empty plate (idk how he ate all that) on top of the risotto plate to hide the uneaten portion. Food aside, the staff were literally yelling at each other right in earshot of customers. Things like "what are you doing, you need to put bread and water on table 49!!!!!!!!!" And not in a nice way. Suffice to say I will not be back. Idk why we did this either but we got some tiramisu to go and it was also fine but definitely not a traditional tiramisu. Don't go here!!! Also it's so expensive! What a bummer to pay $100+ for a meal I hated lol.

We always have a great experience here! Our server Max was excellent - kind and attentive. The food and cocktails were superb. We had arancini and garlic focaccia to start and the gnocchi and linguine alla vongole for mains. The owner Kat came to say hello - we love coming here!

Wow did I want to like this place. I'd been wanting to go for years and years and years. We went for our date-iversary which happens to fall near Valentine's Day. My husband asked for the Romantic package which included two glasses of bubbly, two chocolate covered strawberries and rose petals on the table. It was SO off putting to be presented a photocopy of a flyer spelling out the romantic package and then watching her pluck some petals off a tacky bouquet of grocery store roses and sprinkle them on the table. The temperature was chilly and the din was palpable. We couldn't hear her each other across the table. The table? It offered us a great view of metro shelving and plastic bins, from which they hadn't even bothered to take off the labels/stickers. We ordered the Caprese. The tomatoes were so UNRIPE they were CRUNCHY. Two options when you don't have ripe tomatoes: don't offer Caprese or run to Met Market and buy some ripe tomatoes. We tried to order a Caesar salad to split and were advised that entrees came with a salad and you could "upgrade" to a Caesar for $5 each. HOWEVER, per the menu, the price differential between a house salad and a Caesar was only $3. So, ya. That sucks. The Caesar was meh. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana. If you'd bought it at a grocery store in a foil pan and were stoned you'd be happy. But this was a restaurant and it was less than Meh. The sauce was meh. It wasn't worth the calories. I ordered the linguine with clams. The clams were overcooked and stuck in my teeth. The linguine / sauce was like chewing on a lemon rind. It was bitter and wholly inedible. Thankfully they didn't charge me for the linguine. The place was loud and COLD. I saw a guest in a turtle neck sweater and a puffer coat. So bad. We have a saying in my family: "No and Never". This is a No and Never.

We couldn't decide between lunch and dinner, and we ended up going during happy hour. We were able to get some of their food and cocktails at a nice price. We sat inside, even though I had requested outside on my reservation, but the inside decor is very cute too and we were close enough to the open patio. I tried their geoduck clam chowder and Caesar salad and both were delicious. My husband and son got the fish and chips. They both loved it. The fish had a super crispy coating but not too much coating so the fish still shined. Quality was present in everything we ordered. I ordered a lemoncello spritz and my son ordered a pina colada. My spritz was ok but not much lemon flavor. My son loved his though and ordered a second one. We were all too full to order dessert, but I had mentioned in my reservation that this was for a birthday and nothing was said by our waitress, which makes me wonder why they ask in the first place. However, this place has a beautiful atmosphere right next to the beach across the street and phenomenal food, so I am sure my son will be back and so will we when we visit again. Interestingly, they have a lunch menu that includes a lot more such as a po boy sandwich that has caught my eye for next time.....

From the moment we arrived, the host was welcoming, and our servers were wonderful--friendly, attentive, and impressively quick with everything. We chose to sit on the patio, and I'm so glad we did. It has such a lush, cozy atmosphere with greenery all around--you almost feel like you're dining in a little jungle. I ordered the burger. The first bite was delicious because all the toppings and flavors inside work so well together. However, the beef itself wasn't my favorite--it was quite fatty and didn't have that clean, high-quality beef taste I usually look for in a burger. I also ordered a virgin Bloody Mary, but unfortunately that wasn't for me either. It was very thick and tasted a little too much like straight tomato sauce rather than a refreshing, balanced Bloody Mary. My husband really enjoyed the oysters, while our daughter wasn't in the mood for a full meal, so we kept it simple with fries and fresh fruit for her. Overall, the beautiful patio, welcoming service, and relaxed Sunday atmosphere made it an enjoyable lunch. I'd definitely come back for the vibe and hospitality, but next time I'd explore some different items on the menu.

Something to note is I found their flavors to lean more towards the sweet & sour realm. Pull Apart Rolls - the lavender butter is the true star of this dish. They should sell that butter by the tub. Rolls are average. Brassicas - it was good but this was my least fav dish we got because it was a little boring. The bread was chewy, the chutney was flavorful, and I enjoyed the broccoli hummus. Raw rockfish crudo - this was a standout dish for me! No fishiness at all. It was fresh, light, and flavorful. I'm not a huge fan of raw fish because of the texture, but I wanted more of this. The serving size is too small imo. Pork Chop - feeds 1-2. I liked it! The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy. Not dry at all. It came with nectarines I think, but I thought it was squash by the appearance. I think squash would've been better. The broccoli in the grits gave it a good texture. This dish takes 35 min to come out and is worth the wait. Miso caramel cake - I loved the crispy edges. Cake was soft and buttery. The caramel flavor really shone through. Good dish to end the night. Whatever ice cream they use on the Melon on My Mind drink is so incredibly creamy. I wish that ice cream was on the dessert menu. Grand Fenelly was a great mocktail, but very sour from the vinegar. It felt almost cleansing that way lol The dishes we got described above + 2 alcoholic drinks + 1 mocktail was $200 after tax but before tip.

I feel like the buffet has a few less items than before, but the items they do have are tasty and will satisfy any mood. Here were the misses: - I ordered an omelette at the station, the guy says come back in seven minutes. When I came back there was a whole bunch of people standing in front of a whole bunch of omelettes. I asked which is mine, he just blindly grabs one and gives it to me. When I get back to the table it is definitely not mine because it was loaded with shrimp which I did not ask for. - All you can eat Dungeness crab legs, but they don't salt their water so all the flavor leeches out and every leg was bland and tasteless. So disappointing to ruin crab legs like that. - Great selection of desserts but please have someone to police the chocolate fountain so kids (and some adults) don't stick their fingers in the chocolate. So gross! - At $99/each you'd expect better quality overall. Just not worth it anymore.
